I visited the Poseidon hotel with my family as a child and returned on my honeymoon. My husband was just as awe struck as I was visiting years ago. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. There's always a staff nearby, and they're extremely forthcoming in providing recommendations, booking reservations, or finding you the best options for boat tours in ...

Stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it here. Had a superb view of the sea with our own private balcony. There are many excellent restaurants located near the hotel, most notably Next2, Il Forlino and Cafe Positano. The room is fairly spacious but you can hear your next door neighbours when they speak and when the TV is switched on. Special mention to Tony, the hotel ...

Antonio was really the star of our stay in Napoli. He was very accommodating and even pointed out the best pizza places in Naples for us! The room itself was fair for the price however the shower only had 1/2 a door which caused some flooding of the bathroom. Location next to the train station made getting our train to Sorrento a breeze.

This really is a lovely hotel. Just tucked away from the main hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance to the town,so great location. The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The view from the terrace is wonderful and breakfast and evening drinks here were perfect. The room was adequate and had good aircon. We gave facilities 3 stars purely becaus...

The staff were definitely the best part of my experience at the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming upon arrival and departure and made me feel like family. Our room was immaculate with a direct view of the sea and a private pool on the terrace. The stay was made seamless with easy reservations and recommendations from the concierge. Thank you, staff at the Villa Marina C...

We stayed at the Convento during the last week of the season. It's position in Amalfi gives it commanding views over the coastal town, and every room has a sea view. Although the hotel is only 500m away from Amalfi centre, you either need to time your visits around the shuttle bus, or be prepared for a steep descent by stairs on the opposite side of the road - a torc...

The hotel is close to the port, it only takes around 15 mins walk. Main street is just around the corner, we can walk easily to the resturants and beaches. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Also, the room is clean and spacious, this is the best spot for staying over if you are planning a day trip to Capri and Positano. Highly recommended.

Charming spacious room with friendly helpful staff. It was located close to the train station, swimming area/beach and several restaurants. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Decent water pressure in the shower and good bathroom lighting. The only con was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room but even so it was one of the best hotels I’ve staye...

AMAZING staff at the hotel. My husband and I were at a total loss when we left one of our bags in the cab after check out, when we were dropped off at the train station. The bag contained our passports amongst other things. You could imagine our panic! When we phoned the hotel, the staff who picked up immediately tried to calm us down and then she spent the next 30 min...

The only problem with this hotel is the noise from trains and traffic, we stayed on 3rd floor, kept the balcony door closed & it was fine. Hotel a bit far to monuments by walking but having train outside your door makes up for it, train fare for most trips 1.30euro so very cheap. Not the best part of Naples to stay but if you afraid to walk it isn’t a problem at all

Wasn't expecting this good quality for around 60 GBP! The away team Borussia Dortmund stayed here which was a surprise! Was staying in Napoli to watch a Champions League match, location right next to the Stadio San Paolo! Great staffs, nice outdoor breakfast area! But wifi was not the best, only in the lobby and the connection was not good. For beach and seaside,2 metro ...

I booked this hotel because of my interest in GioPonti. Very pleased that hotel has preserved his design exactly. I had a great stay: enjoyed the large campus (pool/beach/terraces/gardens) and the high level of attention/service from the staff. The facilities are very clean, and the staff amazingly helpful: Fabio and Michela went above-and-beyond to see that I had a gr...

We usually stay in 5 star hotel, as all were fulled booked we choose this one from reviews. It didn’t disappoint . Very friendly and patience staff. They gave us a lot of attention and book good restaurants and boat trip For us. They gave us lots of suggestions on what to do during the day . The room was very comfortable and clea.n. Very charming breakfast. It was a...

Upon arrival the hotel didn’t seem much - you are dropped off at a lay-by just outside of Positano but don’t let that put you off! Everything about this hotel is stunning.. each room has a balcony with sea view, every member of staff could not be more helpful! They remember the tiniest things about you e.g the first night I said I was gluten free - when I turned up to ...

Very difficult to fault this hote so I'll nitpick a little! Internet was not great and if you're there during the colder months, there's no heating in the rooms. Everything else was lovely. The hotel is all new inside from the lobby downstairs, two great lounges, a bar, the rooms and the breakfast restaurant upstairs. The cleanest place I've stayed in for a very long t...

Hotel Conca d'ora is run by a very special group of people, who make their guests feel very welcome. We travelled to Positano to celebrate a 'big birthday', and the hotel was one of the best parts of our stay. From willing, responsive and cheerful staff, to a lovely room with beautiful views over the town and the Mediterranean beyond, this hotel surprised at every turn...

Perfect hotel For our stay in positano. The hotel room was very nice. Breakfast was great! My wife works in the hotel industry, we have stayed in some amazing propertys Around the world. The most important thing to us is cleanliness and service. They get a 5 out of 5 in those two areas. The family that owns the property clearly puts thier heart and soul into it. ...

This hotel has a perfect location right in the centre of Capri and on the main strip where all of the best shops are. Hotel is a little dated and overall Capri is very overpriced and full of Americans. Breakfast was very good. For the price it was ok. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here 14/10 to 21/10/17. My partner had previously stayed at this hotel but it was my first visit so I could confirm if Sorrento is where to have our wedding next year. Luigi greeted us at the reception desk upon our arrival and we were very quickly settled into our room. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The loc...

Hotel located at a bit upside of the town but the staffs were so welcoming and attentive - helped us with luggage and parking every time we needed. Especially, Mario at the reception was so kind. Our stay included breakfast and lunch and it seemed it was not communicated well with the restaurant but he directly talked to the restaurant and solved issue immediately. Dur...

I came here for a conference but I wish I had a few more days to unwind in this simple yet functional resort. The rooms and amenities are basic but that is because the main attraction is the pool and outside activities. In retrospect I should have rented a car because getting here from the airport and from down town Napoli costs always double the meter fare: so 100 Eur...

We stayed at La Residenza for 3 nights and have to say really enjoyed our time there and recommend it and would come back again as it was great value for money. Positives: -the use of the pool located a couple of minutes walk through the hotels garden - the garden is very well kept and a lovely addition - the staff are very helpful especially the manager and Stella at...

I booked the last 4 nights of our trip to Italy in Salerno due to a few factors, we needed to get to Rome for international flights and the train station is literally cross the road, but say 10 min walk, and also because it seemed cheaper than a lot of other places on the Amalfi coast. Im glad i made the decision!! Despite reading it is set up mostly for conferences, (...

I booked a deluxe room & was given a room on the 9th floor with a terrace which meant I ordered room service for breakfast every day to enjoy the amazing view. Nice bathroom, room was quite plain but very comfortable bed. Staff were all really friendly so was a lovely experience all round. Not a five star but a very good 4 star hotel.

The service was perfect and lovely. The receptionist was very helpful and recommend us always the best choices and spots! She showed us the hidden spots! Room was tiny but familiar. Pool can be used from the nearbour hotel. Breakfast is italian style - so don't expect too much.

Pros- a lot of amenities, beautiful views, close to a fantastic beach, location to shops restaurants and a bus stop is top notch. You can rent scooters from the front desk which I recommend for ease of seeing the island at your own pace. The staff is fantastic and I couldn’t have felt more welcome. There is plenty to do and see so we were never bored the whole week and...
Cheap places to stay in Campania

Probably the best place to stay if you’re on a budget. For me the whole hostel could need a little bit more attention, especially the outside area and the common room, as it could look a lot more cozy but then again some people prefer that kind of environment. The rooms are very basic - I was in a mixed dorm and there were 4 bunk beds, and that’s it. Beds do shake and ...

This hostel is the most welcoming and best-equipped you could hope for. There is a spirit of it being a cooperative so you arrive and feel at home immediately. Great owner who will help you with anything and his great support team of beautiful people. And right in the heart of the city with train station minutes away. Book it!

Some of the rooms are on the other side of the building (Same level, opposite of reception desk) to enter staff have to buzz you in. In the evening the main building entrance is also closed so you have to ring the bell. So although the area may feel a bit sketchy it’s reaussuring to know that the building is secure. The room and facilities were as accepted for the pric...

We are currently staying in the hotel and tonight is our last night in Naples. We only have positive things to say about this hotel. 1)Walking distance from Garibaldi train station. 2) Has a lot of cheap pop up markets (just watch out for your things) 3) A lot of delicious and affordable food (there is an Indian restaurant opposite the street with the best briyani an...

Some of the reviews have described the area around the hotel negatively. However, it is fairly typical of the area around stations in most cities. It is certainly no worse than London or Leeds and actually we felt safer there. Maybe the people who wrote the reviews never use public transport or walk around poorer areas? I'm sure pickpockets exist but we never came acro...

Just a short walk from the train station to a nice friendly clean hotel. The hotel is in the old part of Florence which the area is quite a bit run down. There are a lot of what seams to be unemployed people sitting about all day and all night doing nothing. Doing nothing for the area, the community or themselves. We were told that this problem has happened in the last...

It was a nice and warm stay. Good room with AC, wi-fi available only on the 1st living floor and on the terrace, good kitchen - you can buy cheap food and cook yourself, saving lots of money. Hotel is situated quite far from Ercolano-Scavi (Circumvesuviana) so you should be ready to walk by foot for ~20 minutes. Bus stop is not far, but I didnt know bus routes. Fa...

Hotel is located at the very heart of the Piazza Garibaldi. So then you can travel anywhere starting from your hotel. The building itself is not designed as a hotel but logical re-arrangement makes life in hotel comfortable. The room was large enough with a nice Mussolini style balcony having an extra wooden window shade. There was a huge area construction right in fr...

Perfect location, just 10 mins walk to the port for other islands and 30 mins walk to the castle. It locates on the Main Street so u can easily find any restaurant just outside hotel. Hotel staff is super nice and helpful. She would give you as much as information about island transport even the place must see in the island. 👍🏻

I had a lovely stay at Pompeilog. Roberto was so friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable and felt like a second home. Actually Pompei is the best area to stay for visiting Pompei ruins as well as doing days trips to the almalfi coastal area and to Naples. I wish I had planned differently and stayed there as my base site for longer- would have saved me a lot of...

We picked this hotel for its reasonable price and swimming pool on our trip to Sicily. There was lots of parking space at hotel, it was guarded and free of charge. Hotel is very nice and makes good impression. Room was not to big but clean. Internet worked only in the lobby area. Included breakfast had a good selection and coffee was excellent. One afternoon we s...

Stayed here for 3 nights on my recent trip to Naples and have a very mixed feelings about reviewing this hotel. Most of my bad experiences can be put to bad luck but i'll still state them here. 1) Booked 'Room' through Agoda and was given twin bed room where beds were aligned to wall rather than next to each other (room 176). My frd booked the same room and was give...

-The toilet wouldn’t flush -the shower was leaking before we even came into the room -There was shutters in the room that wouldn’t close for us so light was coming in all night -Breakfast was literally one crossant but it was very nice -Other than we had a car for transport it is in a terrible location -The staff were very friendly

Absolutely gorgeous village to visit made even more memorably by the modern and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast provided at local restaurant just a minutes walk away.. Very helpful host who went out of her way to make sure we found the best restaurants. Highly recommend this B&B.

What a lovely hotel/B&B! I extended my stay in spite of the distance from Naples because it was such a good place to stay. The staff are warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to provide extras: one very kind lady made me a lunch when I asked about cafes nearby! One thing to note: even the B&B section is more like a hotel than a usual B&B. There were no facili...

We usually stay in 5 star hotel, as all were fulled booked we choose this one from reviews. It didn’t disappoint . Very friendly and patience staff.

The family that owns the property clearly puts thier heart and soul into it. ...

The hotel is set amongst lovely gardens. There is plenty of carparking and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a major wedding venue and in the two days we were there we saw 4 weddings! The impressive ruins of Paestum are only a few minutes drive from the hotel (we would recommend a visit). There was a good breakfast selection, we did not have dinner ...

On arrival we were told you had said our arrival time was after midnight and therefore we did not have a room, I explained we booked for 22nd not 23rd which it would of been if we required the room after midnight. The man on reception stated you had rang and told them this?. He did say he would put us up in another hotel to which I refused, he was very understanding an...

(it is low season). room was great, nice hot bath every night, a couple of english lang TV news channels, comfy bed, lots of pillows; breakfast was awesome - nice touches including local pastries, grapefruit juice, fruit, muesli, hot chocolate - all appre...

very cute little hotel in the centre of naples. The hotel itself was really cute, the breakfast really great, staff couldn't do enough. their recommendation for lunch was superb, even saw the same staff member having lunch there. the grand gallery in which it sits is in need of repair (like the rest of naples, the roof was leaking everywhere) but this is not the hotel'...

We booked a junior suite with seaview and balcony. This was located on the ground floor and much like the photos. However the balcony was the tiniest I have ever experienced (500mm x 900mm?) and on a very busy noisy street. As it was so noisy, we had to keep the doors closed...as there were no other windows, so had to use AC. There are other rooms with bigger terraces ...

I had a book for double for our family and forgot to cancel one of them and are so nice to us to canceled without paid normally was my mistake and I have to assume it. The best to book directly to the hotel. Thank again and for sure we will be back again

It was really nice experience to stay in this hotel. Their serives like at the front desk and staffs were very careful. Even if the hotel is quite far from the Sorrento station, they serve us pick up service and thanks to the location the view from the room's balcony was really great.
Luxury hotels in Campania

This hotel has a perfect location right in the centre of Capri and on the main strip where all of the best shops are. Hotel is a little dated and overall Capri is very overpriced and full of Americans. Breakfast was very good. For the price it was ok. I would recommend this hotel.

The service was perfect and lovely. The receptionist was very helpful and recommend us always the best choices and spots! She showed us the hidden spots! Room was tiny but familiar. Pool can be used from the nearbour hotel. Breakfast is italian style - so don't expect too much.

Stayed at Palazzo Pascal for one night. We parked along the street (this is mandatory as cars cannot come into the property) and you’ll need to walk down several flights of stairs (just something to note incase stairs are an issue). We arrived after dark and there were no clear signs to the B&B so it can be a bit confusing. But the property was lovely. The room was cl...

this villa is not a hotel, it is a fabulous place to stay for a few days, enjoying one of the best view of positano cost. The staff is wonferfull, the swimming pool is almost private, cause there is not a lot of people (7rooms only), and the place is quiet. By walk, you go to restaurant and the beach in 5-10 minutes. You can rent motorcycle near by the villa, so you ca...

At 10 p.m. of the day before my arrival, the property asked for a mandatory deposit of 1000 €, despite the fact that the reservation did not mention any kind of deposit. First they asked to pay it in cash to a third person, at the end I paid by credit card and they forced me to communicate the number of my credit card by phone. As a consequence, I will take legal actio...

Great position on the Amalfi coast! Pricy but you get your own private beach with a lift in the hotel going all the way down to the beach. Two great restaurants in walking distance. Free shuttle bus to Amalfi for shopping and other local coffee shops and restaurants. Breathtaking views! Big rooms! Upmarket, secure parking for your car and 5 star service and cleanlines...

Having booked a deluxe sea view room, the largest and best type of double room in this 5 star hotel, we were told we had only booked a de luxe partial sea view although our booking paperwork showed full sea view, I wondered why the receptionist argued about this when the hotel was only 10% full but she did. We were shown to a room with a lovely view, albeit parti...

A really excellent hotel Ideal location, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Sorrento but so peaceful and quiet. Staff and friendly and willing, breakfast excellent and the terrace restaurant for dinner is a must. Not cheap, but in life you get what you pay for.

As a couple celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we spent 5 nights here at the end of April 2017. The room was as advertised on agoda, as was the price (several hundred euros cheaper that a similar holiday booking website). The room was perfect for our needs with wonderful views over the Napoli Bay. The double glazing kept any noise out at night, and the blinds w...

The arrival at the hotel, check-in and rooming was easy, Mara at the reception was very prepared and friendly. I still think that even in city hotel the staff of a 5 star hotel should escort you to the room rather than just give you the key-to-go. The hotel in general lives in another era, the decor is surreal and retro' - not sure if this is wanted or just a left behi...

What a fantastic 5 star hotel - it overlooks the Naples Ferry Terminal and is in a great location. The included breakfast was excellent & the dining experience is also worth a mention -the Dining room is on the 10th floor so the night time views over the Ferry Terminal are fantastic. Also have a drink or light snack overlooking the pool which is on the 9th floor.

What a beautiful hotel if you're looking for rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a small, clean, modern, and well-maintained boutique hotel with stunning views of the Amalfi coast, a gorgeous rooftop pool, and comfortable rooms. We absolutely loved our stay there. The only thing to be aware of is you are on a narrow, windy road, s...
