The location of this hotel was excellent. Near to Line 3 Gongmao station , a lot of food outlets, a few shopping malls and Carrefour. I booked my local tours through the Concierge Desk. We were so unfortunate to encounter luggage's pad lock issues. Unable to open our pad lock after trying for 30mins. Call to front desk for helps. They sent their engineer to our room. Helped us open the pad lock using their tools. This is going above and beyond their services in helping us solving issues. Really pleasure and appreciate it.

The hotel is situated in a very good location, attached to a shopping mall with nearby access to several more within 5 minute walking distances. Overall, the general feel about the hotel was quite friendly and warm. Upon reaching the hotel, a mere 20 minute journey from the airport, the check-in process was a breeze, done in a quick 5 minutes process, there was even a...

the hotel is located at the city center that you can walk to a major shopping area within seconds. however, taxi fare in chongqing is quite cheap and you do need to take taxi to most of the tourist spots that the location factor isn't particularly important as long as you live around the city center. I would not say the hotel is old, but it's definitely not new. the...

We were very happy with our visit, besides the fact that the pool was closed just for the short time we were there. The bed was a dream, the bathroom very fancy. The morning breakfast was pretty good,...

superb hotel and value, but has none of the 3 l's. 1/do not belive it is 2.75km from arrivals at the airport. it's a significant cab drive, and i expect the cabbie was straight. 2/it is at the airport. that's the middle of nowhere in chongqing. it's a 10 min walk to the train (after a 30min cab wait), followed by a 40min train ride to down town. worth the exper...

Stayed here for Chongqing Marathon 2019. About 2 km to the start point/end point. My room has a beautiful view of the Yangtze river and its bridges. Not close to MRT but taxis are relatively cheap. Limited dining options in the area but the Japanese restaurant served decent food. Staff were courteous. Room facilities were top-notched.

Only two minor recommendations. A small desk lamp is need at the desk in the room. The ceiling light is insufficient when working at the desk. The second recommendation is to put salt and pepper in the dispensers at the tables in the dining room. Otherwise, this is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Great location that located at Line 1 Exit 4 Jiaochangkou. Not too worry about this hotel are in a Muslim Building, just do not bring any non halal food, but people still smoke. King size bedroom are really a big bed and basic amenities provided. Entrance door of hotel room are abit fragile, and look old. will recommend for budget traveler.

If you're looking for a hotel, then skip this place. It's a hostel. Since it's a hostel it also has dorms and communal bathrooms along with DIY laundry facilities and a train and airplane booking service. Anyway, we opted for a private room. The first room they gave us had mold (wife is allergic) so they switched us to a different room. The hot water dispenser down...

Almost the ideal hostel - they thought of everything. Metro stop is just a 1 minute walk behind the hostel (no noise) and a 24 hr store nearaby. Staff is wonderful. Owner takes the time to welcome you. Sits down with you to show you what to do in Chongqing - even hand draws maps including Chinese in case you get lost. Dorms are fine. Stayed in 8 person dorm and besides...

The hostel is quite new, renovated a year ago. It is really clean, shoes have to be taken off before entering the hostel. The whole unit is air conditioned, desk and chairs are clean and cozy! The location is splendid, which is just 1 minute walk to the JieFangBei walking street, 30 seconds walk to the subway station. Staff is really nice, gave me great recommendations...

- bath towel should be provided at least for 2 people. - drinking water should be provided at least 2 bottles a day - There was no window for seeing things outside. So it was a little bit uncomfortable. - the staff cannot speak english, so it was so hard to communicate with them

Nice friendly and helpful staff. Can be arranged earlier morning shuttle transfer to Jiangbei Airport (fair charges). Just slept few hours and then need to wake up near morning. Morning call was arranged by friendly hotel staff. If I went to chongqing again, i will choose this hotel again. ^. ^

Negatives - room was very warm when I arrived and I could not get the aircon working. I didn't ask but I have a feeling it gets switched off. At other times the room was cold (December)but no way of heating it up. Location may be a problem for some - getting a taxi not to much of a problem as you are on the right side of a busy causeway. Getting one home always meant t...

The room was clean and boasts a magnificent view of the river, and in the mornings you get greeted with the foggy but nonetheless majestic view of the high-rises across the river. The hotel is roughly 800m away from liang lu kou train station, the one with the really long escalator. (Quite honestly, the train station itself is worth a visit just for the sake of HuangG...

I had difficult time when i tried to find a hotel for a girl traveling alone (can speak some mandarin). I initially wondered whether this hotel was safe or not, but after i stayed 3 nights there. Really friendly staff, especially if you can speak Mandarin or Chongqing dialect — that got me a sweet upgrade! Great location, super cheap, very basic rooms but clean and all you'll need. This place is a one kilometer walk to the famous Liziba station where the sky train station is located actually inside an apartment building. One thing to look out for though is that...

Well, if you could endure a room without windows, book it. I hate the fact that they didn't mention anything about windows, so everyone would take it for granted that each room has a window. The location is good for sure. You can walk to the most famous tourist spot in a few minutes. Cleanness is a problem also. I see the floor is dirty and I guess it's not easy ...

the hotel is located on two floors within a two year old 30 story building. the building is located within a very large plaza, which also contains a very large two story shopping mall and cinema. across the street are five adjoining major chinese banks, which includes the icbc bank, which is china's largest bank and also within the top 5 world banks. there is a subw...

They can speak English fluently which is really useful for the foreigner. It's hard to find people who can speak English well around that area, so this hotel is so recommended for travelers who can't speak Chinese. Their service is so exceptional! They can help you out about your travel plan, just only tell them so you will not miss anything. The room is so clean and s...

I arrived chongqing domestic airport around midnight. 2 Thai girls, cannot speak chiness but I print out hotel address and location, very important for telephone number. Nova is a real find in Chongqing, it takes up the entire 12th floor, is very clean, economical, quiet, and close to North Train Station and the mono rail. The manager Wei Wei speaks English and along with the staff will do everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

My stay at Chongqing north Holiday Inn was relaxing and enjoyable. Most of the staff had some English and so communication for the non Chinese speaker was not really a problem. Practically everything about this hotel is old and tired, from the facilities to the rooms. The WiFi is absolutely dreadful and shouldn't really be advertised as available. This is not a 5-star hotel, and would struggle to compete with the standards of any 3-star hotel. It's not all bad, with a location close to the airport, and a metro station and a modern shopping ...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Service provided by the concierge and reception was excellent. They were always responsive and helpful. Breakfast had a decent spread of Chinese and western food. Facilities in the hotel such as gym and swimming pool are free. Room was large for its basic luxury room. There are really little hotels in Chongqing that can provide the same level ...

We arrived very late, around 2am. So sorry to disturb the front desk staff at the hour. Sadly the staff never mentioned regarding my booking with breakfast, even while we checked out at 9am, the staff never mention about it. It's a family run business and they treated us like family. Very helpful and accommodating. On day one, arranged a ride for us to the Jiangbei airport on departure day. Our suite has a fabulous view of the Yangtze and night lights. It was nice to have a washing machine in the suite to use after 11 days of travel prior to arrived in Chongqing. Location is ideal for us....

When we stayed at the Jinjiang Oriental over a weekend for short stint to Chongqing, we were offered a superb room for a very inexpensive price. Easy access - 2 stops - to financial district via subway located below the hotel tower. Beautiful views. Hot tub AND steam plus sauna. Even my favorite stair climber machine in gym. Big room and good facilities in the room, but I never see the fridge is locked, you need to contact the front desk if needed. It will spend 20 minutes from the hotel to the airport, the hotel provides free airport transfer, which is quite convenient.

When it comes to currency, the Renminbi (RMB) is the official currency in China. ATMs are readily available, and currency exchange services can be found in hotels and banks throughout the city.
