Connecticut hotels & accommodations

Hotel has underground parking, good restaurant, and a small amenities store. Had issues with the handoff between aggregators and the Hotel, and all the front staff worked patiently to resolve the issue. Due to the 45 minutes it took to resolve the issue, I had time to monitor the front staff in action, and they are truly first rate, responding to each customer's need...

For $450 a night I would have expected a more luxurious room but it was a 7 out of a 10 in my book. The view of the mountains, the pool and the zip liners was what my wife and I loved the best. The bed was pretty comfortable and the bathroom shower and bathroom were pretty updated. The furniture in the room looked pretty beat up overall and the TV looked older. The...

I booked this hotel room as a last minute booking after having a very bad experience at the original hotel I had booked for the night. It was a very stressful time for me and the staff at New Haven Hotel were very friendly, helpful, and understanding. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of a clock tower. I was a bit surprised that the parking was...

I have stayed at Hotel Zero for busines and decided to try them on a weekend night stay with my fiance'. We arrived mid-afternoon to have time to relax before our evening event. The room we were given #238, we could hear a door slamming. We went to the desk to determine if there was another room available, and we were switched almost immediately! The staff was cou...

Pros: clean, modern and sleek aesthetics, generously sized rooms, every amenity accounted for. Courteous and helpful staff. Cons: Clever sliding door for bathroom but not the best for sound barrier. When Door slides it tends to bump into the door jam which can be loud in the middle of the night.

i was here for a quick business meeting. the evening staff was helpful and friendly. the check-in person told me that he never was able to get the priority club points to work properly, but for some reason, it worked for me. very funny guy. the room itself was alright. they were recently upgrading the crt tvs to brand new 40" lcds. maybe if you stay you will have hdtv....

I traveled here for business at Yale Hospital and booked in advance as hotels in New Haven can get expensive. Great location and beautiful views from the 19th floor restaurant. Above average gym. I will definitely stay here again if prices reasonable when back in New Haven.

Somehow the parking lot gets full every night, even weekends. The breakfast in the executive lounge is 80% similar to the full restaurant. All public spaces in the hotel are pretty small, frankly. In the room the water pressure is good, and the water gets hot. No slippers provided, and only bar soap is given (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion come in bottles). Windo...

This hotel was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. The staff were very nice. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. My only issue was it smelled pretty musty, so if you have any breathing issues this might not be the place for you.

The Farmington Inn is a very nice inn-type hotel. PROS: The lobby was inviting, the room was pretty, and had a "Lincoln bedroom" vibe: four poster canopy beds, colonial style wall paper, antique reproduction furniture. Continental breakfast was included. CONS: There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room and I wasn't crazy about the coffee maker being l...

My husband and I visit Connecticut often (at least twice a year) and we usually stay with family but had to stay at a hotel this time. The first 2 nights of our visit we stayed at a different facility which to but it kindly was something less than desirable! So we decided to move to a different hotel closer to our family. To my absolute delight this new hotel was be...

My family and I stayed at Ethan Allen Hotel for one night, during Labor Day weekend. Upon checking in, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We went up to our room, because the kids were anxious to go in the pool. My husband and I examined the room, and although it was very clean, we weren't happy that the mattresses didn't have bed bug covers on them. We asked...

I recently spent 2 nights here while visiting my daughter at Quinnipiac University. This is my 3rd stay here. For the price I paid, it was excellent! Room was very clean and spacious, had king size bed that was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff very pleasant. Location perfect! I asked for a later checkout and this was given to me without hesitation. My on...

I was in the process of moving from West Hartford to Fairfield County. I spent my last two nights in Hartford staying at The Goodwin. I was very pleased with the rooms, the customer service and the entire vibe of the Hotel. I spent a Saturday and Sunday night of Easter weekend at The Goodwin. You really can't get around the fact that Hartford is a city in massive d...

Stayed here based on a relative's recommendation and it lived up to her review. Clean, very friendly, and reasonable in an area where few places fit that description. This Quality Inn is also easy to get to with GPS, but thank goodness for that gizmo--Connecticut's road signage in the area is a ridic. The included help-yourself hot and cold breakfast was also surprisi...

Decent value for the money spent. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the A/C worked well on a very hot weekend. However, when we checked into our upscale room there was only one drinking glass , two threadbare bath towels, and the bath amenities were absolutely basic. The continental breakfast was not worth it for healthy-conscious eaters, with thin tasteless...

The rooms were very clean and beds were amazingly comfortable! The only downsides were that the breakfast area is unbelievably tiny with very limited items. Also, it appears that there is likely alot of sketchy business that takes place there because the management behaves very stern and harsh which is completely unlike the friendly & hospitable interaction travelers w...

We’ve been staying in a lot of hotels in the area due to visiting family and by far this is the best deal in the area. We’ve come back multiple times because of its central location to all the attractions in the area, price, size of the room is generous and the breakfast is the best in any hotel that we’ve stayed in. Will definitely be back again.

This was a nice place to stay. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows. I thought the bathtub could have been cleaner, but overall it was good. The location was great. It was a really short drive to Sleeping Giant State Park and New Haven/Yale area. A short walk in the opposite direction will take you to some local bars. I wouldn't depend on the hotel "bar", a term I us...

Hotel was okay. Nothing impressive to be honest but it did the job for us. I don’t think I would go back. Room are so outdated . Just some little things could change the whole look of it. Breakfast was okay nothing crazy ( stay away from the kinda meat patty, It was awful and taste terrible) . Lobby was nice and the guy at check in was nice and helpful. WATCH. OUT WHEN...
Cheap places to stay in Connecticut

Good location, rooms very clean and parking ample. Front desk person could be a bit more outgoing and friendly. Housekeeping couple very nice and pleasant. Breakfast not quite as varied and extensive as other Super 8s in which we've stayed. They should NOT still be using Styrofoam cups, plates and bowls. Overall a good, comfortable and well run property.

Very nice place, looks much cleaner than expected. Bathroom was excellent but toilet was shaky. Strong, hot shower with plenty of supplies like soap and shampoo. Manager at front desk was friendly and helpful. WiFi was easy to use and high speed, even at far corner room of motel.

Booked a double for one night. We needed a reasonably priced place to stay for 2 adults + 1 child not far from Misquamicut State Beach and this was only a 15 min drive. It's also right across from the Mystic Village (lots of fun shopping!) I got an amazing deal for only $68 + taxes $78 for a SUN/MON stay. The room is VERY spacious, it had free WiFI, a working fridge, ...

we stayed at the red roof inn en-route from cape cod to new york. before booking we had read reviews on trip advisor, and were aware that it was a basic hotel, but seemed to be fine for just 1 night stay. what an experience we had ahead of us!! upon checking in we found our "non smoking"rooms which had such a terrible odour one could hardly breathe. non smoking to peop...

This hotel has a fantastic breakfast bar with hot food, cold food, Belgian waffle station, and various beverage choices including decaf, mild, and bold coffees. They even provide a bag breakfast for those on-the-go. The pool water was warm, unlike another hotel in the area. This was especially nice nice it was fall and the weather was fairly cold to this warm blooded F...

The toilet seat was broken in half and patched with friction tape, the lamp on the desk was a bare bulb with no shade, and the cord to the heater was chewed through with what looked like tiny teeth, so I spent the night freezing rather than sleeping. Probably the worst motel experience I've ever had.

Will definitely going back again. Room was in generous side fits 4 of us, the very innovative in-room exercise workout with video guidelines so you can stay fit without leaving your room. Pingpong table and Wii games. Our son enjoyed his Mario kart race with me so much and kept saying he wanna go back to EVEN hotel again. I enjoyed my pingpong match with my wife too! ...
