Due to small print re exchange rates by two night stay changed to being 100 euros more when I went to pay. I didn't get this through any other site I booked other hotels with. I will book with the hotel directly in future as I've stayed there previously and it's always been great.

Highly recommended if you are in Cork. The friendly crew of Lancaster will make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and with beautiful views from the window. They have the best croissant I ever tasted! Everything interesting is walking distance especially the English Market and St. FinBarre Cathedral. :)

We were told on booking we would have two queen beds as they were five of us but had a queen & a double very small queen & double to be honest & one of the lads lost something under the bed & we pushed it to find it omg what wasn't under there seriously hadn't be moved in a long time...

We loved staying in this hotel and felt transported back to a bygone era. We had read some negative reviews but we have to remember that this is an old Hotel which in our opinion has been kept original and hence some people could interprete this as being "tired". Anyone can see the amount of effort which must go on tirelessly to keep the Hotel to a high standard. The ...

The hotel is located by a busy road in Cork, but once you go thru the arch and enter the courtyard, it's all calm and peaceful inside. Our room was huge! Real value for money. The breakfast spread was substiantial. We got all our directions from the friendly people at the front desk. Plus point: Coach to the airport is just across the road round the corner.

short visit. very enjoyable. the west cork hotel is a good starting off point for driving the beara ring. it has decent facilities and a nice bar area with good pub food. it's an easy walk to the centre of skibberreen where there are some interesting shops, some good looking restaurants and some interesting bed & breakfasts.

What a hotel everything was brilliant the room was beautiful, the hotel surroundings inside and outside peaceful, the spa was such a great facility and we couldn't get over the choice at breakfast... hotel really is an amazing place to stay. Would recommend it to everyone!

Very very nice hotel. We were only there for the night before flying out. I didn't eat so I can't rate the food. Everything about the hotel was nice, luxurious, professional. It's not a great location for exploring Cork City without a car although the bus can be caught from the airport easily enough. Loved Cork and this was a great ending to a great trip.

This house was in a great location with a lovely view. The bedrooms were comfy with ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast was substantial and very good. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. As we arrived late she helped us to book a meal at a lovely hotel 10 minutes walk away called Casey's of Baltimore. We had a great meal and then went into the bar to listen to li...

Really enjoyed our stay here! lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean and everything waa very cute and Irish which was exactly what we wanted! The staff were so sweet they even left Easter eggs outside of all of the guest's rooms on Easter Sunday!!

Nice old hotel nestled deep in the hills of cork. It's in great proximity to restauranta and nightlife by foot, but pretty scary to get to by car. Roads are extremely narrow. It took us no time to get to blarney castle and cobh in the same day! It was a great central location and i was very pleased by how friendly the staff was-would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Muskerry Arms. Location was perfect, short walk to Blarney Castle, Park Woollen mills. Little shops and café nearby. Service was good, check in at Bar was quaint but efficient and easy. Bed was comfortable, you can hear the music a bit from the bar but not loud - we found it pleasant to sleep to. Would highly recommend if you are wa...

This is a top class hotel and the accomodation was superb, the service courteously flawless and the food exceptional. Every small detail was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble for the staff from the general manager down. It was a real pleasure to stay at Hayfield Manor and I am looking forward to my next stay.

I was going away for the weekend 22nd to 23rd of May 2010 to Cork City with a friend. It was a spontaneous decision to go away so i booked this hotel. I had heard great things about the Clarion hotel group in general so decided to give them a try. I couldnt have been happier. The hotel is in a perfect location within 5 minutes walk from the central bus station along th...

Stayed one night.Had stayed some years ago and found that little has changed.decor is a little tired However rooms were clean and comfortable.Ifound the staff to be helpful and friendly.I wouldbe quite happy to return but for two gripes. There was some type of machine running into the wee small hours beneath our bedroom window .The noise was infuriating, and we actually ...

From the moment we entered the place's white gate we knew we made the right decision - Ballinwillin House is a beautiful and impressive place, at a perfect location to have our first night in Ireland after a long flight. The big room was clean and cosy, breakfast was delicious (made by farm-only ingrediants!), and Emilia, our host, was lovely and very welcoming (even t...

I spent a wonderful evening at the Castle with my wife and two teen daughters. We all agreed that it was the most memorable stay of our two week trip. The setting is beautiful, and the house has a feel to it that is beyond description. Great hospitality as well. And my daughters told me to add this- the best WiFi on the trip. Next time, we are staying for a few da...

I had a nine square meters room, but it was adequate. Good internet, very clean and quiet. My only complaint would be staff not willing to call a taxi for me, they just directed me to a special phone for that. And nobody answered when I used this phone. I did however have no problem getting a taxi on the street outside the hotel.

We arrived too be greeted by a very nice girl at the desk. Our room was very Comfortable and Clean. We had dinner and breakfast both top class. The staff were very nice and a credit too the Hotel. All in all I'll say 10/10. I'll stay there again with out question.... Thanks....

We appreciated Pam's warm welcome and hospitality, and conversation. She made us an outstanding breakfast, fit for royalty....a cooked to order hot breakfast with several options including full Irish plus excellent cold buffet of fresh, stewed and dried fruit, yogurts, homemade scones and bread, lovely cheeses, cereals, juices etc. Our room in this historic manor w...

I would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful 2 or 3 night stay. Staff are very friendly and the beach nearby is nice for a walk even in winter. It also has an excellent health club which is excellently managed and state of the art with lovely pool area.

Our stay at The Montenotte was very comfortable. The room was clean (something many hotels can't seem to achieve) and well equipped. The bed was great. The view of Cork at the end of the day was nice; the grounds were beautiful. The staff gave me a fine tip - go see Kinsale. We had a good time there visiting Charles Fort and dining. The only suggestion I have is to off...
