Traveling to India? Find Daman and Diu hotels

We visited with our young kids which included an infant. The rooms were very clean, and the views from our rooms were lovely. We booked a super deluxe which had a full sea view and a deluxe which had a pool and partial sea view, both on the first floor. Though the super deluxe rooms are comparatively spacious, it was close to the dining area of the adjoining resort from where loud music was being played at night. We loved the cozy deluxe room as we could watch our kids playing in the pool. The breakfast spread was good in terms of quality and variety and the service prompt. The children used the kids playroom which was stocked with TT, carrom, chess and a play pen for kids. We used the spa facility too which was very good. Room service was also prompt and helped us with all our requests including heating the baby's meals regularly. All in all, it was worth our money spent and don't mind visiting this place again in the future.

The best thing about this hotel is its location on Devka beach. The executive sea facing room we stayed in offered a brilliant view of the sea and the swimming pool. It was fun to watch the water movement during high and low tides; which exposes the rocky sea bed at times. The restaurant is good, food quantity is plenty, so order judiciously. Try the sea food at their Oyster restaurant. The beach park is at near vicinity, so are ample shacks of shoppers. The hotel arranges for pick up / drop to / from Mumbai airport on request. Very good place for stay.

booking will be value for money if done well in advance. althought the hotel is not sea faced, it offers silence and serenity because it is located in a corner of nani daman, away from the hustle-bustle of the main devka beach area (where most of the hotels stand). Meals at the PAKWAN veg restaurant are on an expensive side. Cleanliness is maintained well. The hotel has a 4 feet deep swimming pool, a big play-ground, spa.

Overall hotel stay was good but had a important problem at the time of check-in. They said I don't have booking although I booked through Agoda almost 1 month back with full payment. Probably There was some miscommunication between Hotel Manager and Reception staff so they have not blocked room for me, they said payment Check from AGODA came just one day before my check in date. Although when I called manager 1 week before check-in, he said room booking in my name is confirmed. After waiting for half an hour Luckily they gave me a room which they allotted to one of their friend and it was getting vacant. If they had no room available then I would have been in Trouble, getting any other hotel at this peak time was very difficult, and it would have spoiled my Vacation. So it was hotels mistake and upto some extent Agoda's issue as they made payment very late.

The staff at this hotel are great! Super friendly and really helpful. They helped us book some activities we were struggling to pay for online, went to the shops to buy us beer and even let us order a Domino's to our room! If you are staying in daman then I highly recommend you stay here. With that said, as a western couple backpacking through India, daman wasn't for us... The beaches are full of wild dogs (more than we have ever seen throughout our travels) and we had some beggers get rather aggressive with us when we refused to give them money. If you are a group or are a couple of guys, you may find this place a interesting adventure, but if you are a couple or a female traveler, I would advise caution or give it a miss, it just doesn't have a safe vibe about it... But if you are visiting, stay here! It's clean, well priced, in a central location with lovely staff.

We were a couple staying in the super delux room of this hotel ! The room was quit big & spacious with all neccessary room ameneties like aircon,fan,hot & cold shower etc and all are in good working conditions ! What we love is the location of this hotel ! It is located little bit away from the crowded Devka beach ! However,location is still on the beach but near the market & Teen batti area ! Beach is about 100 mts away from the hotel ! The breakfast is good enough to cater almost all types of tourists ! We really loved to stay here and will be definately staying again in nearer future !
