Where to stay in Dublin County
Dublin County hotels & accommodations

The location was great! Very close to the old city center, north of the River Liffey. This is the oldest hotel in Dublin so don't expect anything super modern and fancy, but the hotel definitely has character and a strong sense of history. There's a traditional Irish restaurant in the basement, and the breakfast was really great! Definitely recommend it if you have ti...

This was an awesome spot to stay in Dublin. You can take the airlink bus from the airport here, or a taxi. They allowed us early check in as our room was ready. The staff members were all extremely knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to answer our questions and help plan activities. Our room was clean and comfortable. You have to pay for breakfast but the...

We stayed here our first night arriving to Dublin and had a really nice stay, which left us wishing we had booked the whole week out at Hilton. The staff was so accommodating throughout the whole stay. Their shuttle bus driver even went above duties and drove us further close to a tram service, saving us money on extra costs. The bed was super comfortable and I absolut...

Friendly staff that were thoughtful and helpful and would ask if we needed anything. Amazing breakfast each morning served continental style but with hot food available and a lot of choices. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. The location was perfect for covering the different sights around Dublin. It was a good central location. Communication with the hotel w...

Elegant hotel and an excellent location within walking distance to much of historical Dublin including Trinity College, River Liffey, St Stephen's Green, Christ Church Cathedral, St Patrick's and so much more. Everyone on the staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. I had issues with my phone company failing me completely with no international phone services. Fr...

Its my first time to stay in hotel in Dublin. And I travel with my 4-5yrs boy. He really like the hotel. The price is cheap compare to what you get. The room is clean. There are everything you need from staying over night, shower, bathtub, ironing, tea/Coffee. Its very good location. There is bus stop front of hotel. Or you can walk to tram station only 1station away f...

This hotel is my favourite hotel in Dublin. It was usually too expensive for me but I took advantage of a recent deal for weekends. It is just perfect. Honestly. It's beautiful. It's next to the canal on a quiet road. It's 10 minutes walk from the city centre. It's next to the new train called the LUAS which is so convenient. The breakfast is just perfect, perfect. The...

Loved our Stay here. Was very central to everything in Dublin within a 10-15 minute walk max (3 minutes to temple bar). Was great for busses. Staff there went above and beyond. The guy who works overnight very helpful and always a willing to lend a hand. Called multiple places for us and reccomended places. Girl who worked PM was willing to help out as well. Asked for ...

We booked our room at the Morrison based on the reviews here at Agoda. It had good reviews and everything that was said was true. Great location! Everything is walking distance (i.e. Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral to name a few). There were a lot of good restaurants near by as well. We only had two days in Dublin and this hotel allowed us to maximi...

At first glance, the visitor's impression of the hotel's location is that this area of Dublin is in need of investment and enhancement. However, don't let that dissuade you from booking! The premises are well-cared for and clean, with a good lift to the upper room levels and a secure car park exclusive to residents. Bedrooms are spacious, very quiet and well-appoint...

Now a regular hotel to stay at as it is in a great location for the sea views and shops but also not far from Dublin without the Dublin hotel prices. Great food in the hotel but also less expensive food and drink outside nearby. Room and bathroom clean and quick Housekeeping.Value for money.

The Hotel is really in the heart of Dublin. The service offered by the front office is outstanding and very caring. In particular Mr Ali, Manager at the hotel took great interest in an issue which cropped up not out of the Hotel's fault. He made sure that our stay would be a stay to remember. He succeeded. A special mention also goes to front officer (Elise) who als...

A touch away from the centre of Dublin, but what a perfect place to get away from it all. Truly a mansion with huge gardens that invite strolling, reading, relaxing. The grounds are complemented with an old - fashioned restaurant with its own interior garden, unbelievably attentive and friendly staff, very large rooms...

After a delay in Dubai I had to find a hotel quick and fast late on a Sunday night, after checking agoda The Radisson BLU was only chosen because after speaking to the night guards at Dublin airport they said it was the closest and only a five minute walk from the arrivals exit, all the other hotels required taxis,to be honest you can see it just across the road, when as...

The hotel is ideally located as it so near the National Concert Hall, St Stephen's Gardens, Grafton Street and all the main attractions of Dublin. The room, breakfast, dinner and service were all of an exemplary standard. All the staff were welcomimng and professional It was a pleasure to stay there.

one of the cheapest room in Dublin with attached bath...it is a hostel, so the lobby area is always noisy and area can be noisy at night...but staff are very helpful and friendly...location is superb as it is right by the bus station...would recommend for someone just looking for a place to sleep

Lovely hotel , really big rooms and comfy beds. Excellent breakfast ( though switch pancake machine off too early !) . Staff very helpful and friendly even when my daughters backlpack was lost (and subsequently found ) when we left in the hotel luggage hold . Whilst location not far from Dublin the traffic makes it a longer journey and on average €25-30 which mount...

The location is great - very close to bus to City Center. If you are going to travel there, make sure to go on line early and get the visitor Leap pass for the public transportation. The room was nice, the shower was very slick...we ended up putting towels down in it to not slip. Breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to know that I didn't have to order t...

My partner and I recently had a one night stay in the riverhouse hotel and we honestly cannot wait to go back. The hotel itself just oozes character, from the antique furniture pieces to the warmth of the open fire in the foyer. Such an amazing refreshing change from most of the modern establishments i have recently stayed in. The food was exceptional especially the ...

When our short staylocation fell through in Belfast and we couldn't get anywhere close by to stay, Ibis in Dublin added a night on to our previously booked 1 night stay and accommodated us for a 2nd night. We arrived after 11:00 pm and there wasn't any issue. We liked the clean, simple room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and menu options and the friendly staff. Alth...

It's was pleasure to stay here, almost all was near perfect. But there is always something you may count as a minus. And CP Dublin Northwood has it of course. It's outdated big TV set inside the buffet. Because I stayed here alone and only for 1 night, for me it was not a big problem, but if you travel as couple or as family you can't just sit and watch TV in your ...

Only had one night here, but would have loved more. Excellent hotel with cute rooms in a beautiful old house. Only a block away from the Irish sea, where there is a sea walk trail. Tram stops are nearby that take you right into the heart of dublin. Food was delicious and staff was always nearby to help.

Our stay at Donnybrook Hall was just fantastic, our first day in Dublin and they made us feel so so welcomed and explained where there was things to see and transport etc., they got to now us and spent the time making us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was stunning and so very filling, Terry the manager was also very welcoming and wanting to get to now us also which ...

Our stay was short, but memorable. Our hosts were most gracious and accommodating! We enjoyed the lovely breakfasts each morning. We walked to town for several meals, and for convenient access to transportation to Dublin city. Castle Lodge B & B was a lovely and welcoming place to stay for our visit to beautiful Ireland!

hi we stayed here for one night. the hotel was very well located. we came from cork and it was on the main cork dublin road. we used the leisure centre which was clean and safe for children. the room was big and even though it was over the road, it wasn't noisy. i would recommend this hotel

The location is perfect, within walking distance to just about every major attraction in Dublin. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very much like home away from home. Breakfast are the cream on top, 5 star quality. Will definitely stay there again if we’re back in Dublin.

My guide book for Dublin stated that the Harding Hotel was good value for the money - approximately 100 euros per night. When I booked, it was $250 for one night. I should have cancelled when I noticed the discrepancy, but I was short on time, and didn't, my fault! Definitely NOT a $250/per night hotel!!

We stayed here for St Patrick's weekend and it was a perfect location to stay if you do not want to stay in the city center. When we arrived we were looking for a place to eat before we headed to celebrate St Patrick's. The owner suggested us a great restaurant near by and even offered to drive us there. There were five of us so her and her daughter took us both. Her d...

we were looking for a castle stay for our last night in dublin and came across clontarf castle which seemed perfect, enroute to the airport, less than1 hr away from dublin city center which we were putting up. perhaps we were expectin too much but it turns out that only the lobby and its frontage were part of the original clontarf castle. the rooms were no different fr...

The best things to say about this hotel are that it is very close to the Dublin airport, it has a nice restaurant with good food, and the people at the front desk are very helpful. However, in all other ways this hotel did not meet my expectations, especially considering the high price of over $240 per night for a very small and cheap looking room. The double room...

Met Claire to collect the keys, she kindly helped me with all my luggage to the apartment ( I had lots as I had travelled from Asia for a 2 month stay in Europe). Accommodation is not described well enoug...

Had a lovely stay at this hotel.Helpful staff and good food.Plent of places to relax and sit near a fire,it was winter time! Dinner excellent in the dining room with a great view of the sea.Did not have a chance to try the gym or pool but both looked good.Ideal location to walk into town or along the beach or take the Dart into Dublin.

We came back to Dublin the last day of our stay in Ireland. As we had to get the plane at 6 am the next day, we looked for something close to the airport. This hotel was easy to reach by bus from the city centre. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful and attentive. There is (well working) free wifi, a bistro with reasonable prices on the ground...

It couldn`t have been better. Our room, apparently, had only just been finished, but it was perfect. Seagulls and waves against the shore. A stroll to bars and seafood restaurants....but the breakfasts here are incredible. And it`s all a quick hop away from Dublin on the train. Above all, the staff had a warm welcome,a professional approach, and time to help with direc...

Hotel was immaculate. Staff were helpfull and friendly. Facilities were first class. Health suite was very well equipped, state of the art and very well managed. location of Hotel was ideal and within walking distance of Dublins' main shopping areas. Alltogether a very worthwhile and value for money hotel.

There were three of us in our group so we had a triple room (3 single beds) and everything was lovely, clean, comfy beds and a warm shower. Breakfast was huge and very reasonably priced. We were on the top floor so the room was extremely quiet, couldn’t hear a thing! Wonderfully polite staff and a great location, only a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and about 20 mi...

When I mentioned the room was for my fiancée’s birthday they left a lovely birthday card with some beautiful fancy treats, the view was the best Iv ever seen and didn’t want to leave, the dinner was delicious and desert was amazing, the full Irish breakfast was delicious, all in all my stay was the best Iv ever had, best hotel for a romantic getaway.

This hotel is in a great location right in the heart of temple bar. It is very close to grafton and o´connell street for shopping , and right across from some of the busiest bars and best irish music you will find in Dublin. There are many great restaurants stumbling distance from your dor, just incase ypu have downed one two many pints of guiness

We loved our stay. it was not quite location we were expecting, as that is, I think buisness address for a company which rents out about 100 apartments. Our location was much better for us 2 min walk from Aviva stadium and Landsdowne rd train station, so great for exploring city. Advantage was we were in a lovely residential area of Dublin, but had easy access to ci...

Staff very helpful, location was great and breakfast delicious. Room was average for a 4 star hotel. At the Shelbourne the guest is surrounded by history. Presidents, Prime Ministers, screen and theatre legends have all stayed here. The Irish Constitution was signed in Room 122. And it's all immaculately kept. The restaurants and bars are sensational. The rooms are truly the size they claim to be, as are the beds ...

the room itself is beautiful, very tastefully decorated throughout. very nice little touches like dvd's, water and chocolates. i would highly reccomend the merchant house for any visitors to dublin, my only regret is not living far enough away to be able to justify staying more than one night :)

we stayed three nights in luxury room, which was classy in spacious. service personnel was motivated and tried their best, yet there were some shortcomings, perhaps due to lack of professionalism. breakfast was good, but highly overpriced. you can get better in city center with half the price. however, it takes a good 15 min walk there. next time i will take a hotel...
