The facilities are a bit outdated. However, it’s clean and offers great value for money. Probably one of the best places to stay in Fes if you are looking for a convenient location outside the hustle and bustle of the old town.

The Riad Sara was a cozy and beautiful place to stay. Siad was lovely, accommodating, and kind to interact with during our stay. There was just a bit of trouble finding it at first because it was down a very small dark street.

The only negatives I experienced were that some rooms are very noisy (room 5 is above the main entrance door) and the breakfast could have more variety (but it’s fine if you stay only 1 day).
It is really close to everything in the Medina. It is obvious that if you are going to stay in the Medina you have to walk a little bit from your taxi to the hotel through the Zoaks about 200 meters. The hotel has a services to help you with your luggage from the main street (taxi delivery) to the hotel (don't panic is really close and the hotel worths every euro)

For a first timer in Morocco, we did not know what to expect. The place was more than we could have asked for. It had renovations done that gave a feel for Morrocan architecture. The staff was great! A bit hard to find, that's the only drawback. Be prepared for quite a walk from the blue gate. Won't mind coming back.

When you come inside you find yourself in a very charming place: nice design, nice architecture. Rooms are ok, staff friendly, breakfast (everyday the same) ok, View from the terrace very nice. It's a very good Hotel, it's So Clean, the rooms are so big, the staff are lovely, they try to please us as much as they can. Poor maintenance, extremely over priced. Will never return to it.
I requested for a partial refund of money paid in advance for a reservation from 24th August to 1st September, and it was declined. The hotel should be sensitive to unavoidable changes in schedule and adjust the cancellation/refund policy accordingly.
