Georgia State hotels & accommodations

The hotel was lovely and I couldn't have stayed in a better location for my conference. My No to recommending the Omni Hotel is based entirely on the state of their internet connectivity. It's such a critical component how could a hotel have bad WiFi. On my priority list for a hotel it goes: Bed, Locking Door, Toilet, Wifi, Lights in that order. When I got to my roo...

This hotel is pretty central to everything. Our average Uber ride was about $13. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the bed could have been more comfortable, but that may be something that's more our preference in mattress type. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I would stay ...

I loved our stay at the Hyatt. It was an easy walk with small children to the Coke factory, the Georgia Museum, and the CNN Center. Loved that the mall was attached to the hotel, too. I didn't give 5s overall because the floor had something sticky and for the five days I was there the stickiness was too.

The very first interaction I had with staff at ECCH was - superb. A slight wrinkle with the reservation, solved seamlessly. There was another opportunity with a friend who decided to stay at the hotel but did not have a reservation. Problem solved smoothly. Everyone was a delight to deal with and resolved little issues that arose. The line cook went out of his way to a...

Hands down the best stay! AJ checked me in and I was originally in a room near the vending/ ice machine, which normally wouldn't be a concern, but I was here for a Tough Mudder and needed uninterrupted rest and was concerned that being so be so close to what can at times be a noisy part of the hotel might wake me up and ask AJ to move me and he was happy to accommodate...

Pros: affordable, clean, good location, quiet area. Cons: no free parking, booked for 5 people but was given only 2 queen beds and only 4 sets of towels, system was down had to wait past 4pm for check-in. Shampoo was really tiny maybe 15ml to be shared by 5 people no kidding. Shampoo lotion body wash claimed to be 'anti-stress' but smelled funky to me, all pocket sized...

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms clean and comfy. The staff were very helpful. And the hotel is in the center of everything you want to do in Savannah. Everything is within walking distance, so park your car and forget about it. We used valet parking, and the valet gave us some of the best tips for our stay, from places to eat to the fact that there's a ho...

This is a solid 4 star hotel. It has a very chic lobby and feel, but it feels dated. My room was really dark - due to decorating decisions. That is not really my style. I like to see what I'm doing. Fixtures were quite old. Our sliding bathroom door did not close all the way,. The bed was absolutely comfortable, as you would expect from a W hotel. However, I do thin...

Gorgeous old hotel in a great location! Savannah is such a walkable city and having a hotel between the historical district and the waterfront was ideal for us who love to explore but might want to go back to the hotel to rest for 20 minutes or change. The hotel itself is a lovely well maintained old building. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was a fantastic spread...

Not noisy for an airport adjacent hotel, spacious rooms, free shuttle with driver kindly escorting guests to nearby convenience shop and restaurants if needed as the hotel doesn't have its own. Breakfast is as in any Best Western Plus so not the healthiest

I had a group of 20 teenagers stay there this past weekend. The rooms looked exactly like they do in the pictures. Everything was clean, the tv was probably a 50" flat screen, there was a microwave and a mini fridge. It's pretty close to fast food and coffee but not in a traffic heavy area. We didn't mind the 20 minute drive to get to any of our other destinations over...

Looks great from the outside and in. Lovely and new, great big car park. Large clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Friendly staff and the lady who looks after breakfast is a real asset, so lovely and helpful, just like your favourite Grandma. Nice pool and sauna open from 10am and a 24h gym for residents. Close to beautiful historic downtown Thomasville and handy if you'...

Stayed there twice- once our drive south and again going back home north because it is a great location, allowed our dog, had very nice staff, nice room, great bar off the lobby. Full service hotel—Gave us champagne on arrival, valeted our car, helped with luggage, had a nice breakfast. Best part is location near the best area for eating and nightlife. Plus our dog lov...

This hotel resembles a motel. The entrances are outside and obscured by shrubbery and trees. The rooms are nice but I would never make it to stay in an actual room. It just seems unsafe. Not worth the value. Do not trust Agoda's pictures!!!! Visit and call the hotel first, you will save yourself a lot of trouble and heart ache.

The location is right on the beach had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The woodwork at the front desk is amazing. The staff was very kind and the rooms were extremely spacious, comfortable and clean. The entire staff was kind not just the front desk clerk. We booked three rooms and had no problems in either one of them. Breakfast went very quickly. I went ...

I travel all over the United States, and the Cottonwood Suites in Savannah Georgia is great. The rooms were very clean, the staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was the best in a hotel in a long time. It was delicious. From now on when I visit Savannah for business I will certainly be staying at the Cottonwood Suites.

I have been to many hotels and hostels all over the world, and I must say the knowledge and helpfulness at this hotel was amazing. The rooms are standard and the cleaness and location are more what you normally expect. If you book through agoda, booking.com or hotels hotels., please confirm that the hotel also have your confirmation before you go there since many o...

The man at the front desk was absolutely awful the most unhelpful little man i have ever come across. The hotel was good, his co worker was very helpful.. but i have never come across such a sassy, uncooperative, unaccommodating man which such attitude problems who works at the front desk for a hotel. EVER. I hope you either fix his attitude or simply get rid of the gu...

We were leaving on a honeymoon to Jamaica the next morning. The night manager told me I could pay a set fee and park on site instead of driving to a park and pay. She stated we would be dropped off and picked up at airport and shuttles back to our car after our trip. The honeymoon was great and we got back to Atlanta wore out. I was on the phone over 30 minutes trying ...

The hotel was old and not a place that should be open to the public. The mattresses were lumpy with divets in them. The AC didn’t work. Our room appeared to be visited prior to our stay and the bedspread was messed up and toilet seat left up. Staff was very professional but there was not a manager there so I left the manager a letter explaining our experience.

Great service every day we saw the same person and she was amazing!!! She made sure my daughter and I had everything we needed, and when we checked out my daughter forgot her pillow and before we walked out of the hotel she brought my daughter's pillow down awesome service!!!!

The bathroom was extremely small and the shower was stopped up in one of the rooms I had. They did give a small discount for the trouble. Nice stay and a very nice Breakfast.Plenty of choices and loved that they had turkey sausage instead of pork.
Cheap places to stay in Georgia State

I love it the beds could a little bit softer but above all I would recommend this hotel to anyone that's in need of a place to stay. The have a restaurant that's combined with them as well and they also have other places you could eat at, walking distance as well, you could walk back to the hotel after getting your belly full.

My expectations were low going into this stay because I usually stay at Hilton brand hotels but since the trip was unexpected, there weren't a lot of hotels left in Savannah and I didn't have much to choose from. This hotel was rated three stars, which is really one star too many for a hotel like this. I took photos, but the carpet was torn up, the sink cracked, the b...

I've never stayed in a worse place. The ac was either freezing you or you had to turn it off, no other option. Holes in wall around shower. Door handle had to be pulled up instead of down like normal. Sliding lock on door broken. Sheets were thread bare and torn. Bedspread just as bad. Too tired to keep looking. Toilet seat looked like it had been there since the 60's....

I was please with this hotel had become my second home until the fire on June,1, 2019. I was trapped on the third floor with a blind friend we lost all our belongs. We were not even able to recover anything that was lost hotel took no responsibility for fire knowing sparkler system was not working. I could have lost my life but God.

Enjoyed the stay there except for the stray cats in the parking lot that seem to think you have food for them and approach you. I'm afraid of cats so i sat in my car for a few minutes before driving to the other side of the building to enter my room from that way.

What stood out the.most to.me.was that the rooms was so cleAn when you first walk in and they all had very good manners. The housekeepers was awesome and they did any and everything that we needed them to do. The sheets and the floor was cleAn. And the bathroom was ok but it was better off cleAn by me. Lol. But other than that everything was great.

This is a place to sleep and rest... do not book here if you are looking for extras or amenities. Room was in reasonably good shape. Bed and pillows were decent. I would stay here again under the same circumstances. (just passing through on a road trip)

Everything in this hotel was old and out dated. A?C had buttons faded out, couldn't tell if it was heat, fan, A/C; I switched rooms 2 times only to find out all the blankets and towels had stains on them. The entire hotel needs to upgraded and the breakfast they offered me was a cup of coffee. I was very disappointed.

My husband and I rented a night out to spend time alone. For just $20 more we choose to get a suite in the indoor building above the office. Totally worth it since we got the $20 back in the morning once we checked out. the room was bigger and the bathroom as well. The indoor suites just have a comforting feeling as you walk into the room.

Room was decent and no serious complaints about the staff. The couple running the front desk on Tuesday morning were especially nice. Main issues: the entrance reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. The front desk clerk was outside smoking and having a loud conversation on his cell phone. The hallways could use a good cleaning and there were used mattresses all over the p...

This is a renovated motel which was not renovated very well. The bathroom door in our room scraped the floor so you could hardly close it. Bed was lumpy. But the worst thing was the extremely rude manager. There was a black guy who had spent the night at the motel with his kids, came in for breakfast. The manager gave him all kinds of grief about his 3 small kids ...

TERRIBLE ... the FIRST room we were given had VERY old furniture (in poor condition), rug was FILTHY.... MOLD in the bathroom and tub bottom. Just couldn't believe you rent this room in this condition....... we requested a cleaner room .... and was given one in better condition at least it was clean. ---- lobby was very impressive!

I the change my travel plans was looking for great hotel pricing and stumbled upon Agoda.com. The prices for hotel rooms were reasonably priced so I went to their website and booked a room. It was quick and easy an in less than a minute I received an email saying that my booking was confirmed and complete.

Only thing i didnt like was that the hotel held a extra $25 a night on my credit card at check-in. Those fees should be posted on the website to let guess know so its no surprises and also ice makers didnt work on 2 floors. Had to go 3 floors up to hunt down ice

Great location, lovely hotel. I always appreciate coffee and tea set up in the lobby- the small free bottles of water available by the door in the midst of a heat wave were an even nicer amenity. Only suggestion would be some more seats (with shade) in the pool area- for a large hotel the small number of seats was challenging.

Excellent hotel in downtown Atlanta. About 6 blocks from the Georgia World Congress Center. Within walking distance to CNN Studio, giant Georgia Aquarium and Coca Cola tourist attraction. Hotel provides free breakfast for Club level rooms. Free internet also provided at business center. Rooms are large and clean. Air-conditioning works well.

The Omni Hotel was immaculate. The environment they cast perfectly captured elegance in a prime location in the center of the battery. Staff was nice, and the view from my room was fantastic. There were a few negatives that really sullied the trip. 1. I stayed 1 night in the Omni. At the end of my stay, upon checkout, I was notified of a $40 valet charge. For a $200 a ...

We got a room at the 59th floor and the view was awesome. The rotating restaurant at the 70th floor served delicious food and the staff was outstanding. The location is perfect and the room was huge and comfortable. Only the valet parking has some room for improvement, we had to wait 20 min for our car and $32 per night is not adequate for the service!

Very nice facilities, comfortable beds (if you like firm mattresses), nice gym. The breakfast buffet was well worth it. As for the location, it was a bit far from things. If you have a car, there should be no problem, but without one, you'd best get all your amenities beforehand.

When we walked into our room, and checked out the bathroom, we noticed there was a shower stall but no bathtub. My husband, who knows how much I enjoy my daily soak in the bathtub, said this won't do. So he went back to the front desk, and told the person working that it was my birthday weekend and that I really enjoyed taking a bath. She switched us to another room ...

It all comes down to getting a good night’s sleep and because the AC was exceptionally loud, we couldn’t. We asked how to turn it off, and the answer was that it can’t be shut off. I have good earplugs but they couldn’t reduce the noise nearly enough. What a waste of energy, too. Good location (right next to subway), clean, and friendly staff. But impossibly noisy. ...

It was a beautiful location however they do have some issues they need to address. My wife and I went to celebrate our 37 year anniversary. The Dining Rooms were closed so we had to drive 25 minutes to Douglasville to eat all except lunch on Friday. When you are an isolated facility you need places for guest to eat. There were only enough to make 3 cups of coffee a...

With very little time for research, I booked the hotel for myself, a friend and my puppy to escape Hurricane Irma based solely on rate and location. So I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel and its grounds were lovely, room cozy and clean, and the staff warm and welcoming. The entire hotel was full of fellow evacuees and their dogs, and everyone from the front d...

The staff was really nice. The hotel is in walking distance of shopping and great restaurants. Paying extra for a river view meant we were on ground level, with no direct access to the waterfront. Although I liked being at the end of the hall, it meant that there were quite a few military couples (they had military balls this weekend) that thought it was okay to hook u...

Nice hotel, really loved the atmosphere, room was cleaned. Wouldn't recommend to order food in here, first day food was alright the other day everything was too salty wasn't able to eat it, other than that really loved it beautiful view from the room, comfortable beds.

Our family spent a very enjoyable three days at the Hotel at Avalon. It was busy due to the Thanksgiving holiday, also with several weddings taking place at the conference center, but that added to the ambiance. The front desk was exceedingly helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and reasonably quiet, despite the many dogs in evidence (I assume that the...

I rarely give bad reviews, but I felt that this hotel was overpriced with no amenities. The breakfast was $15 for conventional and $18 for the buffet. There was a charge of $16 for the internet. There was no free water. The room rate was $180 for a night. After I checked out I was told if I join the Marriott rewards program, which is free, I would have received disco...
