Groningen Province hotels & accommodations

It was a business trip when I stay in this hotel. The experience was both relaxing and enjoyable. The room is clean and service is good. The lack of extra facilities such as gym and swimming pool were made up with a tasty spread of breakfast. The staff was very helpful particularly Eddie. Not a bad hotel that is ideal for an over night stay. It's a 7 minute walk from train station and the same into the shopping centre of Groningen. The staff were welcoming. Room was okay. The bathroom only had a walk in shower. No real complaints, but for €115 euro's the hotel is over priced.

The staff is very efficient and professional. They have as much or as little time as you need to answer your questions, get you a drink, or whatever. Chef is very knowledgeable about wines. For a small hotel, the food is remarkably good. The hotel design emphasized the high ceilings and large beams of the old construction and then added all of the modern details th...

Great.... But breakfast was way over priced.... And without notification there were two men in my room, fitting a TV cable with no prior warning... Particularly annoying as I was attending a funeral and it delayed me getting ready. Also the taxi fare of 25 euros from the leeuwarden train station to the hotel , which is a distance of 3 miles is disgusting

There are two things that Stee in Stad make it an ideal please to stay the staff at the reception and location. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly and always willing to ho out of the way to help. The location ideal as it is a 15 minutes from the city center and also has Masjid 5 to 7 minutes away. Also the north station is 15 minutes walk. Needless to mention...
