Guangxi Autonomous Region hotels & accommodations

i highly recommend this hotel. the staffs are really helpful. the best from the tour service. she’s very kind, and cute, too.. you better make use of the tours organised by the hotel, for their prices are reasonable. i once made arrangement with a driver, and was disappointed, for he brought me to an expensive restaurant and took advantage from the ticket prices. but ...

Everything about this hotel is perfect except the food can use some improvement. The staff is lovely, one of the most beautiful pools I've ever seen. Night staff can use some improvement as their English is not strong. If the standard of food can be improved then this will be one of the best hotels out there. I really wish this hotel a success because photos do not do...

Beautiful hotel, very traditional Guangxi style of decoration, nice environment. But difficult to find in the first place, and not very fond of the free boat trip supplied by hotel.Breakfast and afternoon tea both are very good and full with choices.

The hotel has a 'local' 4 star rating. I must say the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with necessities that deserved a four star rating. However, all bookings come without breakfast as the hotel don't have a restaurant nor cafeteria. It only has a lobby with a tour desk which can arrange sightseeing tours airport transfers and rooms. Its location is superb an...

I think it would be the best option for those would need to go to Exhibition Center for work everyday. The room is very clean, new and big. However, there are not many choices on decent food nearby as it is not in the city centre. But the taxi fare is cheap to cover this of course.

The rooms on the 7th floor are very nice, 3 to 4 star standard. The rooms on the 6th floor are okay, maybe 2 to 3 star standard. I have not seen the hostel rooms so I'm not sure what they are like. The facilities like the garden roof top and pool table are very good. The first time I stayed there on the 6th floor we had some problems with the room which the staff were...

From the moment we arrived, Erica welcomed us so warmly we really felt as if part of the family. The food was superb and the waitress Maria was simply charming. The family room was easily 4 Star and exceeded our expectations. Curry, the owner organised a great itinerary with our own guide which gave us total flexibility. We didn't want to leave Yangshuo and our stay at...

John the owner was an amazing host. He offered us some delicious tea and showed us some of his tea set collections. He directed us to the best places in Guilin for sight seeing and food. When our friend checked in a day after us, John found out that she would be placed on a different floor and he generously moved her to a room on the same floor as us, in an upgraded ro...

I booked this hotel based on customer reviews. I was very happy with my decision. Hotel facility was first rate, clean, modern, newly renovated, tastefully decorated and comfortable bed. The roof top deck and the restaurant have an amazing view (river, mountains and elephant trunk hill are visible, including sun rise). Hotel has tour desk that can help arrange for tour...

I had a view of the swimming pool below which was not so bad, would've preferred hillview if they had it. Loved the interiors of the room, feels very luxurious. Can't comment on the food as I didn't have time for breakfast and would be out the entire day and night. It is quite close to the elephant trunk hill, around 10mins by cab. Bought my entrance ticket for that at...

Our rooms were comfortable, clean and of a good size. A range of toiletries were also provided and regularly replenished. The hotels location on Dongge was convenient as it was about a 20 minute taxi ride to the city centre and People's Park and a 15 taxi ride in the opposite direction to Folk Song Lake (Bar Street) and some of the Nannings main shopping centres. What...

Have been to Nanning many many times. Have stayed at so many different hotels because there are not many good choices at all in a city this large. Now that the Marriott Hotel is in Nanning, the city has a true 5 star Hotel. Yes I know some claim to be 5 star and I have stayed in them. There is a not a single 5 star hotel in Nanning EXCEPT the Marriott Hotel, irregardle...

My husband and I just returned from 4 days/nights at this hotel. We rarely stay in one spot that long, but as soon as we arrived at the Moondance, we decided to book our last 2 nights here as well. When traveling, it is always difficult to gauge the quality of a hotel online. I was particularly worried about China, having never been there and reading lots of terri...

I was staying at the Guangxi wharton hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly at check in. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The room overall was not very luxurious but was fine for a business trip or a short stay. Did not eat at the hotel so no comment on the food.

My family and I were very happy staying in this hotel. In fact we extended our stay for another 3 days. The owner and his wife were very kind and helpful; attended to all.our needs. The owner, Mr. Tang and his staff spoke good English and for a very small fee Mr. Tang drove us to wherever we wish to go in the city. He even gave good suggestions of where to go in Gulin....

Overall very happy with the stay. Found staff to be generally very friendly and helpful. They arranged a visit to Detian Falls for us, which included a packed breakfast and a lift to the bus station. Particularly liked the fact that the bed clothes were changed every day and the room thoroughly tidied up unlike other Chinese hotels I have stayed at which have been the ...

The location of this beautiful boutique hotel is perfect, very nearby to the central West Street, but on a separate alley so away from the noise. I stayed here for four nights with my brother and from the start we were delighted with the beautiful room we had here and the cozy boutique charm of the accommodation as a whole. Cheap 5rmb washing machine upstairs also v...

This hotel is a short walk from the main part of the city (which is nice because you are away from all the noise). The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly! They helped us arrange bike rentals and sort out our confusing travel plans. One lady spoke English but we had to use a translation app with the other staff members.

We had stayed for a Night , The Hotel is about 15 - 17 Mins away from Guilin North Railway Station .The rooms were too good . As specially the Family room , they had Soft toys for the Kids & also some toys to play for them in Bath Tub . We are Strict vegetarian ( Vegan ) , the chef had prepared Noodles for us & Fried Rice as well . Opposite the Hotel there is the Night...

Everything from start to end was good at this Hotel (I don't know why they call it hostel). We stayed here for 3 nights. After a hectic few weeks visiting cities which were fast paced without somewhere to chill out, it was great to find a hotel situated across from the lake, where we could walk around in the cool of the evening. I think this is the best place to stay in XingPing. Recommendation, if you not speak Chinese, batter to talk with stuffs:) the price for a renting a bicycle it side hotel more expensive than outside (the price outside 15 per day, in yangshuo 10 per day). The stuff is always ready too help, very good breakfast inside hotel, we loved it! In hotel a lot of foreigners, vie...

5 star recommended for traveller to stay in this hotel! Staying 1+ extra 3 night was a memorable experience because staff helping too much on how to go everywhere (tour) in Guilin becomes easy! And Owner making very Good Taste Hot Milk Tea! We Love everything ablut Cyan Box! Especially how they treat us! Thanks!

Jenny was so lovely and helpful - she speaks great English and gave us good advice about our stay in Yangshuo. She also went above and beyond to get us tickets to the local show. Be aware the hotel is up an alleyway just off the main Pan Tao Road - we did manage to walk past it before we found it. But Jenny was very helpful in giving us directions through WeChat.

We stayed four nights in Guilin. As soon as we arrived we got a free chilled watermelon which on a hot dry day was a perfect welcome gift. The hostel is very cozy, our room was spacious enough for two, clean and with the mountain view. The stuff is very helpful in getting discounted tickets, and also helping in emergency situations (we had to go to the hospital in the ...

We stayed here on Chinese New Year to replace an overbooked hotel. It served a purpose but not sure if we’d stay again. The water wasn’t hot. Perhaps this was because they rely on solar. The host is nice and friendly. It was ok but that’s all we can say about it. One night stop.

We loved our time in Xingping! We met some great people from the UK, Hong Kong and France. Crystal and Kevin have created a fun, open and social environment. We played beer drinking games our first night, and then the second night, we were even invited to join in a shared dinner with Crystal, Kevin, their friends and some of the guests that was fantastic. We highly r...

Guilin Ease Hostel was one of the best hostel i stayed in China. Very friendly staff, most speak perfect english and help you with booking the tours based on your trip. Location is awesome, walkable to most of the attractions in Guilin. Lots of food options around. The hostel also has inhouse food which is quite convenient. (Their Cheese Sandwich was AWESOME!). Highly ...

Our stay was great, helpful front staff and good in English. Free pool table for guest to joint. You can book a day trip to waterfall from the hotel. When you want to go out to anyplace by taxi it very difficult because most taxi driver can't speak English but front staff of this hotel make it become easy by write down the place name in Chinese for every guest. The roo...

The hostel is well situated for arrival and departure with a privately hired ride to/from Guilin or the airport. If one is arriving via public transit, the hostel is a hike up the road. The receptionist was friendly and patient with our queries. Most of the food was very good. (The charcoal chicken is highly recommended! The room was nicely equipped with a comfortable ...

This hotel is a bit out of the way but just a few minutes walk from one of the main streets, it sits next to the well known language institute C.L.I. (Chinese Language Institute) - but it is without a doubt worth staying at! I will say that while I truly loved the top floor with the balcony you have to be prepared to climb stairs (I was on the 5th floor) - no eleva...

Lily is a awesome host and since she have Move to this new place it is much quieter and nicer. Not to mention a really cool place for climbers to hang out and chit chat and catch up or meet. There is climbing equipment and guidebooks for sale as well and also some cheap beers in the fridge. Thoroughly recommended and will stay again.

Not great overall, although wasn't disappointed with the room or cleanliness. We encountered problems with the booking that the staff weren't wit-full enough to resolve and the service was horrendously slow, food poor. The staff were friendly yet dim and a hassle to partake in discussion with. Thankfully Agoda were ever eager to step in and resolve the issue swiftly, e...

After unsuccessfully trying to find the hostel i booked i called the manager and he said that it was full and i had to go to another location, this was very inconvenient. Very nice stay. Very quiet location with amazing views. But only a 15 minute walk into yangshou or ten minutes to the outskirts where theres restaurants and small supermarkets. And the owner zilin was very helpful and kind. We ate with her and the people working there twice and she didnt charge us anything. Then on the night we ate from the menu there, we had the best ...

This hostel is quite hidden and not easy to find. Just give them a call! The place is very quite and there is kitchen available. The rooms are comfortable and the toilets need a bit of improvement. Actually there is only 2 toilets for 20 people when it is getting busy. But manageable. There is a special note for Ryan the most helpful young Chinese guy who works in this...

The staff were really helpful and lovely and spoke good English. The room itself was fine - and they actually gave us a free upgrade. The only problem is it's slightly out of the way if you want to walk to the city centre. Bus and taxis are available though.

impressive experience i had with this hotel is it's friendly staff. the best staff service experiences i had in china who providing all the details about the tour booking, arranged tour booking for us even in the midnight of the first day chinese new year with the cheaper price compared to other hotel's guests. we knew it when we asked the other hotel's guest in the sa...

I could not be happier with my stay. - The hotel was easy to find even when I arrived at Yangshuo at midnight. It's a mild walk to West Street, Intercity Bus station and GongCha. Note: The Bus #5 runs between the North and South Bus Station - which costs 01RMB/trip/person - can drop you off at West Street (西街口), from there you can walk for 10 minutes to the hostel. T...

My friend and I wanted to stay right in the rice terraces to get great photos for sunset ad sunrise. Be warned it is a steep and exhausting 2 hr hike fro the main car park up to the terraces and it is NOT easy to find. The name of the hotel is in agoda is NOT the same as on the hotel door so confusing. Our room was very basic Chinese style with no shower and a drop toi...

We stayed 3 nights at Huanggong Hotel and we were really happy of our choice. First of all, the kindness of Sophia and Gary really pleased us a lot. They are always doing their best to make you enjoy your experience in Yangshuo by sharing good advice or just talk in a very friendly manner! They are lovely! Then we were happy with the great location of the hotel: only 1...

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Centrally located. The grand reception area opens out onto the Main Street. Just around the corner is the night market for late night street food and cheap eats and most of what the town has to offer is within a walkable distance. The hotel is situated in Jiuxian Village, outside of Yangshuo. Our room had the best view, looking out onto the village and mountain landscape. The architecture of the building and renovations were humble but very comfortable. With the hospitality of the owner and staff, we felt like we were staying in someone's home. Wandering around the village and taking a bike ride...

it's located right in the centre of everything happening at west street. although it doesn't really give you the best impressions from the outside, you'll be totally surprised. the design was beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. will totally recommend this to anyone who's going to YangShuo.

Baike Hotel is located in Ping An Village of Longji Rice Terrace Fields. It was an excellent hotel. The buildings and rooms were great. This place was perfect for us both! Location- great about 30rmb into town by taxi, 20minutes walk from reed flute caves Facilities- great again we stayed in a bigger room with outside bath tub and it was so nice to sit in there with a drink under the stars Staff-didn’t speak much English but were very helpful

We ended our stay in Guiilin, full of anticipation and excitement when checking in to this 5 stars hotel. The location seems far off from the city centre, hence food and entertainment will be something that you likely should forgo ( took us 40 minutes to reach this hotel from city centre). Greeted by friendly reception staff, and got free upgrade of room (low season bo...

We opted to stay out of town in the vicinity of Red Flute Cave. The Easy Hotel is locally run - with friendly accommodating staff who also make a nice noodle breakfast. The room was relatively new, very clean, and comfortable. There is a local restaurant located on the lakeside and you are only a short stroll away from the Red Flute Cave. The drive into the Elephant Hi...

The hotel rooms were very clean and modern. The staff were lovely however spoke almost no English. We had a guide whom helped to translate when she was around. Otherwise it is all about the sign language. They tried very hard to help but don't except to get recommendations for activities or explanations about the area. This is not a complaint just a heads up. We ...

More unique experience being away from the more touristy parts of the town. Resort is situated at a more secluded part along the river - a perfect getaway from the hordes of tourists but still easily accessible to the town as well as hikes around. the rooftop was quite nice especially at night and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, food was also very good here!...

We are a family of 5 with an elder and 2 pre-teen kids. The hotel is beautiful, unique and quite new. We got two rooms next to each other with a huge shared patio on our own overlooking a small lake. One of the room has a small kitchenette and an amazing Japanese "tatami" area with wall to ceiling windows, really spacious and beautiful. The staffs were very helpful...

Note that the guesthouse doesn't accept Visa or MasterCard contrary to what is stated in the listing. Furthermore, no ATMs in XingPing would let us take cash out and we had to go to nearby Yangshuo. Well, what can I say. I book this hotel v. last minute and when I got there they didn't ave my booking. Luckily after some time, and me contacting Agoda, it was all sorted. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is really friendly and helped is with directions. The hotel is good value and the food great! Also, you can easily rent bikes (for free) and electric scooters (for 80 RMB). Moon Hill is not far - same as Yangshuo city center. Location was ideal for a 3-day trip!

we are so happy we booked our stay at the yangshuo tea cozy hotel! it is located in a serene and idyllic setting alongside the yulong river, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and countryside from the room, yet only minutes from the bustling downtown (more touristy part) of yangshuo. this is a quaint hotel (similar to a bed and breakfast in the us) that pro...

When I checked in my room was cold at 20 degrees. I was told the air conditioning system is not turned on until 7pm. They turned it on for me and it only went to 21 degrees. A radiator was given to me which helped. However, for a five star hotel, I do not imagine this should happen. Also, there was no taxi available due to the location so I had to pay 80RMB for the hot...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. We were "lucky" to try out different rooms from each of the three blocks (1,2 and 3). I prefer the 1 and 3 block as they have larger bathroom plus the one on block 1 has more extras included. Block 2 offers more living space so if you're on a business trip or with children, that'll suit. The "Zhongshan" night market is just walk...

The resort is clean and tidy. Very suitable for family as the resort provides different facilities for children and adults. I shall visit this resort again when I have longer holidays. The golf course is of high quality and satisfy most golf lover for a few days there. There is also a nice garden and lake for children too.

We were extrmemly glad that we had 'upped the stars' and booked the Green Lotus while in Yangshuo. The room was spacious and very well appointed. I was put-off that one needed to pay extra for all spa-related treats. managed to book a helpful tour guide through a hotel employee and our stay in the area was great and timely appropriate. Did all the must-do and crossed...

Two friends and I had a great experience recently at the Bravo Hotel. We arrived in Guilin from Chengdu, a bit worse for wear after an arduous journey. When we arrived we immediately noticed the outdoor swimming pool, whi...

this is in many ways a 5 star hotel, with excellent facilities, beautiful rooms, top of the line service. but, at least in my stay, i found some minor things which could certainly be improved with a little effort. thru agoda i got a price per day, on internet i foun later other sites with prices almost dollars per day cheaper, and included breakfast. also the room h...

It was a memorable experience in Nanning when I was there on 16-25 Oct 2010, because I chose the right hotel via Agoda. Honestly I didn't have any idea about Best Western Premier Nanning Red Forest Hotel when I saw it in Agoda, but it's mentioned it's near the exhibition/convention hall, where I participated at one CAEXPO exhibition there. Thus, I just took a risk when...

We stayed at guilin and yangshuo for 10 days and before we left guilin, we had booked shangri la a night stay to try out as we did stayed at few hotels. excellent!! Only complaint is that I could not obtain any of the pillows they suggested. Pillows on bed were much to large and firm for me. We booked this hotel for the great location; entrance to Elephant Trunk was immediately next door a 1 min walk! The "tourist help desk" who was supposed to give advice was useless; kept pushing package tours so we resorted to asking one of the guys out front managing the parking to ask a taxi driver for a day rental + driver, which ended up as 600rmb/day for 6am-6pm t...
