Where to stay in Ikaria
Ikaria hotels & accommodations

The entire staff was so accommodating, but most of all, Paris the patriarch, went above and beyond. He brought me fresh pomegranate, sent me off with olive oil, had great chats and laughs with me (as much as we could communicate in each others language) and ended up giving me a discount. The room was simple and basic but had a balcony, was incredibly close to the water...

A little hard to find if driving as there are no signs on the main road of Kokkari pointing to Lemos Hotel.Got caught in a narrow street for some anxious moments until a local guided us though. The hotel reception did not answer when we rang for directions and didn’t seem concerned when I said we had called and there was no answer. It was however convenient, clean an...

A large room with balcony, however the bathroom was outdated and the bed linen did not match. Also it was difficult to find due to road works and is quite a walk uphill from the ferry. Nevertheless less the hoteliers were very helpful, particularly when my ferry was cancelled and I had to stay another night. This hotel is probably at its best during the Summer season.

Lovely stay at Hotel Rena. We were a group of 5, and all felt satisfied with the accomodation we were given. The bathroom was clean along with the bedrooms. I had a small fridge, TV, and also a balcony with a table and chairs. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - just be sure to brush up on some key Greek words/phrases to make communication easier as there were...

We enjoyed the breathtaking view of the sea and calm waters due to the cove-like nature. There was plenty of sun and the swimming pool was also nice. Breakfast was nice with a freshly brewed coffee machine. It is about 3KM from the famous quaint-looking Pythagorio town with great seafood and marina. The Samos town centre is a bit farther at 14KM away and it has a beau...

Petros, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly as was the rest of the staff. My room was comfortable and clean, of reasonable size with a double bed and a balcony with a view of the harbour. Lots of choice for breakfast including local produce. Air Conditioning worked efficiently. Only negative was that the shower recess space was a bit tight.

We have booked for 5 night stay at Nafsika Villas after extended our stay for 8 nights. Nafsika upgrade our stay to their other properties which called Petra Mare village. It was an excellent location to stay but definetely you need a car. Beach was small and tranquiliyt embrace you soul if you do not like crowded places this is an excellent beach for you. crsytal cle...

Artemio was extremely helpful and the recommendations he gave us were excellent. It was a bit disappointing how seldom he was there, though. In the week we were there we only got a hold of him twice. The view from the upper studios is breathtaking and I really liked the location. The beds were utterly uncomfortable, though. The mattresses are in dire need of changing. ...

The concept is very good to use recycled materials and old buildings to create a pleasant area for tourists but the shower soaked the bathroom due to design, the place smelt of mould probably due to this water permeating the stone walls and the bed and pillows very thin and uncomfortable. Great views from balcony over town and sea. Access very difficult with car due ...

Clean room with reasonably comfortable beds. Owner very nice and happy to help with advice on things to do around Kokkari. Opposite end of town from the beach but only 10 - 15 minute walk so not a big deal. Decent breakfast for €4. Use of fridge and aircon costs extra which I don't think was in the description? Wifi only downstairs in courtyard and reception.

Thank you for everything, Penelope! We was there during low season. Quiet area, no neighbors at the establishment. Nice location, near from marina, super market, restaurant. Walking distance from the ferry pier and the public bus station. Clean and well equipped. Nice shadow terrasse. We recommended this place.

We found the Afroessa to be in a perfect location, close to the beach and within walking distance to the main restaurants / square. The apartment was clean and quite spacious for our family of 4 considering it was a 1 bedroom. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Thankyou

the accomodation is in a great location and within walking distance to armenistis and mesakti beach, I could not get enough from the amazing views over yialiskari marina which is also within 5 min walk ..the acomodation is surounded by pint trees and its a small family run business , Kostas he is a great host and he will come out of his way to make you feel welcome I ...
