Kansas State hotels & accommodations

Room was clean, with a nice and comfy bed. Hot breakfast, friendly and attentive table service. Overall hotel is very nice, although a bit dated. This hotel is obviously well maintained and the front desk staff was wonderful. You really can’t get much better for the price in Topeka. Highly recommend.

Recently we have stayed in the Country Inns and Suites when we go to the Legends, but there was a sale here at Best Western. I think that in the future we will stay here instead. The breakfast is better, and the pool has a slide and a hot tub. Score!

Service while we were at the hotel was great and the facilities were very clean and exactly what we expected. Our issues came after we checked out. Both when I checked in and checked out I was told I was prepaid. I gave my debit card for incidentals only. When I checked out, I was not offered a receipt because I was prepaid. 2 days after I checked out, there was a cha...

The hotel was very outdated. The tile in the lobby and elevator looked old, cracked, and dirty. The room was clean and had working appliances. Breakfast was okay. Many options were available. The pool is not heated and no hot tub was available. The beds were comfortable. There were stains on the curtains.

receptionist had a hard time processing my 3rd party reservation. room had a strong negative odor. was told by receptionist that breakfast closed 930-1000. Breakfast person began shutting down before 9. would only recommend to a friend if expectations were not high.

For several years we enjoyed staying at various Country Inn and Suites. We hadn't stayed in one in a few years but on a recent trip in late June, 2019 we were arriving late into Salina, Kansas and booked a room at the Country Inn and Suites. We were given a room that seemed to have a faint smell of cigarette smoke or something similar. We checked with the front desk...

We chose this hotel because of a morning international flight out, and because we had rented a car from a car rental in this airport. It made for a relaxing stay overnight, car return in the morning and flight out. The hotel has an indoor pool and exercise room which we didn't use but looks nice. Room very comfortable. Would stay here again.

A few of the other guests where horrible people. The people above us let their children run around their room jumping off the beds and dropping crap on the floor. I'm a heavy sleeper and they woke me multiple times throughout the night. Even with a sound machine running for the granddaughter and the air conditioner fan running they woke me up at 12:00 AM, 1:30 AM ...

the hotel was fairly clean considering it was under renovation. the hallways were pretty torn up but not too dusty. the rooms themselves were very nice and clean, EXCEPT the sheets smelled of bleach. I can appreciate the fact that they are keeping everything cleaned and sanitized, but it was so bad that I had to sleep in the chair. I was having trouble breathing it wa...

This hotel needs an elevator. If you have a room upstairs, you have to carry your luggage up a narrow passageway. The staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is nice. The location is excellent. The pool was not functional for some reason. We will absolutely stay here again
Cheap places to stay in Kansas State

Townsman Inn in Larned , KS is an exceptional value for your money. My room was extremely clean. The room had recently had new carpet installed, the mattress appeared to be fairly new and the room was recently painted, The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good. And best of all the Inn was owned and operated by real Americans...

I am on oxygen 24-7 and when I made reservations thru hotels.com I had said I needed a room on ground floor with easy access. When we got there the room was on 2nd floor (no elevator)in middle of bldg about as far from parking as possible. Clerk could care less and said it couldn’t be changed because it was booked thru hotels.com. If we changed it we had to pay full...

We arrived a little later than expected and had trouble finding the location. The motel is behind a huge row of trees and not visible from the road--we finally spotted the Rodeway sign. That is the only problem with facilities. Staff was mingled, two or three people there but only one working on reception. Ground floor room was handicapped accessible, breakfast was ...

This was the backside of my trip. The staff improved but my room location was far from ideal. My room and elevator shared a wall and it was distractingly, annoyingly bad. I finally turned on the room fan to run all night for white noise and it blocked out most of the humming and dinging. If I hadn't already unpacked I might have asked for a change of room, I had...

The facility was less than expected. Continental breakfast was inadequate. The biggest disappointment, however, was the inability to contact the facility with a question reference late check-in. After 4 attempts I gave up. Calls Avoca went straight to HOLD music, twice!

The hotel looked to be newly renovated, booked a room, checked in, got a ground floor room. Turned on the A/C and the first thing it did NOT blow cold air, the room started filling up with dirty air and "SMOG" and was very difficult to breath. I gave it a little time to clear up but it didn't... I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the front desk and told the clerk...

receptionist had a hard time processing my 3rd party reservation. room had a strong negative odor. was told by receptionist that breakfast closed 930-1000. Breakfast person began shutting down before 9. would only recommend to a friend if expectations were not high.

Clean and quiet place friendly staff. Only issue we had is our door handle was broken and could only be pulled up on. But the staff let us know it was, there was one issue where the door sounded like it latched shut but it didn’t so you could just push it open without the key. But over all it was a good stay.

Was in the area for a NYE celebration and this was the only location within 8 miles of where I would be. Staff was exceptionally nice and as friendly as you would want, especially during the morning breakfast. Nothing much else around here so it's a place that can serve a purpose if needed, as well as being priced right for doing so. Definitely would stay here again if...
