We have nothing but a fabulous review of our stay at Krabi Home Resort. Situated in Tub Kaek beach it is a small quiet part of Krabi - just what we wanted for our getaway. We chanced upon it last minute and had only one night booked as we were moving on to Aonang Beach area. Well we departed for our other hotel and it was so awful that we came straight back to Krabi Home Resort (luckily they had room!) The staff and in particular Chai were so polite and helpful. They happily arranged transport and a a couple of day excursions for us too. The Resort has only been open for 7 months so the rooms were extremely clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant Mamas served such good food as well. 5 star presentation and taste! We were made to feel extremely welcome and were so sad to leave. Will definitely go back there! Thank you for our wonderful stay!

I stayed with my partner & we could not fault a single thing. From the moment we landed in Krabi airport the service was 5 star attention to detail. Even when we returned to Krabi airport to fly home an attendant from Pimalai helped us all the way through to immigration. The grounds and accommodation was stunning, the food was to die for and the people who work there were the most lovely people we've ever met. We ate at Seven Seas & Spice n Rice which are very deserving of their status (the other restaurant was undergoing renovations) We even ordered room service a couple of nights when we were tired - but it was still just as good - the spaghetti bolognaise tasted like it came from Italy - it was beautiful! We went on a island tour organised via the resort and the guys who worked on the boat and took us snorkeling and through the emerald cave were awesome - we felt safe the entire time and having only a small group of 8 felt very personalized. We stayed in a deluxe room for 7 nights and the last night we stayed in a pool villa. The deluxe room was beautiful and comfortable - couldn't fault it. Moving up to the pool villa was another level completely - photos dont do it justice - it definitely feels like celebrity living - absolutely beautiful - only wish we had longer :) every morning breakfast was amazing - anything and everything you could want - the general manager is lovely and most mornings you will see him around greeting guests - he has done a great job with this place. Will definitely be back if we can! Will recommend to all my friends and family :) Thanks guys :)

We LOVED everything about this place. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They spoke excellent English. They were warm and welcoming at check in and every time we walked past. There is an elevator also if needed which after all the hiking and adventures we went on, we were grateful for. The room had the best ac on the whole island and it blew out evenly in the room. We stayed in room 3004, it walked out directly to the pool with a comfy lounge chair and deck. The pool was beautiful! Exactly as pictured, and clean. The whole resort was really clean! The bathroom had no smell and the shower actually got hot. The bed was comfy and the bedding was clean. The breakfast was different every morning and was fantastic. They had a lot of variety with food and beverages. They also have a lunch buffet daily that seemed great for families. But we never tried it. Next door there is Mama Beach Restaurant that had excellent food! French, Thai, Italian, and American food. They also have a bar on the beach that makes some of the best, fresh cocktails I have ever had. I also feel like the maps are deceptive. These properties are so close we thought the beach bar was part of Cliff Beach. We had no problem with the resort not having its own bar since 20 feet from the entrance there was beach bar. The beach was great for swimming. There are several bars, restaurants, shops, and massages within a one minute walk. The pp nice beach massage was our favorite! What's better than a massage on the beach? In my opinion it was more than worth it to get the pool room. We spent our mornings lounging between the pool and the room. We left Koh Phi Phi for Ao Nang and the staff made it so easy. We bought our ferry ticket from the front desk. They had a speed boat pick us up on the beach and taxi us over to the pier. I cannot rave about this hotel enough. We stayed else where prior two other nights in a room similar in price. The two didn't even come close in comparison. This will

Great hotel with a rustic feel to it, not too 'polished' as most resorts tend to be. Rooms are actually bungalows/ huts to yourself, surrounded by coconut trees, ixora shrubs and frangipani. It can be dark at night but they give you a torchlight and umbrellas. Right behind the hotel grounds is a tiny little village where you can get good cheap food, drinks and massages. Very quaint surroundings - reminded me of my childhood in Malay kampungs where you can walk all across the hotel grounds and the village on sandy and grassy footpaths. Just lovely! Note: Don't bother buying longtail boat tickets at KRABI PIER, you easily can buy them easily at TON SAI (PHI PHI) PIER when you get there by ferry from Krabi. We paid 500B at Krabi pier (silly mistake! should have known better) and indeed there was a boat waiting for us at Ton Sai Pier, but we had to pay another 200B once we got to Outrigger. We gave up arguing that we'd already paid. The hotel didn't have anything to do with the cheating touts in Krabi. Apart from that, we loved every bit of our stay at Outrigger. Highly recommended.

Originally I had booked this hotel accidentally not knowing how far it was from Krabi, I was annoyed at myself until we arrived..... It was the best mistake I have ever made! I can honestly say it is one of the most amazing hotels I have and will ever stay in. It is so peaceful and has an amazingly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spectacular and with the panoramic windows you feel as if you're sleeping outside! The food was lovely and so were all the staff! We ended up booking an extra night as we just did not want to leave! I have never left a hotel feeling so relaxed!

This is a great hotel with the best location in Krabi. A true 4+ star hotel. Nice swimming pool; easy access to the beach; great and reasonably priced food well-maintained grounds. The only draw back is that there is no free internet access in the room;, and you have to pay a premium price if you want a cup of latte in the morning. I was there during the busiest season of the year. The hotel was clearly under-staffed and the staff looked really overworked and tired. There was only one person at the reception desk. I had to wait one hour and complain to get internet to work. But, there were gracious to waive the internet charge. The pool bar is rather sad looking and there are no beach towels at the pool. Too bad for a beach resort. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Krabi if you like the beach and appreciate social life and shopping. Great value for money.

If you are Muslim, please bear in mind that the food isn't halal. It's just NO PORK NO LARD. There aren't vegetarian options as well( ONLY FRUITS AND SALADS). Other than that everything else is perfect. Most of the staffs are friendly and helpful, quite accommodative too. Toothbrush and toothpaste isn't provided. Bedroom slippers are available upon request. On the side note-: If you wish to go to Krabi Town, take the bus from the BUS STOP which is just in front of the hotel as it is convenient and cheaper. Recommendations:- *Don't forget to check out the beautiful mosque down the street as it gets lit at night. *Head down to 89.8 cafe for the best breakfast , brunch and dinner or for the best steak ever at Jenna's. Opposite Ava Sea along subway/MacDonald's. (Non Halal, has Vegetarian options) *For the best cocktails in Krabi head down to the street bar just before the Beach in front of the BUS STOP don't forget to try their passionfruit mojito for only 99Baht. Would definitely stay here again as their location is smack in the center.

My boyfriend and I went to Koh Phi Phi from Bangkok with no hotel arranged. Upon a recommendation from someone we met on the Ferry we booked the Princess for 3 nights. The rooms were very big and clean and the infinity pool is spectacular with a great view and very close to the beach. It is a mix of couples, families and solo travellers. It is close to the bars and night parties on the beach, but far enough away that you don't feel overwhelmed by the noise or busy part of the main strip. We ended up booking 2 extra nights at the Princess before heading to Chiang Mai. I would highly recommend the Princess. While you can get cheaper accommodations on the island, if you are looking for a beautiful hotel for a relaxing experience that is close to everything the Princess is the best hotel you can stay at! Totally worth the money. We will definitely come back!

This was our first time traveling in the Krabi / PhiPhi / Railay area and we booked a different night at each hotel. We found a good deal on Rayavadee and decided to splurge for one of the nights. It far exceeded our expectations and it was the best place we've ever stayed in Thailand. The facilities and staff were great, the bungalow felt like a nice house with the room being upstairs, food was good - but the scenery is the best part. It was hard to stay at other hotels after this because nothing else can come close.

Going to Krabi was sort of a last-minute plan that my family came up with, and we chose Centara based on the beautiful pictures and great reviews we viewed on Agoda. And when we got there, everything was even better than we expected. We booked the hotel's shuttle van (Baht/passenger) and a Centara staff member was already waiting for us the moment we cleared immigration. The shuttle van took us to the jetty, which is some 15-20 minutes away from the airport, to board the shuttle boat. There was a little bit of a wait at the jetty, but overall everything went smoothly. When we got to the resort, we were greeted by the front desk staff at the front foyer. Each guest/group was greeted by a different greeter, which made the check-in process very quick and efficient, and we didn't even have to go up to the check-in counter at all since everything was handled by their front desk staff! As Centara is quite a huge resort where you might have to walk a bit to get to your room, buggy service is readily available within the resort for guests that need it. While the service is free, it would be nice to leave your driver a little tip. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a great view facing the ocean. The design is interesting and we could tell that the hotel was very well maintained. There were some minor flaws in the bathroom, but they were still within a very acceptable state. The breakfast was great and the other restaurants serve exceptional food that, in my opinion, is very reasonably priced. The only downside to the resort is that it is rather isolated and it can be quite difficult to get out to town. You will need to book the shuttle boat in advance or you'd have to walk through the monkey trail, which can't be a good option for non animal lovers. The hotel staff are very approachable and helpful. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip and we truly felt like we were in good hands our whole stay at Centara. This is the resort you'd want to pick in Krabi!

Arguably, one of the best hotels in Krabi. The photos do not do the place justice. The hotel was new, modern but still with a bit of Thai ambiance. The room and the bathroom were big, even if we only book the cheapest room. View from our room balcony was overwhelming, as you can see the mountains, cliffs and trees beyond the hotel. Breakfast buffet was great as there were a lot of choices. Pool is okay, though, the bigger pool was under maintenance when we were there so we only used the smaller one near the kid's pool. We were not able to use the spa and sauna thou we can access the fitness room which we had to ourselves. Best thing here was the service, the staff were very polite and helpful, they offer free shuttle to the beach as the hotel is a bit far from the beach. Around 10-15 min walk, thought, you would not really feel that it's that far as there are a lot of shops along the street. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if ever I'm in Krabi.

i stayed in glow ao nang krabi for three days. The location of hotel is great, not far from ao nang beach and ao nang center point. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even give you one complimentary drink per customer. This hotel seems to be newly constructed with great interiors, great rooms, great lighting and awesome bathroom. The breakfast in morning(if you opted it during booking) is great and serves different varieties of food. pool area is great. If you are travelling with kids then this is the place to stay, there is a saperate dedicated area where you can chill with your kids. To sum up if you are visiting ao nang book this hotel without any hesitation. i am gonna book this hotel again when i visit krabi.

My partner and I booked this hotel and stayed 5 nights in April this year. This was our second visit to this hotel, having stayed there the previous November/ December. The hotel is, what I believe a prime location. It is close enough to walk to the lively areas, but further enough away to avoid the noise of you would like peace and quiet. There is a bar very close called Carpe Diem which is my favourite and Carlitos not a lot further down. They both have fire shows and serve amazing cocktails! On both of our visits staff have been Very friendly and helpful. There was just one lady who played on her phone instead of serving breakfast leaving you waiting for ages but all the others were great and accommodating. The first time we went we received a free boat trip which was the best boat trip I have ever been on. When we attended in April the trip was not free with your booking but availad to purchase through the hotel. We did this as it was so enjoyable only to find out that it was no way near the same. Instead of being on a large boat where you could walk about, go kayaking etc, we were squashed on to the smallest long tail boat that looked like it was falling to bits. On s number of occasions the guys running it had to take out the starter motor to try and repair it! I would not go on this trip again and I am disappointed the hotel sold it to us as the exact same trip! The rooms were clean. I had read reviews before about bed bugs but on both occasions I did not see any at all. The air conditioning worked well. The rooms were clean and the cleaners were great and accommodating. We were provided with clean towels, fresh bottled water and more toilet roll daily. The room (bungalow) could do with a touch of modernising but it is not off putting in the slightest. The last time we went they had introduced a system of obtaining a breakfast coupon (only on the morning for that breakfast) and then handing this over. Stayed at this hotel for 4 days and even though it was not along the Ao Nang beach we had no problems getting there everyday as the hotel provides a free shuttle service to Ao Nang beach and back to the hotel every 2 hours. The hotel is located in front of a cliff face and the view is just spectacular, especially from the pool. Being away from the main road, the hotel is quiet and peaceful all day long. Our room was clean, spacious and well furnished. We really liked the way the cottages looked and it really felt like we were staying in a nice little village in Krabi. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Pom. She told us where the best beach spots (Phranang Cave) and restaurants (Khua Thura) were and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Even the drivers were great as they would send us to the beach even if it was between the fixed shuttle timings for free. We managed to save quite a bit of money thanks to them. Overall, Ban Sainai is a great place to stay if you're in Krabi. The views are amazing, the surroundings are quiet, the rooms are huge and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The salt water pool is very big and it faces the amazing cliff face which makes it an awesome place to just chill out. We would definitely stay at Ban Sinai again if we are ever in Krabi.

We decided on this hotel after 2 days of reading plenty of bad and good reviews all over the internet. Now after our trip we cannot understand people who wrote bad reviews! We booked standard bungalow at the beginning and upgraded for deluxe on arrival. Standard room is nice but must admit deluxe is much better for minor difference in money. All deluxe rooms are up hill which gives better view to Phi Phi Le. Night bar is open until 2 pm and the music was loud. But to be honest "the sound of jungle" was not much quieter... we managed to be asleep at 12 pm before our heads touched pillows. Food was nice, lots of fruits and national cuisine dishes. But if you expect to find half a kilometer of tables with food a la Radisson you better stay somewhere else). Location is super. Very close to Tonsai town (where two bays meet together). Because every trip around island you have to make by boat it's very important to live next to town where all tour shops, bazaar, cheap food and entertainment. For example, long boat round trip from The Beach Resort hotel is 200 baht per person, from Holiday Inn - min. 1400 baht!!! You can take a boat to go to Maya Beach at Phi Phi Le for 1,200 baht from the hotel... but we personally preferred Monkey Beach with super fine sand and cheeky monkeys (best to take kayak boat from Tonsai Beach.. and plenty of fruits. Keep your mango fruits locked if you want to eat them yourselves!!!). You can swim with black coral sharks 150 m from the hotel beach without paying for the tour! Best snorkel before 9 am! Enjoy!

greeted by friendly staff with a quick and easy check in, once presented with the room we were amazed with the view of the limestone cliffs and wicked pool. the hotel is right the middle of everything that is going on in Aonang. room service was great but a bit difficult to order if English is your first language. mini bar prices were cheaper than mini marts. overall best hotel in Krabi

Hotel staff were very polite & helpful, always smiling & greeting us. Provided all the information we needed. Booked island-hopping trips from hotel which were wayy cheaper than the ones online and those we were offered at from the Airport. Arranged transport to & fro the airport via Hotel, driver was punctual. However we were late upon arrival due to flight delay, he waited for us for 3 hours, poor gentleman! Airport is 30 mins away from the hotel. Strategic location, if you wanna be near the beach. 30 mins ride away via Tuk Tuk from Krabi Town (Night Market). Hotel offered a private van to Krabi Town which was definitely cheaper, 200B per pax for 2 but we declined & wanted to experience riding a Tuk Tuk & booked one outside the hotel for 800B (these guys are always hanging out oustide the hotel area) Lots of shops, massage parlours, spa, minimarts & Halal eateries nearby (for Muslims), all walking distance. Hotel does not provide Halal food so we always eat outside. No big deal, even for breakfast, we bought cereals & milk from the 24hrs minimart. Overall, a pleasant stay/trip! Would love to be back again!

THE best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. We stayed in the treehouse villa. Yes this is a bit of a walk, however the hotel staff offer a tuk tuk which was always there when we needed a ride and takes you immediately. The villa exceeded my expectations with amazing views of the landscapes and some wildlife (mostly squirrels) playing in the treetop. The grounds are stunning and well thought out, so much thought, planning and maintenance would be required to keep it looking so lovely. There is an Asean garden where they grow their own fruit and vegetables for their amazing restaurant De’fish. They even have their own Zipline adventure park, which we tried and was so much fun. The staff are the best, from arrival we knew it would be next level hospitality. So helpful and very good English. 24/7 they are available anything you need. We booked lots of excursions with the hotel and got better deals. If you are going to Krabi, this is the place to be!

We decided to spend songkran down at a beach location, and I had never been to Krabi before. When deciding on a Krabi hotel, I wanted a decent sized resort in a central location, that was right on the beach. Krabi Resort ticked all those boxes. When I arrived, I quickly determined that I had picked the optimal resort for the area as Krabi resort was the most centrally located, and one of only a very few that had direct access to the beach. The reason is the resort is one of the originals for the area, but the over the years it has expanded a lot, meaning you can choose between a lot of accommodation options, eg hotel style rooms, or semi detached rooms, to fully detached villas with their own private pool. The resort itself is large and they drive you to your room after you check in. Facilities include two pool areas (one done like a pirate ship), a fantastic gym, large scale chess board with pieces set up, multiple restaurants, mini golf, bicycles for rent, beach, massage etc.

Me and my wife came to this hotel after a big room in a hotel in Krabi. We booked the superior garden room because we thought the windows look to a jungle outside the hotel. We arrived at around 11, it was a hot day. They told us the room will be ready at 2 so we started exploring the island a bit. It was a hot day so by the time we returned to receive the room we were exhausted, we wanted to relax in a chilled room. They took us to the room on the 2nd floor with a huge tinted glass door spreading the entire wall. The glass wall was looking into the hotels garden. We didnt have a private porch, anyone who passed there could see us (thats the feeling we got). The room was very small (30meters), we somehow missed it. There was barely a room for to open the suitcases. We took a shower and after an hour we noticed that the AC doesnt really work, it works as a fan. We were dissatisfied and thought that our 5 days are ruined. We called the reception and after 5 minutes they changed our room to a ground floor room near the pool. The room was much bigger, the AC worked fine and we had a boost to our mood. To sum it up, read all the info of the room you are booking, there are some very small rooms there and there are even 2 story villas. The breakfast was good, the same as in all hotels we booked, included eggs, meat, Thai food, juices, fruits, other baked desserts. The pool is great, it eother is heated by the hotel or by the sun, but in the evening it is warm, we even swam in the rain and it was great. The staff is very nice. No problems withthe WiFi.

the best hotel. All the staff are great n friendly very welcoming too. Ms Kai was the first Sugar Marina staff whom attended to us, couldnt remember when was the first time then. Her friendlinest and warmth has made us come back for the 2nd time and so on through our 3rd and 4th stay. There was a thoughts to change and try out other hotel in Krabi but our heart still fall for Sugar Marina Cliffhanger and ended up we chose to stay here again. Last month we went to Phuket and stayed at Sugar Marina Nautical in Kata beach. it was nice too. My partner and me love our stay there in Phuket, but we still love and njoy more in Sugar Marina in Krabi. We just love Krabi so much. I would given a 5 star if the TV is working (though Hotel Staffs explain the fault is at the service provider). My room is facing an under-construction building but does not really bother; we spend the days on snorkeling / island hopping and around Krabi. Hotel staffs are friendly and polite throughout my stay. Halal restaurant is within reach. Hotel is located somewhere it is easy access to Aonang beach and Muslim street, eitherway is 10mins walk. I will definitely return to Bluesotel if i visit Krabi in future.

The pool is beautiful and is better than it looks in the photos. The standard room had great air conditioning. The location was perfect if you want to relax but also just a short walk from all the nightlife the island has to offer. But the reason why they are truly amazing was the service. Every staff member was incredibly nice and helpful, especially the manager at the front desk. I left a bag at the airport in Krabi and they were able to get it sent out to the hotel in Koh Phi Phi. It was a difficult situation because of langauage barriers with the airport and airline but the manager helped me communicate the situation when needed and set it up so it was delivered in about 8 hours. I really can’t thank her enough.

Location, Value + a great Spa are the outstanding features of this hotel. Our first impression was somewhat spoilt by the fact some building work was happening so the front of the hotel was a bit untidy. Check In was quick and efficient. During our stay the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. The room lack hanging or shelving for clothes and bags. The towels were a bit threadbare and I felt the aircon could have been better. It was very hot in Krabi and we had to leave the aircon on so our room would be sufficiently cool when coming back in the afternoon. Our room was facing the west which got the afternoon sun. However everything else in the room was good with the usual safe, tv, fridge etc. A nice touch is that they supplied some spa products for the guests to try. The bath in the room is strange but was it was okay. We used it for our dirty clothes and hanging things on. The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the spa. I had two treatments and they were both excellent and good value. As mentioned the hotel location was excellent. In the middle of town so next to restaurants, shopping and the main attraction across a small access road to the beach. The hotel also had a tour booth and could organise transfers etc. There are a lot of accommodation choices in Krabi and you could get cheaper elsewhere but the hotel was nicely furnished and the staff were good. The pool runs thru the hotel and is long and narrow. A bit warm but so was the sea as it was very hot. There was also another pool up the stairs and this was more private. We had a nice night swim and drink one night and had the pool to ourselves. We have stayed at another more expensive hotel in krabi and would stay again at Phra Nang as stated in the intro location, value and spa were top notch. Will recommend this hotel to my friends.

The Klong Muang area and The Pelican Residence & Suites Krabi are both fabulous. The reviews made it sound like it was in the middle of no where with nothing to do. The beach is dotted with charming open air beach bars and super friendly workers. It was an easy cab ride to Ao Nang. All of the staff at The Pelican were very nice . The free breakfast was great. We were there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave when the time came. We rented a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool and a sea view. Well worth the money, and it really wasn't all that expensive. We would pay the same at home in the states for an ocean front hotel room, with one room, no kitchen, and no private pool.
