La Rioja Autonomous Community hotels & accommodations
This place was close to Marques de Riscal and after wine tasting, a 25 minute drive to sleep over while in Rioja region.
great location and friendly informative staff, you have to pay for parking but it was safe underground parking. If you book wine tour with hotel you get it 3 euros cheeper. The staff where very helpful with booking taxis and even came out to the taxi and explained where we wanted to go.
only stayed one night however it was pleasant and quiet. loved having a bath and extra big bed. free wifi. parking close by for those with a car although not cheap.
We stopped at logrono en route to Santander. The Zenit is a mud range; reasonably priced hotel and has the advantage of on site free parking. Staff are very helpful and most speak some English. The room was very clean and as we stopped 2 night's was also serviced in the morning. Resturant breakfast was excellent, Continental, very fresh and a wide variety. The only dow...
The small town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada has TWO historic paradors and a beautiful cathedral! What riches! It serves as an important historic location on the pilgrimage path to Santiago de Compostela. We had drinks at the bar in the other, larger parador, which was also a magnificent historic structure, but we chose to stay at Bernardo de Fresneda because the fre...
The hotel had a great breakfast with clean rooms but the location was a little rough!
Pretty nice location! next to old city and there are cafes, supermarket in the another side, of course a wine shop at the opposite to buy vintage Rioja wines. Room is clean with spacious view, toiletries are better than expectation. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in - amazing value for money, the restaurant is to die for and super cute (get the txuleton), amazing location and amazing service! Love this place. Very romantic. Definitley coming back!
A three km riverside walk to Haro for wine tasting makes this a good location. Very small village with two bars so no options for eating out. There does seem to be the possibility of eating in the establishment but not very clear. Internet did drop out but we got them to restore, it was a bit slow too. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom and beautifully furnish...
Very helpful staff, pretty good location near a few wineries in La Rioja. The restaurants near the hotel were also fantastic!!!
My 3rd stay here. Use it when travelling south from Bilbao or Santander ferries as just 2.5 hours driving distance. Basic transport/touring hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Nothing to do nearby unless u drive into Calahorra.
A wonderful family hotel with first class food and cozy romantic atmosphere close to historic places and ski area . Very recommendable for people who like excellent food and wine (Rioja area).
the beds were too small and very fragile,we ended up not sleeping there becouse of that.
Lovely retro building - clean & comfortable with fantastic staff - great location in this beautiful friendly town.
Lovely pension and great value. We had our own attached bathroom which was functional but very small, but was still very cheap. Would warmly recommend this budget place.
Although the hotel might have been in use for several years, the room and hotel facilities still looked very new and well maintained. The breakfast was very good and comprehensive. The owner, Irene, was polite and helpful in providing tour information. We felt we were staying in own resort home. Strongly recommended.
If there was a quality standard for those Albergues on the Camino, well they should just copy this place. Perfect staff, facilities and location.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean dorms and an excellent Pilgrim dinner.Only thing missing is a guest kitchen for self catering. Highly recommemded
We had a car problem while at the hotel and Veronica was amazing ...she went above and beyond what she had to do for us. The hotel is gorgeous and very unique. The view fromvthe balcony was awesome and we had everything we needed. There is plenty to see right on your doorstep and a short walk into the local town brings you to a square with lovely bars and cafes. Great ...
Hotel's building is very unique. Surrounding is also beautiful (mountains and vineyards). The small town was very quiet and there was not much to do other than walking/hiking in the neighbourhood. Main sighseeings are two monasteries including the hotel's building. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. It was good to have free wifi in the room. Minibar wasn't...
We only stayed in Logronos one night, but I wish we had stayed longer. In my opinion the hotel was 4 star. It was fairly new, very clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and there was paid parking available. It was also in walking distance of all the cafes and restaurants. I would stay here again if I returned and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Greeted by owner of the B&B who was extremely helpful in recommending activities and places in Ezcaray! Even provided bike rental. Very suitable for families, even with young children as there are connecting rooms available.
We very much enjoyed our one night stay in Hotel Villa de Abalos. Comfortable room and an excellent meal.
The reception ( if we can call it reception ) was by a very unpolite man. The place is old, small, expensive, with an old shared batroom. I can't say any good words about this place.
even it was shared bathroom but it was very clean. the room was good to rest.
Buena localizacion y tranquilidad.
Cosy Hotel, friendly and welcoming. Nice lounge area, room (mine was Chia) small, quiet but very well equipped and no views. Comfy bed, large storage, large double wardrobe, two bed side tables and well lite general. Good sized powerful shower and large basin but limited leg room on toilet, taller people may have to sit side saddle. Restaurant nice, food simple but goo...
