alpine is a great golf resort,it has everything you need for your stay if your a golfer. the golf course is in super condition and has some wonderful holes,its fun to play and not so easy. there is a swimming pool,fitness centre,snooker room and food is great also cheap. its great value for money its quite far from chiang mai,taxi cost around so best to hire car or moterbike

Great great great!!! The hotel is very new. Thai Northern style building very pretty. Nice spacious room with bathtub in the middle ^^ (honeymoon kind of room). All quality facilities like nice bed, pillow ,TV+global cable, WIFI , hairdryer , amenities, etc. Staffs are so friendly. great location almost center of Lamphun town close to all attractions. they have coffee shop as well. Yummy breakfast. just small corner but lots of selections and more than enough. Very Clean. For me, I will go back there again. They have 6 rooms suitable for small group or family or honeymooner too. Highly recommend. Very Impressed. THank you So much

I liked the location:. Google Maps makes it look like it's on an empty highway, but in fact it's near a little market center with an excellent cafe and a lovely bridge over the river. The room is fine . Aircon, WiFi, mattress all good, doors and windows properly lockable. The bathroom is new and tiled, but the shower taps are a little sketchy. I felt the hotel was a touch over-priced, given that Lamphun is such a very small town, but I'd definitely stay there again. NOTE: Lamphun is so small that there are no taxis or tuktuks; only motorbikes! So if you aren't coming by car, and you have more than one bag, you might wish to make arrangements with the staff for transport.

This hotel is probably the best in Lamphun. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the air conditioning is nice a cold (though you can adjust it to your liking, of course). Also, the pool is cleaned daily and a relaxing swim in the afternoon was a wonderful respite before heading back to the room and watching tv. One evening we ordered room service and the food was excellent. Chicken steak was nicely done and the mushroom sauce was rich and tasty, and it came with hot crispy french fries and a side salad. We also had a seafood salad which was excellent, too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lamphun, which is really cute version of Chiang Mai because it has a moat, but two to three days should be enough in Lamphun...then head to Lampang which is a lot more interesting and fun!

Good atmosphere and cozy with the fishes in a big pond and nature in the resort. We spent a lot of time for taking a photo with the lovely garden and nice farm. A lady manager is very friendly and warm welcome. The room decoration is pretty good, but the lights in the room needs to be improved. A lamp in the middle of the room was too dark and should provide some light above the mirror in the room. Slippers provided in the bathroom was too small. The fridge was very noisy and woke me up during the night, however the noise was gone after I unplugged it.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Place was quiet - we had a good sleep. There was a table with two chairs outside the room for a relaxing rest in the garden. Tea and instant coffee was free. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They lent us bicycles for exploring Lamphun. They picked us up at the railway station when we arrived in Lamphun by train and gave us a lift to the bus after our two days in Lamphun.

Absolutely loved my stay at Pickbaan. Amazing location, sweet cafe, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast that is different every day, free bike hire, gorgeous comfortable renovated Thai house. Close to the night market and main street. The owners upgraded my room for free as they were renovating! And then took me to the train station and helped me to buy a ticket... So kind! Beautiful people, beautiful place. Recommend!!

I stayed for four nights. The room was huge, and clean, and normal. It is not the Hilton. But it was just fine. Everything worked, like the hot water, the air conditioning, and the fridge. The custodian of the place was helpful and friendly. The Medieval internet connection worked, and was free. The hotel was also extremely quiet. Getting a map of Lamphun was impossible when you are there, and so bring one with you. This hotel is located outside town next to the hospital. There is a 7-11 very close (30 second walk). Town was a ten minute walk. There were no tuk-tuks, but you can catch a samlor or a taxi at the hospital across the street from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay. It is a budget hotel, no frills, a little aged, but just fine.

We stayed at the Phaya Inn one night for a short stay in Lamphun. The inn was a short( 1 km) walk from the major temple in town and maybe .5 km from town itself. The surroundings were very quiet and tranquil. Our room was large, extremely clean and very comfortable. Many amenities for the amazing low price. A balcony with seating, large comfortable bath, etc. The lobby area was lovely with seating and open walls to view the grounds. Breakfast was included and was either eggs and toast or a Thai rice soup. The only disappointment was no coffee- only Nescafe or tea. Considering the very reasonable price and fact that most of the clientele was Asian this is understandable. The owner, Kit, spent years in the states and speaks perfect English. She was very warm, helpful and even gave us a ride to town to catch a van to Chiang Mai. She arranged the van for us at the stop too as our Thai was rudimentary. This place was a charmer.

We enjoyed our weekend at this resort with their special summer rates. The hotel rooms are large with beautiful views from the balconies. The golf course is stunning with a lot of water. A special thank you to the lovely Noi (not sure how to spell it). She is a staff member there and went out of her way to make sure our group of eight was happy in every way. She was professional and friendly and spoke perfect English. She deserves a big thank you from management as she is a large part of why we had a good time and why we will be back. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was very good. The pool was nice. All in all I highly recommend this resort.

Erm there's no way this place is four-star. It's in a beautiful location but doesn't really seem set up to receive guests. For example, the rooms have balconies overlooking the river but no chairs on them, which sort of ruins the point. The restaurant shuts at 6. None of the staff in the restaurant speaks English and there are no menus, so when I went for breakfast the girls just giggled and ran away although I tried to ask them a question in Thai. Eventually they googled a picture of fried rice and just made me that (and it was fine). The water in the shower couldn't hold consistent pressure or temperature and at one point the water just totally cut off. They were doing all kinds of building work so there was hammering and drilling the whole time. On the plus side there's free bike hire, which you need because it's 3kms out of town. Overall it's just not worth 900 baht a night - I was pretty annoyed because this place is listed on agoda with four stars and I thought I'd be getting something a lot better quality for that price.
