Languedoc-Roussillon hotels & accommodations

nice hotel outside of Montpellier with designer furniture (nice but not of really high quality) and AC was broken. I did not like, that the sheets are too short and leave the bed at night time and that the service maid regrets to change 3 medium towels without demanding 6 EUR. Up to now I could not find out why they charged 4 € extra in cash for any local tax without a...

We had room #17 at the very end of the building. First we were given a wrong WIFI password so had to go back to front desk at 11pm. We were able to connect but got a very weak signal that was loosing connection every minute or so. Signal was perfect in the lobby though. It is not admissible nowadays that a professional organisation such as Appart Hôtels save a few lous...

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Appart City Nimes Arenes. It is in a superb position, jus 200 metres from train and bus stations, in an elegant historic building with a stunning outlook and easy access to shops and restaurants. When a problem became apparent with our room, we were immediately offered the option of two others, and we were totally satisfied wi...

Really good value for money. Cute and comfortable room. Clean. Awesome location in front of the train station and walking distance to all places in the city. We love it. The staff were also really pleasant and friendly friendly and help to answer all our question. Also good sound proof we couldn’t hear a thing!

This is an ideal self catering budget hotel for people who are visiting the amazing Roman and Medieval antiquities this part of the world has to offer. You need a car as it is far from the city centre, but there is a 'tram bus' nearby to take you into the historic part of the town. These are very frequent (every 10-15 minutes) and reasonably priced. The rooms are small...

we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the rooms were clean and delicate, but the rooms were very thin so we could hear every word the noisy, drunk couple in the next room were saying. for my part, my ear plugs took care of that problem. the room also didnt have a minibar fridge som we couldnt keep our refreshmenst cold. however the room had a kettle and some tea and i...

Very nice hotel, nice staff too. Easy to reach from the train station by tram, or on foot (yes, even with luggage as long as you have wheeled cases). The pool area and terrace on the 8th floor is nice, and it makes a lovely breakfast room. Breakfast is very, very expensive at 26 euro. Or croissant and coffee and juice for 13. Very good quality though. We would st...

We were on a road trip to Carcassonne and the hotel is well located near the main highway and have lots of free parking inside their gated area. The supermarket across the road is nice, and the staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English. The restaurant was great for dinner and they have a salad and dessert buffet. Room was clean and comfortable. Its a 40 min...

I didn't know when I booked, but this is a no-service hotel. There is no room cleaning (unless you ask and pay for it). The room had a comfortable bed, but otherwise bare-bones -- there wasn't a small chair, a tiny desk, a water heater (but no tea or coffee!). Sparingly staffed, but the few attendant staff were friendly and helpful. It's biggest plus is its locati...

This room was clean and close to the airport. Since we had a 6 am departure, it was best to sleep nearby. The room is very small only a bit bigger than the bed. Where to put the second suitcase is a question. The bed was clean and comfy, as was the bathroom (with bathtub!). 3 nearby choices for food, all mediocre and pricey. Silly that the cab ride to the airport Depar...

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel - it's very French in its design and obviously history. Loved the cute balcony in our room. You can't beat the location, it's right next to Place de la Comédie, in the middle of town and inside the car free zone - be aware though, there's still cars around. We caught a taxi when arriving at the train station - not worth it unl...

When we checked in, the hotel were going through some issues having our room ready. Front of house managed this well though and sent us upstairs to have a drink which was for FREE due to our inconvenience - thank you. They also took our bags straight away and said they would let us know when the room was ready. We waited a while though with no communication so had to l...
Cheap places to stay in Languedoc-Roussillon

The hotel was a bit out of the way and cost €25 in a cab from Montpellier Saint-Roach. There was not a lot to do in the surrounding area but it was definitely worth the money for a short stay. Most of the staff were very kind and helped us with directions in good detail. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. The room was clean and well decorated however the bath...

The room smell fresh, and with 2 basins, 2 little tables inside the room. Entrance to the room with pin code which is a plus (get rid of the troublesome key). Bathrooms and toilet are fresh too. It is however a little distance from the Nimes centre, two bus lines running through the area, it works well.

this a basic no frills hotel, spotlessly clean, quiet, great value continental style breakfast for 3.50 euro camel the manager is excellent the downside it is about 2 miles from the old city situated on a major dual carriage way - it is not on a bus route - you will have to walk about a mile to reach a bus route -this is the only downside unless you have your own tranp...

The place is big with 2 rooms. Very clean and neat with good enough kitchen facilities. Very near city center and places of interest. About 10-15 minutes drive. The elevated front porch night view of Le Citie is breath-taking! The garden does need some keeping though, however, it could be deem as fully natural and rustic to some. Check in early before 7pm, or othe...

I was stayed for triple room one queen bed and upper deck bed. Room was very small and feel like Japan hotel. Coundn't open my 2 baggage carries. I did put it out at room and open one by one In additionally, upper deck blacket has problem. Maybe it didn't wash recently. My kid and wife skin change red and popup after touch. Location for go to mompelier airport was good...

We went with friends and booked 2 rooms. The rooms were compact, but more than sufficient for an overnight stay, and clean. We asked if the hotel could book us a taxi to the Cite and they secured us one at a very good price (it was more expensive when we found our own taxi for the return trip to the hotel). There was a simple but plentiful breakfast with good quality...

My fault for not noticing this is a motel before booking. The location is quite far from center so if you're not driving, don't think about it. That was my first motel experience but I would say it is quite clean and decent for a motel. Fine for a night or two but would not consider it again.

I would not recommend Le Fonserane Apartments as 1) the bed was very hard and uncomfortable 2) the sheets had holes in them 4) the pillows were old and very thin 5) the air conditioning did not work 6) I got very little sleep with window open and in uncomfortable bed

We stayed at these apartments on 18th August till August 20th. Booking ref 212711499. It included breakfast. We were told we had to pay 40 Euros for breakfast. When we checked in again on our return to Beziers our booking 197-3899368 it included breakfast and we asked about the extra charge for breakfast and they told us we only had to pay a couple of Euros fo...

This hotel is a motel... Out of town near the freeway and out the back of a shopping centre car park. If all you need is a bed, then it's fine but if you want something more than a bathroom that looks like it came from a boeing 747 then this is not for you

We loved the Empire Hotel, there is so much care from the staff. You step out onto the leafy streets of Nimes and all the attractions are walking distance from the hotel. The internet is advertised as public areas only but we got some signal in our room. The owners are mad foodies and it shows through the breakfast you are given. Close by are shops, Supermarkets and r...

this friendly bed and breakfast hotel provided basic accommodation in a location within a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. the room was clean and basically furnished and the shared toilet would have been an okay feature if it weren't for the thin walls and it's location just outside the door about 2.5 metres from the bed. there is no ac and no fan which...

Hotel Central is a small hotel not far from the train station. You can walk there easily. A bit hard to find the first time, but after that it's ok. Hotel is on the main street not far from the shopping streets. A big supermarket nearby. Room is quite nice. Small but clean and quite new. Nice bathroom. TV in room. Staffs are really nice and helpful.

We were driving and found it difficult to find. There are many one way streets so even when you know where it is, it's difficult to get to. Once you get there, the location is fantastic. The guy on the desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful.

It is a very nice resort for the people love quiet location and beach. The buildings are equipped with very nice spa and swimming facilities. The hotel is next to an open beach and a number of nice restaurants next to the beach, only 3 minutes walk. The room is very big and clean. We had a room with a balcony facing the park nearby, very quiet. The staff were very frie...

We overall loved the hotel. We enjoyed the heated pool opened till midnight, nice gym and beautiful garden. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were bright, design is authentic. Staying in a historical Villa was a fun and exciting experience. Location is perfect, a couple minutes walk away from all the restaurants and tourist attractions. Plenty of shops are also open un...

Centrally located, in the center of town. The hotel is near to the shopping area, and market. It's a good value for money. The problems with this hotel. First, it's very difficult to get to the hotel, hard to fin, and the street is very small. Second is the parking, it's a public parking, which is not close to the hotel.

The Hotel is new, but has attempted well to fit in with its rustic veneer. Only 100m to the Fortress. But still close enough to enjoy a stroll across the Aude to the city and Midi Canal. Hotel situated on a hill at the Fortress entrance with views to the village and beyond. Fields behind are heritage listed too. There's an old wooden catapult and apparently cerami...

Saw reviews raving about the pool and the breakfast, both of which were underwhelming. The pool is for some reason situated right in the middle of the dining room, meaning it's closed any time the restaurant is open. Want an evening swim? Too bad, dinner is on so pool is closed. Breakfast was also sparse and expensive, with most of the food looking like it had been sit...

Almost all the hotels were fully booked in Avignon and we found Chateau de Varenne on Agoda. It was comparatively less expensive than the others and the room was lovely, very warm feeling just like home. However, the breakfast was not included and it was 19eur per head with only some bread, hot chocolate or coffee. I would not recommend to have breakfast although t...

Value for money was excellent. The service was excellent, particularly since we had a young, challenging, busy toddler. The garden area (and ducks) is lovely, and there's a small park with kids playground next to the hotel which is great. I don't really care much for jacuzzis, but it was a nice touch! The room (family) was very spacious.

I extended my stay here. Patrick, the host, is knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful, even providing me with a road-map atlas and suggestions on where to go. Breakfast each day was fresh and tasty, our en-suite room was comfortable and spotless.. wonderful view of the old city from the terrace at evening, and the river and park across the street are peacefu...

Staff recommended a restaurant called Moulin d'Olive - fantastic food and great organic wine & superb value. Their dessert table is to-die-for! Hotel is located out of Avignon city centre so surroundings are quieter. Villeneuve was where the papal folks used to live to have some peace & quiet. Hotel's original name is La Magnenaraie & there was no Best Western in the ...

I enjoyed it but I definitely wouldn't rate the rooms 4 Star, especially the bath rooms. The staff were good and the restaurant was nice but it tries way too hard and is very overpriced. Breakfast was ok but not great. I did enjoy my stay though, Colliere is gorgeous!
Luxury hotels in Languedoc-Roussillon

A lovely break, one night only, but superb. An excellent hotel, very very comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and wonderful food. My only critical comment and its a small criticism, is that the little lounge we sat in before dinner could have been made even more charming. The staff are excellent, very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good, dinner wonderful. wo...
