1. Location near train station is good for trains and to get on the hop on hop off tour buses. Downside is the area is not so nice for restaurants and bars as at nighttime you don't really want to be wandering around near the train station. 2. Hotel bar Is a rooftop bar - as I didn't want to go wandering around outside the hotel in the evening this really made up for it. 3. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice. 4. No iron or ironing board in room. Only one elevator - I gave up in the end and used the stairs. 5. Wifi connection is good. 6. Hotel staff. I've saved the best for last. These guys are professional and friendly and at the same time. They should hire these guys for a hotel training school as I've never come across customer service of such a high level before. I am taking the time to mention: A). Reception staff. Friendly and professional. Real 5 star professionals. Made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the hotel and the tours. Arranged everything for me. They simply couldn't do enough for me. B). Breakfast room staff. Friendly and professional. I was a solo traveler but these guys made me feel like I was in their home making sure I was well looked after. C). Bar staff. Friendly and professional. Again being a solo traveler they made me feel welcome when I was in the bar on my own.

We were a couple that stayed here 4 nights in October. The location was perfect. All major attractions are within walking distance and only a 10 minute walk to the Termini. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They gave great advice on restaurants and directions around the city. They lent us a phone charger since ours from the US was not compatible. The room was very modern and very comfortable. The stocked mini fridge is no additional cost. The breakfast was great. A great mix of hot and cold with hot espresso served. The best by far of all of the hotels we stayed at throughout out Italy trip. We will definitely stay here again. 5 Star Hotel all the way.

This hotel was exactly what I needed to serve as a home base for a few days of traveling in Rome. I stayed here solo and felt safe walking the short walk from Termini to this hotel (only about 3 minutes). It is a great spot to see the city from! I could get to any of the sites within 20-30 minutes. The front desk staff was welcoming and I enjoyed chatting with the staff who manage breakfast in the morning! The rooms are small but honestly perfect for the traveler who is set out on seeing the city! The restaurant next door Culinaria is SUPERB. Book dinner there and you will not regret it. Even the Bengali gentlemen who runs the newspaper stand around the corner was nice, and wished me farewell as I headed to Termini on my way to Milan! My ONLY complaint concerned the housekeeping staff - as I was once in my room as a staff member barged in without knocking looking for a folder they might've left behind. Please knock! I was just reading a book but still. Otherwise amazing!

Modern 4 star hotel near Termini with high standard rooms. Everything is great but the only downside is staff behavior. Receptionist crumpled a wrong printout of my request in a rude manner. Restaurant attendant looked at me from head to toe as I was wearing a t-shirt upon entering when there were others in typical tourist outfits as well. Menu wasn't given to us. Staff needs to be trained to smile.

Our one night stay was extremely satisfactory. Counter staff was great and the room was really nice and comfortable. Only problem we faced was that we had to pay extra because we thought check out was till 00:00hrs which was stated in the agoda website. We specifically booked the hotel because the check out was till 00:00hrs and we had an evening flight to catch. Our fault that we didn't check with the staff upon the check in and during the stay. Must be more specific about the check out timings in the website so that mistakes like this won't happen again.

The hotel may not be located in the greatest part of the city but it is a very central location with the the train station to the airport across the road from the hotel. I had booked a junior suite for my stay which was satisfactory, although the floor was neither carpet nor wooden flooring but a strange black plastic material which was the softest thing I had ever walked on. The room was clean, bathroom and tub were amazing, view not so and neither was the noise at 6am from the restaurants and bars on the neighbouring streets all having their bins collected. Breakfast was also served as a buffet style as I have found in other Radisson hotels but the restaurant in which it is served cannot be matches by their other chains, top floor overlooking the city of Rome with the rooftop pool teasing you to take a dip, its a shame the temperature did not permit but it was great non the less. All of the staff I came across were friendly and polite, from reception to room service and restaurant to housekeeping. All greeted me in Italian and politely smiled as I attempted to also speak in their mother tongue. If you cannot speak Italian like myself then fear not as the vast majority of the staff on site do, however I did always try and speak in Italian but would be given my response in English, I think this again was their polite way of saying my Italian is quite up to par. I had gone to Rome with my girlfriend of 6 years to finally propose and on the second day of being here the occasion must have got to me as I requested a room upgrade from reception. Note online bookings only show the junior suite but their is also a master and the presidential suite. 1 of the 2 presidential suites were available and I duly asked to view the room which to describe is simply amazing. A separate lounge which was as big as the junior suite I had just come from with big screen TV, comfy sofas, ps4, dining area and a separate seating area with built in wall speakers to listen to your music th

My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Rome Times Hotel. I searched endlessly online to find a hotel in our budget that was a short walk from many iconic Rome locations and museums, and had a breakfast option. The modern look and feel was also important to me. I was pleasantly surprised to find our room had a king bed and rain shower in the bathroom. I've stayed in other European hotels that were not up to date. Rome Times Hotel staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect- made to order cappuccinos (I take mine with soy milk which was available) and a large buffet of fruit, pastries, meat and cheese, oatmeal, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh juices. You always take a chance when booking a hotel in a new city. Having the Rome Times Hotel as our home base every day as we explored Rome really made our first visit to Italy more enjoyable and comfortable.

Incredibly stunning hotel in a great location. This hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all sights, you can walk to the Trevi Fountain and the colosseum in less than 15 minutes. There was no need to use any public transport other than when we took the cab to the Vatican. The hotel is less than 2 years old and everything is new and fairly sparkly, it has a lovely roof terrace with a great view. The service is outstanding and this is worthy of a five star hotel and is a great hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, we made a great choice staying at the Rome Glam Hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here! Location is a bit far from most of the tourist attractions but conveniently close to the subway. Lots of great places to eat around here and hotel staff were more than happy to suggest places to eat. Had the BEST gelato EVER right down the street from the hotel. Breakfast in the mornings are wonderful with lots of different selection of cheeses and pastries. The only minor inconvenience is that there was construction going on across the street and it was very loud in the mornings. Otherwise, will recommend to others and will book again!

This hotel was the BEST find in Rome. I stayed here with my parents for 5 nights while vacationing to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, The excellent customer service started before our arrival. I communicated with the hotel via email in advance and they were able to took all of our dinners in advance, provided the best advice about how to reach the hotel from the train station and were very attentive to my concerns. Upon checking in, the hotel staff congratulated my parents for their anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice bottle of champagne in their suite. The PROS: The rooms are extremely clean, the decor is modern and the beds are comfy so one can get great sleep. Its also quiet on the floors and the bathrooms have a nice sized bathtub. The breakfast buffet is delicious offering a large selection The CONS: The bathroom door is opaque glass so not much privacy, the restroom is a bit small but manageable. Overall, no biggies to discount stars.

Hotel Diana Roma Rooftop Garden is THE BEST hotel, ever. When I first arrived in Rome, this is the first hotel which I stayed in, for 4 nights. I wanted to extend my stay here, but they were fully-booked so I had to leave. The views from the rooftop garden of this hotel are simply breathtaking. And that makes up for the not-so-impressive views from some of the bedroom windows. Who cares when you can go up to the rooftop and look over Rome, anyway? The flowers on the rooftop garden smell like perfume. The first time I walked up there, I wondered who's expensive perfume was filling up the environment. Then I realized it was the beautiful flowers! There is a viewing "tower" in the garden which you can climb up (a spiral staircase) and look over the rooftops of Rome! It's beautiful! Belissima! The staff of this hotel has become like my family, really. If you strike up a conversation with any of the staff working on the rooftop garden, you will quickly find a new family member! I love all the staff at Hotel Diana Roma so much, that I honestly missed everyone, when I left! And that's why I wanted to extend, in the first place! For my last days in Italy, I came back to Rome and stayed here again. I got to say goodbye to everyone, and I'm so happy that I did! The rooms are of excellent standard, and you can connect your laptop to the cable wire of the t.v. and you can use their internet connection from there, or if you don't have a laptop, you can use your t.v. to connect to the internet. Flat-screen t.v. You can figure out how to do everything by taking a look at the remote control. The buffet breakfast is a real treat, and all throughout the day you can order food and wine that you like. At nighttime, seagulls float over the rooftop garden like white paper planes with bells attached to them. It's beautiful. A beautiful experience. 100%.

This is a great hotel. Certainly the best part about it is the wonderful staff. They are friendly and professional. Really, they perform their duties on a level that is on par with more expensive hotels. I really appreciated that level of service while I was there. The hotel is located in a lovely quiet area very near the train station. You can easily walk in about seven minutes to the station. From the hotel, I was able to walk to all the areas I wanted to explore - even the Vatican which is on the other side of the river (though that was a bit of a walk). Other areas of interest - like Trevi fountain and the colosseum are closer (maybe 20 to 25 minutes away). There are a few nice restaurants near the hotel, as well. I enjoyed having a late dinner each night and then being able to get back to the hotel in a couple of minutes.

This hotel was simply wonderful. Just returned from a surprise long weekend for my husbands birthday and the staff were simply outstanding. Helpful with any questions or niggles and went out of their way to help. The two ladies in the morning were especially outstanding. Even managed to book a last second tour of the colosseum for us when all other tours were sold out. Rooms are clean and swanky - no problems at all. The free mini bar was a bonus and extra bottle of wine and balloons for the birthday was very thoughtful. There was no problem finding a place eat at night, with several pizzerias and trattorias along the side roads. You can easily walk to the main sites from here and is really the best way to see the city. Repubblica station is a 5 minute stroll which takes you easily to further sites including the Spanish steps and the Vatican. Book this hotel without hesitation. You'll fall in love with Rome in no time.

best location in rome. you could find all public transportation such as train, metro, tram and bus station just few blocks away. although the room is a little bit samll, but it is usual. it is almost impossible to find a big room hotel in rome. the breakfast is adequate and the room is clean with comfortatble bed. it will be more attractive and easier for customer to find it if the hotel sign is made bigger.

I have been to rome several times and each time I have been disappointed by the upscale boutique hotels I have stayed at (overpriced tiny rooms). I couldn't contain my delight when I arrived at Rome Style Hotel. When i made the booking, the hotel hadn't opened yet so I was simply expected another tiny room in a good location but new. The location is perfect, in a small street, away from the hustle and bustle but 4 steps out, you are in the middle of the all major sights. The entrance/lobby is simple and well-designed and they efficiently maximized the small space. I was expecting the rooms to be small and well-designed like the lobby but I was majorly surprised! The room was extremely spacious, bigger than the rooms at a lot of 5-star hotels in Rome. Tastefully designed in a modern classic style and my room came with 2 real balconies and ample closet space. The pictures on their website don't do it justice. The rooms are actually much nicer and bigger than the pictures on the website( a phenomenon which is unheard of! it is usually the opposite) And it comes with all the amenities of a high-end boutique hotel (nespresso machine, etro bath products, free mineral water, amazing slippers etc etc). The service is impeccable, especially the front desk concierge manager, Massimiliano, who is so charming and warm and oversaw everything to perfection and made sure that his staff attends to every detail with care. Any hotel would be lucky to have an employee like him! The hotel breakfast is also sumptuous and very generous and the staff is sweet and attentive. I almost didn't want to write this review for selfish reasons so I can keep this gem for myself. it is so nice i actually stayed there 2 times, once in april with my husband and again in may with my mother.

Pros: Excellent location right next to manzoni metro and 10 minutes walk to the colleseum, Comfy big bed with choice of pillows, Plenty of hangers and wardrobe space, Mini fridge, New bathroom with toiletries, power shower and soft big towels Breakfast was gawjus Staff couldn't do enough for you Bar was reasonably priced Cons: It was very cold for the locals so the heating was set to 25 degrees, due to this I was very hot during the night as the air con was turned off due to it being winter. Despite being on floor 6 the noise from the traffic on the road outside was extremely loud and seemed to amplified. Shutting the window and the metal shutter did help with this however then the room was very hot due to previously stated. All in all an excellent hotel and will defiantly be back

Absolutely enjoyed our 2 nights here. They provide Twinnings Tea and coffee (which many hotels in Rome don’t!). They provide a kettle too! I’m extremely thankful for that as we can sip our teas! Plus point: spacious and clean toilet! That’s really important for us. The bed isn’t one of the best, but it’s bigger than expected. Thankful for that too! The room is kind of small. Our luggages were in the way. It wasn’t a problem for us, of course. The staff were friendly and they used the map to explain to us the surroundings as it’s our first time in Rome. Appreciate the kind gesture. Especially to Marco! My hubby really likes your recommendations and your enthusiasm. The lift is kinda small and slow. Well, it’s not really a concern for us. We are cool with the lift. The sauna wasn’t working when we went and we were quite disappointed. The gym is functional. We realised that we don’t need to tap in with our cards to the facilities. Quite puzzled at their level of trust. We didn’t get to try their breakfast, sadly. Would love to the next time we go back. In short, We truly appreciate this modernised hotel after we stayed in other hotels. Then again, if you prefer the romanised kind of hotel, this hotel might not be your cup of tea. It was our best hotel in Rome. Will definitely go back again!

The hotel can't be beat for location. Staff was pleasant and the rooms were very nice. We booked the smallest room (classic) and I would absolutely recommend you book something larger. Our friends had a studio suite and it was huge. By contrast, our room was impossibly small (although attractive) and the bathroom was ridiculously small. We are not large people and couldn't turn around in the shower! Stay here but book the larger rooms!

The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain, a stunning boutique hotel. The hotel is quite Art Deco, the staff are lovely and welcoming, right from the moment arrived to booking a taxi when leaving. Upgraded on arrival to a deluxe so the room was exceptionally spacious, clean tidy and ideal for lounging (if you get chance) after a busy day exploring the city. The breakfast was always fully stocked with a good variety of pastries, cereal, meat and cheeses and a hot selection, and with it being an independent hotel always felt the staff were attentive. The only call out is for any travellers who have walking difficulties as the hotel is at the top of a hill but would definitely recommended and go back.

my husband and i returned to this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary having stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. we were not let down. we opted for a superior room which is a great size and has beautiful antique furniture although with a lcd tv! on unpacking our cases, a bottle of chilled prosecco was delivered to our room - lovely gesture! the reception area is large and also full of antique furniture (a lovely place to chill out after touring the city). the restaurant is situated within an internal courtyard/garden which is simply divine -very relaxing and calm despite being so close to the city centre. a full choice of breakfast is available - from cereal, to fruit, cakes, cooked - no complaints. we dined in the restaurant for dinner one night and was the best meal of our stay (20% discount for hotel guests) and the service is impeccable. the hotel also has 2 computers were internet access is free alternatively wifi available free of charge. there is also a very small gym - never saw it used. the location of the hotel is ideal - approx 5-10 mins walk from the main train station termini - walking distance to all major sights - trevi fountain, spanish steps, colosseum. the metro is within 2 mins walk of the hotel (republica) which we used to visit the vatican (only 1 euro per journey and saved us 2.2 mile walk!). i would definitely return to this hotel again. great value for money - (we paid for 4 nights), beautiful surroundings, decor and quality service.

Room is tidy and clean. The location is good, just walk around 20mins to go every major attractions in the city. If you want me to choose the best things about this hotel, I would like to say the receptionist, Daniela is perfect. She is very kind, talkative and helpful. Especially she offered us a champagne, chocolates as well as late check out service for our honeymoon request. Also, she will suggest you some good restaurant if you want, of course we went there finally. Overall, my husband and I were satisfied this hotel, we will book again next time.

The hotel is really just 8 min walk away from St. Peter's. This allowed me to be way ahead of the crowd who wants to enter St. Peter's. Breakfast was excellent, variety of meat, bread, cereals, fruits, marmalades and some cheese. The facilities are well kept and staff friendly. We paid for a room with a balcony. We were initially given one right in front of a tree sonwe complained. After the complain , we were given in my eyes is the best room in the hotel 608, the corner room with the view of the dome of st. Peter. The only negative point is the deal with the upgrade which stated free water and softdrinks ( this is additional 20 euro for the balcony room and drinks), they actually only provide 1 softdrink and 1 water of bottle per day. I was at least imagining 2 bottles of water and around 3 sodas .

With four children under 12, a central location and first class care and attention are essential. All of my family enjoyed this stay with my four year old wanting to give the Hotel a fifth star! Well kept rooms, an excellent reception and bar and the best breakfast in Rome. We were particularly grateful for the thoughtful way they dealt with our youngest child's Coeliac - offering gluten free options not apparent on the menus. We will certainly return!

This is the best hotel I have stayed during my Europe trip. I stayed here for 4 nights during christmas, i couldnt be happier with everything this hotel provided. Included in the room is huge variety of breakfast buffet, staff is very friendly and helpful. My room is clean, big and very comfortable. It also close to roma termini about 2 mins walk (major terminal where all the intercity train, buses and metro stops) which means we dont have to pay excessive taxi if travelled by train from other city/ country. It is close to supermarket (inside termini), bank and pastry shop. Republicca piazza is less than 10 mins walk and all the the other main tourist attraction like colloseum, roman forum and vatican city can be reached by metro in termini station I couldnt be happier with what the hotel provided and it is the best value for money

We had a good experience at Monti palace. The hotel was clean and in a good area with some great restaurants nearby. I will say this seems more like a 3-3.5/5 star hotel rather than 4. Staff were friendly but weren’t extremely over the top accommodating. Also oddly, we did not have a comforter on the bed until our last night. This was partially fault of our own because we did not ask for this to be provided, I wasn’t sure if it was custom haha.

I was very impressed with the amazing hospitality of Fabrizio (I am sorry if I got your name wrong, he is the front desk staff who checked us in on the 2nd of April), and the room quality of Gioberti Art hotel! I am really delighted by his service. I was looking forward to my return stay on 9th April but I accidentally overlooked and booked Gioberti Hotel instead. I was anxious at first when Elisa told me I did not have a booking for the 9th, she wanted to help me transfer but unfortunately they were fully booked. Thankfully, our room at Gioberti Hotel did not disappoint. I love the comfy and contemporary designed bathroom of Gioberti Art’s Superior room, as well as the spacious bedroom which has a long three seater sofa. A welcome message was flashed on the TV, very thoughtful. I thought we have to pay for bottled mineral water and only found out from its parent Gioberti Hotel that it is complimentary. Perhaps it would be thoughtful to inform guests that bottled water is complimentary. If Gioberti Art bedroom is as modern as Hotel Gioberti, it would be a match made in heaven. I highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I am certainly looking forward to my next stay at Gioberti/Gioberti Art hotel. I won’t look anywhere else to stay when in Rome. Gioberti is my first choice. Even though it is 25mins walk to Trevi Fountain area I don’t mind it. (I hope they upgrade me for my loyalty)

Modern rooms, friendly staff, great location (7 mins to Roma Termini) and complimentary bottles of water! What more can you ask for in a city that requires a bit of walking around! Rooms are clean, modern fittings and good size for both room and bathroom. My wife thinks this is the best hotel we have stayed in Italy (we been to Siena, Portvenere, Florence, Positano). Beds are lovely and you can change the pillows to whatever suits you as well! I would highly recommend any traveller to come here for a stay. I stayed on the 1st floor and no complaints on noise from either guests or traffic. TIP: If you have luggage to move around, best to grab the private car (Mercedes MPV that seats 7) transfer for fixed 50 euros (trip + tips included). Sounds alot but when you consider, (i) the per person train ticket from Roma Termini to Leonardo Da Vinci airport is 14 euros/pax, (ii) taxi drivers will always try to rip you off (I had to pay 20 Euros from Roma Termini to hotel which should cost under 10 euros!), best to get the hotel car.

This is a little gem of a hotel. It doesn't have a gym or a swimming pool, but the cleanliness of the hotel, the superb and friendly staff, the proximity to the airport (but without the noise), and the room price makes this hotel exceptional. The area is a bit run down, but I didn't feel unsafe walking in the area. There's an excellent small pizza restaurant nearby with great pizza and a friendly staff, and other very good restaurants are within a small walking distance and along the Tiber river. The extensive ruins of Ostia Antica (the ruins of Rome's ancient port on the Mediterranean) are nearby, and cheap to get in to and explore, and the ruins are in relatively decent shape. Breakfast is part of the price of the room, and while the hotel didn't have pan fried eggs available they had hard-boiled eggs, with lots of fruit, nice rolls, yogurt, bread and toast, an espresso-cappuccino-cafe Americano coffee maker, several types of sliced meats (but no prosciutto), and several types of cold cereal. Breakfast is from 7 - 10, and since I was leaving at 6:15 the staff gave me a to-go box of cold apple juice and a packaged croissant----very accommodating. The WiFi strength is outstanding, the best I had in Italy. Overall, of the places that I stayed at in Italy on my two week trip this was the best hotel, with decent room prices. This place is highly recommended.
