Traveling to Russia? Find Leningradskaya Oblast hotels

They take care of their apartments very well. So if that's your place, I recommend. Now the bad news... Gosh what a nightmare. I hate the fact that Vyborg is so expensive. There is not enough competition. Prices are twice higher than in St Petersburg. Kitchen is out of date. (They fill it with the *finito* items from the apartments. Staff is very rude. Laundry is free but the washing machine is barely working...and they wash all the floor cleaning mops and the equipment in it every day. Showers are disgusting... some random people go there daily for 50 or 100 roubles (not Hostel customers) EVEN filtered water smells and tastes funny. People get sick because of that, dust and dirt. Housekeepers slack big time. They are in sort of monopoly position right now. Apartments sell like hotcakes. They make GOOD BANK. Unfortunately, they don't give a ** about the Hostel side. Never though I could write a review this bad. I swear I didn't exaggerate.

Good location and wonderful breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very nice and helpful. Though there is no lift, the staff carried our luggage upstairs and downstairs. As I needed a hard bed because of my backache, they removed the mattress and made a bed for me. Everytime we asked the reception desk to call a taxi for us, they wrote down the car number, the color, and the approximate fee. What's more, we had to come back to Moscow for the late-night train, they agreed to let us leave our luggage in their hotel. We were really thankful for that.

I hvae been in pretty much every single hostel in Vyborg. I would recommend this place. Extreamly major point for cleanliness... they really make an effort on that. Room/Mattress/toilets very clean. Wether you choose to stay in the hostel rooms or private ones doesnt matter in the sense that they keep them in good condition. Location... best possible! This review is based more on the hostel room by the way and the name of the place says *Hotel* so i feel funny using the term hostel... anyway the place is very organized, they care about their business, big yard (hang out area) and their own laundry/restourant etc. This is not the cheapest options in Vyborg though (price between ho(s)tels very from 400roubles to 800roubles). In this place i paid 750 roubles (july 2019). Hope this helpes, enjoy Vyborg :)
