Liaoning Province hotels & accommodations

Have tried a number of hotels in Dalian on business trips there, and found Nikko to be right up there with the others. Less expensive than Furama/Shangri-la (but in a similar location) and easier to book a room (and cheaper) than the Kempinski/Swish, I found everything to be great. Room was substantially larger and better-appointed than at the Swish, while also about 1...

service is impeccable! very accessible since it is centrally located. they will set up a router for you if you need wifi in room. however dinning in hotel is pricing and the restauarnts nearby is also not cheap. you'll need to walk a bit for local food with reasonable price. modern and extremely clean. just one minus - there is a huge construction site (guess it is the...

For the price, this was really the best place I've stayed in Asia--and I've done a lot of hotels recently. I had a single suite and my friends had a two-bedroom suite. The rooms had everything that we were looking for in terms of space, and much more than we were looking for in a kitchen/living room/TV options. I've been in many hotels in China, and none offered the am...

There are several things the hotel should improve: 1) No free internet in the room. (almost all other 5 star hotels include free wifi service in room). 2) The small refrigerator was locked and I can't use it during my stay. 3) Tried to make local phone call from my room but not able to. Had to talk to the operator and waited 1/2 hour to get it working.

As a frequent traveler due to work, I have considerable experience in a number of hotels in various countries. This hotel may have been the best stay I have ever had. Service, appearance, facilities were truly impeccable. I have yet to encounter a more outgoing and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

This 5-star hotel is a little dated but still hold its own as a five-star. Very conveniently located in the center of Shenyang. I stayed two nights on a business trip and was satisfied. All the amenities of a 5-star were there and the guests are left happy. The hotel has a German beer bar -- the Paulaner Brauhaus -- which is appropriate as this is a German-run ho...

Possibly the best hotel stay ever. The personal attention and service is unlike anything I've experienced at 5 star hotels all over the world. Absolutely top notch. Rooms are very nice and spacious as well. There are newer and "fancier" hotels in Dalian, but the service is unsurpassed in the Kempinski.

It is located at the heart of Shenyang with few minutes walking away from the subway. The room is absolutely clean, however, there is not sufficient lighting for a business traveler who works at night in the room. The service was awful in this hotel. There was no staff explained how we can go up to different restaurant or rooms in such complex building when check in....

It is very surprise that when we were arrived the hotel, the staff tell us the hotel was full and no room available to us. They had offer another so-call 4 stars hotel near-by to us, but both the hygiene and service were not good. After nearly two hours negotiation and inquiry, they transfer us to another hotel which was requested by me. Luckily the problem was solved....

Sun Moon Lake Hotel, No.1, Xin'an Street, Zhongshan District, Dalian, Liaoning 116001, is located in Dalian City Center, a short walk from both train stations. This hotel is within 6 mi (10 km) of Zhongshan Square, LaoDong Park and Haizhiyun Park. It's close to Cafe Copenhagen, Alice Club, restaurants, shopping, and has great views of the harbour.

Hotels was preparing for summer therefore aircondition was switch to heater mode. Therefore hotel staff suggested we to open the window so that we dont feel stuffy. Also rooms tend to have flies and mosquitoes maybe because I opened the window. Other then this issues, I dont mind coming back to this hotel.

the ibis dalian sanba is a basic yet comfortable hotel. the rooms are a standard size with all the basic amenities but please note there is no safe in the room. there is a safe box at reception which guests can use though. the rooms have a lan connection although it was stated that wifi was available in the rooms. i stayed in a twin bed room and there was enough roo...

overall it's ok. Booked the hotel due to business travel. Location is good, near to our client office. However, waited for quite long at airport for the pick up as i can't find the driver. He waited at the wrong place, despite he is having my flight details. It's a typical international 5stars hotel but services is not up to 5 stars serivce.

This hotel is probably the least shadiest hotel nearest to the Dandong train station. The room (King Suite) they put me in was really clean and big. The gym had the basic exercise equipments. Food at the hotel restaurant was good as well (portion was huge for a small person like me). I had a little bit of trouble trying to locate the entrance but overall, good place to...

I went to Dalian to attend a scientific conference and to my great delight, the convention center was just a couple of minutes walk from this HoJo hotel, which was great! Also wonderful is the location of the Hojo near the "Ornamental Tower (Xinghai) Square, which is a primary tourist attraction. The rooms at the hotel are nice and well kept, breakfast was included in ...

I stayed for 2 days. The check-in and out was fast and fuss free. The price was excellent for a room that big and clean. While the furnishings were a little dated, the room was clean, big and comfortable. In particular, the bed was big, soft and comfortable (it looks bigger than a king size). This is a big plus for me because I really don't like the hard bed in ty...

I do not know how to really rate my stay. Some of the room details were really lacking....no hot water in the shower. no air conditioning in the room (yes the days were hot days), and bath stopper could not be opened. The good-breakfast, clean rooms, good bed. When calling the staff, the mechanic on the air condtioning acted like he did not know what to do.....on...

Location is very good. Walking distance to the main train station. Service staff is courteous and helpful. Walmart is within walking distance. We rolled our luggages to the bus station to take the airport shuttle bus. Its not very near but as we wanted to take our bfast at the 24 hr eatery which was midway, it was more convenient than taking a cab. Bed is comfortable....

If you've stayed in other international hotels in this price range in Dalian, the breakfast here is really pretty underwhelming. Housekeeping ends at 6 PM and air condition during this time ain't turned on for warmer temperatures, which made it quite uncomfortable when the sun was heating up the entire room. Water pressure and kitchenette was good. With a mall connect...

Stayed for one night in the middle of a Shenyang winter. Usually, hotels in places where it gets very cold suffer from hot, dry air in the rooms. This hotel was remarkably comfortable. On top of that, the rooms are bigger and brighter than other Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, with very comfy beds. Decent breakfast with lots of freshly cooked food, and plea...

The stay was extremely good. The price of the serviced apartment was unbelievably good. Size of the room, comfort, cleanliness, style it was all good. It was a place you could actually live if single. The staff had great language skills. They had a 4th floor where you can go to the gym, go swimming, playroom for kids, read books, drink any kinds of coffee (included) pl...

The best deal of all the hotels in Kaifaqu, Dalian, China? A great location, walking distance to Five Colour City, AnSheng Mall, Suning movie theatre, iMall, Street Food Street, Hongmei with Korean restaurants, Wanda with an IMAX theatre, and a short taxi ride to Daheishan or Big Monk Mountain. All the good hotels in Dalian are clean but Citadines was remarkably clean....
Cheap places to stay in Liaoning Province

All beds in dorms have a curtain for extra privacy and the lower bunks have extra space for your big bag to keep it out of the way of others. No personal lockers but it seemed like a safe place. Staff does not speak english very well but are polite and friendly. Location is 10 min walk from aubway station and nearby bus stop can take you to most places of interest. ...

The hotel was good and has good cost performance, but if you have to do anything in Dalian city, you should consider other hotels in Dalian. It was located in other state next to Dalian. It took about 30 min by train. It also took approximately 15 min from the train station by taxi.

About 20 mins by walk from Railway Station, of course, you were also able to get on bus No. 3, which was 3 stops. Got off at "Gong An Ju" stop. It was near to the business center. To room itself, it was clean, nice staff service, low deposit "20 Yuan RMB" when accommodated. but, but, but, Sound insulation in room was too bad, I was waken up by a women happy groan fro...

Positive: 1. Very near the subway (Line 1 Huaiyanmen Station), just in front of Exit A. 2. There are several convenience stores available. 3. Location is good, within walking distance to attraction like Shenyang Imperial Place, Marshal Zhang Xueliang Mansion etc Negative: 1. Front entrance is opposite a rubbish disposal centre. Smell is bad when you are enterin...

We took a bus from Shenyang SK bldg and when we reached Panjin town, the bus driver told us to alight and take a cab to JinJiang Inn, which is abt 10 mins away. In front of the hotel is a public parking lot. The room is clean. We paid separately for the breakfast, which is simple fare. The hotel lobby is quite small area, and the security guard smokes in the area. Need...

I stayed here for one night because I had a train out of Dalian North the next morning. It is clean, comfortable, and great value for the money. The staff also do an excellent job, especially considering they do not speak English. They were very helpful even though we could not really use language to communicate. The only downside is it is far from the city center. T...

the hotel was very clean and the staff was nice enough to help out a foreigner. the location is the best part of the hotel, which is in the downtown of the city, right next to a starbucks and a dunkin' donuts. the room looks just like the photo and for the price i would stay there again. i did not try the meals or any other services, but they looked adequate. not a...

I reserved there through AGODA and paid. But I rejected with no reason and couldn't stay. I have been so frustrated. Even I coudn't know how to calcel and refund. However, AGODA sent me email about assessment..^^ I am soso angry now. I can't stand to blame this hotel and AGODA. You must solve this problem and compensate it for me.

Big problem to check in. They have not the booking. After long waiting and several phonecall we got the room. And after that was everything good. Great location near the beach, lovely view out to the beach and the montain. The breakfast was also very nice. I Like to have kettle in the room. The room was clean.

The hotel is great! Nice and spacious room with everything you need, but not my style of decoration. It's clean and comfortable. The hotel is attached to another hotel and at first is was a bit difficult to find the entrance. Hotel is close to shopping malls/Imax theater, but not at all close to touristic attractions. Taxis are available in front of the hotel, so not a...

The spa and pool facilities were incredibly generous, clean and we had hours of fun there with our two kids (9mos. and 3 years). The breakfast was very tasty and s wide international variety of choices! Unfortunately they had babysitting service advertised on their websites and in the hotel directory but they said they hadn't got this service organised yet. There was a...

I booked this hotel because I wanted to stay in a room overlooking the bridge to the DPRK and I was not disappointed. The room I received had stunning views of the Friendship Bridge and the Broken Bridge, and it even came with binoculars. By Chinese standards, the hotel is a bit expensive, but completely worth it for the view. The room was clean and spacious, and the s...

The time we went was June 18. The location of the room was on the 7th floor. The air conditioning was controlled by the hotel not the guest. The air conditioning therefore really did not work. Also the room was clean but a musty smell often was apparent. Probably due to the wood platform shower mat that was not cleaned on the bottom. For a luxury hotel there were some ...

My family stayed in the hotel during the Chinese New Year. The staff was very nice and gave us an upgrade when we checked in. They also assisted us to change to a different room when we complained about the smell of cigarette smoking. Breakfast was very Chinese and worked for American-Chinese like me, but not for an American like my husband. The hotel is close to ...

Great hotel overall. Will be looking forward to staying here again in the future. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Located right over the best shopping district in Dalian as well as a large park and some fine dinning. If you are looking for a affordable and convinient place to stay as a tourist, I would strongly recommend this hotel as the other hot...

Hotel could not find our booking, service was dreadful. Agodo were great in getting it sorted. A very nice hotel for the tourists of all kinds (family, business or leasure, couples or travellers), which is excellent location and good value for money comparing to others that we checked in the nearby area. Some of Staff do speak english which was helful. It was family friendly, no restrictions for kids to stay and our friends staying in the same hotel were allowed...

I arrived on the 10th and have to add extra bed, the reception is very helpful & let me pay cash RMB100/extra bed though i had already paid Agoda for my twin-bed booking. When i enter the room at 13th floor, the corridor has a door to seperate the rooms fr lift area where commonly china-people smokes. The room are big enough for extra bed and the lightings are goo...

This hotel is located in a beautiful national park. The hotel is enormous with a great spa. Sadly when checking in they could not find my booking. After 30 min the general manager arrived and solved the problem. When checking out the staff refused to book a taxi but just gave me a number to a taxi company. Not very helpful.

I left a bag of clothings in a taxi and the Staff help me contact the taxi driver and got it back for me.angri Food is nice, bed is very comfortable. Very impressed with Shangri-la !

Was taken in by the beautiful pictures and the environment in general. Was thinking in terms of a romantic weekend in the country but that did not happen. No Taxi service available, ore barely, to go into Fusion or Shenyang, especial at...

Highly recommend this hotel, staff bend over backwards to help even though I speak no Chinese. Organised a airport pickup for me (even rang my mum in Australia) to confirm details, breakfast Buffett huge and had plenty of everything. BBC English station and wonderful views over river. You will not be disappointed during your stay here!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was excellent, the service was top-rate, everybody was very friendly and eager to help, and the breakfast was fantastic. Would be even better if more employees spoke English, but this is a minor detail in an overall very nice experience.
