Liguria hotels & accommodations

Comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast. Many of the furnishings and decoration were from the early 20th century, giving the hotel a very different feel from clinically clean in appearance but soulless modern hotels. For lovers of organic food, almost all of the breakfast buffet was organic, with a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, hot and cold drinks, cereals and...

Located near the waterfront, across the road to the cruise terminal and a 2 minute walk to the ferry terminal to Cinque Terra, and about a 20 minute easy walk to the station. We were on the top floor (8th) so the view of the harbour was great. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It also had a bath so it was a real bonus to have that luxury after big days walki...

The hotel location is within walking distance to Genova Piazza Principe. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. There are a lot of taxis near the station which is convenient because there is no Uber in Genoa. The staff in the reception is nice and patiently answered all of our questions. There is a slight problem with our room, which is you can hear something like wate...

We recently booked this trip. My boyfriend proposed whilst we were staying here and the hotel lived up to expectations. As we arrived they take your keys off you to park your car then luggage is delivered to your room. The hotel is modern and very stylish. We used the spa facilities which aren’t massively advertised but should be WOW! They were amazing we used the pool...

We stayed at NH Hotel Genova Marina as a last-minute booking en route to Tuscany. When we arrived the room had been upgraded as there were no executive doubles left. We were not charged for our child - as it was just for a night she slept in the enormous bed with us, and breakfast was included for all three in our booking price. Breakfast was great - a wide selection o...

The hotel room was nice and clean. I was placed in a twin bed room, I would've preferred a double bed. The location of the hotel is very convenient, opposite Brignole station and the Airport shuttle bus stop which departs every 45 minutes. I found the staff to be friendly enough. A couple of blocks away you can walk to some nice bars and restaurant. There's also a lat...

we were met by friendly staff. who were very helpful with maps and bus details. room was adequate but air con was dreadful and was useless. the hotel rooms are quite basic for a four star. the internet was good. the hotel was on a good bus route so was easy to get into town. i would stay again.

King bed, aircon and gym and I'm a happy chappy. Far from Central but it was just a stopover for us. Plenty of parking and nice and quiet. Hotels in Italy seem to control the air conditioning from reception and turn it off between 1am - 7am. Before you check-in mention that they should keep it on overnight as it's very hot in summer...enough for the heat to wake you...

Great staff. Clean. Best location. Good AC. My room was right above the train station platform. Noise wasn’t an issue for me. The parking space I rented though them is right below the train station with a separate metal enclosure with a garage door opener. Very secured and reasonable. Highly recommended

I've spent one night in the hotel with my wife and we totally loved it. The facilities were all five stars. The hotel was kind enough to pride us with swimming goggles since we didn't bring our own and we loved the private beach access ! We were a couple traveling from Kuwait and the staff was welcoming and aware of different countries and cultures.

We got a room upgrade! The hotel was a real 5-star hotel. It looks modern on the outside compared to the neighbouring buildings. The room was huge, so was the bathroom. There is a tiny indoor pool that we used. Staff was also really helpful and helped with printing our boarding passes.

The hotel is located right next to the cruise terminal, close to the old Savona's port. It is part of a modern, steel and glass building complex, in stark contrast with the surrounding facades. It is classified as a 4 stars hotel and, a part for a couple of minor touches (bit of "dirty" walls in the room, a toilet paper holder set upside-down), they are well deserved. ...

This is a beautiful little apartments set in the heart of Riomaggiore. It has its own little balcony which is perfect for having a drink on and watching life go by. It is in a quiet little lane only twenty metres from the main street. Only negative is bathroom is very small with low ceiling and lots of opportunities to bang your head.

Overall pleasent stay. Near to train station but a bit distance to Monterosso commercial area. Comfort and clean room/toilet. Hotel staff made a mistake double charge me but get refund and room arrangement a bit messy nearly cause me need to move to orher place for room. Overall is excellent beside of human error

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days and really satisfied with this choice. The hotel is a bit old but clean and equipped with all necessaries. 10 min walk from the beach, the price includes also 1 ombrellone +2 sdraio, has the great swimming pool. There is a supermarket in 5 min walk and a good restaurant just in 2 min. The stuff is friendly and ready to help. Definite...

my husband and i (newly married) went to portofino for an unplanned and impromptu honeymoon. we had not booked ahead and i found eight hotel on my ipad at the agoda site while we drove to the coast. based on some pretty good reviews we chose to stay at the eight hotel and wow! we could not have made a better choice! as soon as the staff saw our copious luggage (weddin...

Very good value, clean, good location. Walking distance to Cruise Terminal (10 mis). Our rate did not include breakfast, but for a 6.50 Euro it can be purchased. We had "American Coffee" and it was wonderful, the best I have ever had, and the rest of the breakfast was good too. It is also walking distance (5 mins) to the Genoa Central Railway Station. The taxi from...

We really enjoyed this hotel. MIchael the owner is very friendly and very helpful. If driving there we suggest using his car park. Well worth paying for it because he sends you a YouTube link so it is very easy to use. Book before hand though. Only a ten minute walk to ferry service as well.

Stayed for two nights, room and bathroom clean, bed very comfortable. Only real concern was our large window the glass panes was was painted over white so could not see out or receive very little light. Could open the window which looked out onto a alleyway but for safety reasons would not leave open. As with many accommodation’s in old cities was hard to find. Pictur...

The stay in the hotel is so comfy and enjoyable. The hotel consists of 5 rooms only, on the day we arrived there were 2 rooms available, the owner showed us both and let us chose, i think the decoration and design for each room is different, but those 2 we've seen are also nice. Strong wifi and satellite tv are provided.Train station can be reached within 5mins walk. A...

I was absolutely satisfied with the warm community at Victoria House! The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The room was very clean and shower was great too! Many hostels fail to notice the need for a bath mat but they provided it so shower experience was definitely great. There is a great sense of community in this hostel as travelers would have break...

It’s an excellent hostel. Staff are very nice and helpful. Guests are mostly friendly. You can get good rest even in a 6 bed dorms. The kitchen is very well equipped and breakfast is provided. There are lockers in the room with locks. Aircon in all rooms and windows will be opened for air exchange every morning. There’s an elevator in the building so you don’t need to ...

I stayed for 2 nights in Levanto. The village was nice and simple. I enjoyed walking around the pretty neighborhood. Ospitalia del Mare is near by the station, but if you bring big luggage, taxi would be a better option. I did not regret my decision to stay in Levanto instead of in one of those five villages. The stairs in Cinque Terre made it difficult for us to carry...

The room is really clean! And the service is great. I call the phone number on the door and the host immediately come and open the door for us although it took a little bit time. The room is in great value! The only bad side is the size of the room, which is a little bit small.

Stayed for two nights, room and bathroom clean, bed very comfortable. The owners of Gioberti House were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, and quite understanding of a slightly late check out. The room was clean and spacious, with balconies overlooking the street. The location is great - 10 mins from the train station, a stone's throw away from the port and easy distance from the historical city centre. Overall, enjoyed our 1 nig...

The lodging was very well-located in the city centre of La Spezia, with many shops and eateries around the area that opens till late at night, and La Spezia Central station (to take the rail to visit Cinque Terre islands) is about a 10 minutes walk away. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and informative, giving us a lot of suggestions on where to visit and e...

Clean hotel, maybe a bit difficult to find in the beginning. It's only a 3 minutes walk to Genoa main station. There are some restaurants around, but at night time the neighborhood feels rather unsafe (although it's very well illuminated outside). Shower was warm but water pressure was very low. Noise isolation is not good, you can hear other guests going in and out, a...

Place is beautiful, little way out but peaceful. Breakfast was good, could use a little more options, maybe cause season end is why limited.? As well would like to see more of inside lounge , sitting area as we had rain and was no where to hang out in comfort inside. Outside yes .. when nice out.

When we arrived : - the host was late to meet us - the lift did not work - the place had no leaving area - no fridge for cold water - the room had no air conditionning (really problematic when its 30°C outside) - the shared bathroom was not cleaned every day However, the place was well located. In the end, the price is really too high for what you get.

A truly personal experience. Located in old town, wich feels a little scary at night, however only a short walk from the main streets. A very old house, with maze-like stairs and corridors. The host (owner?) was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and very clean. Don’t expect a view, you will understand why when you reach old town. I felt like the stay in this ...

I had read the reviews that said the room was not near the main Restaurant and I was a little concerned of what I might find when I arrived. But just like other guests that have stayed here they will have found that the rooms are comfortable and although they are not situated in the same building as breakfast, do not let this deter you from staying here. The Bella Napo...

Were en route to Cinque Terre in a group of three. The receptionist was welcoming and performed a quick check-in, and the room we received was spacious. While not directly in the city center, the hotel is less than 1 km away from this downtown area so it was easier for parking. Keep in mind this is a two-star hotel; regardless, they provided breakfast and excellent ser...

Damn near impossible to find :) all we had was an A4 sign on the door but once in was fine. Parking was free somewhere down the road but cost 10 euro for parking at the premises. The place was nice though and had a terrace and wifi was convenient to everything in Sanremo so suited us well

Great staff. Clean. Best location. Good AC. My room was right above the train station platform. Noise wasn’t an issue for me. The parking space I rented though them is right below the train station with a separate metal enclosure with a garage door opener. Very secured and reasonable. Highly recommended

Welcome on arrival from the owner very nice. He gave us lots of useful information about the town and Cinque Terre. The rooms have been recently renovated and they were very nice. Beds extremely comfy, shower very good as was the WiFi and air conditioning. Location good for all amenities including trains and boats to Cinque Terre. Overall I would recommend and revis...

The staff at Olympia are amazing! Such a friendly duo to greet you and with Italian espresso while you check in! This location was awesome for our three night stay. We easily spent a couple days exploring the city and then found it easy to ride the train to Santa Margherita to swim for the day. Genoa area was by far my favorite place to visit in Italy and the Ol...

We absolutley loved our stay! Not only is it a fabulous location with restaurants and activities nearby but our Host was extremely warm, friendly, and generous. Each morning we awoke to him making us fresh espresso, cappucino even hot chocolate for ur 7 year old! he then proceeded to offer us a fresh homemade brealfast of croissants with homemade persimmons jam, omelet...

My partner and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We found exactly what we were looking for: a comfortable, clean, simple yet pretty room; beautiful panoramas of the hills and the sea; peaceful surroundings, with the low chirping of birds, the distant sounds of church bells, fresh air and the fragrant smell of flowers on the premises. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, w...

Fellipi, the owner, was extremely friendly and made himself available for any questions. He also offered advice for visiting Cinque Terre. The facilities only have 5 rooms I believe and they're very clean, minimalistic, and modern looking. The size of the room for the price was quite large compared to the rooms I stayed at in the same price range in Rome and Florence. ...

The owner is very friendly, and think all the needs in details. It's like staying with friend or family house. Biscuits, bread, coffee, tea, juice, all free. But need to carry luggage on stairs to second floor. I have only one light luggage, so no problem

Great for two female friends, we had twin beds. Provide cutlery, crockery and unlimited teabags and coffee pods for the coffee machine. Not there very often, because out enjoying the sights of Cinque Terre, but was lovely to come home to. Balcony, washing line and laundromat a few doors away. We had heavy bags and were on the top floor(4th) but Roberto provides a bagga...

Stayed in a room with two double beds. One of the beds was really hard but that's all that was wrong with the room. The walk to the place from the parking area is quite a long walk and is hard with luggage because of the hill. The owner was a bit rude about us coming after 7pm. Is expensive for what you get but was an okay room for the night.
