Lombardia hotels & accommodations

The majority of reviews on Agoda say that for a quick stay, this is the go-to hotel which provides a comfortable stay/service/access to get around town. My mother and I dreaded the almost unanimous "small bathroom" comment, but decided to forgo the fact and ended up booking our stay there anyway. Arriving in Milan, we immediately got into a taxi and asked to be taken t...

We never stayed in mandarin oriental Milan so we keep it out of selection. This property is only behind four Seasons Hotel and far better than bvlgari hotel( which offer best sweet tea in lobby ). Room is very clean but still too many dusts in air. Maybe carpet need wash instead vacuum due frequently use. Bar are full of complimentary drink and it helps. Shower is la...

My wife, my 9 month old son and I were traveling from Lake Como back to NYC with a pit stop in Milan on the way home. My business partner recommended this hotel and we booked the Family Room. My goodness it was the best hotel we have stayed in, in quite a long time so I would easily recommend it to anyone who stays in Milan. The room was huge, the staff was incredib...

Just come back from a long weekend stay in Milan. Hotel in a good location not far from the Duomo, shops and restaurants. Staff have been great from booking to arrival and then also during our stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely book again.

This hotel was the best thing that happned to us. First, service provided was amazing! Ludovica at the reception desk provided us with the best, five star welcome, check in and concierge information. I would note that she is amazing in her job and hotel should reward her for that. Another two receptionist were exceptional. Stephano and can't remember the other guy's na...

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and thought it was excellent. The staff were very helpful with advising the best places to go and the different routes we could take. The room was very modern and clean. It is very close to the metro which is only two stops from the Duomo and only a €10 taxi to the main restaurants and bars at night. We would highly recommend thi...

One word: awesome. We stayed in the Yard Suite and Dependance in mid-July 2013 for 3 nights, after a trip to Switzerland where we had stayed in three different hotels (including a lovely one in St Moritz). The Yard Suite and Dependence experience was the best, bar none. Check-in was easy. We booked a suite, and was delightfully assigned to the JFK Suite on the 2nd ...

Grand Visconti is an old fashion 4 star hotel. It has the traditional style of the old hotel with the heavy and glamorous furniture the thick carpets etc. It is very good organized despite the fact that I had to wait for half a hour in order to prepare - clean my room but that was no problem. What was quite irritate was the WIFI connection which was wick and it kept lo...

Though I had booked wrongly, instead of booking for a 2 pax in a room, my fingers were way too fast when I click only for 1 pax. To my relieved, the bed is of queen size and we need to top up only Euro 10 (for breakfast). Upon reaching hotel, which were much earlier than the check in time (we reach around 10am, normal check in time is 2 pm) - the front desk staff wit...

DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! 2 MACBOOK PRO 15” + 1 IPAD PRO 12.9” WAS STOLEN DURING OUR STAY. During our stay when we going out and come back, our room was a mess, we found that we lost 2 macbook pro 15” and 1 ipad pro 12.9” total ~ 5600$. The manager Chiara call the police and promise will claim the insurance for us. But when we contact asking for the status, nothing res...

Location is superb as it is just a 5 mins walk away from the central station. Many restaurants around the area and the pasta place beside the hotel was my best meal in Milan. Rooms and toliets were big enough but the shower is kind of small which i think is a norm in Europe.

I have been staying in this hotel in Milan for the past few years. The rooms are clean and decent, although small, comparing to other hotels nearby. Wifi connection is free and good. However the best thing about this hotel is the central location in Milan. It is minutes away by foot to the Duomo, shopping galleries and la scala theatre. There are also many nice restaur...

The location is brilliant, just 200 yards to the milano centrale train and metro stations. Trains run every 30 mins to malpensa airport and the metro trains are every 5 mins and take you to anywhere you want in milan. Its so easy to use! The hotel staff were really friendly and made us feel really welcome. The lady behind the desk gave us a city map and circled all the...

We stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Overall experience is satisfy. They allow us to check-in at noon time. Because our flight arrive early in the morning. The location is perfect to explore Milan or travel to nearby city. There are restaurants, convenience store nearby. The room provide everything a good 3-stars hotel could be. We will stay here again if we come ba...

Excellent location The main subway station (Centrale FS) is within 1 minute walk-from there you can go anywhere There are regular direct buses to all airports including Linate and Malpensa from Centrale FS The hotel is modern and rooms are spacious Breakfast is good Staff are very friendly For me the best feature was the location

Perfect location, just five minutes away from Central Station and subway station. Yet the neighbourhood is quiet enough and ensures good sleep at night. Breakfast is probably the best I've ever had in Italy (and I've been to Italy three times!) Wide variety of bread, hot food, fruits and drinks. Fast wifi connection. We could actually watch Youtube videos smoothly in...

I stayed in 4 hotels in Italy. And among the carefully chosen 4 (I spent 2 months on line looking for hotels...) Una Maison Mailano was the best! It is literally 1 minute walk away from the Duomo, yet the room was quiet. When I made the reservation, I told them the ETA at Malpensa Airport and that it was for our honeymoon trip. Upon check-in, they told us that they upg...

If you are visiting Milan and would like to be in the best shopping place in Italy , then this hotel is just perfect. In less than 2 minutes walking you can be in Duomo. I stayed with my wife for 3 nights in room 141 which was far from the elevators. We visited Milan just for shopping as this period was in the winter sale period where you get 30 to 50 per cent off mark...

This small secluded hotel is just a stones throw from the main shopping/cafe street in Milan. Very little to no noise from the Main Street though. Only a few short minutes walk to the castle and the Duomo and a huge high-end shopping area. Avis/Budget car rental is within walking distance in case you need to rent a car. The visitors center is about 5 mins away and you ...

Pros: location! Hotel was a good value, short walk to the Dumo Square, shopping, restaurants, the metro, city buses. Hotel has nice breakfast ( included in my booking), great staff, clean room., comfortable beds. Cons: room lacks electrical outlets near the beds to charge/use cell phones, laptops etc. WiFi a bit slow and drops out periodically. no free water bottles i...

We booked for the location alone, but were very pleased with the hotel in general. We had a young child and tickets for the night game, staying here allowed us to walk home within minutes. San Siro stadium is very well connected to the Metro but it is obviously very busy when 80,000 are leaving, this hotel allowed us to bypass that issue. The hotel is modern and fast ...

We book this hotel because it has good value for money and is situated 10km away from Milan central. We arrived late for check in but there were still a long queue. The receptionist did a good job to check us in within 5 minutes. Our room was clean, bright and adequately spaced out. The breakfast was great with good variety of bread, cereal and fruits..and the coffee w...

This Hotel is really good, location is perfect, the staff is friendly, the breakfast and the room are good and design and the bars are very nice as well. I just recommend you to book directly with the hotel to have the best deals. I have booked with agoda and finish payingnote than mu friends that booked directly by 40 eur per night!!!

this hotel was the easiest to find amongst all the hotels we had stayed in italy, and is easily one of the best hotels during our 2 weeks vacation in italy. it is a 10 mins walk from the milano centrale stazione, and another 15 mins walk to the shopping district, corso buenas aires. we were greeted by alberto during check-in. we appreciated the fact that he congratulat...

It's worth to be a 5 stars rated hotel. I just have a short stay in milan, staffs are professional and enthusiastic. They do more than you expected. Although the location is not the best....not so near to city centre, it's so great to have the shuttle services from hotel to anywhere...very convenient.

Pros: Best central location near all luxury shopping, duomo, etc. Incredible value for money. Clean, big rooms. Comfortable beds. Amazing shower. Surprisingly gorgeous breakfast with mountains of fresh fruit, etc. Good air conditioning (important in summer!) Cons: Surly front desk staff. Example: I wanted my baggage from the luggage room and a man w...
Cheap places to stay in Lombardia

The hostal has an amazing lake view in common area we could have breakfast with stunning view. Staff was really nice its worth to try Saturday bbq for 12 euros very good and if you book before 7 pm you get s free drink! the breakfast was really poor though .

My stay was astounding. By far the BEST hostel in ITALIA! If you stay at HOSTEL COLOURS--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, provide guests with very good hospitality. You won't be disappointed if you book a room or bed here. Jeff and the staff work very hard to provide guest satisfaction. Give them a try, see how you can experience MILANO in a truly unforget...

U can find anything u need in Cremona in reception desk of this hotel: where to eat, what to do etc We followed their instructions and found the best restaurant in our 18-day trip in Eu. The one serves local people not like restaurants for tourists I would love to come back Cremona again and ofcos will stay in L’Archetto

It's a bit dated and possibly in need of a refurb but it was clean and comfortable. It is handy for the metro to get to/from the city centre. Its easy to get to from Malpensa airport as you can avoid the metro with just one change on the mainline trains. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly

We were a bit reticent about staying here as we thought hostels were really only for youngsters but thought we’d give it a go. If you’re looking for a swish 4/5 star hotel it’s not for you. If you want a really friendly clean convenient place to stay in Como then this is it!! The staff are brilliant - especially Francesca on the reception who was both vivacious and he...

The location is near subway station, only ground floor, you don't need to pick your luggages to upstairs. Very quiet place that you can sleep very well. Bath room ensuite for every rooms, you don't need go out when bath. Even there are 30 mins walk to the Doumo, but the room and service quality already good at all! Staff are very nice and helpful, I will come again in ...

This is more like a deluxe hotel than a hostel. This is the only hostel that actually has a real cleaning service and they have a 5 star bathroom and they even provide you with towels. The staff is awesome. (I am in love with Sofia's smile...). The only bottom side is the price wich was high.. But I guess it's quality for the money. Worth it.

Really cheap. You get what you pay for. The reality is not very different from the pictures. Really clean. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Tram station at less than 100mt. The walls are too thin. You can hear almost everything. Too far away from the center, but easy to reach.

overall, I would give 4/5 good points : - very close to metro station and Central station - staff available 24 hr - staff was polite, answering the queries - price economical - small lift to bring stuff on 3rd floor - breakfast, variety less but sufficient and also did not charge anything for my 3 year son. - rooms and shared bathroom clean improvement points : -...

It was first time traveling alone in Europe and prior to this trip I had a lot of fears and hesitations because it was a hostel. But my goodness!! I love the place. It has a homey kind of feel and the staff are amazing- very helpful and friendly. The location is the best since it is very near Milan Centrale Station. If I am going back to Milan, I will book a place here...

Info: - Couple: (m30,f25), Asian - Stay: End of Dezember, 1 nights, breakfast included - Room: Floor 2, double-bed ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PROS + clean and nice + enough power outlets in the room + basic breakfast Good location + ...

Everything was fine. What about breakfast when I've been there I could have a jogurt and cornflakes with a milk, except croissant etc. Just one problem - on the gates it was an intercom . It doesn't work well, especially if cars or motorbikes riding near by or church's bells ringing. I did few attempts to get in.

Although the weather at the time of our stay was a mix of sun and rain (in the nights a lot!), we had a nice stay. Albergo Moderno has a welcoming hotel staff. The rooms are very clean, and breakfast and dinner are perfect. Dinner is a bit expensive. Keep in mind that this hotel is above 1000 metres. A car is necessary

Four days in Milan, Crammed a lot into the time thanks to two-day cheap metro tickets, station entrance is outside the hotel door, very convenient. Found food areas close by. Room is basic but clean & bright with Tv & coffee machine/cold water in corridor. Shared bathroom is very smart & cleaned every day. Thanks to Max for showing me around & being helpful. I was comf...

This house was amazing. well equipped an very clean room with beautiful view to the mountains. The owners was warm and welcoming. They have a restaurant on ground floor with delicious pizza. We came with our 4 month baby and they tried to make the stay as easy as possible. Very very recommended place! Thank you!

The building is very beautiful and you could not ask for a better location (2 minutes away from the funicular). Room was nice, but there was some mold in a couple of places and little humidity bugs on the carpet. Also, although the bath looks nice" it is completly inconvenient for a shower. There is parking on site and the building is secure. Check the amenities and th...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is 20 mins away from the centre by public transportation but therefor the price is a lot cheaper than the hotels right in the middle of the city. The 24h reception service makes it really easy for you if you have any questions. Public Parking is right in front of the building but costs 2€/hour which is a normal price for milan,...

Near the train station, at the front of train station walk straight, you can see Glam Hotel, walk past it in the small road, not far from there, you can see Flora Hotel. Everything is excellent, clean, beautiful, great breakfast, the best breakfast, the best staff, thank you for the best maid in the breakfast room. We could leave the luggage in the store room very safe...

Two overnights in a nice decent room, the view from the terrace is absolutely fantastic, the pizza great and the way to the room after a godd glas of wine not far :). Very clean, friendly staff. Only doownside: the noise from the road leading up to the hotel.

The hotel is a very good location for a stop over. If you arrive with the Berninapass Express, a train or with motorbike or car, you will get a warm welcome. The breakfast on Sunday morning was great especially the homemade cakes. And as there has no taxi available the owner transferred as in Person with his OWN car to the train station on this Sunday morning. Really...

The ride to any of the stations in Milan (by train or bus) takes just under one hour, so this hotel would suit your needs best only if you are planning a short stay or if y...

They even got safety seal on each toiletries, something you won't find even in 5 stars hotel. Bed was comfort and linen was clean. There is some kind of heater where you can hang your towel to dry. Location wise it is just 2 trai...

Polite staff ready to help and provide all the information you need...rich breakfast buffet, very clean and quiet rooms (king size bed, flat satellite TV, minibar )..close to metro station (Porto di Mare)...ideal for weekends and one of the best chouces in Milan... 4 star hotel indeed!!!

Each country is different when it comes to star ratings. I felt it's little overrated, but then that's because I travel to Asia a lot where 4-star means rather a grant scale for everything. I was expecting more contemporary decor, but a room was clean and I liked the bathroom the most. The best thing about this hotel is the location, which is quite close the cultural s...

The hotel also offers a shuttle to and from the molino dorino metro station which is an extra bonus. Hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are large, clean & very comfortable.

It's worth to be a 5 stars rated hotel. I just have a short stay in milan, staffs are professional and enthusiastic. They do more than you expected. Although the location is not the best....not so near to city centre, it's so great to have the shuttle services from hotel to anywhere...very convenient.

Wonderful, clean & big hotel room. Location was splendid! We were not able to locate the door of the hotel (Lobby located on 5th level). Signs were not enough to indicate. But once we locate the hotel, we were warmly received by the hotel staff. Our room (suite) has a balcony & overlook the Duomo Milan. Love the hassle free pin code in replacement of keys! Bath...

Very nice spacious and clean room. We used this hotel as the base of our trip through Italy/Europe. Breakfast was very good. Best out of the hotels we stay on our trip. Staff were very helpful. Location is only good if you don't mind staying in a trendy area out of the main centre close with all the attractions. We caught the subway easily. Interesting mix of tourists...

Lovely little boutique hotel in excellent location 10 minutes walk to the Duomo, lots of restaurants nearby. Please note a new underground line is being built in the vicinity so that in the future there will be a stop outside the hotel and the line goes to Linate Airport. Our room was lovely, spacious, balcony, excellent bed, pillow and linen. However, some room are r...

The luxury is felt everywhere in this hotel (except for the bathroom amenities, which could have been up-scaled, and the quality/variety of coffee options for the in-room coffee machine). Breakfast was the best I ever had, and even the room-service food was extremely good. Room was perfectly dark, with no light entering in the morning, and also perfectly quiet, with no...

The hotel was unique and comfortable. We like the breakfast (though expect that it will be the same everyday) KOWA dishes were also exceptional. Basically, we had a wonderful 7 days at the hotel. We have to move around Italy for a few days and they allowed us to leave our luggage for safekeeping until our return flight. We like that all the front desk staff were very...

A great welcome and such a 5 star service! We became upgraded over something the hotel couldn't really control. (Construction outside) But they handled this really well. The food at the roof top was excellent and great service there too. An over all great experience! Extra plus to the fantastic staff!

Wonderful stay in a very well run hotel. Room, a Junior Suite, was very good, decent size with good furniture and fittings and a nice wardrobe area. The only very minor criticism was that the shower (rainfall) was over the bath, I would have preferred a separate shower cubicle for a room at this level but otherwise the room was very comfortable. The location is super...

one of the best places i have ever stayed ! this spa resort is located on top of a mountain side overlooking one of the most amazing locations in northern Italy - the views are breathtaking - the pool spa is amazing - would highly recommend to completely relax - eg. there is a room just inside the resort that maintains the perfect temperature after finishing a swim out...

Location, location, location!!! It's right at the hot spot. We upgraded our room and it has a large window and we could even see the "Lucky Bull" spot in the galleria from our room! Just amenities, there's no complementary bottles of water, nor kettle/coffee maker. It's seemingly not a biggie, but I realized that not having them in your room is not nice. I didn't ev...

The hotel is clean and the location is most ideal near the Brera district. Lots of interesting shops to discover especially for home décor. The staff are very helpful and it has an app that helps you to travel around Milan with a on-call concierge service. The cost of the hotel is on the high side during the Milan Design Week.

Just excellent! When we have a chance to go back Milan, we definitely stay this hotel again. This is a five stars hotel, the lobby area and of course, our room was very nice. The location is also convenient. Just 10min to walk to Central station, 25min to walk to Duomo area. When we stayed there, we didn't take a taxi. The staffs were very friendly. They all speak very...

I feel good, but the water shower not good enough, let me cannot have a very good shower, I am very questioning why the 5 star hotel with this technology. this is the only thing I cannot accept, other than this one, Loaction is not good. And overall I still acceptable

Spacious, comfortable room. Great location, close proximity to train stations. Staff (Ron) was helpful and kind. Lift is great va 4 flight of stairs. Facilities 3* only because it's an apartment and not a hotel, but who needs pools/ restaurants/ gym when you're in the heart of Milan!

We loved ever moment spent at the C-hotel & Spa. The large panel windows and efficiently designed space made the room look larger then what it actually was! Our 1.5 year old toddler also made herself feel at home as she could take in the garden views. The founders are very involved in the business and we could see them work their craft, be it in serving us dinner or ma...

This is the second time we have stayed at Vittoria and my wife and I love it so much we will definitely stay again. The staff remembered us from our previous visit and gave us a warm welcome. This is a stately and gracious old hotel that is well located in the old centre, so take a walk and enjoy the sights and sounds of the old town. Brescia is a lovely place that see...

When we arrived there were two other rooms availabale so we upgraded from our original attic room to a room with a view of the pool. Very nice, high ceilinged room. The sheets and towels were changed every day which, although it's not very PC, was very much appreciated. We were staying in Lake Como for a family wedding so had family staying in apartments and villas ...

We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights at Fifty House Soho Hotel. Starting with location, it is 10 minutes walk from Central Train Station and by taxi it cost between 9-11 Euros. It is also 30 minutes walk to Duomo area and by taxi costs 15-17 Euros at max. There are some above average pizzeria, fish restaurant close to the Hotel.
