Louisiana State hotels & accommodations

The Monteleone is a beautiful grand old hotel in the midst of the French Quarter. I understand that it's still owned and operated by the same family since its beginnings. It is immaculately kept and quite comfortable, in my opinion. Service was very good, and our river view room was beautifully appointed. I will say though by modern standards storage was a bit limi...

Visited Hyatt Regency for my stay in New Orleans for my birthday. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are nice and the location of the hotel is near the major attractions in the French Quarter. The morning of my check out, there was a fire alarm and everyone had to evacuate the hotel. By the time we got downstairs, everything was figured out and we were able to go rig...

We loved the hotel overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby has the traditional older New Orleans look to it, but the rooms and updated beautifully to be more up to date but still have that Louisiana charm. The only negative was the elevator situation. There are only two and the hotel I believe was full and it was difficult to get an elevator in ...

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was centrally located to most areas that I wanted to visit. Ray the valet was the best. He was extremely courteous and friendly and always willing to help us. Great service at this hotel! Hope to return again soon.

I arrived at hotel to check in 6 hours before check in and shared with front desk that I have some health issues that needed attention. They weren’t able to get me in room immediately as hotel was fully booked on Sunday a.m. of Presidents’Day weekend. However, they did everything humanly possible to make me comfortable until there was a room available about two hours...

The hotel itself was amazing. It was clean, modern, and very nice. My only issue was with Agoda. I had booked a room with what was advertised as a balcony and it ended up a sun roof or something. Basically, it was a front porch but had absolutely no view (as advertised) and when I tried to ask the hotel staff, they advised that those rooms sell out a year in advance. I...

This is a great hotel for someone to visit NOLA for a couple of days. It is within an easy walking distance from the French Quarter, Riverfront, etc., but yet not too close to get bothered at night by revelers. The room on the 4th floor facing the Riverwalk Mall was quiet, comfortable and very clean (with the exception of the coffee mugs). I recommend this hotel, ...

Best location at the cross-roads of the French Quarter and the Convention Centre. But lack of power supply on bed-side table and writing table is disappointing for such a big named hotel. These days hotels also have USB outlets. No serviceable swimming pool also gets minus points for me, but work-out place is very comprehensive and well equipped. Excellent river view f...

My wife and I grew up in Mississippi and are very familiar with NO. When I walked into Le Marais, it seemed eerily familiar. After talking with the staff, I realized it used to be The Marie Antoinette Hotel. It was my mother's favorite spot (great location), and I stayed there many times myself, until it got too "tired". It was a pleasure to stay there, well-refurbishe...

Thank-you to all of the friendly staff at Homewood Suites for making our stay so enjoyable and easy for us. The delicious breakfasts were a perfect start to our day. The hotel’s location is ideal for strolling through the French Quarter. Our room was clean and spacious with a full kitchen including a full size fridge; dishwasher and cooktop. Cupboards and drawers comp...

My adult daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night before boarding a cruise the next morning. The hotel/hospital backs up to the Mississippi River where of course the cruise terminals are located a couple of miles away. The hotel is basically INSIDE or part of the Oschner Hospital facilities located on Jefferson Highway. Once parked in the parking garage adja...

Location is ideal, close enough to everything but away from Canal and Quarter crowds. Restaurant Luke is one of the finest anywhere. The staff were young and friendly and the jazz group Saturday night in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. Room furnishings could be warmed up and the toilet seat in my room was literally falling off. $45 a night valet parking is outrag...

I checked in for one night with my son. The front desk clerk told me that a United States passport wasn't usually accepted for anyone that was not a Mexican. I don't have a driver's license. I have never stayed at a hotel that had a problem with a passport-I travel a lot. After stating that I would only be staying one night while waiting for my apartment to be repair...

Just on the back side of Jackson Square, the Bourbon Orleans was very convenient to all the best spots in the French Quarter. Every staff member was kind and helpful at the Bourbon Orleans. The rooms were clean with luxurious beds. We will definitely return to the Orleans in the future.

This hotel location was excellent. I got an amazing deal and we got an upgrade when we arrived which was amazing. The cleanliness for the calibre of hotel could have been better but nothing that was offensive. The staff were really friendly and the bayou bar and hot tin roof are excellent spots to try out. Overall I would stay again if I got a similar price point!

Hotel was in the perfect location - walking distance to everything. Canal street, bourbon street, all restaurants, waterfront, and all the popular restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Short walk to the trolley on Canal Street will take you to the Garden District and CBD. Room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating....

At the advice of my travel agent, Travel Escapes by Heller, I stayed at the Troubadour, a concept hotel by Hilton. I lean towards Hilton properties and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent quiet location in the up and coming Business District, yet is an easy mile walk from the French Quarter. The hotel is remodeled and mod with lots of character. Staff ...

The hotel was in the best location. It is within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay before getting on our Carnival cruise the next day. we will be staying there again in the future!!!

The location, welcome byvstaff and THE BEDs were amazing. Royal St is divine, canal st at the end of the road and Bourbon St 2 blocks away it was just great. The beds and pillows were amazing. I mean amazing... I would go back again and would even think about staying at Wyndams in other states/countries.

Also, I fell down the steps when leaving. The employees are warm, friendly and personable. The breakfast was delicious, it did need more fresh fruit. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are wonderful. The pillows could be softer. We will be back and have raved about the place to our family there.
Cheap places to stay in Louisiana State

first off -its now knight's inn--room has been painted -cleaned-has old AC -that works -clean beds--nice large flat screen tv--plenty of channels -location for airport -is great-would stay there again---no fridge or microwave -but for 45 dollars -not complaining

To be honest when I was looking for a place to stay in Leesville, there were not many options. This hotel offered pretty good deal so I took it. I got a huge bed only for myself and a clean room. A lady came to do daily basic cleaning and she changed all the towels with new ones. The bathroom has bathtub so it was a tremendous help for me who just traveled literally 2 ...

It's an old hotel. That said, don't expect too much. It was okay for an overnight stay. I was glad to have a spacious room for the night after our Tabasco Trip. Suggestion though - I hope the management will make the room brighter. Paint it with white. As it was, it looked dreary with the dark paint plus black and white picture frame. Thanks to the helpful staf...

We have stayed in the Super8- motels for several times and that's why our expectations might have been quite high. But the property in Lafayette was a little disappointment. Our room was painted in dark colours and the furniture was a bit "tired". But the breakfast was quite good.

I booked this place last minute while driving cross country because the price was right. The staff was wonderfully warm and attentive. After checking me in, the front desk attendant walked me to my room and showed me around, making sure everything was in working order and that I was comfortable. The place has been undergoing renovations, so the rooms are being upgrade...

Property is old and needs refurbishing. Room smells like mold and only had a towel for showering no wash rag or hand towels. Felt and sounded like they took the bed from my grandmother's house. Was old and had no Comfort at all. If you have allergies this is not the place for you.

There were 3 men and 2 women next door. Loud all night. One of the girls went to jail that morning. A 4th man pulled, through a woman out the truck, beat her face in then got in his truck and left her under my window. My husband went to ask if we could get her a towel, medicine just then the police swarmed and hemmed my husband up on my door. The lady with the unfortun...

When we arrived, we got checked in & went to our room. We walked in on someone already in our room. Come to find out the room was overbooked. The way they settled this was giving me a lesser value room (in my eyes). My husband & 8 of 20 yrs had to sleep in separate beds. We then ask for an ashtray & batteries for our tv. I have to walk down there for batteries. It to...

I spent a night here, and I loved the place! The staffs were so friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was good for each guest. They serve breakfast ( complimentary) and offer a variety of activities inside the house. At the night I was staying, free jambalaya dinner was prepared for us. It was a very enjoyable night. I’d totally recommend this place for anyon...

First time at Eldorado everything from the staff to the cleanest of the room beds super comfortable exceeded my expectations. The Seafood buffet was outstanding. Gaming options were great. I played blackjack at a video console dealing live hands to multi players so much better than a traditional table. My only concern I didn't have more time to stay longer. Best Casino...

Great hotel. Location is perfect because it is quiet (not too close to the rowdy areas) but close enough to walk most places you want to visit. Also near the trolley cars. Terrific rooftop pool, and the rooms are spacious. Hotel is very clean. What really set this hotel apart however, was the concierge, Claudette. The best ever. Everything she recommended was ...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. Our room was modern, clean and spacious; we felt very comfortable during our stay. The room did not have free wifi, but free wifi was available in the lobby. The hotel location was PERFECT: right across from the French Quarter, walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, also Bourbon Street was only a few blocks away. T...

We stayed at the CAMBRIA in Chicago last year and have always been on the lookout for other locations. Booking and checking in was a breeze, we noticed that the hotel has plenty of parking all around, along with friendly valet staff. We arrived prior to check-in time and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and head out right away. The location of the hotel is...

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was well located in the French hotel. We parked our car up for the time we were there. the room was comfortable and funky in style with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Most things were in walking distance from he hotel. It was close to restaurants.

I have traveled to New Orleans many times and have always been interested in staying at this establishment. I can truly say that it exceeded my expectations. From Steven at the front desk to the valets, we truly felt welcome. The view that we had also was excellent. I most definitely will be staying there again.

This hotel is charming and quiet. It is very well located for business travelers as well as sightseers. Though it is in the Central Business District, the hotel is a short walk from the French Quarter (and much quieter). It is also possible to walk to the Garden District and a number of museums. The hotel has a restaurant as well as an appealing bar and both indoor...

There is only one receptionist at the counter doing everything, but she gave me warm welcome. The room is big and there is a small kitchen which has microwave, coffee making, and the best is washing machine. I stayed for 5 nights, so the washing machine is a need for me. There is the good wireless in my room. I took a shuttle bus from the airport and the hotel was easi...

this place is unique, a beautiful genuine new Orleans building, decorated to reflect the area, with each room individually themed. Nancy was extremely friendly and helpful, could not do enough to help, but not in your face. Breakfast was homemade and different each day, and probably the best we have had anywhere we have ever stayed. Walking distance to Frenchman street...

Visited the area for a friend's birthday celebrations. This was our first time and we wanted to stay somewhere close to all available activities in the city. We were extremely happy to find such a great hotel for such a great price! Unfortunately, only 1 of the 2 elevators was working, though the wait wasn't too bad. The toilet in our bathroom also moved around when we...
Luxury hotels in Louisiana State

Had such an amazing stay here. An absolute gem of a location on Frenchman Street. Rita is the best host in New Orleans, with easy, prompt communication and a wealth of knowledge about the French Quarters. The Jr Suite was large, clean and quiet. Would stay here again

Best hotel we went to during our trip across America. The room was extravagant, clean, large, the staff were so friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed choosing this hotel. The rooftop pool and was perfect, and so was the live music. So glad we stayed here and we would stay again in a heartbeat
