Lumbini Zone hotels & accommodations

Great hotel for travelers visiting the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha ; just 40 minutes away from Lumbini, and with all the road construction happening there , you just get to relax in a clean new place ; however the contradicting scenery between the hotel and the outside world is weird somehow !

I enjoyed my stay at Ananda Inn. The location is great and it is right in front of the gate of Maya Devi Temple. I took bus from Pokhara and the bus stopped right in front of the way to the hotel. The restaurant served Nasi Goreng ala Indonesia which suprised me and many other choices with reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and they even provided me with a brea...

I and my friend had a very nice stay in Mirage Inn. We booked one night but then extended one more night because Lumbini has many things to discover and the hotel is in a very central location. The Mirage Inn is located just right there near the Gate 5 to Maya Devi Temple so we walked to the temple twice, one in the early morning and one late at night. The bus stop is ...

I have a very nice and relaxing stay at Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort. Originally it was to be a bit out of my price range (I was a single traveler on a budget) but upon research of hotels in that area I discovered that all hotels were in the high price range. I went with Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort due to it's more eco and natural design. The photograph of the thatch...

Very good value for money in the Lumbini Bazaar. Basic but lovely touches such as the owner brought us incense sticks in the evening to get rid of mosquitoes. The shower in the un-attached bathroom worked well and the hotel was near many eateries for breakfast and food. Stayed for 2 nights which was enough time to see the Lumbini attractions, and the owner helped us wi...

My stay in the Stupa hotel was pleasant. The hotel is new and modern and the staff is very helpful. There was a strike on in Nepal at the time so not everything on the menu was readily available, but the kitchen did their best to accommodate my eating habits. Highly recommended!

Dissapointed with the managerial staff standards as we could not find any member of staff for several hours, only to find them playing cards in a back room. The beds were very hard and the decor was tired, although the bathroom had been updated.

I stayed 1 day to visit at Lumbini area. Location is very good to entrance gate. At timing I visited festival at the garden had been held. Hotel staff guided me out to it and birthplace of Buddha. They gave me very kind hospitality. But room facility(shower, bed, air conditioner and light) is not good. I think it is just common level as local basic hotel.

I was very impressed with Club DeNovo. As someone who has been visiting Butwal for over 40 years I can assure anyone that Club DeNovo is the best place to stay in Butwal. The rooms are spacious and clean with good bathrooms. There is ample car parking available in two car parks. The swimming pool is a great bonus in the hot weather.
