Best hotels & accommodations in Minnesota

A super great place to stay. We had friends that stayed in other hotels in the area and paid more for their rooms and they were small and had no pool or shuttle. We were happy with everything. The room was spacious, enjoyed the cookies at 10pm, utilized the shuttle services and they were very pleasant. The restaurant food was great and priced reasonable. There was a...

Older hotel but well maintained and clean. The A/C unit in my room did not work but that may have been shut down for the Minnesota winter. My only complaint is that the mattress was just awful. No padding and very firm. had I stayed more than one night I would have requested a different bed or an air bed. The location did outweigh the discomfort as the Kahler is litte...

Had to drive around the block a few times to locate hotel as the Marquette signage is not large enough to see off the street when traveling in an unfamiliar territory.... Staff is very friendly and professional. The view was beautiful. I would difeniately stay there agan. Parking area could be attached to hotel instead of having to drive to parking area.

This hotel is very nice for patients with appointments at the May Clinic in Rochester, MN. The rooms are nice, complimentary breakfast is adequate, and the location can't be beat! It is right across the street from most of the Mayo Campus. In case of bad weather (Minnesota winters), the hotel is joined to the clinic and many downtown businesses by pedestrian subway tu...

Every time I stay at this hotel I always enjoy my stay. Staff are super friendly, Love the new Updated on the hotel. It total beats Best Western. Love love love the updated n upgrades on everything. Always refer family n friends n strangers to this Liv-inn Hotel. Hands down bestests place I've stayed at ever for any reason. Can't wait for my next stay soon.

We stayed for one night on January 1st. From what I ascertained from the front desk staff, the hotel had been fully booked the night before. We arrived before check-in time and while we were waiting for our room to be ready, we looked around. The pool area is great--huge pool, fountain, slide, big hot tub--a really great pool for a hotel for sure!! However, I was asto...

Its is a very cool hotel being built in an old train building. That's about it though. The pool had children in the whole time which is not a big deal because I did not plan to use the pool. But my room faces the pool and had a window to it. So get ready to be awake right when that pool opens in the morning. And also hear people the whole day. When the pool closes peop...

The hotel was easy to find and convenient for accessing either St. Paul or Minneapolis. The staff was welcoming. The breakfast in the morning got our day started right. Towels are stacked on racks in the hallways, which seemed odd. But being it’s Minnesota and everyone is nice, there didn’t seem to be any problems. While the staff was friendly, they could use s...

Incredible location quaintly nestled off the beaten path. Wonderful service, great rooms. Very comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Already had booked a room a few months ago and tried them a second time this past week. This is my go to place now when traveling.

Staff ok and helpful. Parking is poor. The area around the building should be kept only for guests. It is poor service to need to park nearly a block away in the parking lot especially when it snows. Housekeeping is inconsistent. During our last two stays, we had at least one time when housekeeping wasn't complete. The bed was poorly made and towels placedon the floor ...

Hotel is in a good location and rooms are good size . But we were given our 3 rooms on 6th floor which has doors opening to the indoor pool due to which it was noisy ( pool was open till past midnight) and also we had to have our window curtain closed at al times for privacy which made room feel very dingy. Towels in bathroom didn't feel fresh and toiletries were not r...

We didn’t actually get to stay there. I called at 3 pm to confirm the reservation for one night but when we arrived at 10pm from the train, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and arrangements were made for us to stay in another town. It was upsetting to say the least but the manager was very accommodating and worked with us to meet our needs. We were well taken...

The service was phenomenal, the rooms were extra clean, there was always coffee downstairs and free games, pool and massage chairs! It was also super close to the event I went to! (5 minutes) along with nearby stores. Perfect!! Best hotel I've ever stayed at

First time staying at LivINN Hotel and wasn't sure what to expect. I was very impressed with LivINN starting with the staff's professional courtesy, to the Hotel room spaciousness, comfort, and quietness, and finally the amenities and excellent breakfast lounge and range of foods, and Free internet (non-interruption) Service. I would describe this Hotel as Motel 6 pr...

Easy check in and parking. The room was spacious, clean, modern. Staff was friendly. Only downside was breakfast was not included, and cost $16 (you can have an amazing breakfast elsewhere for the same price). Didn't use the gym so can't comment on that. Overall enjoyed our stay!

we had great service, the pool was nice, the breakfast was very good and the staff kept everything filled. it was a Saturday morning and the place was packed but they did an excellent job. I asked for a late check out and the staff was happy to to approve it. he didnt hesitate but right away said yes! the staff was exceptional from check in to check out and the hotel ...

I had prepaid through Agoda. comThe hotel staff had no record of this. Two of the three staff members I dealt with were less than sympathetic or helpful to solve the problem. In addition my shower set off a smoke alarm each time, and they did not get around to solving the problem during my stay.

Is this the swankiest motel in the metro? No, of course not. But it gets the job done--a pleasant night of sleep in a comfortable bed. Plus, the rooms are enormous if you like large rooms. Bottom line, they've done the best they could do with an aging physical structure. My one complaint is that there was no reading light over the bed.

This hotel has been lovingly restored with appropriately eclectic furniture and excellent soundproofing. Our only problem was with the service in the Veranda restaurant. The server was charming and the manager even came over to chat with us, but we waited close to half an hour for a basic eggs-and-hashbrowns breakfast. This was the first time we stayed in the hotel, ...

Value for money. Got Complementary Breakfast and Wifi. Got Snacks on the day one complementary. Checked-in at 12 midnight. Hotel personal was kind enough to ensure I got food and offered free coffee / drinks / fruits. Would come back to Best Western again next time when I travel.

We arrived late at 1 AM in St.Paul. Some of the other motels in the area either did not have rooms available or nobody was at the desk to check us in at 1 AM in the night. This one had very friendly staff, someone to assist at the desk 24x7 and great value for money. Its less than 10 miles from Mall of America, minneapolis. I recommend to anyone looking for budget bed ...

I was a little hesitant to stay here because of the price and the pictures, but it was very nice stay. The rooms were clean, the staf was nice and breakfast was good. The hotel looks like it was recently remodeled and it looks like they just did the bare minimum to make it look better, the bathrooms were still old looking and the ceilings in the hall looked old, but ot...

The only reason I don't give all 5 stars is because the breakfast. Hard egg are a pain to peel when they are overcooked and cold. But the hotel installations are great and clean. I booked a room and because we will stay 7 days they gave us a suite for the same cost. It was a great experience overall.

Near Interstate I 494 a few miles south of St Paul, easy access to downtown Minneapolis and St Paul. End of March 2018 I spent two nights there on business. The facilities were good, typical of a newish "budget plus" hotel, clean. Restaurant is fairly basic but the complimentary breakfast (including eggs and hot sausage as well as the usual cereals etc.) was better tha...

The room was quite nice - comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom facilities were also good. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed very well. Two negative aspects of the visit - the Agoda page for the hotel said "Breakfast". We envisioned a typical breakfast room with the usual array of cereals, muffins, waffle iron, etc. Unfortunately, "breakfast" meant...

Staff was excellent, very friendly, helpful and courteous. Had a small problem with our room and they were right on top of it and took care of it very, very quickly. Breakfast was good, (wish there was meat and eggs), but everything was fresh. Parking was great lot was clear as they could with the snow storm that had came through, and plenty of parking for large trucks...

I truly enjoyed the spacious room, wonderful whirlpool hot tub and the extremely helpful hotel staff! I would recommend this as a place to stay for the solo traveler, couples or vacationing families! The location is ideal for fine dining, shopping or entertainment (Minneapolis, St. Paul and Prince's famous Paisley Park in Chanhassen are nearby)! And whether you're look...

I was very happy with the hotel. Fridge and microwave in rooms. Pool was warm, hottub and sauna were big. Included breakfast was not large but not small. Staff was polite and quick even though there was a very lot of people arriving at check-in time.

I guess you get what you pay for, but in this case you might think you paid too much. Don't come here for the promise of breakfast with your room. The toaster waffle and stale bread are not worth the price (yes they are free... Get it?) There was no syrup and the old guy who tried to figure out the syrup dispenser was way out of his element. On the other hand, it was e...

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Restaurant/Bar very good. The only complaint is the HVAC system. We are in commercial construction and we could tell no corners were cut when the hotel was built, except the HVAC. So very loud in the room and its located right next to the bed (at least in out room it was). We used earplugs and got on with life. With that said, we would ...

We had a few drinks at the bar and I had to use the rest room. It smelled awful. It either needed more cleaning or the exhaust wasn’t working. Elevators were few and slow for the traffic that a few of us had to use the stairs from the 15th floor. Staff was great and helpful though.
