Missouri hotels & places to stay

The facility was nice. The room view was nice. The location is great and a lot of things are walking distance. We went during the 4th of July weekend and it was so busy with the fair and weddings. We couldn't get an elevator to or from out room a lot of the time, especially in the late evening (8-10om). Once we waited about 20 minutes for an elevator to go up to our room (17 floors) and decided to take the stairs because the wait was so long. We often took the stairs down because the elevators were so crowded going down. They only have three elevators running and it was awful. If you go on an off weekend, it'll probably be nice.

Great Concert Location a couple blocks to Enterprise Center - Some wear and tear (missing closet handle and loose door security chain/bar lock). One of two key cards didn't work and had to walk back to the desk. Historic parts of the hotel are awesome. The modern add-on part of the hotel under the Union Station awning has shorter ceiling, long maze with only one set of elevators instead of two for each wing. Was quiet for having a bazillion female pop concert goers. Pool and landscaping are great except is a bit small for size hotel. Do note the STL Aquarium, soda pop store, and giant ferris wheel are all under construction till 2019 winter maybe fall so request to be on the side away from the construction it's a way longer walk from the one set of elevators but I think it is worth it. Station Grill restaurant food and staff were awesome and highly professional. Beds are super soft. Bathroom was large. The bedroom was quite small and cozi. HVAC worked well in the heat. Hotel has room service. There is an Irish pub and restaurant next door if you want cheaper food. Hotel staff seems to be able to handle large numbers of people checking in and out all 10 stations were staffed.

The staff (especially Nina & Roxie) were the BEST! They were so accommodating, nice & funny. They hooked us up to whatever we needed anytime we needed it & always with a smile on their face. I had a problem with my room & Nina put me in another room that was really nice. The rooms were clean & spacious. The breakfast was freshly made & good. We enjoyed the Tavern every evening. Such a cozy, friendly environment. The decor in & out is outstanding. Our conference was within walking distance from the hotel. It rained while we were there. The hotel had umbrellas for us to use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Cheshire!

I stayed here 2 seperate nights, first night room had a broken clock, toilet that barely flushed, busted outlet, and last and most important the shower was broke and did not provide hot water, coldest shower in my life but I had to use it because scheduled plans. Second night though was given to us at a discount price along with a complementary breakfast buffet due to the first nights complications. So management did make up for the inconvenience, the beds are great and provide solid sleep, the breakfast was okay, the pools are nice and salt water. Overall an easily enjoyable hotel as long as everything goes the way ours supposed to, I will return to it when I stay in Springfield again.

The best part of this hotel is the staff - from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning crews - they make this hotel. Everyone was a consummate professional, friendly and accommodating. The rooms was furnished in the standard way and was clean. The garage parking was convenient. The breakfast was great (although bacon on the buffet would have been nice because bacon makes everything better). We were there for a wedding with the reception in the hotel. The banquet crew also did an excellent job. We would definitely stay there again. The only things I could find fault with would be a lack of hooks for garment bags (the closet was too small to provide access to an open garment bag. These could be added to the wall in the room fairly easily (1 hook for the main part of the bag and one hook for the side that opens. The water pressure was also not very good. Those are minor inconveniences that we could overlook.

Good deal if booked here at a discount and you need to be in Hazelwood or Florissant. No airport shuttle, though there is a city bus on the corner to the airport and downtown train station. Clean, but heaters/air conditioners were not working good., they leak outside air in. Breakfast is OK, but they dont let you bring to the room, a real pain if not everyone wants to wake up in time. Seemed to be some long term tenants, but I never really felt unsafe. Is very close to a Starbucks, 7/11, A&W, Arby's, credit union and dollar store, short drive to many restaurants and stores. Free parking. Ask for a quieter room, some are noisy. We did stay there twice due to value and location near our family, so not awful.

Hotel room was clean and room was comfortable. Very well worth the money spent. They offered a shuttle bus to and from the game. Coming back is a longer wait than it is to go to the stadium. But after a Colts win we decided to take a victory walk! But honestly the walk was not even bad. We only stayed one night and didn't hang out at the hotel much but the staff we ran into were nice and welcoming. We took a tour around and the place is very nice!

Check in was late. It was a Sunday and they said that the cleaning staff was doing the best that they could. They did suggest a couple of things for us to do while we waited. The room smelled a little musty but overall was clean. There was a storm one morning which cased all the lights to go out on that block or grid. Even with the lights out the staff person that was doing breakfast did the best that she could to make sure that we had something to eat. She was very pleasant and helpful and tried to do the best she could. We only used the outdoor pool. It was small but clean. Overall it served its purpose. Was an average price for hotels in the area but the location for us was ideal. We walked to the activities that we wanted to go to. Traffic in Branson is kind of crazy.

Bed looked clean. It was comfortable enough. Floor had dirt and what looked like food bits around the edges like they vacuumed the main floor and didn't think anyone would lose a shoe under the bedskirt. The ice bucket still had remnants of the previous guests in it and the front desks answer was "I can have housekeeping come by tomorrow" if it hadn't been 11pm and I had an 8 year old with me, i would have left. I would've expected this from a flyby road side $40 a night place but not here.

I recently stayed at the BW in Kirkwood, while attending my daughter's NCAA Bowling Championship. I booked from Wed to Sun as I was hoping that my daughter's team would make it to the Championship. However, they were eliminated a day early, so I wanted to amend my Period of Stay to one day LESS. I ended up leaving a day early because I had a 21-hr drive back home, and asked the BW hotel if I could check-out early and be refunded for the last night. They told me "NO" and was going to charge me for the night I was not staying. Then they tried to tell me that it was Agoda (who I booked through) that would not refund me. That was a total LIE because I WORK for Agoda, and had one of the agents contact BW on my behalf. I am very upset with BW for not refunding me and trying to put blame elsewhere. I did enjoy my stay BUT will NEVER STAY with Best Western (BW) ever again!!! I should have stayed where the other parents stayed because their hotel did refund them for leaving early .

The location for the motel was fantastic, and they offer drop off and pick up to Country Club plaza. It was a straight shot to the shopping areas on the Kansas side and an easy drive to Arrowhead Stadium. The front desk staff (same guy all weekend) was very friendly and helpful. One small issue. It took long time for hot water to travel to the third floor, beyond that, I would recommend Best Western PLUS Seville Plaza Hotel.

somehow Agoda sent them my reservation as a king instead of a king with Jacuzzi. the first night i ended up in the wrong room due to them booking all of the correct rooms already. so i was only able to spend 1 night from 3pm to 11am checkout in the correct room that i paid for. crystal dewayne and alice made sure everything was corrected for me and for my significant others bday and ensured i got a 10 discount for the inconvenience.

I paid for two reservations through Agoda. I verified, at check in for the first night, that both reservations were paid for. I gave the staff member my credit card for any additional charges. I had to check out and back in after the first night and before the next two nights. Unfortunately, Karen was at the front desk. She was very unfriendly. She asked for my card and I assumed it was for additional charges again. I checked my bank account later that day and saw that she had charged my card for both stays! I called Agoda and they said that they would call the hotel and get it taken care of. When I checked out to go home I asked Joe, the manager, to double check that my charges were taken off. I told him, in front of Karen, that she made the mistake with the charges. She gave me a look but showed no interest in finding out what she did wrong. It took Joe about 20 minutes to fix the charges. He apologized but Karen said nothing. She should have apologized also.

I recently spent two lovely days in Wildwood, MIssouri. This is a somewhat small town outside of St. Louis. Wildwood has a small area of shops and a few restaurants with an absolutely amazing boutique hotel which is "The Wildwood Hotel." Who would know it was there unless you had an event close by or it was recommended by a friend. I have been lucky enough to stay at 5 Star hotels a great number of times, so I can be a little critical about where I stay and what I look for in a hotel. The Wildwood Hotel is superb. From the minute I walked in and was greeted by Misty and Jeff and given a couple chocolate chip cookies I knew I would like this place. My room was on the top floor (there are only 4 floors to the building) which had a high ceiling with windows in it. (Not sky lights) The room was spotless upon arrival and cleaned to perfection each day. The bathroom had an oversized tub and pretty sink. (Not your basic hotel blah). I have nothing bad to say about my experience. It's great!

This hotel is adorable. It was a great price and in a great neighborhood. Couple of little shops and restaurants around the area in walking distance. The staff were nice, if not a little bit unprofessional, not towards me or other guests. Just in conversations you could hear between them. The hotel is a little dated but I think that is the charm of the place. Adorable wallpaper, antique style desk and phone. But still had a new bed and T.V. in the room. It had a cute little balcony outback you can eat at and mingle with other guests. The continental breakfast was actually a lot of food. You don't see that much variety usually. If you like historic architecture and old houses you have to stay here.
