chelsea park is well positioned in nelson and is within walking distance of the town centre with easy access to shops and restaurants. the rooms are clean and smart and the owners are extremely helpful. i will certainly stay again when i am next in nelson
This hotel was very clean and updated. Loved the patio our room came with, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom even had a towel warmer! We loved this hotel. Check in was quick and our room was ready to go. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights on our trip. Would definitely recommend this for anyone staying in Nelson!
I have stayed in many of the best hotels in the world, but this was a unique experience and much more enjoyable than a sterile, urban 5 star hotel. I rented 2 rooms and we could not have been treated better.

Room wasn't really clean. Glasses, plates and spare pillows and blankets needed a good clean. There were old coffee cup stains on bedside table and dining table. Carpet wasn't vacuumed when room was serviced. Wifi was limited to 500mb per day with the option to purchase more which seemed a little cheap. Mid City Motel is in Nelson CBD, everywhere is reachable within walking distance. They did provide free parking which is about 5min walking distance from the motel. Free laundry and free dryer are additional bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Was extremely impressed with the facility and its modern and ergonomic chattels. Jenny and Murray were extremely friendly and assisted in all facets of my stay. Highly recommend this property. Price was a little high but NYE certainly put all the Nelson hotel prices through the roof! It will be my accommodation of choice on my next stay! :)
Not far away from the Intercity bus station - a 5 minutes walk only. Google map does not know where. I was there on a Friday. Next to the hostel is a nightclub. So it was noisy. But with earplugs no problem. The owner was very friendly and he told me about the noise. If you use earplugs a very nice place to stay.

We had a great stay at Cambria House. Karel was very helpful and provided advice once we had booked, as well as during our stay. The cooked breakfast was great, and we loved the luxurious room. This motel is near the Nelson airport only 8 min drive. Some restaurants nearby within walking distance. There is a park and beach nearby where you can spend half day. Kitchen facilities were fine.
We booked the cheapest room, if we have to go again i will book for a bigger room with a view of nelson, this house was build in 1876 so its really really old, but the owners maintain the design of it, old phones , a big classy bathtub , and the breakfast were awesome you've got a big kitchen with plenty stuff to cook nd eat, it was great .

This is a very nice hostel!!! The dorm rooms are spacious and clean. The building is very nice and in a beautiful style. The staff is very helpfull and friendly and the facilities are just amazing! Other then that, the location is fine, the bar downstairs is very cosy and it's not noisy at all. A really good option if you're in sunny Nelson!!!

All Black weekend in Nelson. Free bus back from the park went right past our door. Very handy location to the airport and golf course which we played at. Great breakfast opportunity down the road at Montieths, KFC and Maccas nearby. Staff looked after our rooms while we were away with a spruce up. Did the trick nicely. Thanks from the team.

7 adults plus a baby. we stayed at their holiday home. everything was provided. however, they keep running out of hot water. though the house can accupy 8 pax, it is not enough for all of us to shower at one go. everything else was perfect, nonetheless. thank you!

We found the hotel perfectly located for the things we wanted to do while in Nelson. The environment was relaxed and the room size made for an easy chill out. The hosts are a lovely, friendly couple who obviously take great pride in their establishment. We got the impression that nothing would be too much. The Wairepo House with their lovely hosts is the best B&B experience we ever had. Rooms are well appointed and very nicely decorated, and the breakfast is just overwhelming!
a great place to stay and still is for all points you could mention. for us this was one the best places during our trip through nz. to say it in one word excellent, as their wines from which you certainely should open a bottle! the estate is located just outside nelson between vineyards in hope. horseriding trips are organised by one of their neoghbours.
We enjoyed our evening at the Baywick Inn. Place is surrounded by a lovely park. An easy stroll into town to get a bite to eat. Very friendly hosts with lots of tips to share. Comfortable bed and full breakfast that is hard to beat.
