Oregon State hotels & places to stay

The hotel is nicely located at the city centre, just next to the Portland State University. The transport network is excellent. It is convenient to travel around the city. However, as the hotel is located just next to a busy main street, the street noice outside may disturb your sleep. Given that it is a two star hotel, the room price is a bit too high.

Was concerned when I arrived that it might be too noisy given the location but it was ok. Not perfect but ok. Inside was eclectic but comfortable. Loved having comfortable, relaxing chairs. Good lighting. Wifi could be better but ok. Easy walking to restaurants. Thin walls.

Very clean and a great location walking distance to breweries and restaurants. Breakfast was a bit of a joke, it only runs 6-8 and then “cold breakfast” until 9 which consisted of some bread, bagels, butter and jam (no cream cheese) or fruit loops. It would probably be better to not offer breakfast at all. Room was nice, staff was friendly, would stay again.

I appreciate so much the indoor hot tub and warm pool. Even the in-room coffee is better than at most motels. Walls a little thin but the place has been updated re: furniture. My room had a microwave, refrigerator, flat screen, easy to use tv remote (not found in every hotel!). Easy parking. Quiet. Easy to get on Parkway and to get to various shops by walking or car.

Great if you want a inexpensive place to stay and you don’t mind staying in an old tried motel.

Pros: cheap, pretty close to downtown. Cons: smells terrible, and not feeling 100% safe.

The coffee pot could be bigger.

Wish all rooms were non smoking.

There were a few things that seemed to need repair, the table was missing, dead bolt on the door broken, faucets loud and hot water not always hot.....but, the service was excellent and the owner was busy repairing things and was so kind and friendly, we could over look all. We will return and were very pleased with how clean it was and the great price. Keep up the go...

Mattress was old and worn out. Brown water comes out of hot water for several minutes until it turns clear. On the positive side staff was friendly and accommodating. In general the maintenance person should be replaced and maintenance budget increased.

We stayed there for a conference in LaGrande, Oregon. My search revealed that this was the cheapest hotel in LaGrande, however, it certainly rated better than the price would indicate. Its an older facility, but well-maintained. Easy access from I-5. Parking was convenient. I had an upstairs room, and it was quiet and comfortable. Two queen-size beds. Very comfortable bed. Great Location. Easy on and off access to 101, yet still within walking distance of Nye Beach and historic area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Layout of the room is spacious with fridge and microwave. Thank you Rodeway!

Got 10% off dennys right next door for showing your key. Was reasonable for a solo drive up the 5 for a night's rest. Seemed safe. Nothing happened out of the ordinary while I was there and staff was friendly.

Good value.

The shower is nice; warm with good pressure and there was more than enough nice clean towels. Showering after a long hot road trip is the best feeling when settling into a new room. It was nice to have a parking space for the car in front of the room. Simple and does the job. Comforters are gaudy but can be overlooked for the price.

Everything about rooms is fine. Location, clean , space etc is just about good. Only issue we faced was that room had microwave but when using it would cut the electricity in room. We had to call to get it corrected. They need to improve this because if you provide something it should work.

the room was great but the toilet didn't flush and the shower pressure was terrible, but they are really trying to make this a great place. The manager was great.

Upon arrival I was greeted by two lovely hotel staff, who checked me in in a matter of seconds. They even gave me a map to find my room. Nice clean room friendly staff. Stayed 1 night driving home from idaho to san bernardino. Only complaint is that I couldn't connect to internet. Wifi was having problems

Starbucks and a get supermarket are virtually across the road and their is a laundromat if needed, half a mile down the road. Fair close to old town and the new town so a get location... In dire need of updating but for a one night stay not bad.
