Where to stay in Pahang State
Pahang State hotels & accommodations

Boom for 1 night and ended up extended for 2 nights in this hotel. This is my honest review and im soo loving it! The room is very spacious, all brand new furniture, got bath room, fully equipped and even got aircond. Stay in highest room for hotel (27th floor) and our room got best view! Looking over the mountain. The room got TV with selection of movie. They even p...

First think about parking, they should reserve the parking for customer booking the room in side the main building. They also must keep in touch with customer for let check in in the hotel such as call the customers. In the serious part in the last day at Cameron Highlands, have the landslide from lata iskandar to boarder Perak and Pahang. The receptionist should info...

located next to resort hotel next to Arena of the star. Check in was super easy as there is a kiosk to register and get the room access card. Likewise checkout was easy with a terminal to checkout and drop card. Room was clean and looks new. can sleep for 4-6 person. some complains - hotel has no car park and we need to park at resort hotel. there is no proper access f...

Our room was huge with a private garden cum balcony at the rear with fake grass. My son spent more time out there than being in the room. The hotel is new so everything was super clean, shiny and fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay there because our priority was comfort for our 3 year old son. He was all over the huge room and the person who enjoyed the most. The 3...

we have been visiting cherating periodically for the last 25 years. sadly, cherating is dying as a top tourist attraction on malaysia's east coast, with very low occupancy levels. however, the legend resort has bravely maintained its high standards. our room was newly renovated to far more modern style. the beach front and its activities and the 3 swimming pools are a...

A beautifully located 4 star resort with stunning views from out to sea and into the forest. The beautiful beach 'huts' are amazingly well styled and really bring you to a relaxed state of mind quickly. I also must say, the Club house/Reception/Dining building suites the relaxed way of life well. My only complaint may be relevant to the period we visited (CNY 2015...

My room was one bedroom suite twin bed. The room it very spacious, suitable for big family (with additional matress). There are mini-room inside the room just for the bed. divided by glass wall with sliding glass door. But, because of the room design, it felt a bit awkward watching TV through the glass. it's either 'if you want to watch TV, you have to go to the livin...

we went for a relaxing trip to cameron highlands, were two families, stayed for 4 nights in the hotel. upon reaching, we were asked if we need connected rooms. the connected rooms were really very helpful, which made us feel like at home with adjacent bedrooms. service level was good. a helper boy was available to carry your luggage. once we accidentally locked our ro...

i checked in to this hotel 3 months ago, and everything is still improving. after 3 months, i came back again for this hotel, i found everything has been improved and so well. i love it so much. Once i reach the front office, the front office staffs are so friendly and very helpful. my son was very tired, and they are so alerted on asking whether my son needs some dri...

The sole reason for travelling to Kuantan was because of the Pahang International Marathon 2018. My family and I had the best of time. The centralized location allows us to go to places with minimal amount of time spent on the road. ECM was within walking distance, had alot of choices to shop. The staffs are friendly, so does the public. Our compliments to the chef, ev...

We had been warned that The Smokehouse was expensive: this was not true, unless compared with other hotels. But other hotels have nothing on this trip down an British Memory Lane. From the outside, the well-maintained gardens and ivy-clad walls create an intimate cottage feel. This extends into the hotel interior, a horse-brassed and Windsor chair-filled fantasy remin...

We booked an ocean view suite, but we were upgraded to a beachfront villa because there were construction work near the main building where the ocean view suite is situated. We were absolutely surprised by the upgrade and service here exceeded our expectations. Staff is friendly and accommodating. What made our experience at The Kasturi was the little details. For inst...

I really love this place. They have very good facilities with a splendid view. Very neat and beautiful room. We as a couple, we were treasuring our moments in the room fantastically.. At night we spent our time listening to the life music while enjoying our drinks at the beach. This resort have plenty of chairs along the beach. Internet cannot be accessed from the ...

Our stay at Coconut Grove was AMAZING!!! We stayed 3 nights this week at 1511 Coconut Grove, on the eastern/Juara side of Tioman Island. We had a total of 5 nights on Tioman Island, but our final 2 nights were booked on the western side of the island at the Berjaya Tioman Resort. I am pleasantly surprised to say that our experience at 1511 Coconut Grove exceeded AL...

awana golf and country resort is located in genting highland which is the flagship integrated resort developed by genting group. it is nestled on a mountain peak (maximum elevation about 1860m) within the titiwangsa mountains on the border between the states of pahang and selangor of malaysia. resorts world genting is operated by genting malaysia berhad (formerly known...

We traveled with 3 kids. The room is very spacious and be able to accommodate all of us. It could have been great if the room is equipped with a heater as it was quiet cold due to heavy rain, which was lasted for few hours in late afternoon. The front-desk staffs are helpful and breakfast is okay. Overall, I am satisfied with Strawberry Park Resort, Cameron Highlan...

Fantastic resort in Pahang with great eco concept! With only 31 villas available at any time set in a vast landscape, there are never any crowds around even when fully booked out as it was over the long weekend we were there. Only peace and tranquility. There are activities for the kids with cycling and kayaking. Archery more for teenagers and older as they only have f...

Walking into the hotel, you would think that the room provided is going to be like in any other normal three-star hotels; the rooms are equipped with only the bare necessities. That turned out to be just the opposite. On the 8th floor where the family suite we were first given faces the sea view, and it was extremely spacious with decor that reflected rooms of a 4 or ...

This hotel is yet to be fully open. Still in their soft opening state. No wifi or front desk yet. Best to stay here when it's fully open in few months time. Night market is just opposite from hotel, which open on Fri and Sat nights. Staffs are superb and friendly. Will stay here again. Kudos staffs!

The stay was marvellous. I can park my car with ease. Not many people bring their car I guess. There is Mydin wholesale shopping in front of hotel. Everything is cheap here. But look out for the quality. Some of the goods are good quality despite being cheap. I love Kuantan food. I drive to Tanjung Lumpur for the so many sea food restaurants and warongs there. The food...

The rooms were spacious, bathroom was simple, dry and clean. The best remarks are for the breakfast. It's not your 5 star hotel standard but they have all you expect at a good 3 star hotel. The menu/ variety was good, quality of food was good. The hotel location was also very strategic. Walking distance to 3 big plazas. However we had to drive to due to rainy season. S...

Thruthfully I was considering whether to book or not ...so many negative reviews , but I followed my heart ... I was greeted warmly by the state , check in procedure was within 10 minutes ...I got room 103 ...first I checked the washroom ...ofcourse after reading so many negative comments ...but surprisingly it was clean ...my deluxe twin was comfy ...I give 5 star rat...

Should stay longer. Simply the best hotel in town with all internal features and surrounding with shopping complexes and nearby public attractions. One thing that I'am not sure whats is happening is why there is an additional bed which I never request for? And why the price to pay is very much higher than stated. Price stated but were charged +. How much is the cost ...

this is my 10times vacation in cameron highland. many hotel i stay before this. and this is my first time stay at heritage hotel. my 1st impression is the hotel very unique design. sejuk mata memandang. once i step inside the lobby, the staff at main entrance was very friendly and helpful. they help my family bring all the bags. then i go to the counter for check-in. i...

Nothing but good words for this place. It is a relatively new establishment so everything is very new and clean. We stayed in a Quad room with was very spacious, with a fridge, flat screen TV, balcony and TWO TOILETS (we saved so much waiting time because of this). The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk from the jetty which is super convenient getting on and off a bo...

Easily the best hotel in Cameron now.. awesome location.. try to get the room on the ground floor, same level as the reception so you'll have the garden with tables and swings at your doorstep! Dont worry about the room comes with no air-cond or fan.. you wont need them! Cameron Highlands was experiencing water shortage when we were there, but the hotel didnt seem to ...
Cheap places to stay in Pahang State

Easy to locate right next to KS Minimart/Klinik Wong in Brinchang, RM10 taxi from Tanah Rata, plenty eateries nearby. Big room, great price, cleanliness was impeccable, and they had great TV channels plus free flow tea. The best was the staff - easy check in (they already had my name ready on their list from Agoda and I felt very welcomed the moment I walked in), helpe...

I stayed here multiple times recently, and extended my stay this third time visit. Very clean and comfortable. The staff cleaned the toilets and common area everyday. Coffee and tea were available most time of the day. Best value comes with breakfast is more than you can ask for. The owner was very kind! I was also able to do laundry at times I wanted. The common area ...

I could dare this is the best hostel in Camrton Highland town. With a super convenient location & good food easily accessible, this hostel is clean & comfortable. they have a small cafe in house which serves amazing Strawberry Milkshake & Carrot Walnut cake. There's local night market just opposite in the weekend. The staffs Janice, Wynn, Hui min, etc are super helpful...

The only backpackers hostel that's cheap but comfortable nonetheless. Nothing much to say. But if you are a backpacker, this is the most suitable place to find a cheap place to stay and it's actually really okay. Will be coming back there again to stay.

Booked the private double room which was o.k but no window! Location was gr8 near to Tanah Rata town centre less than 3min walking and surrounded by restaueants mini markets cafes and other guest houses & hotels so meet up others will be convenient. Wifi was fast, kitchenette facility was gr8. Place was clean and staff are really friendly & helpful. Seggar was best ...

Had a "double bed shared bathroom", The room was large, had a queen size bed, a chair, small table and wooden sofa. A cupboard for hanging clothes, a flat screen TV and satellite receiver. Two towels and bars of soap. An electric water kettle and two cups. Tea, sugar and hot water is freely available. Common rooms with sofa and TV to meet fellow travelers. Toilet an...

This was an amazing place to stay. We got a tent, enjoying tropical rain at night (tent kept us safe and dry). The location is great, as you are just by the jungle river, and you get a free shuttle from / to town which is an experience in itself! Breakfast was good, but if you get up a bit later, there won't be too much left. Overall, very pleasant stay.

If only a swimming pool is available :) Quiet place and full of activities, guess we were the only guests on that day, but the staff tried their best to provide every single service we requested even if it's the fasting month. Will visit in someday for another chill and relax trip

Good location, easy enough to walk to after being dropped off by the bus but slightly off the central route so not too noisy. Polite and friendly staff. We stayed in a double room, and and well presented. Needed a little bit of work, but even when we were there they had closed one of the other rooms and were touching it up, so clearly the owners care about their pro...

Customer service: 10/10 They've been very helpful I should say, they might not be a 5 star hotel but the customer service gives them that 5 star! I was just checking with them through Facebook and haven't even booked yet but they still accomodate me and patiently answered my questions. Which made me decide they are the right one! They even provided the ferry schedule a...

We stayed at Agosto Hostel for one night. The facilities are great. Capsule style beds, hot showers, nice common area and good food plus beer. Further the stuff is incredible. Ann and Siti take really good care of their guests and make you feel like at home. After returning from our jungle trip ann offered us to use the facilities to clean up and rest for a bit plus sh...

I had an excellent stay in Hikers Sleep Port mostly because of the hospitality of the owner. She is always willing to help in providing recommendation and makes sure that I had the most comfortable stay. The place has a really cool vibe and is the best venue to interact with other travelers around the world. It is a must book!

this hotel is located in the city center which easy access to any attraction in Lipis. The facilities is fair but the price is cheap. I used to stay here several times. The breakfast is provided (even the choice is limited and taste also fair). Beware on the town authorities. Park your car accordingly and please buy the parking coupon. MBKK so active around this area

A cheap and basic room a short walk from the main village. There’s a great map on the wall of the key places to visit. One of the members of staff was very helpful and helped us plan our day in the rainforest. A little bit of TLC is needed in the bathrooms but we enjoyed our stay.

The small wooden huts look adorable. Of course, it is basis, but the bed was really good, and it was the best shower on our total trip in Malaysia! The owners are really nice and hospitable people and show you around, only the man likes alcohol in the evening really (too) much. The location is on a quiet hill, just 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Tanah Rata. Goo...

Initially booked for only 1 night, with plans to move to another hotel for the remainder of our stay if this hotel is not satisfying. But after arriving and seeing the room, we decided to extend our stay there for 2 more nights. For the asking price, the room is spacious, clean and everything looks new (maybe because it was only opened in 2013). Car park space will be ...

Me and a friend booked 4 nights but then decided to extend for one more night. The annoying thing was that when we arrived we expected a twin room but got a double bed. The staff said we need to put in the special request for a twin room but when we booked it said twin room with two twin bed as one of the room options, so we did not put it in the special request. We we...

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable and our balcony had tables and chairs and a nice view. Not much hot water; but we didn’t really need it considering the high outside temperature and the shower water pressure was good. One gripe is that, coming from Thailand, where two bottles of water per night are complimentary, water in our room was overpriced. The h...

Basically the hotel is good but not 100% clean. The hotel is located at residential area (double storey terrace house) but within walking distance to shop (7-Eleven, Cafe) and very near to town centre. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I stayed at lower ground floor next to receptionist and the room has some "mold smelling". I will consider to book this hote...

The hotel is located near the Kuantan Sentral Terminal and is next to Kompleks Belia Pahang. Room size is big but no lift make it difficult to carry heavy bags up to the room. Was given breakfast but don’t expect much. A simple fried rice, nuggets, bread and porridge.

Pro: 1.Good to stay 2.Strategic location, near business park with a lot cafe, local restauran, papa rich restauran. 3. Near (3 minutes drive) to Kubang Gajah Mini Waterpark, temerloh. 4. 5 minutes drive to temerloh old town to search for famous patin tempoyak. 5. Value for money RM120 (thru agoda) premium deluxe king with bath tub. Spacious room with complimentry frui...

This hotel is great value for money. Staff were very friendly, clean and comfortable place to stay. We stayed 5 days in August 2018 and enjoyed our staff. The kids enjoyed the 24-hour movie channel. The best alternative to over-priced Taman Negara accommodation. There is a daily public bus from Jerantut to Taman Negara at 8.00am and return at 7.00pm. We did this most o...

Responsiveness level from the staff makes your stay even better. They will entertain whatever requirement from the guest. We spent 6 nights at Paya beach Resort which was well placed close to the beach with glorious sunsets. We booked a standard room by the pond where a family of monitor lizards swam/lived ...

This is a full service hotel even though its rates may look like budget hotel rates. Situated on the bank of the Pahang river, the hotel provides a stunning view of the river from the rooms. The breakfast spread was better than most other hotels that I had been to. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a sofa and a writing table. Everything was wonderful except fo...
I booked Premier Family Suite and it stated 1 queen bed and 2 single beds however we only received 2 queen beds. It doesn't matter but please state on the details correctly. The view superb and the beach is clean. Water theme park pool is awesome. The internet speed is slow. Better use your own data. Overall the stay is average.

We had difficulties at first while checking in as there is a confusion between agoda and the hotel owner - or else the stay could have been rated 5 stars. The hotel owner have apologized and gave us the infamous mango cheesecake from Kula cakes. We appreciate his kind gesture and effort. The place is overall comfortable, great interior and the swimming pool was nice ...

Easy booking via Agoda and got a good rate. Place is great for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet surroundings, fresh clean air, and easy access to the river in Janda Baik. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom is clean and adequate. Breakfast buffet that we got was nasi lemak, kue-teow and bee hoon goreng. Also available, bread with the usua...

The best thing about the hotel is its right beside the beach and simply close to nature where trees and plants surrounding the people. Great thing about the hotel location is nearby the locals little stalls and little restaurants that sell super cheap local food and western food.

best view.. free break1st and sedap.. got space for my son play around with his toys.. its private calm and good place for spent time with family. love it so much.. they have a motorcycle for rent.. we use at night time ride to pasar malam caused its heavy traffic jammed. its cheap and worth it.

Actually this is my second time check-in here within 1 month. It's really a great location to go for holiday. This round we booked a bigger villa (sri pahang). This place was easy access to various eating locations within walking distance only. Hotel atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The private pool was nice. Staff was really helpful. Everything was wonderful.

The villa area still new. Very nice place to stay with family and children. The villa is clean and the environment very quiet. Check in and breakfast at Arabian Hotel. The staff is very friendly. The service also very efficient. We went on 2nd day Raya. Most of restaurant outside closed. We went to Tom Yam restaurant nearby and its dissappoited. The breakfast provided ...

I was desperately in need of some peaceful getaway after bustling weeks in office and I am glad that I came here. So I booked one tent just 2 days before we checked-in and worried if it might be overpriced. However, the place just met our expectations. The location is quiet and calm. The tent, toilet and bed is clean and neat. It might not be as luxurious as other glam...

The location is great, the staff are kind, but there were a few too many cockroaches and ants for my liking. Killed 5, maybe 6 cockroaches within 10 minutes of arriving. When I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I had ants crawling all over the bathroom which obviously surprised me while half-asleep. The room looked neat on arrival, but there were some cr...

- Spacious accommodation, with 6 rooms and 8 bathrooms - All rooms have attached bathroom, thus it's like your own hotel room - The accommodation has a simple but very nice furnishings - The area is gated and guarded, thus we felt super secured and safe - The accommodation is super clean when we checked in - Location is in Tanah Rata's town, thus super convenient to go...

Pros: Gorgeous beach front Nicely built resort rooms and lanscaping Awesome coastal bay view Cons: Have to travel by buggy Not accessible by car, mororbike or bicycle into rooms Chalet were closed down Welcoming drink were not suitable Receptional staff is not so welcoming Overall: 5 star rating-one of the best beach front hotel resort at east coast of Malaysia

The Check-In was smooth (Thanks to Patrick from frontdesk, who was patient enough to give all information). The Room was Clean and Spacious, and ofcourse had an Amazing view. We took a very early morning trip from mersing jetty to genting village at around 6.30am. Reach genting village at about 8.30am, we didnt need to wait long and japamala speedboat arrived. I was lucky to stay in the lake house hotel. I spent four wonderful nights. I felt as if I am at home. The service, friendly staff and atmosphere made my stay remarkable. Spent a 2 day 1 night short getaway in Bukit Tinggi Pahang and the Chateau is definitely the best place to stay at. Thumbs up on the exceptional guest service (from pre-arrival to post-stay), super clean room with comfortable bed, nice salt-based swimming pool with cabanas. Nice place to get away from the city!

The bus drop us off at Resort Hotel, so we got to take a few escalators to get to the hotel. check in was fast. however the room smells bad with cigarette. we had requested for a non-smoking room, however, the room still smell bad. breakfast was buffet style, the coffee counter is near the bar counter, all the way behind and away from the food line. limited food rang...

Because we were the only guests at the time there was no cook at the premises. So they drove us to a restaurant in Raub every evening. And when we left for Taman Negera they gave us a ride all the way to the boat dock in Tembeling. Thank you mr. Tan, thank you Andy. We will remember you. Love, David and Ans.

The interior room very clean and nice. The staff very nice and helpful. They reserved parking for my family due i have old mother in law that cannot walk far. the parking is nearest to my ground room apartment. recomended to large group or big family.

The apartment might be there for some times but can see the host did his/her best to keep house neat&clean. Host is attentive to my messages Never expect there’s Astro which kept me entertained at night There is kitchenware where you can cook Good for group of friends looking for a place to sleepover

stayed with 8 adults and 2 kids. pros: nice location.check in was easy.staff attended to our complaints promptly. adequate bed provided.free wifi. cons: kitchen equipment outdated. cups broken and some not clean. no cooking facilities. toilet door was faulty and one family member stucked inside. light burned out at the same toilet at middle of the night. living room f...

Very nice and helpful host, who text me before my arrival and send me the exact location of the apartment. Good if u are driving as it is a distance to Genting uphill. We travel in family with kids and baby, elderly and middle age adults. All needed stuffs were prepared in the homestay and make life so much easier. This is the first homestay that hit our expectations of 100 marks. I will definitely recommend to friends and family to book this homestay.

Upon entering the house look neat, tidy and clean. The room looks decent yet comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped which is super great because we did our cooking there with the fresh veges brought from the night market. The house is spacious enough for our family party of 6. We had a great time there and we hope others will too!

This is a new apartment, with security and free parking. A bit hard to get to if you have no car. Clean and spacious apartment, sufficient room for 6-7 pax. Mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, utensils and electric cooker for light cooking if need to. It is very clean too. Its about 20 -30 mins drive to Genting Resorts World. Overall, we love the place.
