Best hotels & accommodations in Palawan Province

We booked Coron Westown Resort mainly because they offered a family room style of accommodations. Instead of spending more for two rooms, it was the perfect room for five people. The location is about twenty minutes from the airport but shuttles to and from the airport is provided for a very minimal fee. It was also perfectly located about 10 minutes away from the ...

The great thing about Sheridan and its staff is how particularly accommodating they are. After booking a two night stay, I was disheartened to discover that the hotel only allowed airport transfers for three night stays. But since this was a policy I wasn’t informed of, we were picked up without additional charge. Since Sheridan is over two hours away across winding (y...

Cauayan Resorts was amazing! My wife and loved our stay at the resort. It was my first time to the Philippines and Palawan and I loved it! The resort was fairly new but there were no kinks to be worked out. The staff was great and my wife and I really felt like we had the island to ourselves! The food was delicious and our beach villa was amazing! The snorkeling ...

My kids enjoyed the pool. Superb service, polite staff, filipino dishes during breakfast buffet are very tasty. We had been into different hotels and resorts and yes, the rooms may not be a cozy carpeted 5 star type, but hey-it is a resort type and the floor tiles will always be wet and sandy coming home from pool or sandbar outside. Plus complimentary banana boat,sa...

This hotel is in a great location if you’re interested in doing the Coron Island excursions or you are taking the ferry to/from El Nido because it’s right at the Coron Port. The hotel and the rooms are really nice, clean, and modern, and they all face the port, so every room has a view of the water. With that said, please beware that you are facing an industrial port w...

We had a great stay here, the place is Nice and clean, the view is amazing. Also the shower is so good, unlike other places on palawan. The food is great. We had a room with view on the forest but there are enough places for a great sundowner at the hotel. It is located near the best beach in town. We enjoyed our stay so much that we Will go here again in a couple of d...

Everything was put together so well and it was so organized. The staff I would give a million stars to. They were always happy and helpful. The food, drinks, vibe was just perfect. We took advantage of all the activities they had to offer and each was just as good as the one before. Best massage of my life was here. We can’t wait to go back again. If I had to give any ...

Everything was amazing. Staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Restaurant food was 5 stars. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and just what we needed after our island tours. Location was central. Could walk everywhere. After walking past many other hotels, we knew we made the right decision. Other reviews talk about constru...

i can guarantee here is the best of best hotel in palawan, coron. in coron, there is not too many of hotels and almost are philippines style. so if this is a first trip to here, you feel hard to stay there. the size of resort was not very big but i like all, especially a room. alls are very clean and the room was quite. if i have chance to visit here again, definit...

Bluewave a family owned hotel was the best hotel from pick up in the airport to the room, the food they offered and all the staff, words cannot describe the four days we have spent in the hotel it was unforgettable. The hotel is very clean and it is very safe. All the Staff especially Alex, Faye and Ralf they went above and beyond to help us get settled and whatever w...

I recommend this resort who’s planning to go in Coron, palawan. We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights, and it feels so comfortable. All I can say is that, the place is so Peaceful and the ambience is perfect! Staffs are very hospitable. Very hands on to their guest. Everything is perfect here in Coron underwater resort. Food is also great, so you don’t need to worry, they ...

Don't miss this place before everyone finds the place. Beautiful European styled rooms with high ceilings and crown molding trim. Balcony overlooking the pool and Coron bay. Great bathroom with plenty of water pressure for the best shower in the Philippines. Cable tv and in room safe for valuables. Excellent buffet breakfast every day. Decent food other times at reas...

Beautiful, romantic resort in Palawan. Definitely an adventure to get to, (a chartered plane flight for 1 hour from Manila and then a 45 minute van ride to the boat, and 1.5 hour boat ride to the resort) but once you arrive you know you've arrived to paradise! You stay in a charming, romantic water-hut and have a great view of the sunset and clear ocean water. You w...

Went to Palawan for an online appointment with DFA for my sons passport renewal. It was our first time to visit Palawan as well, so decided to go sight seeing at Puerto Princesa after our appointment. We chose HUE hotel since it located right beside Robinsons Mall which is where DFA office is located. It is very convenient , you only need to walk to get to the mall. ...

We went to El Rio with our 2yo and 10mo kids. An all-in-one beachfront resort like this is a real find, as all the boat trips required to see the sights of Palawan are frankly too challenging with babies and toddlers. We spent 6 days at the resort and never felt the need to go anywhere. The diving and scuba are super right on the house reef, the spa has lots of service...

This place was great. The staff are friendly and understand English well. They will pick you you and drop you off from the airport for free (only about 5 minutes drive). There is a restaurant on-site which serves good food. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub. Be warned: most of the hotels in Palawan advertise WiFi, and they do have it, but it is not consistent....

stayed only one night as i bounced through coron on my way back from el nido, and i'm glad i chose to stay here. first, the korean couple who run the place are awesome. the woman said she worked for 7 years in a travel agency in boracay and it shows -- she has an amazingly good customer-service oriented disposition -- nothing is too much trouble to ask. and her english ...

We've stayed in similar quality hotels with beachfront locations all over S.E.Asia for consistently about 50% less cost. So Doublegem is horribly overpriced ... but then, so is all of El Nido it seems. Aside from the extremely poor value for money, it is one of the best options in El Nido, so if you're happy to pay for it, then it's a good choice. The view and location...

me and my partner decided to visit coron palawan to celebrate my birthday and i didn't know its the best place to propose too! the day of our arrival in coron by air phil was very good no delay, just on time. outside of the airport was the vans waiting for the hotel guest to pick us up and send to our respective hotels. i was shock and see my name on their board and th...

Here is the wonderful place to stay in Palawan. When you visit Palawan, you might expect something natural, fresh air and good food. Here resort has all of them. Swimming pool is just much more better than other place. Whem sum rising is amazing view. Just clam and good to stay here. Donot worry about going to city. There is shuttle to go to Robinson place. It's c...

we are very happy staying in a 4 star hotel. every time we mentioned the name of this hotel to our friends and business partners, they keep on mentioning wow! that is a nice hotel in palawan. we arrived earlier than we expected. we are welcome with our names written on their welcome stand near the front office. we felt like we are very much welcome in that place. ...

This hotel was a very welcome place of relaxation when arriving in Coron Town. The pool and grounds are beautiful and the restaurant was great. The bed and shower were the best we came across on Palawan! One thing I would recommend is booking a tour ahead of time for the day of arrival. We arrived around 10 and wanted to go to a beach but there are no nice beaches in d...

Our stay in Astoria Palawan has been really amazing. I celebrated my birthday there and inhad the best time. The moment we entered Astoria, we were welcomed by warm smiles. Every staff in the resort has been really courteous and hospitable. The room was really homey and clean. The pool was really inviting and it was a great feeling dipping into it especially at night. ...

It was my birthday trip to Palawan, and it was one of the most memorable vacations I've ever had! Being my first time in Palawan, I had no expectations. Yet my stay at Dos Palmas was over my imagination. The rooms were great, the bed the shower the balcony were all cozy and comfortable. We even had bicycles available for rent to get around the hotel grounds. The beach ...

When you arrive it's a shock. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. But you soon discover Palawan township is only minutes away. Such is the secluded and relaxing ambience of this charming and beautiful (especially with the lights on at night ) single story hotel, nestled under a huge acacia tree. The spacious rooms are mostly around the ample pool which ajoin...

the best hotel in palawan, great view, great staff, great location the hotel is very romantic we where there for our honeymoon we came for only 2 nights and we extended for 3 more ! the best recommendation you can take is to be there as long as you can and use the flights from el nido town - spoiling !

Hotel was beautiful, with well-kept grounds and an amazingly friendly staff. It is located a bit far from the main strip (relative term since El Nido is a small town), but that can be either a good or a bad thing depending on your point of view. There is free wifi in the lobby, but that would also be a complaint: there´s only free wifi in the lobby. Considering that...
Cheapest hotels in Palawan Province

Given that it's a budget lodge, I wasn't expecting much, although my expectations were definitely met, and even went way beyond it! The bookings were full so we were assigned in a different annex, but it's okay since I was able to meet this lovely Persian cat named Scarlett and the other three Chihuahuas! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for co...

So the Agoda location is correct but google maps has it wrong. I enjoyed this hostel although I didn't stay long, there is space to sit outside, its fairly close to the main road although along a dirt track and the breakfast was good, 2 eggs with toast and ham. The bunks were ok and there are some single beds as well. This would be my first choice for the city.

As first timers in Palawan, Sir Ray, the owner of the hotel, is the best person in the city! He makes sure that everyone in the building is having a great time. During our stay, he helped/taught us how to go around the city, suggested itineraries and even served us good food. Despite the on going expansion, our room was clean and airconditioned, bed sheets and towels w...

I love Sabang, it has a really lovely vibe to it and it was great to visit the underground river within “walking distance” rather than doing this as a day trip from Puerto. Although not on the beach, it is within an easy 5 min walking distance. Rooms are large and comfortable with a balcony and cheap 45 happy hour beers. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here agai...

I stayed here for 4 days and I was very pleased with the place. The location at first felt a bit unsafe, but after the first night I realized that I was quite safe, many families with cute little kids who say hello to you everyday! The rooms are clean and simple with shared toilets and kitchen. The best part for me was that they can arrange the tours for you; I booked ...

As expected, Palawan is a jungle, expect mosquitoes around, wear anti mosquito lotions, some fixtures were damaged, the word itself budget is really budget inn. They have garden area in the middle, where guests can chill and talk which causes noise in the area. Hope they can put a reminder in the area not to be noisy cause there are other guests sleeping especially a...

This is a convenient and cheap place to stay and it's a great place to meet people. I met some of the most incredible people while staying here and I am so glad I stayed here. It's a small place, you get what you paid for but it's right by the town and Brandon and Joy are so helpful in everything you ask for. Definitely recommend it as a young female solo traveler - th...

What an amazing place to stay at . The staff is very welcoming, once you arrive you are received with fresh coconut juice (extra points for that!) The hotel is just beautiful, very green and calm. I loved my room, it was nicely decorated and it had a great sitting area outside the hut, perfect to relax after the tours which can be booked at the reception. The best thin...

This is a new accommodation. I paid so little but Ryan and his staff were very hospitable I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Facilities are basic but very new. Genset is a definite plus for the price I paid. Only con is it's location as it's a 5 minute walk from the beach. But considering the overall value of what I paid, I will not complain. I had the best value for...

We have heard a lot about Phillipino friendliness and hospitality, yet we didn’t have a chance to experience until we came across Ursula’s Beach House. The owner and the staff were simply outstanding, went well out of their way to help us feel at home with a welcome drink. The food was the best we have tried during our 2-week stay in the Philippines, and on top of tha...

This quiet resort is really worth the 45 minute tricycle ride from the main town which is too crowded and loud with construction happening everywhere you look. Over here would be the complete opposite. Fresh air from the sea, with the beach a five minute walk away; the back side has mountain and garden views still with the sound of the ocean and the birds chirping. Nat...

I have booked one night in a tent and as soon as I got there I have extended and extended to 6 days! It’s the most tranquil place in front of the beach with very nice staff, excellent food and great people. Don’t let the tents on the pictures fool you, they are much more of a bungalow than a tent, I think they are old pictures. There is coconuts all around you, can m...

I give a 5 for value of money since it is rare to get as low prices in Philippines as in Thailand or Indonesia. In Philippines it seems rooms (usually I take some 3-star double with AC) cost the double. Coron is small so most of it would have 5 in location. It is only 20p to use tuktuk in case you are lazy to walk. Cleanliness gets 3 since I did not know where to han...

This is a bare minimum stay. We did not have any a/c and the single fan was almost unbearable to withstand the heat and humidity trapped in the room. There was a window (but no bug screen) and it opened up into the interior of the home/reception desk. There are a number of children (2-4 of them) who belong to the family of the guesthouse. They are often playing around ...

The hospitality of the owner is the best !! My flight was cancel so I arrive one day later, they totally understood and roll over my booking. Once arrive (after a small walk alone the sea from the center) I straight away feelt like welcoming by a friend !! During that day I was feeling little bit sick and the owner check on me all day, bring me some food, offer me to ...

I stayed here a total of 3 times during my 3 week stay on Palawan. Each time was a joy. The staff is attentive and helpful. It's located right near the Cathedral and not far from the port night market. It's located in a gorgeous old home. It's very well maintained. Shared bathrooms, simple rooms but comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Just a short walk from town centre, shopping malls, and baywalk (lovely views, especially at sunset). Hostel doesn't have restaurant but the staff made breakfast for me each morning (tea and toast) and there are plenty of places to get food nearby. Hostel is spotless, aircon in rooms is great, and because it's a new hostel it's quite quiet so I had a whole dorm to myse...

Natalie, Clarence & Jo were great! The place is very comfortable specially if you are travelling with children, the airport is just a walking distance, not even 1 minute we are there! The place is proximate to all local stores - 5 star for that! The local transpo is very easy to avail. Will go back to Palawan sometime in the future!

We spent in hotel 8 nights. First days it was like a shock. We expected low-quality, but we were not ready for room 2x2 meters, with no any place for your clothes except leaving all staff in your bag, self-service toilet without seat, 100% hearing through "paper walls", getting like “turbine noise” effect when your wall-neighbors switch on fan, a lot of ants, broken do...

location. one would go to el nido, palawan for r&r and to get away from the hustle & bustle of work. this goal was met by el nido resorts, miniloc island. the hotel is situated in a secluded cove that can only be reached by an outrigger boat from el nido town. it's peaceful, serene and quiet. a perfect getaway from the stress of the city. the beachfront the miniloc...

Club Paradise did not disappoint! From meeting us at the airport up to our departure, Club Paradise provided superb service. It was not just a "stay" at a resort. It was an experience. From the refreshments provided during transfer and upon arrival at the resort, to the complimentary welcome foot massage, to the afternoon snacks delivered to your bungalow - it was ...

We are a family with four young children (10, 8, 5, 2). We had a wonderful experience at this resort. The staff gave fantastic service, and were constantly looking for ways to serve us. The resort is a bit out of town, which we didn't mind. Tricycle rides for our family of 6 were about 100 pesos and about 50 for one person. The pool is fantastic, and the room were...

The hotel is well appointed. Location wise, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the town center and beach area. We got a deluxe room and the amenities were exceptional. I especially appreciated the locally-woven buri slippers. The only problem we had was the internet, which is slow at best and the hotel wifi wasn’t working at all. The staff are very hospitable and friendl...

We had one of our best stays at pukka beach in Palawan. The hotels funky decor is charming. Staff are super nice and accommodating. Especially Josephine the front desk manager. It’s a great place to unwind after a long day of touring. The owner has dogs in case anyone has allergy to pets. Outpost hostel is right beside the hotel which is more party place. Next to that ...

We booked in here for the last 3 days of our 3 week journey. We loved staying here. We didn't leave the hotel much, except to walk to a local shop for water, and a few other necessities. We laid by the pool all day and ate in the restaurant when we were hungry. One night we wanted something different, and had food delivered to the room. It was so convenient, we loved i...

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago, for 4 nights and it was truly amazing! Palawan is stunning, and this resort is in the perfect location. The little huts are gorgeous, pool is amazing, and the staff are the best we have ever come by! So helpful and so lovely. The only downside was the wifi, and the dinner menu could have been a little more extensive...

I was there on my birthday for two days. Know many hotels in Palawan and want just something special. I felt like in all the good business hotels i stayed for conferences or work. But as a Palawan tourist i felt not in a tropic island, just had the imagination of another town. Pool a bit boring, view to the wall. Price for food and drinks really much higher then other ...

I rarely post reviews, but for them I have to. I am very very happy on how the hotel looks exactly as advertised. Excellent rooms, superb cleanliness, and awesome hospitality. When they learned that we went there for my son's birthday, we were surprised by balloons and birthday greetings in our room. Then in the afternoon while my kids are enjoying their pool, the staf...

I had to attend a wedding in Palawan, and the only remaining hotel was Daluyon. I was reading some bad reviews (one rather scathing) and I was wary to book, but had no choice. But, we were PLEASANTLY SUPRISED with Daluyon! When we arrived, they practiced real service — offering us an available room even though it was too early to check in! That was super thoughtful. T...

Hotel Fleuris is a wonderful little Palawan hotel. The rooms are large enough for your stay, and they were always clean. There is free internet in the lobby/bar/coffee shop (not in the rooms, but it is still free). There is a tour agency adjacent to the building to book tours to all the main attractions on Palawan at a reasonable price. There is airport pickup by v...

My husband's head was accidentally hit in their overhang cement of their second floor stars, when I told the management to put a caution sign and paint it yellow, they take actions immediately, when I request for early check in, they are hospitable to agree with our request and accommodate our booked rooms. The place is is very clean, close to local restaurants, excel...

We stayed at Noa Noa for three nights, and it was the most beautiful place we stayed at, we wish we could've stayed longer. Everything is so well arranged and focused on the guest having a great stay. The island is secluded and is truly beautiful. The coral around the island is so beautiful, the best we've seen in Palawan. The food was amazing, really tasty and more t...

Probably the best place to stay in El Nido with incredible views, and the best sunset on their infinity pool. Villas are clean & spacious villas with super view, and the staff is really nice, helpful and friendly. Best wifi in town, and works better than the internet hotspot we got

This is a superb place if you want to be away from hustle and bustle and feel taken care of . Stunning views, first class freshly prepared food with extensive vegetarian selection. Staff who all seem to genuinely want your stay to be perfect. Individual service which is unobtrusive and first class. The pool and restaurant area is lovely with comfy loungers, even nec...

From our arrival to departure, our stay was absolutely wonderful! Every single staff we encountered were courteous, friendly, attentive, responsive, helpful and accommodating. The resort is clean, well maintained, quiet. We enjoyed our pool time with happy hour; the air-conditioned playroom equipped with ping-pong table, board games, crafts, etc. the kids spent hours...

Vienna hotel is a place where you can relax and yet convenient to tour within Coron town proper. We visited Coron last Aug 7-10, 2019. We had a rough plane trip due to bad weather on our first day. This is our first time to Coron and to booked at Vienna Hotel. Its quite pricey than the others but its all worth it for us. We booked a room with King Size bed(Couple). The...

My best friend and I were able to book this villa last minute since our flight got delayed and we missed the ferry to our original hotel stay. The transition was as smooth as can be! My partner and I stayed at the Coral Bay Resort for four nights in early March 2012. We planned on only spending part of our stay at this resort diving but it was soo good that we ended up spending the majority of our stay diving. Dur...

Cauayan Resorts was amazing! My wife and loved our stay at the resort. It was my first time to the Philippines and Palawan and I loved it! What a fantastic place!!! This is certainly paradise on earth! Superb location, beautifully built and landscaped. Both our children are certified open water scuba divers and the Aqua center at the resort ...

The best thing about Huma is its staff. They were excellent, and bent over backwards to be able to deliver service. Having experienced other luxury places in Palawan, I would say that the value for money of the accommodation needs to improve. Other than that, the food and services were reasonably priced. The SPA facilities and services are excellent. I loved that whole...

When you go search for rooms to stay in Coron, Palawan, most likely you return with two types of accommodation. There are the numerous budget hotels that you can commonly find in the town center and are close to the port where you take off for your island hopping or other water activities. On the opposite spectrum are the luxury resorts that are remote but expectedly h...

We had wonderful time on this remote island, about 1h boat ride from Coron. The hotel is really small which creates intimate atmosphere and the true paradise feeling. The beach space is very well organised, so that each guest can find their own space to relax or join other guests in the open restaurant. We enjoyed especially hammocks and huge sofa from which, in the e...

The place is amazing! They have an excellent swimming pools! One thing that this place sets apart from the other resorts here in El Nido Palawan is their honesty. We forgot one of our bags at the resort when we discovered it while we were about to board the plane. The resort went above and beyond by searching for it and sent it back to Manila on the same day. Very...

This place actually exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with my friends to Coron on Christmas and almost everything was overbooked and decided to go here. I honestly thought it would be a very bad place with just cute pictures on the site, but it’s the first time in Asia that the pictures actually correspond to what they offer and even more. So the pool is actu...

When we arrived we were told that our room had been given to a walk in because they were not aware of our reservation. Later we found that the information was not communicated to the staff on site. We were put in the owners personal room and asked to stay there a few days until the other people checked out. We refused and said that we would make a complaint with the...

We got lucky that we booked on this place. It is only a minute walk to see a beautiful sunset. We got the Family Quad which very spavious for its price. The Staff was very accomodating. I hurt my self, and ate Che,the front desk gave us some pain pill without us asking. Its only a 10 minute ride from the main part of el nido. I would definitely recommend this place.
