However, the two rooms had malfunctioning facilities (one with air-condition and another with piping issues). Anyway, the staffs helped fix...

i Tara Resort and Spa is a gem in the Phetchaburi area. The secluded beach is pleasant despite having quite a few shells scattered around. Staff are very friendly and attentive plus the breakfast included is pretty good. You choose the options from the menu ranging from Thai dishes up to American breakfast and Danish pastries. The Beach bungalow is an excellent roo...

This is a great resort just outside of the main town of Cha-Am. Set on a nice beach in a quiet locale, Verona offers serenity and calm, great service, and a fantastic on-site Thai restaurant. The location is a bit remote from the 'main action' (1000bht return taxi ride to Cha-am beach), but once we saw Cha-am beach (which could only euphemistically be described as a 's...

I am somewhat hesitant to quibble over the problems with the service because I really did enjoy my stay at the Boathouse Paradise Resort. It was a very beautiful place, right on the reservoir/lake. It was very quiet, peaceful. The swimming pool is large and clean and well designed. The rooms are intricately designed so that you feel like you are in a cabin on a lar...

We were the first customer they had and they did a pretty good job at making us feel welcome. They greeted us with a welcome drink and upgraded us to their jacuzzi suite. Most of their villas are duplex and the wet bar (beer and soft drinks and snacks) are free of charge of restocked daily. The hotel is new and is located right next to the beachfront. There is no s...

The room we got was very spacious and well-decorated even if the wooden floor is a bit worn out. The bedroom has a very large and comfy king size bed, and the bathroom is very clean except for the floor on the outdoor shower that has many leaves. The view of the sea that this hotel gives is very spectacular and this would be a great place for all beach lovers. The br...

Lovely place. Had not expected this kind of boutique small resort in this area. Excellent service. Their staff made us feel as if we had our own private villa by the sea. Had no issue with the so-called Thai breakfast. I had egg and oatmeal with honey as they recommended, daughter ate pork congee, and husband had hainanese chicken rice. Tip: We asked for their Engli...

We loved staying at this hotel. The setting is beautiful and we loved having breakfast in our room in the morning instead of the usual impersonal dining room usually found in hotels. Staff were helpful though their English is a little limited. All said, we had a fabulous stay and will definitely return.

We were a group of three staying in two rooms, and really enjoyed our one-night stay here during a long weekend roadtrip around Phetchaburi. The view was excellent, it was quiet and peaceful (surprising lack of bugs for being by water, although maybe we were lucky). They put our three bikes for us, which we didn't have time to use, unfortunately. 'Outdoor' bathroom was...

The hotel is right on the Kraeng Krachang reservoir. Great view from the hotel room. Staff were friendly. When we traveled, the lake was overflowing and the villas were under water. we stayed int the building which was above water. The restaurant of the hotel was under water too. But the rate was cheap and you better not expect much. Absolutely value for money.

We have stayed there a couple times already and each time we visited, new fun things are added to the resort. Food is quite good and very reasonably priced, served at a new dining hall. This is a very nice hotel, but it comes with two problems. First, it is on a street with no name. It's new, and no taxi drivers had any idea of where it is. Even after they called for directions, they had a hard time because it is tucked away in a small cul-d-sac away from the main road. Second, despite the hotel's advertising for international travelers on Agoda, n...

The most charming of this resort is its green environment with a nice river view. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and kind. We had a dinner there, the food is fair, but the fish in a soy bean sup was not fresh so ended up that we couldn't eat it.

stayed there the second time and it's great for staying and playing golf. Staff is very nice as well. it is rather remote though and it takes a while (driving) to get to restaurants, etc. Only real downside are the beds though - way too hard and was not really able to get a good sleep there.
