Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur hotels & accommodations

Lovely hotel ,customer service excellent, room was very small but immaculate comfy bed and ideal for a short visit ,would upgrade room if I ever go back but overall very happy with stay, work being done at the back of hotel outside so if you looking for a lie in change room ,didn't bother me as up at 7.30 am . Also the hotel requests a 400 euro refundable deposit held...

The hotel was perfect for us. We were in Nice to see the sites and everything on the Cote d'Azur, so we spent little time in the hotel, but it was exactly what we needed. Amazing location, really central. Easy to get to from the airport. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and even a supermarket on the same street, should you need it. The hotel was very very c...

We stayed in room 22 and I’m glad I spent a little extra on it. The view is spectacular. There is a balcony and you can surely enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine!!! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom clean. The staff are very courteous. We arrived early however the very sweet lady at the reception let is check in early! The breakfast was good. The lady and the you...

the hotel was clean and quite nice , also the staff was good/responsive, but they need to improve some things: wifi was very poor, bathrobes were of terrible quality, no place to hang towel, walls kind of thin so noisy, chairs and table in room were meant for a dwarf, rug looked very cheap, and room service mention was very limited.

The Mercure really performed, it was a bit surprising being that this is a big chain. Usually you get this kind of attention to detail with a boutique hotel, but the Mercure really did a lot of things really great. LOCATION: This is the best located hotel in all of Nice. You are right across the street from the beach, you are an amble away from the Cours Saley with t...

Location is perfect. Next to train station and just outside the wall. Underground parking is available for €15. When we arrived, the ticket machine was broken and there's no parking attendant. So we went up to hotel reception and got a ticket to access In/out from parkade. Hotel offers L'Occitane amendities and it's pretty nice. Room was spacious. My husband and our...

Really nice hotel in a great position for central nice and the old town. Excellent staff. My only criticism is that the indoor pool was not heated anything like enough. It needs checking daily and adjusting when necessary. It is not the point that it’s connected to the outdoor via a plastic cover and that’s why it cold. It simply needs turning up the heat to make like...

Jean-Claude in the reception helped us out with everything, a real star, and the rest of the crew there aswell. The staff around the pool could need some more training and work on the service. Other than that its a very nice place with the best location. Jenny

Fantastic old Dame of a hotel, just a garden away from the Negresco but significantly less expensive. Nicely refurbished rooms, some with fantastic views. Staff all very efficient and kind. We were upgraded to a larger rooms as we had booked twin beds and originally assigned a queen. This was a corner unit, handicapped accessible with large wet bathroom. Some d...

Hotel is beautiful, in good location. Beach front is great, only negative is you must reserve beach chairs in advance no where did I see this or know to do this before checking in so they were booked full. However it being are honeymoon the staff took special care of us and basically made us a spot. Would stay again.

Great stay, only one night as in transit. We were happy with the location, in the Old Town, much more interesting that the new part. The beach is only one block away, and there is a private beach for guests (though you have to book ahead and pay). Beaches are poor after Australia - pebbles and people jammed in like sardines. However, the beach is a place to be see...

Clean and cozy room at a very convenient location in the city center. Nice and helpful staff. If you arrive at late night, ask them in advance so they will instruct you how to get in the room even after their reception time is ended and you can officially check-in next morning. Some simple kitchen equipment, dinnerware and cutlery are provided in the room so you can c...

Lovely hotel - have stayed here a few times - stayed in a classic room which is very well laid out and a good size - nice and light and bright with lots of hanging space, comfy large bed, desk space to work if you need it and really nice chic interior - it does look like the photos. We stayed on the street but you couldnt hear a thing which was my concern. I prefer t...

I booked this hotel because it was near to the place I am going to board a midnight bus nearby. I did not expect a high quality of apartment hotel since I have been travelling a lot but Appart'City was really surprised me with the clean room and kitchenette and toilet. I particularly like the kitchenette because got dish washer and even microwave though the place is sm...

It was an awesome view of the Nice rivera, worth all it takes to stay at Radisson Blu. It was a clean hotel and the front desk staff was very helpful in checking us in, giving an upgrade to a room with very good view. There is a tram station right behind the hotel from where airport and the old town are away just a 7-8 minutes ride. There was excellent breakfast and ...

We had a great 2 nights stop over in Nice. Check in is super quick. All staff was nice and friendly and spoke good English. Close to train stations but beware the taxis here is a rip off 25 euros for less then 15 min taxi ride from Nice Ville station to the hotel... Come on! Room was clean although the carpet could do with a good scrub. There's a lot of Halal butchers,...

I stayed in Hotel Ozz as a single female traveller for 5 nights. It was the best decision I ever made. With the option of female only dormitories, I met lots of other female travellers and had a great holiday. The beds also had draw-around curtains and a light and powerpoint at each bed, making them private and comfortable. The hostel itself was clean, bright and w...

The hotel was good and but I was truly disappointed by the front counter misrepresentation. It is the practice that front counter during the check in will highlight whether the booking is with or without breakfast and if it is without breakfast front counter will offer the breakfast package by letting know the guest the breakfast cost per pax. Such is the practice acro...

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. It started with a warm welcome at the front desk with well informed staff. We liked the location of the hotel convenient to tourist areas, old town, walking streets and restaurants. The good buffet breakfast and the free newspapers available in the lobby were a nice bunus. We understand that free internet is coming soon but we had t...

The hotel is at a great location in Nice, few blocks away from the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel staff are all very friendly and accommodating specially Jessica. They have daily happy hour at the bar and all guest are invited for free drinks wine or beer.

We enjoyed our 9-day stay in Goldstar Resort. The suite (room nr. 501) included a separate bedroom for us parents and comfortable sofa beds for our school-aged kids. A fridge in the kitchenette, separate toilet and bathroom and lots of space was appreciated by us. Location is very good - close to railway station where we took a train to Monaco and a waterpark Aquasplas...

Very good hotel. Clean spacious rooms, very good breakfast and of course very friendly staff. The hotel is located about 2km from the happening place. You may walk 20-30 minutes or take tram in front of the hotel cost Euro1.50 per ride or can buy 10 rides at Euro10 or even day pass etc from the machine at the stop.

The hotel has a good location about 6-8 minutes from the beach. My room overlooking the outdoor pool was lovely. Clothes closet space was limited. The staff was very accommodating. The only negative was that I had to pay an additional city tax upon departure. It was not a large amount, but I thought the total bill had been prepaid. An unexpected plus was that there...

Well, this was a first for us - staying in hostel-type accommodation. Our ensuite double room, in an adjacent block which was formerly a 2 star hotel, didn't have the best of views but then we were only in it to sleep and shower. In the hostel building itself you'll meet people from all over the world (young and not so young). The staff are very helpful and friendly, a...

I highly recommend l'hôtel la Belle Meunière! The staff is very friendly and service minded and the room was nice and clean. I stayed in a room with three other people and we had our own bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower worked very well and we had a nice air conditioner in the room. Me and my friend spend severa...

My stay was astounding. By far the BEST hostel in Nice! If you stay at Faubourg Montmartre Guest House--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, provide guests with very good hospitality. You won't be disappointed if you book a bed here. Give them a try, see how you can experience NICE in a truly unforgettable time.

Looks like it's by far the most popular hostel in Marseilles, so you'll meet a lot of other travelers there. However, the particular room I was in (B6) had this shower with a tile floor that was falling apart. Worse yet, the toilet is in another room, with no way to wash your hands without going to the bathrooms. Finally, the terrace is right below the neighbor's so yo...

The good things is that hotel is really near to the train station. But the downside is that the hotel only provides very basic facilities. If you are only looking for a place to sleep for one night and enjoy the day in the nearby town, it will be great. But if you wish to find a comfortable hotel to sleep, it will not be your choice.

Location is good, about 500m apart from the Avignon Centre station. very easy to find as it is just opposite to the tourism office. the room is quite spacious, they gave us a triple-bed room though we have only booked a double-bed. the price did not include breakfast but anyway you may not want to eat in the hotel because the lounge is very small, only could contain 6-...

i stayed here for 4 nights and I would definitely come back. Even though we shared the bathroom (I was in the dorm), it was always clean and there was never timing issues. The room was comfortable and I had breakfast with sea view every morning. The breakfast was simple but I quite enjoyed it! Hosts were discreet and hardly ever around. The location is perfect for dis...

My partner and I really wanted to base ourselves in Menton for 2 nights so that we could have some time to explore the nearby villages as well as Monaco. Unfortunately we had left things a little late and we had a lot of trouble securing a decently priced hotel. At first we were a bit concerned by the images of the place as I generally like clean and modern hotels with...

The receptionists were always really kind and friendly. Also, the room was clean and tidy with a tv, shower and fan. There was safe, secure and free parking on site and a lovely patio with tables at the back of the hotel. Tarascon is actually a really nice little city too, and it's perfect for making day trips to neighbouring towns and cities in Provence. Would definit...

Bathroom is so small you must be a midget to fit in the shower! The room had no heat and the bathroom had broken items! Amazingly though, it had to operable ashtrays, even though the hotel is non smoking. If you are looking for cheap and are a young person.....go for it. Otherwise, avoid. From the end of the twin bed to a wall is 15 inches.....15. Small.

First time visit to Nice for a couple for days, this hotel is really convenient as it is located about 10 minutes walk from the Train Station (we travelled via TGV from Paris) and about 20 minutes to the beach, or 15 minutes to the food street/ shopping street. Perfect location as long as you do not hate walking. The room is actually pretty nice and the receptionist wa...

Booked this room last minute and couldn't be happier! Staff were friendly and attentive to our every request. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Internet fast and perfect location - 15 minute walk to beach, next to train and team station, as well as shops and many restaurants or fast food outlets!

The hotel is far from the center of the city or sightseeing spots, but bus trassportation is available. Bus station is at near Carrefour close to the hotel. Note that the number of buses are limited and there is no bus in night time. This hotel is a kind of motel and useful for travelers with a car.
4-star hotels in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur

We stayed in room 22 and I’m glad I spent a little extra on it. The view is spectacular. There is a balcony and you can surely enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine!!! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom clean. The staff are very courteous. We arrived early however the very sweet lady at the reception let is check in early! The breakfast was good. The lady and the you...

The Mercure really performed, it was a bit surprising being that this is a big chain. Usually you get this kind of attention to detail with a boutique hotel, but the Mercure really did a lot of things really great. LOCATION: This is the best located hotel in all of Nice.

We had a lot difficulties in finding the hotel because people tended to point different directions for the same place...The hotel is quite close to the city centre, walking distance to shopping malls and Carrefour. There is a variety of TV Channels which is really a plus for non-French speakers. The only downside is that it is a bit further away from the beach.

Could not fault the hotel. Extremely happy with hotel location. We had the top level with the gorgeous balcony & chairs overlooking the marina. As they had a kettle we were able to have a relaxing cup of tea each night at the end of the day. Our daughters were two levels below us. They also had view to the marina with stand up balcony. Was perfect for them....

my wife and i were on a road trip around europe so one of the points for choosing this hotel was that it had secure parking. parking is very convenient and is located directly opposite the hotel in a multi-storey with its own private section which can only be accessed with a key code. we also chose this hotel for its location and price. in fact we were visiting monaco...

This hotel is good location,5 minutes walk to promanade de anglais. And you can walk to Place Massena,it's have shopping mall and many restaurent. And staff, she's very nice can speak English very well. And we got the first room but we don't like, she try to find the new room for us.And it's very best room for us,very nice view from balcony.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Best Western Antibes. We booked at the last minute and were lucky enough to be upgraded for our room. Awfull!! At checkin we were told our paid-2-months-in-advance reservations are not valid ! There were 2 adults and two kids, but apparently their hotel doesn’t allow this ! One parent and one child per room , only! Excuse me??? Our booking voucher clearly states 2 adults+2 kids, but the receptionists didn’t even want to look at our voucher ! Kept repeating “hotel polic...

We arrived a bit later than expected, reception were more than helpful, and then as we didn't want a large dinner the chef prepared a most delicious smoked salmon salad. The building is beautiful, the bedroom large and comfortable, a lovely romantic place to stay.

Loved the staff there, so friendly and nice. We were there during the World Cup and it was fun watching the game with the guests in the lobby of the hotel! Location very good, could be slightly better but definitely not bad at all! There's a tram stop right outside the hotel where you can get to the centre with literally 2 stops.

We were expecting a poor quality hotel given the price we paid, and also some of the reviews we had read after booking. But we were so impressed by the standard given how little we paid for the room! It was clean, tidy and spacious with air con, a safe, a mini fridge and hairdryer. Fresh daily towels and the comfiest pillows... we didn't want to leave. The reception s...

Kind staff and good location. We even liked the complimentary hat. We added a night as a separate reservation and had to pay additional because the two websites used different names for the type of room. Disappointment about the hotel: Just one bottle of complimentary water and even no water for the second night. Disappointment about Agoda: I paid three dolloars more ...

Also the hotel requests a 400 euro refundable deposit held...

the hotel was clean and quite nice , also the staff was good/responsive, but they need to improve some things: wifi was very poor, bathrobes were of terrible quality, no place to hang towel, walls kind of thin so noisy, chairs and table in room were meant for a dwarf, rug looked very cheap, and room service mention was very limited.

Pros : Excellent friendly and efficiency staff Lovely traditional room and bathroom Rexaxed atmosphere. This is a fantastic and charming chateau with a vineyard producing award-winning wines. The bedroom is extremely clean and spacious. We had the great fortune of staying for 3 nights in what was peak season. We'd heard and read that the town would be a madhouse but since the hotel was pretty much in the center of it, we were privy to peaceful and beautiful mornings and lovely post-tourist-throng evenings. The people who work there are all friendly, eloquent and very very helpful. My French husband...

The front door is located along a narrow side street which on arrival didn't seem so convenient, but once we had unloaded the suitcases and found the parking garage 3 mins walk away it was easy. Superb! Perhaps one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Service was second to none, room was charming yet elegant and the food at the restaurant...it was just brilliant! The hotel is also set in amongst acres of olive trees... Will definitely go back and highly recommended for anyone!

we arrived at aix en provence metro and walked out to find no taxi's to be seen until a friendly lady called one for us. we finally got into a taxi to head to la maison to find out the taxi driver didn't know where he was going. a cab ride that should of cost a few euro's ended up costing 10 euro's. once we arrived outside of the hotel i was so disappointed i thought...

Perfect. We are a young couple from Singapore. Without even asking, the owners gave us a free upgrade to their Suite which included an outdoor jacuzzi (pre-warmed to 39degrees perfect for a morning dip even in winter). The Suite was luxurious, spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast served to our rooms included freshly squeezed orange juice, an assortment of fresh bre...

…all the superlatives in the world would not be enough to describe this place. Everything is white, which intensifies the superb Cote d'Azure light. Everything is marble and crystal and glass.
