Where to stay in Rhode Island
Rhode Island hotels & accommodations

I loved staying at the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina for the JazzFest 2019. This is my seventh JazzFest and we were finally able to get a room here by luck. The Hotel is at the center of it all and within walking distance of everything including Goat Island. I love the fact that we could park even before checking in because we were late for our reservation at 22Bowens...

We were not considering Rhode Island as part of our holiday, but our flight home was from Providence/T.F. Green airport, so decided to stop of at Providence for one night. Room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The high floors give an excellent view over the city. If we are in Providence again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Our stay at Providence Biltmore Hotel was a good experience. The hotel was located in the city center, very close and walking distance to the largest mall in Rhode Island. Biltmore is a historical hotel, as is evidenced by its architecture and pictures lining the halls showing famous people like Audrey Hepburn. The room was very big and spacious. Though it was a bit o...

Hotel was in a great area so I understand why prices were high. Staff was very accommodating and room was excellent. However for $300 a night I would expect at minimum to have breakfast included. You also have to pay $25 extra a night to park at the hotel, this is not included in your room fee.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Nylo for the first time and we both had such an amazing time! The staff at first were a little off putting (guy at the front desk was not as welcoming as we needed) but other then that one staff member, everyone else were incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms and views in this place are beautiful definitely worth every cent we spent....

I was so excited to spend a weekend away at this hotel and ended up rather disappointed. To start, our room was clean, below average in size and had a window with a view of the wall of the building. We were visiting in the off season and the hotel was not crowded, so I do not understand why that was the room we were given. However, I was very excited to enjoy the hote...

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western after attending a wedding in Sharon, MA. It is definitely an older establishment, but we enjoyed the fact that it was tucked away, quiet, and in a scenic location. It was easy to get back and forth from the wedding, and home to Philadelphia. Great staff members!

So, we were up in Providence to visit friends and attend an annual dinner event. This was our first time staying here; we chose it because it was about $50 cheaper than the hotel we usually stay out. All in all, it's a good value, but there were a few things that really bugged us: 1. Walking in, the whole place smelled as though it had been sprayed with Febreeze. My h...

The location is one first beach. If you’re looking to be right near the beach then maybe this is an option but there are two better hotels right in the same spot. The place is outdated, not overly clean and is showing a lot of wear. The smells are not pleasant at all. The pool area is very small. The breakfast area is a tiny room on the second floor consistent with wha...

Best Western Airport Inn is so close to the airport you can literally see the hotel from the airport rental car return place. You can use the over-highway walkway to go straight to arrivals and request a pickup shuttle to the hotel, so you can drop your car off the night before and save time in the morning. (Yes, they will shuttle you back to the airport in the morning...

Compared to other hotels, this was the best value. We stayed here to visit Newport. Our battery was dead when we went to leave. The maintenance man jump started our car for us. Excellent personnel at this hotel. Front desk and restaurants had nice friendly, attentive people.

Great breakfast included with lots of options for adults and children: coffee, juice, tea, cereals, bread, boiled eggs, waffles, fruit. Great service and staff very friendly. The swimming pool is warm and well maintained. It is a great option if you are planning to do sightseeing in Newport and traveling with kids. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this hotel as the value for money is great and the facilities are very contemporary and modern. The rooms are spacious and we had actually booked a room for 2 people but received a queen bed, when we told reception not only did staff give us a more appropriate room with 2 beds, they gave us a slight upgrade with a partial view of the sea and th...

We had a great time. The suite was huge and perfect for a family with teens. The fitness center and pool were small, but sufficient. The location can't be beat. The decor is dated and older, but that didn't bother us, especially with the low price. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Complimentary shuttle service from T.F. Green Airport to the hotel was greatly welcomed as we reached the airport past midnight. Reception staff was friendly, and the hotel had amenities such as a gym and swimming pool. The room was spacious and comfortable. It would be even better if the bottled water in the room could be provided free to non-hilton honors guests as w...

We spent the night on Saturday, October 27. Easy check-in, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We didn't take advantage of the pool or the free breakfast because we were in town visiting friends in nearby Providence, but overall we were impressed with what this hotel offered. It was a much better choice value-for-dollar than anything comparable in Providence, so we were h...

The continental breakfast is fine and basic. There was a shortage of tables and chairs each morning. There is enough room to add a couple of more tables. Some things need repair - ie. Faucets in tubs, and top floor ceiling leaked during heavy rain. The hotel is clean and conveniently located. There is a convenient shuttle service in and out of town. The staff we...

Overall this is a good hotel with resonable price. The location is perfect for me because it is near the airport. The hotel provides the free shuttle service to and from airport, however you can ask the driver to take you to any places e.g. shoppign malls or restaurants nearby the hotel, they would love to do this for you which is very nice. The breakfast is buffet in ...
Cheap places to stay in Rhode Island

Our room was too expensive for this kind of motel, but on weekends prizes for hotels go ridiculously high in Newport in general. The room was clean, but nothing special. Internet costs 3 USD extra, which we didn't appreciate. The location is quite far from the city center, but right next to a wall mart and shopping center. Going into town ins easy during the day, sever...

Let me start off by saying Vanessa who worked the front desk was super nice. The facility from the exterior looked very good. Grounds were clean and everything appeared well maintained.. That is until we entered our room. We had the 2 bdrm King Loft suite. The appliances were in need of replacement. The dishwasher was rusted and falling apart, the microwave was all s...

We were terribly disappointed by this hotel. The location is poor (but I knew that). We arrived to find an old coffee bag in the machine. The next day, the same and no new coffee was left. The cleanliness was poor, the only thing they seemed to clean was to discard a small bag of fruit we had. The management was unresponsive to our complaint. The furnishing in th...

My granddaughters had a great time. The hotel needs to be updated. The one bed was old and very uncomfortable. One of the pillow cases was stained. The pull out sofa had stains. This is a great location and nice place to stay just needs a face lift.

We were in Rhode Island for my sister’s 50Th Wedding Anniversary. We needed a hotel close to Cumberland and this one fit the bill. The hotel was recently renovated and it had a beautiful indoor pool. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked so inviting. The breakfast that was included was great including a pancake making machine. We particularly liked the bis...

Fantastic location in Newport. There are no lobby amenities, the rooms are comfortable but dated, the tv is small...but the ability to park once and walk everywhere is fantastic! Luxury hotels in Rhode Island

This was a nice hotel experience. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. It has the feel of staying in a private manor house. We booked a suite which was very comfortable. The hotel has a nice spa facility, with gym, indoor pool and sauna, which we made good use of. When you walk out the front door, May street is only 50 meters from the main area of Newport, ...
