Where to stay in Salta Province
Salta Province hotels & accommodations

The only negative is the fact that the City of Salta does not believe in catching wild dogs and put them to sleep or in a dog shelter. As a result, you have dozens of stray, hungry dogs hanging around in the park in front of the hotel. You cannot open the windows of your room at night, because of the constant barking of the dogs, and the street noise from cars. But the...

We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the beautiful city of Salta. The owners, Niv and Carola (and Doron the dog) were very welcoming. The rooms are very basic (no tv, shared bathrooms) but are fine for the amount they cost. Definitely recommend staying here.

The only complaint is that THE WIFI WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY IN THE ROOMS. It works better ONLY IN THE RESTAURANT. PATRICIA at the front desk was very helpful to inform about places to visit. She recommended “Dona Salta”. It was an excellent restaurant with typical food, decoration and a friendly staff. The waitress/servers at that restaurant are dressed up as “gaucho...

My stay was pretty good in this Hotel, before travelling north. The staff is very nice and service oriented. The breakfast was good and opened at 6:00 am, so that you can visit Salta for the entire day, or leave it with your car before rush hours for visiting all the beauties around the city.

Though hotel looks really nice on pictures, they are not as true as they should be. Cleaning is not its highest quality. Rooms have no decoration, as shown in the pictures. Some of the loby guys are very nice while others lack efectivness. It is located two blocks away from the plaza salteña.

We stayed two times in this hotel. The first time in a standard room, the second time in an executive room. The pricedifference is not huge. But if you like to have more space for your belongings it's worth the price. The rooms are okay, it was clean, but it smelled a little bit from the cleaner they use. The breakfast is okay. When you get a good price for the room,...

it took 2 hours of driving around in the heat and dusty roads to find the hotel. it's in the grounds of a vinery which has signs on the main road but only 2 small signs for the hotel in cafeyete town about 10kms away. when we finally found the bumpy track off the main road with the help of 2 or 3 folks in town (thank god for my limited spanish)and arrived hot i couldn...

Our stay was very nice the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. The room itself was lovely. Large bed, very clean. The bathroom was very Big compared to other budget options, and we had what we had requested, a jacuzzi bath. HOWEVER, this room, no.1, is situ...

the staff at kkala are probably the nicest i have ever met in all my years of travelling. they went out of their way to make me and my partner feel welcome. i asked them to get my partner a birthday cake and they produced a chocolate cake that was out of this world, with a complimentary bottle of champagne. the rooms are all decorated with local art, and every night th...

We saw different rooms. There are different sizes and prices. We stayed here in january 2012 and many rooms are newly painted. The smell is still very bad. Some rooms have no window, so these rooms are really over priced. We had a room at the main street, so with a lot of traffic noises all night long. In Salta they like to drive in old cars with a lot of noise, so bri...

When you plan to stop by in Cachi, I can recommend the ACA Hotel. The rooms and it's furniture are older. But if you don't mind, you will have a good stay there. The people working there are helpfully. The breakfast buffet is decent and lunch will be served until 3 pm, only. There is a swimmingpool which belong to the hotel. Free WiFi was also available, but only in th...

Stay was amazing. Was there during off-season, and was upgraded to a suite. Had a great time lounging around and also visiting the vineyard (which served superb wine for rock bottom prices). Only issue was the bathtub didn't really have warm water for a bath, but shower was ok. Food was great (except for the steak), but everything else on the menu was great.

We have stopped for a night on the way from Salta airport to Purmamarca. So we have avoided driving in the city. Quitet neighborhood. It's a clen place. Bed had very comfortable matters. Large size room. Staff did not speak English. They have charged us a different price (10% higher) than what we have gotten through agoda.com and there was no way to come to unders...

arrived in the mid-day and checked it promptly. right outside is the busiest waling street. It is very close to the major attractions. When I did booking I checked both price in Arg peso and US$ and towards the end I paid Peso with office exchange rate.

We had a lovely stay at El Relax hostal. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us delicious breakfast in the morning! They always have a big smile on their face and they always asked we needed any help with anything. The room had a cute painting on the wall. The bed was ok comfy but it's good sized and the bathroom was neat and clean. It's 10-15m...

First room i had was pretty awful. No window and tiny agonising bed. Also too expensive. However I was a walk in customer and it was the last room so fair enough. The second room was more expensive still but very nice and comfortable. So make sure you get a good room. Excellent helpful friendly staff.
