We stayed at the separate house next to the main building, which gives privacy. The staff were helpful and courteous, especially Patricio who helped us carry our heavy luggage to the house and give us recommendations on where to go. Would stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on our trip to El Calafate. The hotel is located a bit out of town so you will need a car to access it or use taxis for transport. However, I think it is worth it. The hotel is located on a hill and you have great views to the lake. The garden is beautiful and well maintained too. We really liked our room! Bed was really comfortabl...

whilst this may not be the most stylish or fancy hotel in el calafate, it is a good bet for the traveller who wants a comfortable stay in a modern hotel very close to the shops. rooms are spacious and service is simple and professional including a nice 'turn-down' service with free chocolates... there's a spa too (and massage service) but we didn't have time for ...

We stayed at a private double room with a big and comfortable bed. Very warm inside the room with the heat on. Room is clean. Breakfast is good. Location is good for those using the bus terminal, walking distance. A little bit far from the town Centro but still manageable on foot. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. P.S. the hotel also has apartments whi...

Laura was a very friendly and attentive host, the food was excellent and the view from the dining room simply spectacular. If you pass by, do not miss the horse ride. Christian lead us through overwhelming nature and made the ride a perfect experience. The horses are well trained and made my first ride on a horse back a unforgettable experience.

It's a pretty hotel at a first glance and the location is only 2 blocks from main street. but the room is small, old, very dry.. they are on the street level so without curtain, you can be seen, also I was able to hear everything outside. Average breakfast. some staff were friendly.

Location could be better as is not in central of the Town but at least I could have a nice walk back. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff who spoke English which was very helpful. I was very surprise when on my arrival as the hostel was very specious and clean. People say that it could be quite cold in hostel in April, but it wasn’t a case a...

Price is not expensive, I use SGD 180 around to book 2 night double room... Staff is nice, can solve my inquiry, e.g. local tour, foreign exchange, etc... Good location, go to main street around 5 mins and supermarket is 10-15 mins, depend which supermarket you want to go....

It’s a very nice hotel, with very clean and spacious room. All the stuff works well in the room. Staff are nice and helpful, even helped us for an early breakfast as we needed to go on to a tour before the breakfast time starts. The only down side is it’s a little distance away from the downtown area, but still in walkable distance. Overall, very nice hotel. Would reco...

I've never had such a magnificent view from a hotel room as this one. Snow capped mountains and a lake with geese and flamingoes. The view from the breakfast room was just as good. The hotel is new, on a hill, 8 blocks away from the centre/bus station. Taxi was very cheap from town centre for those wanting some night life etc. Walk into town, approx. 20 minutes. The ...

Coming from Asia, we arrived early in the morning, excited but exhausted. Noellia at the reception was just so understanding and so helpful. This place was so cute (dare I say romantic) and had a great BnB feel. Good breakfast in the morning too. WiFi worked well in the room and the shower was nice and hot. The location is a little out of the way, but town was still less than a 1mile walk. I'm really happy we stayed here and would do so again if we are ever back in El Calafate.

I knew this reservation was a mistake when I was the last one dropped off by the airport shuttle bus. It might be ok if you have your own car, but it is a LONG 30-35 minute walk to town, even longer if you have luggage, or AR85/US$7 taxi.. The owner insisted on charging the 19% tax, which other hostels did not do. Breakfast was not great. I cancelled my third night her...

We stayed just over night. The room was nice but small, specially the bathroom that was minimal and not well planned. The bed was confortable. There was a safebox in the room. Cheap places to stay in Santa Cruz Province

I stayed two nights in this hostel and can definitely recommend it. Everything was clean all the time. The kitchen has a lot of equipment, my bed was comfortable and the room very big. In case I will be again in El Calafate I will ask to stay there again. Muchas gracias!

Pros: Clean rooms and relatively clean common areas including kitchen and bathrooms. Located just a short walk from bus terminal in this small town. Common area includes living room and dining area where people can hang out. Cons: Staff does not allow guests to use kitchen after check-out, so if you are planning to cook on the same day before your evening/night b...

Firstly, Marcel, the cheerful owner who runs this place with his numerous brothers, is fantastic! His brothers too, are just as hospitable (but Marcel's English is flawless). This is one of my favourite hostels ever. The common area is a great way to meet people, it is not a loud party place. The kitchen can get very cramped however, as there is only one stove. The br...

We totally enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable, room and bathroom very clean. Great kitchen which we used to cook breakfasts. Nice hot shower. And we were greeted nicely and helped with everything we needed. And all for s great price too!

We had a private room and it was very comfortable. Perfect for coming back to after a long day's trekking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. The hostel itself is nice and has a decent sized social area, we met a few other people. Staff were very helpful. The staff is great, very helpful and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the town, even what time each shop opens or close. The dorm rooms are clean but not very spacious. Large lockers in room, also bathrooms in room shared by 6 dormates. Very convenient. Can use a few more hooks to hang clothing in shower stall, also bathroom doorlocks are not operating properly...

The Hostel Del Glaciar Pioneros is about a 15 minute walk from the bus station, and about 10 minutes from the main town. The Hostel staff are very accommodating and gave some great advice reagrding tours and things to do. We booked the Glacier boat tour with the Hostel and had a fantastic time!

We enjoyed it a lot. It is very close to the center of El Calafate. The rooms and facilities are very clean and well looked after. The free breakfast in the morning is very nice too. Plenty of coffee and some rolls. The owner is taking care of the place. Small downside, payment cash only. As it is hard to get cash in El Calafate, paypal will be setup soon, the owner sa...

The customer service here was a refreshing change from the hotels in torres del paine. Another guy (maybe the manager or owner) was also very friendly. Location wise, very convenient - short walk to the main street, bus ...

Very nice. The breakfast was minimal but served in a pleasant surrounding. It is not a large hotel so do not expect anything but the basics for food. El Calfate is a busy place so we enjoyed being on the outskirts. Having a car is a plus but taxis are plentiful so easy to go back and forth to town.

We so much loved the place that when we decided to extend our trip, of course we never looked at other hotel, we were happy there mostly because of the very, very nice lady who runs the hotel. We didn't mind not having 5 star because when a small hotel is so clean and comfortable and cute in the decoration, we feel its better than 5 star hotel where they don't give you...

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The rooms are nice (little cabins that reminded us of Swiss skiing lodges) and clean. The grounds are well maintained. Great showers and comfy clean beds. We stayed for 4 days in Chalten and the hotel was very good. The location is excellent and the room are very nice.
