My husband and I stayed at the Golden Temple Retreat for our honeymoon and it ended up being our favorite hotel of all the places we stayed. From the moment they picked us up from the airport and treated us to welcome drinks and snacks, Golden Temple Retreat provided excellent, thoughtful service and lots of "extras" that made our stay in Siem Reap a highlight of the trip. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and we really appreciated the little touches like the cell phone they provided us to make local calls and the turndown service each night with a print out of the weather forecast for the next day. The hotel facilities were clean and pleasant and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio outside our room after a long morning of exploring the temples. The hotel was also nicely located within walking distance of town. We would definitely recommend the Golden Temple Retreat to anyone looking for a place to stay in Siem Reap.

eOcambo is an amazing boutique hotel in Siem Reap. Excellent value for your money. Upon arrival you feel that you are visiting your best friend and your room is ready for you. The service is high standards. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The rooms are decorated with the natural and elegant luxury. Beautiful surprise! The staff is extremely professional. This property is hidden but central located, and very easy to access to everywhere in central of siem reap.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The lobby was quite dark and we got the room in the old building even if we requested for the new building and we got the 1st floor despite requesting for a high floor. Room was clean and complete. We had a nice view of the pool from our balcony which made up for us being on the 1st floor of the hotel (better pool view). I stayed already in 2 other hotels in siem reap and I can definitely say that their breakfast is the best. It was something my bf and i look forward to when we wake up. Though most hotels offer free breakfast, not all offer buffet type breakfast. Another thing we appreciated was the fact that we checked out 12noon but since our flight was still 1030pm that day, the hotel still allowed us to use their pool and shower at the spa area when we got back from sightseeing. good service.

This place was amazing - the service was truly top notch here. From the cool towel and welcome drink/snack to going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I got sick during the end of the stay and they extended our check out to 5pm at no charge and then let us stay at another room until we took our transfer to the airport. Most afternoons we were greeted by staff with a cold towel, coming in from dusty temple exploring. They took care of our guide and car booking as well. Because of our early arrival and late departure, we oddly saw 3 different rooms - all of which were consistent, modern, and clean. It's hot, so we did find a few ants, but hey, it's still Siem Reap. The shower had great pressure (so be careful if you don't have a door enclosure when using the hand spray) and the rain shower was a nice touch. The pool area is truly an oasis. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after the messer streets of Siem Reap or the sandy temples. I've already recommended them to a close friend that will be in Siem Reap later this month!

Spent a week at the Metta. Each day we enjoyed excellent service, matched with beautiful design and decor, delicious meals, and a room that opened out to a gazebo and the pool, no less - as The Metta was a boutique hotel, it really felt almost like our personal and private pool right at our doorstep! Love the nightly complimentary cocktails by the pool that gave guests and staff an opportunity to get to know each other while enjoying the sunset. If you are looking for affordable luxury in Siem Reap, this boutique hotel IS IT. The inclusive dinner package that came with the accommodation was amazing. So was the spa. The location is a little off the beaten track (hence the 4 stars), but there's the complimentary and friendly tuk tuk service to town that more than makes up for it (assuming you want to leave the comfort of the Metta, that is!). I was careless and suffered a sprain ankle during my stay, and the hotel staff went all out to assist me beyond the call of duty, making our stay at the Metta extra special and memorable. Thank you, The Metta, for making our stay in Siem Reap so special. You truly are the embodiment of how excellent service makes a holiday exceptional.

Everything is perfect while staying in this hotel ! Staffs are so friendly,& provide useful info, free airport transfer for both way ! Room is clean , large & the swimming pool is deep enough for swimming, I defiantly come back again if stay in Siem Reap ! Somehow, part of tuk tuk drivers refused to drive to this hotel as they think so far away from town, but I think just take 10 mins to town by tuk tuk, it’s not da far away ! Anyway, I suggest you use ‘ GRAB’ to book tuk tuk, price is more reasonable ! This hotel is ideal for honeymoon, for chilling.... so quiet & peace

Thank you to Mr Nako and his wonderful team - Jon, Eric, Philip and Jessica (to name a few!) for making our stay in Siem Reap such a lovely and memorable experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, close enough to enjoy pub street/night market but far enough away from the chaos of it all! The pool was super refreshing after a long day out in the hot Siem Reap sun, as were the cold towelettes provided by the team on our arrival back to the hotel each day. The buffet breakfast was delightful with a little bit of everything to choose from. But it really is the people that make this hotel outstanding! Genuinely personable and wanting to help in anyway possible, for example providing us with a packed breakfast for our sunrise trip to Angkor Wat so we wouldn't miss out. We were so happy we picked this hotel that highlighted our Siem Reap trip! Staff - can arrange airport pick up, explained the sight seeing route in detail, arranged full day tuk tuk transportation for visiting the temples (all price listed, no need to bargain for price). The driver they contacted was nice, speak good English, caring, and punctual. We were in a hurry to catch a bus without lunch, they arranged snacks for us unexpectedly, very detail minded! Every staff were so polite and cheerful! Room - spacious, clean, well decorated. Facilities - clean swimming pool, apple computer installed, nice massage room with air conditioned. (many massage shop don't have air conditioned in Siem Reap) Location - just 5 minutes from the pub street and night market, many nice restaurant nearby (Cambodian BBQ/Soup Dragon/Red Piano..) We must stay in this hotel again when come back to Siem Reap!

We had spent 6 days in Siem Reap exploring Angkor Wat and surrounding area with 3 older kids age 11-12. We stayed in 2 bedrooms unit which was very spacious and clean. We were welcome since arriving till leaving. Ellie (guest relation manager) and all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. We arranged all our tour thru the hotel. Their drivers and tuk tuk drivers are very good and friendly. Ellie's recommendations for the tour, bike tour, and activities were excellent. The breakfast spread were plenty and well spread. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and if we are going back, we will surely revisit the hotel again. Thank you for making our holiday in Siem Reap a wonderful experience.

We have absolutely enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel. Memoire d Angkor has exceeded all of our expectations that a boutique hotel could offer, the BEST i have experienced so far. Hotel's location: 9/10 Hospitality: 9/10 Ambience: 7/10 (some renovation outside the hotel is ongoing) Comfort: 10/10 (GREAT beddings and pillows makes our return trip from Angkor a relaxing one) Room size: SPACIOUS WIFI: 9/10 Breakfast: 8/10 Minor touches: free laundry, mini bar service. They even decorate our room to a special honeymoon ambience ;) Being a first timer in Cambodia, this hotel has made our stay/ honeymoon the best experience ever. We had a wonderful stay at Hari residence Hotel and spa. Even they managed to pick us up at the airport. Our flight was delayed but the driver waited for us with our name in his hands. When we arrived Kimnang was the one who acquainted us with our bookings, even escorted us to our rooms. She was the best. Made us feel like vip. U could ask her anything and she could provide the info u need. The hotel was awesome. Pool, restaurant, gym and spa everything is on the 5th floor. The amenities we had in our room was amazing, we had our own tea sets, coffee pods machine, bath robes... bathroom essentials.. etc. Thought the lobby was a bit warm. But not too overpowering. Maybe thats the style here in Siem Reap. We had our experience ar other hotel in siem reap with similar style. Location is not far from pub street and night market. U could walk (7-8mins) or grab a tuk tuk. Use e-hailing Theres a small french cafe just in front of the hotel, they had this delicious curry chicken sandwich.

Overall my friend and I both enjoy our stay during our time spent in siem reap. Upon reaching the airport, the shuttle bus which I had arrange was already waiting outside the airport. When reaching the hotel the staff smiled and greeted us as we walk in. We were told to wait at the welcome lounge as they help us with our check in. A welcome dessert and drinks are served to us. Staff Nana led us to our room and showed us around the hotel. She had also recommend places for us to visit that evening as we had reach Siem Reap about 4.30pm and most area of attraction had close. We had decided to book the hotel tuk tuk the next day to visit the temple. One of the guy staff (could not rem his name think start with mo*****??) at the hospitality desk was also friendly and patient as he answered our question. Our tuk tuk driver (could not rem his name) waited for us throughout the temple visit. The breakfast buffet was tasty and there is a variety of food. After each journey back to the hotel there will always be a staff serving as cold towel to freshen us up. During the last day, we had book a MEKONG bus from siem reap to phnom penh at 8.30am earlier in sg, my friend and I are both worried as it is 8am and the bus had not reach. The same guy staff (could not rem his name think start with mo*****??) who attended to us on the first day at the hospitality desk smiled and approached us. He reassured and help us to check with the MEKONG bus arrival. When the bus has arrive he approach us and inform us that the bus had arrive. We had a pleasant stay throughout, the staff including the tuk tuk driver are able to speak English therefore we had no problem telling them where we wanted to go.

We only stayed for four nights but it was by far the best hotel of our holiday. The room was spacious and clean, with a good sized balcony overlooking the lush green tropical plants between our room and the pool (salt water). Each night at around 7 the chamber maids would ask to turn down the bed and left gifts on our pillows each time. We treated ourselves to a massage in the hotel spa which was also excellent, albeit a tad spendy for Cambodia, mind you it is five star! The hotel staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay. The hotels sits facing the central park and is 15 minutes by private car to the Angkor Temples, 15-20 to the airport and only 3 by tuk-tuk to Pub Street. This is by far the best hotel in Siem Reap and is well worth that little extra. Very very well recommended!

There are so many hotels in Siem Reap to choose from but for the price I think this hotel offers real value for money. It's the location which is the real appeal as you are about 5 mins walk away from Pub Street but still far enough away so that you don't get disturbed by outside noise. The hotel is part of one big block where at the front (near the main road) is the older Somadevi resort and at the back you have the two hotels Somadevi Residence and the Somadevi Angkor Boutique & Resort. Hence, as this hotel is at the back away from the main road (shopping street) it is a bit quieter. However, the hotel is in Siem Reap central so don't expect big grounds as it's part of a main block and so surrounded by shops. If you want something big and secluded there are plenty of these types of hotels on the highway (airport to Siem Reap) but then to get around you will constantly need a Tuk Tuk. I would recommend sacrificing on the star rating for location unless you plan to spend a lot of tme at the hotel. This hotel was perfect for our needs as we prefer to walk around. Service The staff are extremely friendly and polite. You are greeted with a smile and nice touches such as opening doors and generally asking you how your stay is, anything you need, etc. It's a very clean hotel and no complaints with the room service/cleaners. The shuttle service to and from the airport is a proper car and not a Tuk Tuk. Room Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi in the room. Quite a big room with plenty of space. The shower had very little pressure but it doesn't matter because you can switch to the rain shower which is much better and then pressure is not an issue. Bathroom is very big, modern and clean. There was a private balcony but we didn't use this. It's a city hotel so don't expect great views. Food Only had breakfact once which was very good but other than that can't really comment. After searching for a place to stay in Siem Reap, I decided to follow the numerous positive reviews by travellers about the Golden Temple Hotel. Upon being welcomed at the hotel, I had a gut feeling that I had made the right choice but it did not take long for me to realise that not only had I made the right choice, but probably the best choice for a hotel in Siem Reap. I was welcomed by Sophin who delivered me the usual 'welcome drink' one receives when they arrive. But together with the welcome drink came a beatiful platter containing peanuts, sticky rice and fresh fruit. Then Sophin explained that my stat included complimentary vouchers for a lunch or dinner, 1 hour full body massage or foot massage and a 'snack box' to be used during my stay. Sophin explained in very good English an overview of the hotel's amenities, key times and implored me to contact reception if I had any questions/issues about anything. I class my welcome at the hotel as one of the best I have received. The rooms are very well appointed and set out and include everything that you need. They include artwork, great colour scheme and seperate bathroom with one of the best showers I have come across. The swimming pool is a joy to return to and cool off after visiting the local sites. There is a wide selection of food to choose from at the buffet breakfast including great omlettes and soups! As far as location goes, the hotel resides in an area that is centrally located and within walking distance/short tuk-tuk ride to where you may need to get to in Siem Reap. One of the keys to the succes of the Golden Temple Hotel is its staff who are extremely friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Special call out goes to Richard who is the guest relaions manager at the hotel for leading such a successful team. Putting it simply, the Golden Temple Hotel is the place to stay if you happen to visit Siem Reap.

This is the exceptional hotel in Siem Reap Cambodia. I am solo traveller and I got excellent service from staff from the airport to the hotel till check out. The act with you like you are their family. No anything to worry when I stay at here. I feel very comfort, happy and safe. The room is very modern and luxury. The ceiling is high and I feel comfort. The room is clean. All facilities are good. The hotel located not far from important places such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Taphrom, Bayon .... I am really recommend this hotel for traveller who plan to visit Siem Reap. You will get best experience from this hotel. Thanks

This place is special place and special location (not close center) and you will have amazing experience here. Villa is big and beautiful. Natural but still model and good quality. Quite and good for relax Pool is so beautiful Breakfast is good experience with elephant At night time or sun set , will have romantic tea time. Staff is friendly and excelente serviced. Special manager guy who is japanese, he is supposed us so good and warmly! If you looking a amazing experience, here is the best in Siem-reap.

Okay, we don't know all the other hotels in Siem Reap so we can't really say this one is the very best, but I don't think you'll find a better one at any price. Our room was large, clean and had a great bed - perfect! Staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. No matter the problem they will help you solve it and do so cheerfully. We were there for 3 1/2 days, and after the first day everyone knew our names and addressed us by name each time. I still can't get over how helpful and intuitive everyone was, and what a difference that made to our experience. Their tour guides and drivers were especially knowledgeable and helpful. We visited many of the temples and waterfalls in and around Siem Reap, and each time we returned to the car to head to the next destination the a/c was on and we were provided a cold towel for our faces and cold water to cool us. That was very helpful, given the heat in SR. We recommend them to everyone! ~ Phil Btw: their restaurant is first class!

my wife and i have been fortunate over the years to have travelled extensively and stayed in many good hotels. i would quite simpoly rate this one as one of the very best we have ever stayed in. rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed; the staff were quite outstanding without being over-bearing, there was a good range of excellent food to suit all tastes, the pool was a joy, the gardens restful.............etc. it really is difficult to know where to stop with the praise! i guess the final point to make must be about value for money: we had travelled to siem reap via bangkok where we had stayed for two nights in one of the supposedly very best hotels in the city and at a room-rate which was five times what we were charged in siem reap. there is an inverse relationship here between price and performance because our experience and enjoyment of this hotel in siem reap was five times better than that which we had in bangkok and at only one fifth of the price. we will undoubtedly return!

It was our first time visiting Cambodia and we heard about the Templation Hotel from a friend. The entire experience was everything as advertised and more. The location was fantastic, close enough to downtown Siem Reap to get there by a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride, but quiet enough that within the hotel grounds you would think you were in the middle of the jungle. The room was comfortable (we stayed in a poolside villa with extra bed) and the outdoor bathroom/shower was a nice feature. The pool was probably the nicest hotel pool I have ever used, and the restaurant food was delicious (especially breakfast). That said the best part of the experience however was the staff, who collectively were very attentive to our needs and extremely helpful in not only the logistics of our stay but providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. Definitely would stay there again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

This hotel was absolutly exellent in every single way, the room was big with a huge king size bed. Breakfast was amazing! Honestly I have never seen a buffet breakfast this good and it was included in the room rate, they have fresh fruits, pancakes, bacon, stirfry, theres a chief that makes fresh omelets and Khmer soup that's not to be missed in front of you, And so much more. Honestly the hotel felt a little to posh for me and my girlfriend at times. It was definatly one of the fanciest hotels I have stayed in. The staff were all great. Its a 2 USD tuk tuk ride to town, or you can get a tuk tuk to the temples all day for 12-15 USD depending on the circuit, the tuk tuk drivers will always try to get you as a customer the next day, they will be pushy and anoying at times. So we alwayr tried to pick the more humble drivers that wernt in your face and also had different drivers every day to spread the money around a little. If you are here to see the temples of Angkor I would definatly recommend at least the 3 day pass as there are so many temples and Angkor wat itself can take all day if you are into this kind of history, bayon temple is not to be missed and also the prymid temples are pretty mind blowing. 1 day just wont kut it in my opinion. Anyway if you want a super fancy hotel at a super reasonable price, stay here. From my experience most hotels in siem reap will be amazing value for money. Everything is very cheap in siem reap but don't bartter he locals down too low on things and try to tip what you can afford as they aren't very rich in Cambodia, 1 doller goes along way to them. So best to be generous while your here and the people will appreciate it. Cambodians are generally super friendly also. A smile goes a long way.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sarai. We booked through AGODA because i read their good reviews. I am glad to write that all the good reviews are true. Our booking with agoda did not include airport pick up. I tried to contact the hotel because we will be arriving late at night. They replied immediately that they wikk pick us up at no charge. Philip was there with our name on a board and a van waiting for us. There was cold water and cold towel. The hotel was about 30 minutes away. On our way, Philip asked for my booking details and check us in through his tablet. So when we got to the hotel, the front desk asked for a copy of our passports and after signing was given the key to our room. The room was big. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. There were toiletries, hair dryer, robes and tub. Breakfast was a selection of western and asian. Plus bread, fruits and yogurt, and your choice of coffee or fruit juice. The staff were all polite and gracious all the time. Whether its early morning, mid day or late at night. Every thing is one tuktuk away at $2. Mr vanna , tuktuk #5 was very helpful. Dont bother changing your money at the airport can pay in $ in Siem Reap. Special mention to Ziffan from the front desk who did not tire of our questions on where to eat and go. Oh tickets tothe national museum is available at the hotel with free pick up. Sokunthea of the goat tree restaurant majes good drip coffee. And to Philip. Thanks guys for making our siem reap vacation a wonderful experience. Angkor wat was magnificent!

My husband and I recently stayed at J7 while in Siem Reap for our honeymoon. We had been, dare I say mislead by some hotel pictures in the past early on in our trip with hotels in Thailand so we weren’t sure what we were getting. J7 not only lives up to their stunning photos but it’s actually better! The hotel is beautiful with well appointed rooms, great restaurants, beautiful pool but the real stand out element is the staff! Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to provide the most stellar customer service! I can’t say enough good things about our experience! We absolutely loved our tuktuk driver Mr. Surat, if you can ask for him by name. He’s absolutely lovely and charges fair prices. We wish the staff at J7 a heartfelt thank you for making our honeymoon truly unforgettable!

The first thing that impressed us was the professionalism and friendly efficiency of the registration counter staff. They spoke good English and were ever willing to help, especially in giving accurate directions or projecting accurate fares for tuk-tuk rides, thereby helping to preventing hotel residents from being fleeced by tuk-tuk drivers who congregated outside the Siem Reap terminus of a new popular inter-city coach from Phnom Penh. The hotel itself was very clean and located in a street with many credible eateries. Breakfast consisted of fried noodles, toast, three kinds of fruit, an egg station with a choice of sunny-side ups or scrambled, fruit juice, fresh milk, brewed coffee and tea, which was much much more than any adult person could hope for or could consume at breakfast. I have ear-marked Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel for future visits to Siem Reap and I would certainly recommend this hotel to couples who wish to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, soak in the Cambodian culture and have a good relaxing holiday. And, for anyone who is interested, the WiFi works!

Hands down the best hotel on Siem Reap. Everything was perfect. Our flight got delayed for 3 hours but when we go outside the airport Mr. Phal is still waiting outside holding a sign with my name on it. Then when we're in the car Mr. Phal gave us a cold towel and a cold drink to freshen up. When we arrive at the hotel everyone is so friendly, they won't even let us carry our heavy luggage they just want to carry it themselves. We we're celebrating anniversary with my wife on the day of our arrival and Mr. Ratha arranged everything just like what we talked about over email. We had our dinner at the rooftop of the restaurant. The cake and flowers are perfect also our meal that night. Our room was also decorated romantically with flowers and petals on the bed and the bath tub. My wife really love it. It was so perfect. We're so happy that we choose this hotel over hundreds of hotel in Siem Reap. And we will certainly be back here again next year. See you next year guys thanks again.
