Where to stay in South Cotabato
South Cotabato hotels & accommodations

east asia royal hotel is the best hotel in gensan. their very welcoming staff is at par with the best hotels here in manila. the room was very impressive, very clean, the bed was very comfy. we will definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit gensan again next year. magandang royal hotel, and magandang gensan!

We had a great time in this hotel because they met our expectations of a 3 star hotel. Wonderful location right at the center of the city with good restaurants, bars and entertainment hubs. It is also near hospital, sm mall and city hall. The rooms are spacious and clean especially the towels and bed linens. The buffet breakfast is relatively fair enough and they have ...

The staff virtually adopted my 6 month old daughter. They went out of their way to be courteous & friendly. I have done 50-60 overseas trips to 47 countries - The Greenleaf Hotel is easily the best hotel I have stayed in. It's rated 4 star - I have stayed in 5 star hotels that pale by comparison. I have stayed in Davao City in other hotels, however our next trip to Min...

stayed there for 2 nights but the 1st nyt was not booked thru agoda coz we just walk-in there to see how d hotel looks like and to my surpeise,it was really good. to think its not a big hotel but it offers great service. staffs are polite minus the guard who seems to be an ignorant who cant even answer you with a simple question.but nonetheless, our stay was really grea...

This is my 5th visit to Koronadal City and my third time to stay at FB Hotel. Foremost is the warmth of the staff. There is always a way to serve the needs. I needed to be fetched from another hotel in General Santos City and they arranged the ride without requiring me to join the regular trips going to and coming from the airport. I needed to attend a very important o...

They allowed me to leave my things in their office for I am about to hike Lake Holon that time and even when I was about to visit Davao. This is situated near Bulaong terminal for travelers who want to explore South Cotabato. They got a fast wifi connection.

Definitly one of the best resort experiences I've had. There is loud music on the beach on the weekends so don't come if you can't handle that. The restaurant is great. This is a party spot for locals so come to have a good time and byob to the beach.

If not for its location which is a bit on the outskirts of the main city, 3G Garden deserves a 5 star rating. They however make up for it by providing FREE shuttle service to major malls. I just wish that the hotel would offer paid shuttle pick up from the downtown area for guests who do not have cars. Taxi cabs in Gensan are not metered and they charge exorbitant fees...

We stayed for a week, in this resort type Hotel, the rooms were big enough to accommodate four persons and comes with complimentary breakfast. They have 3 pools, 1 large wading pool, a kid's pool and a lap pool. The resort personnel were very accommodating and are always eager to assist us with our concerns. It is very accessible from the city center but at the same ti...

This is a new hotel located across a shopping mall. The room is reasonably big, clean, and comfortable for a price half of its competitors of the same category. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Very accessible, located just behind one building on the main hi-way. The building facing the hi-way shielded it from traffic noise. The only reason I rated the...

The property was at Purok Malakas and there was a big signage which made it easy to locate. The building is relatively new. The food was good and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms and amenities are largely basic. Please be aware that the hotel, as a general rule, provides breakfast for 2 regardless of the number of persons in the room. We booked a de luxe trio but wer...

the suite is very good in terms of accommodation and amenities however they need to include "MATRIMONY" beds in booking because it only stated "double bed" from the choices. but then due to their courtesy to the guest, they were able to accommodate my request from double to matrimony.

Fortunate and glad to book this hotel. Fastest wifi! Better than my cellular data. Free Shuttle pick up from aiport to hotel and vice versa. Breakfast is adequate. Room is super clean and lay out is patterned to a cruise ship. In the market section of the city so dining out is a breeze! This will be my choice of hotel in Gensan! P.S. Staff are very friendly and willing...

Our stay was almost great but seems like the staff in the hotel did not really pay attention to our instruction, it was a very important instruction because we dont want to miss our flight that day. Before we went to our room to rest we have clearly instructed the Front Desk that we need a taxi at 7AM bcause they have a Van but no driver and i don't know what happen be...

I was only there one night, but I found the hotel to be a secluded and peaceful place. The staff was friendly and the food good. If you're not from the Philippines like me, you have to try the pineapple juice there as it was the best I ever tasted!

It was already 10PM when I started looking for a place to stay since I went around Sarangani the whole day and totally forgot to book ahead of time. Got this awesome place for just 410PHP and it was worth it! The downside is that the shower was broken and needed serious repair. What the staff (also the security guard) did was he used a knife to twist the handle so that...

For an overnight stay, we paid 2,900+ for a room with free breakfast. The room was clean, size was good and well furnished but I feel that the price was a bit high for what we got. The location however was great. It was near malls and there was adequate parking. There's a convenience store, a coffee shop, and a salon basically at your doorstep. The breakfast was not gr...

This was our first time staying here. The resort is mostly quiet and pleasant. The pools are nice as are the grounds of the resort. It's a bit away from places. Fortunately we had a rental car, so we didn't have any difficulties getting to/from the hotel each day. I couldn't imagine staying there without a car. This hotel is not in General Santos City. It's in Polomolo...

This hotel is brand new and has been open since May, if I remember. There are both good and bad things regarding this hotel. I'll go through the bad first and then the good. This hotel has no phones in any of their rooms so in order to get something I had to walk down to the front desk. I saw many ants crawling around our room (small red ones) and we couldn't leave foo...

I have stayed here over 300 nights since 2012. It is the best simple and homey stay, if you dont want a fancy hotel atmosphere, just a good safe place to stay, and conveniently located near markets, quick food, and main roads to town or out of town. I stay here because of the large rooms, quiet neighborhood, and kitchenette facilities. Its like a little home for me w...

Nice apartment, clean and nice staff as well. But in the toilet there was water leakage and they did not fix it. It leaked during all our stay and it was making noise as well. But it was clean and there were all the equipment and furniture that we needed.

stayed for a total of 11 nights in the end. the hotel is well located and secure. transport is good, just stop a tricycle on the road, very cheap, for instance to kcc mall it costs 20 peso for 2 people. the staff were very nice and friendly.small points for the hotels attention are the pool needs to be filtered and cleaned and the cafe staff need to improve service whi...

We spent 7 days in all at Roadhaus Hotel. This was the third hotel we stayed at in General Santos City as a sick family member was in Doctors Hospital for 2 weeks. This hotel was a clearly better than the other larger hotels. It is a Manny Pacquiao owned business which gives it additional character. The price was better value than others in the area but the real winne...

The staff were really hospitable and accommodating from day one to check out date. They constantly would ask the things you need inside your room. Owner was there once in a while and is very helpful and hospitable. Property is still a work in progress but is clean.

The island of Mindanao has serious infrastructure issue so I cannot fault the hotel. Rolling blackouts, water shortages and lousy Internet. The electricity went off two, three times a day which knocked out the Internet if the Internet was working at all, again not always the fault of the hotel. Never did have hot water in any of the three rooms we were moved to, not ...
Cheap places to stay in South Cotabato

I stayed for 2nights here and booked through agoda.... i payed via credit card and i am satisfied because when i arrived they were already waiting for me. i only showed them my I.D. then gave me the key.. the place was quiet and the room was enough for a solo traveller like me. But i do suggest agoda to give other info to the properties about the guest like cp# because...

I just stayed on nyt. Was finding cheap room to sleep only. Was ok for me. But bit far from city or everything. Not for couples or families. And noisy outside then hard to sleep if u care. There r some Small shops to buy some food n drinks around this hotel. Stuff were friendly which I only liked in there

Our room was small but it was fine because we are just going to sleep there and it was cheap anyway. The only problem I had was there were 2 roaches in the bathroom so that freaked me out.It is in a residential area so I think that is were those critters came from.

This is a small hotel on Aparente street not far from SaveMore. While the hotel occupies the second floor, a laundromat is on the ground level. You enter the hotel through the laundromat then proceed up a flight of steps (no elevator). Upstairs there is a nice wide hallway leading to approximately nine rooms. Our stay was in a room with a single queen bed and private b...

I and my partner have stayed here twice already and we loved it!..the place was accessible to all things that you should need and it was really quiet..we love staying here..all the facilities were great..rest assured that everytime we're staying in Gensan that here is where i will book again..

the hotel was built two years ago, so it is fairly new. everything is clean from the hallway all the way into the bedroom. because the price is very cheap, i initially suspected that the water might be terrible (in some hotels of this price, the waster smells like rotten egg). but i was wrong. the water smells and tastes like drinkable mineral water. the hotel st...

the hotel is pretty basic. if you are just looking for a place to sleep near the main establishments or malls in gensan then this is the place for you. the only thing I didn't like was that there was no cabinet or hangers inside my room. I just don't know if that's the case for all the rooms. they also don't refill or replace your toiletries unless you request for it...

heilee's hotel is a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing in general santos. the place is not too far away from the city, but the unpaved road makes it feel like a remote barrio town. i think the roads will be cemented in a couple of years, but right now the potholes are numerous and some were large enough to fit a tricycle. the roads are not in any way connec...

Peter and staff where great! This is a little gem in Gen San City. I stayed twice at this pension house and I will return many times over. I met other travelers that complained about their stay at other hotels around the area, but here? not a single issue to complain about. Staff is very friendly and will do all to accommodate most requests. It's nice to have a little ...

I tried to contact the resort early to inform them that I will arrive a bit late but they didn't answer. When we arrived the room was not yet set up. It was raining and we had to wait outside while they clean up the room for us. The reception was closed as early as 7PM. Good thing the crews were courteous enough and apologized for keeping us wait. The place was quiet ...

The room is very nice and big. CR is good and very clean. It is near public market, you can buy different kinds of fresh fruits near the hotel. Staff is accommodating. Free breakfast from 6:30am - 10am at the top of the building (5th floor). Value for money. Downside? at night from 9 pm where no restaurant near the hotel but you can ride a tricycle going to your favor...
