Dee was the attendant at our time of check in. She was very competent. We were traveling with dogs for the first time. We had a great stay at this hotel with our 3 kids (ages 12, 9, and 6). The kids loved the waterslide and pool and hot tub. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the sleeper sofa. Breakfast was great!

We chose this location because of it's proximity to the Black Hills, Badlands and Devil's tower. It is just off a main road that is quiet and safe. The included breakfast is hot and well catered. The facilities are clean and the people we met, staff and tourists, were very friendly. Overall, I was very pleased.
Pros: hot breakfast, nice pool and hot tub, friendly staff. Con: I am not sure if they had an elevator which did not bother me and my boys, but it may be harder for elderly or some with handicaps. This hotel is well situated for visits to Badlands National Park. The breakfast had a lot of good choices. My only issue was a defective lock that locked me out of my room on a very cold afternoon and took about 1/2 an hour to get resolved.

We had a great one night stay. It was easy to get in and out. Great pizza place across the street. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but was serviceable. The staff was awesome!! They went above and beyond expectations when they found out we needed documents faxed for our house closing.

This motel is overall good. It was clean but I want to mention two things. First, it was really hard to operate the shower in my room. There was an instruction but it wouldn't work properly. Second, breakfast was not good. There were only a few things prepared, so I went to Walmart to grab my breakfast. If you don't expect too much, this place is great to stay a night....

The hotel is really beautiful. It has Starbucks, a bar, a souvenir shop and a little sky restaurant. It's also pet friendly ($25 per pet) close to the hotel, you have Delmonico grill which is fantastic, Hardee's, gift shop, bookshop, chocolate factory etc.
This B&B is within easy walking distance to the main street of Deadwood and the house has been renovated in keeping with the history of Deadwood. It was good to get a homemade breakfast cooked to order by the hosts. This stay broke the monotony of staying at the chain hotels. We will now make sure that we use more B&Bs in our future travels.
