South-Holland hotels & places to stay

It was a nice hotel with perfect location. There is a lot of restaurants cuisines within walking distance. Hotel surrounded by the beautiful river that has a port for cruises. Room size was sufficient and very nice floor to ceiling glass. In my opinion, because of bathroom has glass and can’t cover it ( ask the hotel if it possible) I recommend the hotel to couples. Breakfast need to be improved with more options. The view of the hotel amazing. Thanks to the professional staff for their attitude.

I came here as a solo traveler in June 2017 to see the city of Rotterdam. I can say it was a nice place to stay. It was in a good location and it was not too far from the central station, so it was easy to get around without public transport if you wanted to. I do recommend renting a bicycle though, since it's the best way to get around in the Netherlands. My room itself was quite spacious. I had a small double room, but it was more than enough space for my suitcase and laptop bag. The only downside was that there was a lack of power outlets in the room, and also no desk so I had to use the bedside table as a desk for my laptop. Overall though, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you want a cheap budget hotel to stay in when you visit Rotterdam.

This is the nicest hotel with a motto of providing service to exceed your expectations.... and they did. It was my loves birthday when we arrived and I asked them if they could see about getting her some flowers. Normally that would be difficult but at 4:45 pm it was almost impossible. They did it and they were beautiful. The breakfast was superb and our room was divine. My thanks to the hotel and their entire staff. True professionals.

The front desk staff is exceptional in their friendly, efficient and professional demeanor and service! The room was quiet, very clean and well appointed. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was very good. Wifi signal was strong throughout the property and in room. The food for purchase and front lobby bar were very good as well. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Den Haag and looking for a good, comfortable, yet budget friendly option for lodging needs.

We have 20 people. my friend's experience is bad.Her experience is '' I live in The Student Hotel on July 16 to July 21. My son lost his backpack on bus but I found it on ilost website. I pay the 15 Euros to sent my backpack to the Student Hotel. The DHL sent the package to the Student Hotel on July 20. But your coworker made two mistakes to return my backage to the sent. First mistake: We all are 20 persons to check in, but they choose 10 people 's name to keep in computer, not include my name(Huang Yu Ying). That's why they don't have my name in the computer. Second mistake :I wrote a note on July 20 morning to tell the reception of the Student Hotel about I will have a package by DHL in the July 20 afternoon. But the man worker put my note under a book. He didn't tell others about my note. It makes other workers didn't know I have told you to receive my package. The workers return back my package to ilost center when DHL sent my package , make my package still stay in Holland now.

We stayed in Mercure Den Haag Hotel for 5D4N. It was a wonderful stay, the rooms were huge and the bed too! We booked 2 connecting rooms - deluxe. Clean room with a heater as it was pretty cold during winter! The location of the hotel was superb. It was close to everything you need - from restaurants to malls to shops, even cinemas and dance theaters! A truly recommended hotel - shopping is just a stone throw away. Near to the bus trams and train station. Very convenient! Love our stay there - check in and check out was a breeze. Thank you :)

Holiday Inn Rotterdam was able to upkeep the quality you expect from an international hotel chain. Convenient location, security(room access card operated lifts), it has a car park 20Euros per day, which is the cheapest in central area, besides, street parking is about 2 euros per hour and only operate with a credit card. We are on a road trip mainly around north-half of France and Holland. Rotterdam beats Amsterdam as our hub for 4 nights stay. And it's well worth it looking back. All in all we are very satisfied with the hotel.

this novotel den haag is just 15 minutes from the central station. the location is just in the heart of den haag. we really love this hotel, as since this hotel is surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants, as well as the shops, and most importantly all the landmarks are within walking distance. the room was simply my style. enough space and colorful. the bfast was just perfect. with the price offered by agoda, this hotel is the best for value and quality.

My wife and I along with our two young children recently stayed at the hotel on a short break over the UK bank holiday weekend to visit Amsterdam and Keukenhof Gardens. We found the staff to be most courteous and helpful, and the facilities in the hotel were ideal for us. There was plenty of space for the children to run about (and play on the bouncy castle) and the location was perfect for the places we visited. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the quality of the dining but it certainly looked very good. All in all a great value hotel and we will certainly plan to visit again next year.

Really good value for money. We were able to book the place on sale and it was completely worth it to stay here for 1 night for the Hauge. My only wish was we could have stayed for longer as the museum is right beside the place and we just didn't have time to go. Everything inside the room worked. What was just inconvenient was that the TV, although a Smart TV, wouldn't allow us to link Netflix on to it so we could watch on the big screen. We had to figure out someway to screen mirror from the phone to make it work. Bathroom was also really nice and big, everything we expected and the kitchen was great too. Everything was complete plus a dishwasher was in place so you didn't have to do the dishes. Really a great stay and value for money, best decision to book this place, even if it was a little bit far off from the city center.

Lovely hotel overlooked an old waterway close to Rotterdam Blaak station and the Market Hall. Rooms are clean and simple with no fuss. Staff were fantastic and always went the extra mile to satisfy our needs, usually for warming up baby food or hot milk. Always happy and smiling and with great local knowledge and tips. Personally, we didn’t take the breakfast as there are so many places to eat in Rotterdam and across the road at the market hall. We did enjoy the relaxed bar area for chips, coffee and a few beers. The barman David was a top guy. Overall, a lovely 4 nights at the ibis Rotterdam city centre, which I would Highly recommend

We loved the hotel. It was clean, nice beds, balcony. Smack on the beach. Walk down and down the stairs and you have arrived. I loved that beach because its much quieter than Scheveningen and on the left one can nake walks in the dunes. Breakfast was the most elaborate I ever had in a Dutch hotel. Next time I wld book a seaview room. Did not like the roomspray; hope they'll discontinue that!

excellent hotel with friendly staff. convenient location very close to the center of delft. the hotel is very new and the room i stayed was very clean. it may be considered small hotel by some city standard but it has all the facilities and amenities you need. only limitation i see is that because the hotel is relatively small so it does not provide large variety of breakfast items one may see in some big hotels. however, the menus are healthy and has enough variety to satisfy most guests. will choose to stay there again if i ever revisit delft.

For its design, the cube-shape building is really amazing, so is the view over the irregular window frame. My room can see the old bridge and the river. Walking down the stairs, there is a plaza with day market on it and a large kanthal building with all kind of foods, flowers and goods in it. Over the other side of the stairs, there are coffee shops that you can enjoy your lunch, dinner or a drink before bed. Walking a bit more distant, you can enjoy the breeze and water reflecting the sunshine at the riverbank. The architecture and the location are too good to recommend for a stay. I enjoy it so much that would like to liver in it again if I get a chance to stay at Rotterdam again.

I booked the hotel as I had to attend a family function in Gouda - the hotel is conveniently located near the highway exit in a semi-industrialized area. With a car, this is no limitation, however, without car the hotel is too far from town. The rooms were functional but very clean. Staff was very friendly and available to communicate in Dutch, German and English with ease. While I would not recommend this hotel if you wish to spend lots of time in the hotel, it is great if you need a place to rest after a day of cycling, shopping or sightseeing or for a stopover.

If you looking for the reasonable price of hotel near Rotterdam Central station, I strongly recommend the hotel. It just takes 10mins walk from Rotterdam central station. You can find more closest hotels near the station but I recommend this hotel since the price is reasonable and you can esily access the shopping center. Moreover, you can take breakfirst with warm and clean atmosphere. But if you have a lot of baggage and don`t like walking, it is too far from your choice. Feel the Netherlands while you take a walk to the hotel. Then you don`t feel any complaint.

Pros: I was a solo traveler for my visit to Rotterdam. The hotel was great. The staff were friendly. The location was quite centralized! I walked everywhere, never needing public transportation. Cons: For a five star hotel, the beds were terrible, especially if you have a bad back. They were way to soft and looked like something that would be purchased at Ikea. Forget about laundry services.... It's like 5.5€ for a pair of underwear to be washed and like 9.5€ for a shirt. NO COMPLIMENTARY water in the rooms either.
