Where to stay in Southern District
Southern District hotels & accommodations

Upon check in I found two hairs on my bed and hairs in the bathroom from a previous guest - and asked for the bed to be remade which the hotel did. Hotel staff also said if made a tour of the diamond sales centre I would be given real pearl earrings - this was not the case and the diamond sales centre was very pushy and overpriced - I would not recommend. The locat...

It's a wonderful, beautiful place. The staff and amenities were excellent. The one important drawback is the late admission to the room. This is not the first time I've been to this hotel and it was the same problem both times. The announced room availability for check in is 3PM. I did not get my key until after 4 PM, and I was not the only one delayed like this; ano...

The hotel is really big so sometimes the service lacked a bit. But generally the staff were nice and helpful. The pool is huge and really nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing! The gym facilities were nice too. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location.

if you want a pampered stay in a 5 star hotel with reasonable prices then the rimonim hotel eilat is definetly the right choice.located at the north beach the hotel has an easy access to the beach promenade with all its restaurants, cafes and shops without getting disturbed by any noise.room are nicely decorated with a balcony and all the features of the hotel are fanta...

Need I say more. The location is excellent away from the hustle and bustle of Eilat centre. The beach is a couple of hundred yards away. It is opposite the observatory. nice pool area, helpful lifeguard, Boaz. The room was a bit tired, I so I was told ungraded, yet the picture on the booking was the room I got. Housekeeping and maintenance departments need a lot more t...

Branded as West Boutique hotel, was a bit confused on arrival with only West in the English transcription. But taxi found it OK! 5 minutes walk to the sandy public beach. Shallow and fun for kids bathing and wading, but not for proper swimming due to big waves and strong currents. Sea was warm and could stay in for hours. Shortage of rental umbrellas, ask for beach tow...

This is my 3rd time in this hotel. I am coming back because I really love it. Located in the southern beach, some would take it as a disadvantage, but I prefer it that way. If you don't have a car then you will need to use taxi (10-15$US). But, there are great restaurants around, the hotel has a great pool and a very good beach with a coral reef that you can snorkel. B...

The best hotel in dead sea. The staff are nice amd welcoming, the food is heaven. We are vegan and the chef prepared special food for us. The hotel is luxury hotel. Really 5 star! Really recommend and I wish I could live there haha but im not rich lol!

Only problem which I have with this hotel is communication with consumer.. We arrived at 19 and we could entrance at the hotel area, on the gate was phone number but no one responded.. Fortunately another couple came in the same time and we came with them.. We choice a key to room which looks the most similar like in the booking photos from keybox independently.. I thi...

I would some up as adequate 3 star, not more. There is not much to choose in Mitzpe Ramon so if you want clean rooms with comfortable beds, fridge and TV, a place for B&B, then its fine. Food okay, but limited choices by Israeli standards, we wre on half board but no dessert that my son could eat - all cakes and apple only fruit salad. Reception staff professional but...

The Red Sea Hotel was a lovely hotel. The check in was quite and my room was nice. The room was small but the bed was confortable enough for sleeping well. The air conditioner worked well here and the bathroom was clean with the shower working good too. There were kids running away making noise in the hallways before midnight however the hotel staff did there best to t...

The location is great, 5 minutes to the beach and beach promenade with restaurants, shops and all entertainment you'll need. Rooms are clean, very comfortable bed, private terrace, fridge, microwave and cooking facilities, good WIFI and a big cable flat TV with lot's of channels. In the building is a 24 hour minimart and a wine and liquor store. 15 minutes walk to...

I didn't see that pool which on the picture, otherwise the hotel is good for the money they charge. Breakfast is good, there variety of choices, salads, coffee, tea, juices, cheeses, eggs, etc. for just $12 more. Good and safe parking lot. Nice location, 5 minutes to shopping center. and a lot of restaurants and pubs. 5 minutes to beaches. The only bothering things is ...

I read many bad reviews about the state of the hotel... I must say we were surprised. Even though it was the cheapet in the area the spa facailities are amazing and so was the breakfast! Rooms were spacious enough for three people and they were clean and comfy!! I would stay again!

I’ve been in many countries and many hotels with good food but Futuny this week Leonardo Privilege suprised me. I like good food and if you like it too this hotel is for you. In opinion of all hotel guests all dishes were excellent and very tasty. Staff was friendly, no issues. Noce swinning pool and very close to everything you need, beach, exchange, stores etc. It wa...

We were moving house and only wanted to sleep there one night. We were upgraded to executive room which was very nice but for the short time we were there was not really necessary. Problem was with check in receptionist an the Guest Relationship Manager Oranit Gahari. My voucher from Agoda clearly stated, that as an Israeli citizen, I must pay 17% VAT to the hotel on c...

Staff very friendly and helpful, SPA was amazing. Multilingual and professional. Food-just all best compliments-thanks to Food and Beverage Manager. Very clean rooms. Towels changing daily. Live music at the lobby every evening. I was very impressed -recomending to all type travellers. Not much to do for kids, no playground, no playrooms. Is not much entertainment in...

We were at the Dead Sea for 2 nights. Firt night we stayed at a different hotel which had 4 stars on Agoda apparently... it was a mess! did not like it at all.... so when I saw that Crowne only had 3 I honestly did not know what to expect. I was wrong though... it was 10 times better than the other one.. big and modern room.. incredible view and very clean. We were ...

Walking distance to airport but in municipal center not hotel area. Might not be the best neighborhood but we walked at 7 pm and we're fine. Hotel has front desk person. Clean rooms. Could use sound insulation because you can occasionally hear people in the hallway. Good price.

We had booked very late and were looking for a hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. We could go on foot to places of interest and found some nice restaurants nearby. Since it is not that far from the beach front, we were able to walk from the hotel. The area is also fine and not noisy, and the hotel easy to find. Next time will book in advance to avoid surprises....

Located in the beginning of the boardwalk of Eilat, near Mall Hayam. The entrance seems renovated recently and includes several seats and a small bar. The rooms are nice, partially turn in the direction of the airport - but it seems not to disrupt too much (especially when the door to the balcony is closed). The breakfast is really good, a lot of choices that can fit ...

This hotel is great in every way---amenities, breakfast, service, spa, cleanliness. We had a super lovely room, 2 Queen sized bed, a jacuzzi and a balcony ---- one could not ask for anything more. Another plus for the hotel---- the 4 elevators were so efficient--never waited more than 10 seconds and the hotel was totally full. My husband went for the mud wrap treatment...

This hotel is having a perfect location just 350 M from the M Crater top This short walk able you to revisit the sun set and the sun raise easily The room was very clean and comfortable Breakfast is very rich huge verity as well as for vegan or veterinarians The reception and staff services are such as to make you to feel at home they are all polite and pretty mu...
Cheap places to stay in Southern District

Would definitely recommend Arava hostel. It is about a 15 minute walk from the city center and less than 10 minute walk from the central bus station. The staff were so welcoming and friendly that was probably the highlight for me. Additionally there is a very nice outdoor sitting area in front of the hostel. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Free breakfast and L...

I stayed in Palma diving resort for 3 nights, 2 nights in a private room with shared bathroom and one night in a mixed dorm room. The rooms are clean. There is a shared kitchen and all the things in the kitchen are clean because they have a dish washer. It’s good that I didn’t need to spend too much for a private room in Israel and it’s also convenient for me to h...

This is the only hostel near Massada. The hostel is new and very clean. They dont have mixed dorms. My wife and I booked 1 bed in male dorm and 1 bed in female dorm. When we arrive no beds in a male dorm were available. So the staff gave us private room for the price of dorms. We are very lucky. We are very greatfull to Russian speaking girl at reception. We don't know...

I went with a friend. When we arrived, we were told that there were not many guests, so we were in a "dorm" with no others....This could be a bit problematic if the guests insist on gender separation. We didn't care. Actually we were happy that we paid less but got more. We went hiking for almost 1 day and the view was amazing! The place is in general not very touristi...

We were very positively surprised with the standard and the cleanness of the room. But the best thing about our stay in this hostel was the breakfast, which was the best we had in all hostels and hotels during our trip in Israel. We liked the parking lot. (One thing to keep in mind is that there was no entrance to the Dead Sea in Ein Gedi. The closest one was in Ein Bo...

On the positive note: good location, great breakfast, convinient places to sit around, lobby and reception...good for family and friends together. On the other side you may need to be vigilant on the cleanliness side depend on your expectations :) it is a youth hostel mind you, but very modern and specious one.

The staff were the best part of this motel, friendly, helpful and easygoing. The facilities are quite old and shabby for the price you're paying, but don't expect anything cheap and good in Eilat. We could see the Red Sea and Jordanian mountains through the window, which was really nice, but the motel is also right in front of the central bus station, and so it's quite...

This was a great place to stay in Eilat. Very centrally located (just around the corner from the bus station and within easy walking distance of the main attractions) but very quiet. Room was small but clean. Great places to sit in courtyards outside of room and even a drying rack for wet swim wear. Only downside was a very noisy AC unit that we couldn't turn off. ...

In a four nig ht stay at the Blue, the Hotel deserves a five 'star' rating without doubt. Its top floors offer a view better than any anywhere - sunrise over the desert and Aquaba or sunset over Eilat are both great to relax and take a photo. Additionally, the staff were super helpful in assist us with a day tour to Petra, Jodan - the 'seventh wonder of the worl...

Up the hill about 10 minutes walk from the airport/center, great value for Eilat where lodging is VERY costly. But the best thing about the Hotel is Maier, the very helpful and friendly daytime manager. He was the nicest person we met in 2 weeks traveling across Israel.

Aloni Neve Zohar Guest House had provided basic but very clean and useful amenities. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a meal, the room is clean and the rooms have an outdoor patio should you want to grill and drink outdoors. Best of all, the property manager was very friendly (unfortunately, I can't recall his name) helpful and accommodating...

comfortable bed , towels and linen in good condition, frig has enough capacity, WI FI is strong. Apartments are located 10 min from North beach. 15 min by bus from Southern (Princes) beach with coral riffs . 5 min to supermarket. If you take the room with patio , mind the cats. There are plenty of them in the nearest houses. It is hard to control their access to the pa...

We were 2 couples abd got a suit with 2 bed. rooms with a big balcony with great Jacuzzi, breakfest was very big alot of choices, the swimming pools are great, the room was clean and very comfortable bed. We had a big problem to contact the owner. We got to the room and couldn't call the number from our non israeli phones. We met a man living neer by and he tried to call.... no answer. Then in the end a girl staying in a room contacted the lady who had the keys using Viber on her phone. After we got our room then another couple arrived, they also had the same problema a...

We spent 3 nights at the Rimonim Central Park. The hotel area inc rooms, lobby and pool are modern. The rooms are a good size, come with tv and air-condition with nice views of Eilats mountains and sea. The breakfast gave us a nice choice of healthy foods to pick. Breakfast was served till midday so there was no rush in the morning to wake! Overall an enjoyable expei...

I stayed here for 3 nyts. For a resort this place offered a spacious room and value for money with breakfast included. Upon arrival we also recieved a free dinner voucher from the friendly receptionist. The pool is not heated and your better off swimming at the beach as its warmer. Location is 5 min walk to tye beachfront. You can also take paddlers out around the lago...

At Isrotel employees are not allowed to think outside the box. There are restricted by all sorts of rules . The management method of helping customers with a problem is to give them a free perk such as a free meal or late check-out. That is how they deal with the many customer complains they get on an ongoing basis. At Lagoona they also have safety issues such as step...

Despite the stated check-in time of 3pm on the site, the reception claimed that 6pm is ALWAYS the normal check-in time on Saturdays. Other than that issue that was resolved swiftly with the help of Agoda CS, the hotel was excellent. The only exception being the extremely small sauna (4 people at best) and the sunning terrace on the roof was extremely basic. The breakfa...

Room very dated with stains all over carpet, breakfast was ok but no explanations and most confused about what certain things were but good enough choice, tour desk is independent from hotel but in lobby with very helpful woman who was very friendly! It was a very very nice hotel!!! I really liked it!! The staff members were very friendly and helpful!!! The only thing is that I thought it was a very small hotel with only about 50 rooms but in reality it was a big hotel and we had a separate entrance and pool but it was right together with the big hotel

The best thing about this hotel is probably the quality of the food. We had breakfast and dinner, and both were exceptionally good. Large choice, made-to-order, authentic and enough to satisfy different tastes. The major downside was the constructions next to the beach: they're building something like in underground passage and reconstructing the road between hotel and...

We had the most lovely vacation!!! The suites are grand beautiful and clean- Just in front of the sea (but for real. On the other side of the road!!) The staff was personal and warm. Highly recommended!!! We will definitely come back to Sur La Mer next year 👍☺️
