Traveling to Greece? Find Thessaloniki Department hotels

Stayed one night before my flight. The location was not too bad, but I felt farer than it looks in the map. The lobby is nice and spacious, so as the room. The room has a nice work desk so it's perfect for the-last-minute work before your flight. I ordered a red house wine and pasta from room service, They were just so good. I did not have time to experience the swimming pool, but it must be a nice one. Quite satisfactory.

El Greco is a good hotel which is located central in Thessaloniki with good public transport connections. Rooms are small but include all necessary equipment like a mini-fridge, air conditioning, hairdryer, TV. The bathroom is really small and it's almost impossible to take a shower without getting the floor wet since the curtain doesn't correspond to the shape of the tub. But this is my only negative comment. Personel is very friendly and the breakfast is quite rich for a 3-star hotel. It's a good choice for q comfortable stay in Thessaloniki since you would spend much time in the hotel room there.

We loved every minute of our stay at The Met. Will sure be back here when we return th Thessaloniki. Clean hotel, great pool with even better view, the staff were very prompt when required and the loved the kids, especially Dimitri the pool life guard. Location is five minutes from the main hub by taxi which was only a €4 either way plus the hotel has a transfer service every hour. Five star all the way.

The hotel is a nice 3 star hotel. Located well a few minutes walk from the city attractions: City center, the port, the nice colorful area of Ladadika with many restaurants. The room was nice with comfortable double bed, free Wi-Fi and a desk suitable for my computer. Breakfast was with nice variety. The hotel has it's own parking but unfortunately they are charging 10 Euros per day for the parking. Overall, the hotel was a good place for visiting Thessaloniki. Although we planned to stay only 1 night - we have booked an additional night.

We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. The nice man at reception gave us a map and told us the best ways to get to wherever we wanted to go. The room was a bit small but it had everything we needed and for a city centre hotel was really cheap. One thing was very noticeable and that was the absolute cleanliness of the hotel. We had a room at the front but were never troubled by noise. In fact it was great fun standing on the balcony watching the world go by. When you leave the hotel you turn left and then right for a host of small bars and cafes. Turn right and you will find great shops and restaurants. We will be back!

we booked this for only 3 nights, and the days were full with things to do - so it was ok. if you plan to spend time in the room, it will be disappointing: very small room, medium cleanliness, located on the central street=traffic noise, inefficient cooling (can be a problem in the summer). breakfast is always the same, but ok for 2-3 mornings. parking is horrible in the area, but the are private parkings for 10EUR/day - this is your best bet. The hotel staff works with one of these guys, so you get a small discount and you can access your car anytime (they are usually closed at night). all in all the best option we had for a short stay on limited budget.

The main reason we had booked this hotel was its close proximity to the airport and the fact that they offer a Triple Room as we are 3 friends travelling together. The shuttle service was efficient - they arrived within 15 minutes of our call.The room was fine and reasonably large. The breakfast was sufficient and the front desk staff, Manolis, was really helpful and friendly. Our flight the next day out was at an ungodly hour but Manolis had arranged our shuttle the night before and everything like a clock-work in the morning without any stress for us!! Wonderful experience!

Great quirky hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki. Greeted by great friendly staff and an early check in - they even gave me a little breakfast when I arrived to check in. Beautifully renovated with great furniture and art/ murals. Really comfy bed and lovely room. Traveled with a 12 month old who loved it and was welcomed by the staff and other guests. I stayed in the junior suite with its own terrace which was lovely but needed some shade really as it’s in the direct sun most of the day. It’s expensive for Thesssloniki and I saw it as a treat at the end of my holiday

This is a nice hotel for a decent price in downtown Thessaloniki. There is a bus stop less than a block from the hotel and you can connect to the major lines from that stop. It's relatively quiet even though it's on a busy street (didn't keep me awake at night). The rooms were clean and mostly comfortable - the pillows were flat and rather hard and the shower stall is rather small, but adequate. The bathroom was clean when I arrived and was cleaned each day of my stay. New towels and my bed was made up each day as well. It's great to have a fridge in the rooms, but the downside is that it doesn't stay on while you are gone from the room (since the key card isn't keeping the electricity on). Unfortunately, it was unseasonably warm when I was there, and I was unable to have cool air circulating in my room because only heat was available for the whole hotel. My room faced another building, so there was no chance for a breeze. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it would be nice if the individual climate controls were able to do heat or air separately from the hotel. The breakfast was good - hot scrambled eggs and sausages, a selection of cold meats & cheeses, fresh fruit, breads, juice, coffee, tea, etc. I felt safe here and would return again! Rooms are small, but adequate and are nicely renovated.

I stayed there for a night cuz i rented a car from airport, my plan was to go to Petralona Cave from coast and see a couple of beaches and come back, hang around Kalamaria and stay there, so not to go to city center with a car because of a traffic jam. I bet the place is awesome when it is summer but for winter it looked dead to me. There was no one around 9am so i had to squize my key in between door and wall on reception's door.

Everything was lovely. Breakfast gave us a really large option, which isn't always the case with smaller hotels in European cities. Really excellent. However, there were two major disappointments: 1. In asking for help to get to Chalkidiki without a car/which beaches to go to/how to get around/etc., the receptionist/conicerge was extremely unhelpful. We had to basically figure everything out for ourselves and if it hadn't been for a taxi driver which gave us a lot of info, we would have gotten completely lost in an area far away from the hotel. This was absolutely incompetent and unacceptable at a 4 star hotel. 2. We had hoped to use the spa of the hotel, which was highly advertised, to be kept waiting for over an hour after the supposed opening of the spa (11am, which in my mind was already quite late), and then have only ONE person available to offer services. Again, disappointing given the expectations and standards of a 4 star hotel/spa. Other than that, everything else was impeccable and a lovely experience. I hope the hotel takes this as helpful feedback to further their standards to what is to be expected.

Holiday inn Thessaloniki is so called 5 star hotel, but it is actually not. it is not located right in the center of down town but is reachable by foot. my wife and i stayed there for 2 nights and the hotel can fulfill our basic needs. one incident happened which i think it is worth sharing. I could not locked the window so I called Housekeeping to help. A man came and he could not locked as well. and he asked me why do I need to lock the window, and i said i needed to lock the window. eventually he fixed it.
