The hotel is strategically located as it is walking distance to 3 main visiting sites in my plan. Firstly, the hotel is right next to the river where the TIanjin Eye is. We had a g...

A lot of thought had obviously gone into the decor, the bathroom was pure pleasure, state-of-the-art technology, extremely comfortable bed. The pool is great despite being in the basement, beca...

Hyatt Regency Tianjin East is basically a fine hotel but its present location is rather remote, not convenient and away from most amenities. Its last location in the city centre was more ideal. Also the fitness club staff require hotel guests to use a swimming cap or purchase one at an inflated price at the fitness centre or they will not be allowed to use the swimming...

It's a long metro ride from the heart of Tianjin, but it's a very nice little hotel. They offer a nice breakfast off the main entrance for 29 RMB, when it's not included in your hotel room fee, which was my case. It's in one of the newer zones of Tianjin, but there is a lot of infrastructure that is right there and convenient. About a 25 minute walk to the nearest met...

The hotel is located in the same building as the metro subway entrance. Quite a few halal restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance (which is good for those muslim travelers) and near enough to various shopping districts in Tianjin by subway. The laundry room is well maintained and spacious enough for us to do laundry. The hotel building looks old but the room is c...

With the restaurant on ground floor, we can have our breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The food is tasty and not expensive. The hotel features are very good and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. It is located not far from the Tianjin Binhai International Airport and there is no shops or restaurants around the hotel. We had our lunch and dinner at the chinese restaurant in the hotel.I found that the foods are good and the price is reasonable.

Good stay. I was worried when I received two confirmation emails after only booking one room one time. I arrived and the hotel had no record of my booking. After talking with agoda customer service for a few minutes, then waiting on hold for what seemed like an eternity (was probably 5-10 minutes) the customer service rep told me it was all straightened out. I booked the executive room in advance, so I chose to check in at the club lounge as soon as I arrived at the hotel. However, only interns went to work that day and were told that they could not check in at the club lounge. believe the picture you are seeing, hotel, 3 thumbs up, taking lots of picture with this complete hotel, nice hotel, nice room, but little bit too far from tianjin airport and culture street of tianjin, completely a new township which tianjin finance heart was. must try out this hotel for honeymoon.

Check in no problem. But when come to check out, the front desk ask us to pay for the room even though payment has been made by credit card through Agoda. Takes some time to cross check by calling here and there then only settle the problem. Besides that, it's a wonderful stay in this hotel!

I chose this hotel for its position close to railway station and as it was great price.I checked in at 2am due to a delayed flight, but no problems. Room was big and very well furnished. Unfortunately, apart from breakfast, I did not have chance to experience the rst of the facilities.
Cheap places to stay in Tianjin Municipality

This hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to major attractions. I also got to buy my tickets for the Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel from the lobby, which gave guests a slight discount. The hotel also offers softer beds compared to other hotels of similar prices. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Best value for your money.

The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood, room dirty and smelly. Ask for a Taxi to take me out and reception called a relative to take me and tried to rip me off for twice as much as a licences taxi. That was reception !!! Avoid like the plague is my advise !

if you like to discover the living style of the local ppl, there is a local wet market just behind the street of the hotel. besides that, the hotel is very near to a "bu xing jie" and "yang hou jie" which the main street selling the local food and stuffs.

Check in no problem. But when come to check out, the front desk ask us to pay for the room even though payment has been made by credit card through Agoda. Takes some time to cross check by calling here and there then only settle the problem. Besides that, it's a wonderful stay in this hotel!

A very convenient location not too far from the train station, and even closer to the next metro station on the line to the airport. Plenty of food options nearby and we enjoyed the Tianjin Roast Duck restaurant. A great value stay before catching a morning flight.

Jinjiang Inn located in Xianyang Road, which you could find bus stop infront hotel, restaurant at the hotel side and even local market nearby. The hotel staff is helpful, even most of the Tianjin people are modest and helpful. You could taste the different north style in Tianjin.

this hotel has great location near a bus station in the middle of everywhere in the city.the room and bathroom sizes are adequate. the hotel is quiet with both lan and wifi.the staff are cooperative and smiling with some english speaking.the only drawback was the television with plenty of chinese channels and nothing else.

the outlook of this hotel is very charming, the room is clean and big. however, there are old and dirty down around this hotel. you will not interest to go out this hotel. and this hotel which is far away to the subway station, therefore, taxi is the only choice to leave this hotel. staff is very helpful to call taxi for you

We were giving a king size bed. The bed is very comfortable and the water is hot enough for shower. All the staffs are very helpful. They said too many one way street?!In general this hotel is up to international standard. Thumbs u...

Very good but not great; the map on Agoda is wrong, hotel is actually on the other side of the street, i discovered this after a hour of walking and a visit to another JI branch by the river. Checked into a awfully dirty 2 bedroom apartment. Looked like the place had not cleaned for a long time. Big Visible dust bunnies on the floor(really), bedrooms' carpet had stains and big dust balls all over the place. Bed covers looked like a big mountain of mess. The breakfast is supplied before 9AM, I think it's better to be extended to 10AM. The staff was polite and housekeeping team did great job. I booked a queen-bed room but they gave me twins, I was not comfortable about that decision and they said there was no suitable room for me.

Somerset Olympic Tower Tianjin is definitely a good hotel to stay, especially for the family. We love the heated swimming pool and use it almost everyday during the winter. The unit that we stayed was just like an apartment, complete with everything the family...

St Regis Tianjin is located along the riverside which is easily assessable to places and nearby there is a Riverside 66 mall which has restaurants and shops. I stayed here for 6 nights. Initially housekeeping replenished 4 bottles of water (standard). However, I'm like part elephant. I go through the 4 bottles in about 3-4 hours. On my third day here, I noticed housekeeping put 6 bottles in my room instead of 4. And yes... I drank all 6. Not once did I request more water but housekeeping cared to notice my abnormal consumpt...

Fast and friendly check in, professional and attentive service. Room standard is good, clear big rooms with comfortable bed and pillows. Definitely a good hotel if one is on business in TEDA area, but not convenient for a visit in Tianjin. A bit expensive since not even the breakfast in included.

located within walking distance to Tianjin Municipal People's Government Offices and near shopping, night life, the Tianjin International Exhibition Centre (INTEX) and new Meijiang Convention Centre. just 15 minutes from the Tianjin railway station and its high-speed trains to Beijing.

We stayed in Tianjin in transit to the airport. We arrived late and left early. No opportunity to use any of the facilities of the hotel, no time for breakfast. I purchased the room on the basis of price, and hence I had no idea as to ther location of the hotel, except that it was in the city.

I was quite disappointed in this hotel. The location is very poor, don't stay here unless you are on business in the immediate area. It's at least 1 hour by car outside of Tianjin. The staff are friendly and try to help as much as possible but the hotel itself is just outdated and tired. Breakfast was average, standard was quite low. The facilities were worse. The ba...

Nice river view, minutes from the subway, five star luxury hotel with a nice swimming pool and a gym that not too many people are using. Hotel is only a few years old, so everything still looks new.
