We had a nice stay in Lugano The hotel was fine for the summe warm fall. It's not cozy. The manager was not friendly and the friendly and kind staff are overworked and under paid.

Everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. However, be careful of the complimentary 30min free wifi. I was charged a daily rate for not disconnecting once I was finished. Subsequently I was even charged double! Courtesy shuttle to lugano train station and city centre is a bonus tho.

Near to the lake, very quiet room. Choices of breakfast is good. It will be best if rooms are equipped with water kettle, especially when we need to make milk for our toddler. Check in and out are swift. Staffs are friendly.

Great value for money but we had difficulty locating the hotel initially. Need to be travelling north on the freeway to enter the hotel access road. The staff were pleasant, our room was very quiet with large comfortable bed and TV with multiple languages. Nice touch was free good quality coffee, croissants and cake in the reception area.

The hotel is very good and centrally located. it has is own parking space so good for travellers arriving by car! It is close to the bus station and shopping aera! Just next to train station, my room on 7th floor, ie quiet. Good restaurant, plain food with reasonable prices, staff helpful. Seems to be fine for bike travellers, too. Ery good price - confort ratio

Hotel seemed expensive but reasonable for that area. Staff very friendly and helpful. The limited parking is for very small cars, can be tricky to park. Food was quit good, excellent breakfast. Room was clean and large enough. We would stay there again.

lovely stay with perfect location at the centre of ascona. the service was forthcoming, the breakfast impeccable and the rooms cozy. parking is (10 minute walk) fro free. if in ascona again, annie's b&b would be the place to stay. one tip-you can drive the car to the b&b, just press the button before the barrier of the "no-car" zone and it will automatically open.
