Traveling to United Arab Emirates? Find Umm al-Quwain hotels

Flamingo Beach Resort property name but no complementary Flamingo visit for all guests....only for in-house Russian guests as per Recepcenist Ms. TULLU. We were little bit upset because we have chosen this property for our kid 7 yrs old. Not only that swimming pool is not temperature controlled which is not good for other nationality like us except Russian guests. My daughter fall in sick due to non temperature controlled pool. The most important thing you can't enjoy the beach due to water current. But yes one good thing is Crab Hunting experience luckily we got complementary while booking through your site since we booked our stay with dinner. Property should think for all guests.

The amenities which were stated and in the photos were not the same with the appearance and layout of the room. The room I booked was a Suite beach front which has 2 beds, 1 king size and 1 queen bed (as stated in Agoda). However, when we came there we only saw 1 bed. The Palma beach hotel was insisting that it was the room that we booked for, which they call as Double Room beach view, and they don't have a 2-bedroom villa in the resort. The Executive Suite that they have according to her is the same with our room, but costs a little more since it was newly renovated. The pictures were also deceiving, since in the photos, I saw that the villa has 2 floors, and the upper floor has a balcony which was also stated in the amenities. However, as per the resort hotel, the balcony is the space in front of the room. I called Agoda during check in to complain these, but I was not given a sensible option. I was only given the option to Cancel the booking with full refund or be provided with an extra bed. Cancelling the booking is not an option since I have planned for this a long time ago. So I chose to be provided with an extra bed, wherein I was provided with a SINGLE folding bed with foam. I am very much disappointed with how things turned out which was way out of what I have expected. And besides, we have encountered a lot of problems during our stay! The receptionist was very rude and not helpful, lacks customer service and always replies with a NO! The air condition in the living room is not working and my guests were using paper plates as fan. How embarrassing! We called the Maintenance but just gave us the reason that it was hot outside that's why the AC is not cold. During the night, we also had problems with the AC inside the room since it stopped cooling and was making a very loud noise, hence we were not able to rest and sleep well. The overall experience was not a very pleasant one.

I stayed at Royal Residence Main for a night in order to know Um al Qwain, an emirate close to Dubai. It is at a 100 dinars from Dubai and it is made of bungalows. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms big and nice with the blu and white simple tiles. There is a swiming pool and a good restaurant at the exit, which shows good arab environment. Attractions are far away and a taxi is needed. Not expensive, though.

We had a wonder full weekend in this hotel. We were welcomed with a fruit basket in our room and a full size fridge. The room size were good with an on suite lounge area. The hotel has a small but well maintained garden and a excellent pool area. Some of the rooms are right on the beach. For meals you can choose from a ala carte menu from the pool bar or buffet in the hotel dining area. The only down side of the hotel is the old furniture in the rooms. I can recommend this hotel for a short break away.

Everything was okay except for two old Indian couple who shamefully shouted at us and claiming that it was their Nipa Hut. When we went to the front desk, it was confirmed by the reception that Nipa Hut 1 was available, the hotel staff even helped us to lit our charcoal and set up our griller. And After an hour, one old Indian man who approached us, he was frantically shouting and behaving like crazy! And claiming that it was their nipa. So, I asked him If this was reserved by them and if yes, where is the reserved card or their name on it. But apparently, they don’t have any proof that it was reserved by them. Good thing, the hotel security and staff handled these bully Old couple very well and calmly. But these old couple demanded and power tripping to the staff that they want this and that in order for them to stop bullying and attacking and spoiling our night. Thanks to the staff and security who handled it professionally and extended their patience to these bullies.
