Veneto Region hotels & accommodations

Hotel is very near the Venezia Sta lucia train station, maybe 3 mins walk, so coming from Florence with our 4 huge luggages made it very convenient for us. There are many restaurants and stores nearby. There is also a supermarket near the hotel so everything you need is within reach. The hotel’s location is a bit far if you want to go to San Marco where the Basilica an...

This hotel is grorgeous. More than what we expected. Beautiful modern and clean rooms and bathrooms. Wonderful canal views. Delicious and ample breakfast included. The location is just right. Just the right distance from San Marco square and the Rialto bridge. This is a big one, I slept like a baby! Sound proof rooms! I am a light sleeper, and slept the best in this ho...

We stayed here on a recommendation and it lived up to expectations. Room had everything you would need. Breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful for booking restaurants and offering advice. I would stay here again. The location was the best thing about the hotel, we walked everywhere. And was easy to get to from the airport boat too. Fantastic hotel!!

From the hotel to the train station/main water bus stop is about a 10-minute walk and there's also a water bus stop (Tre Archi) right outside of the hotel. It is away from the busy area but at the same time only a few minutes from the street with supermarkets. There's also a street where local people go eat close by, about two water bus stations (OrtO) from the Tre Arc...

This hotel is amazing. The details through the hotel are spot on. The photos do not do the hotel justice, it is better. The room had everything, nothing out of place, nothing even slightly wrong. From the moment you walk in you are always greeted with friendly helpful staff at reception, around the hotel and in the dinning room. Nothing was too much trouble. The locati...

around 8 minutes walk from Mestre Station , stay for 2 nights . The receptionist and hotel staff are very friendly and in the lobby we can bring our own food to eat or drink , it become very live , we love it. Buy some noodle in big supermarket around 5 minutes walk and can cook in the kitchen. After we visit Venice island we find that we have made the correct decis...

Never regretted staying in Best Western Bologna to see the historical Venice canals. Just take the 1.8 euro train to Venice (train station is just opposite the hotel and only takes 10-15mins to reach Venice).Their room is spacious, clean and newly upgraded. The breakfast is totally fantastic compared to food outside hotel. We had an upgraded room and they gave us surpr...

This hotel is next to the Rialto bridge which is probably the most strategic hotel location in Venice. Reception staff were very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Good english. They assist with concert bookings, tours etc. One word of warning, there is only one lift and many rooms are a long way from it, up and down a maze of stairs. We were close to the lift but yo...

The hotel was fully booked so we were relocated in Loca Azzurra Bed & Breakfast, about 100 m. from the hotel. Only three rooms in the first floor, without reception. Comfortable bed and wide room. Bathroom was small and needed some maintenance (bathroom furniture, shower). Breakfast was served everyday from 8:00 to 10:00 in the ground floor. The first day was really go...

Value for money & booking with Agoda cheaper & convenient. Hotel furnishings superb & staff excellent. I was sick & hospitalise at Angelo Di Mestre for a day the hotel very helpful & offered good rate for extended stay. Taxi driver are very nice people. Breakfast was excellent & the restaurant here is the best...must dine!

The only place to stay if you want to be dropped off by speedboat from the airport at the door - great experience. The hotel is well decorated with very comfortable rooms, there is a spa available via a short trip in the hotels water taxis though on this occasion we did not visit. Breakfast buffet very good and you can eat on the terrace (spectacular views) if the weat...

Highly recommend this hotel. It is located in Mestre and is a 15 minutes ride by bus from the Venice island. The best thing is that there is a bus stop located right outside the hotel from where you can catch a bus straight to Venice, and also a supermarket literally next door. We bought a day pass for public transportation and it was great value as we came back from ...

We absolutely loved our stay in Venice! This is by far the best hotel weve stayed in out of all the hotels that weve booked during our recent Euro Trip. They had a wide variety of food for breakfast (compared to the rest of the hotels that weve booked in Paris, Zurich, Milan and Rome). Their staff was friendly and accommodating! And our room was always tidy. Only drawb...

Coming from a Florence bnb I was delighted to check into Canal Grande hotel. Right from the start before my arrival I had emailed to the hotel asking about transport options to and from Venice train station and airport and the staff had been v responsive and provided clear directions. That had left me with a good first impression (I didn't get any response from another...

This is the best hotel I ever had ! If you like to stay in a beautiful luxury hotel I'm highly recommend this hotel. The interior deco and room was very unique and feels like you are in the royal place. Breakfast, environment, services are perfect ! Just right next to the centre attraction Piazza San Marco (1 minute walk). Luna Baglioni is exactly behind the Chanel bou...

I booked a Grand Canal view room.Everything was very nice ,location very good, staff was very friendly and try help you always ,cleanliness(and here i want to raiting with 10 stars),because the women that clean the room also arrange the clothes that was leaved on floor ,when we change faster to go and throw them down, first time i see this in hotel and i wanna say thank ...

Right behind San Marco square, this hotel was lovely (Probably a good spot for loved up couples) and the staff were amazingly helpful with directions and needs etc. Couldnt fault the stay, we were here in low season, which was fantastic as far as beating the crowds and securing a very good rate.

I would stay here again if I come back to Venice. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. It's located far from the main station but close to the interesting points. Restaurants around the hotel are also very good. Even if it's 2 star hotel but very worth of money. The only minus point is there is no elevator if you carr...

The hotel is relatively close to the main train station, and very close to a water taxi station to get to other parts of Venice. The room was spacious, had a good bed and the perfect bathroom. Except for the creepy man (i presume from a neighbouring property?) who kept peering down into our window from his (a few times! And it crept me out!), I have no complaints about...

The hotel is a bit aged. Meaning it could use a renovation however that may be the charm to the place as well. Old Venetian. You would be staying at the heart of all the action 1 min walk to the plaza, dodge palace, bascilla, and the gandola port. Easy to walk from ferry. Next to all the shops and eateries. Best location

Ai Cavalieri is situated mid-way between Rialto bridge, Piazza San Marco, and Fondamente Nove, which is arguably the best location in Venice. It is easy to reach all the major attractions, but is in a quieter area that does not have the same bustle of tourists as San Marco. It also has a small water canal at the back, which means one can get to/from the airport via wat...

We chose the Excelsior on Lido because it's beach/pool with the easy option to go into Venice....so it's the best of both worlds. The complimentary boat to/from is a real tangible benefit that adds value to the price. The manager, Giorgia, was so helpful to us. She has a great understanding of hospitality and was incredibly professional and kind.

It was so great! the location was perfect, it took less than 5 mins from the station by walking. and every staffs were so kind and friendly. clean room, satisfactory amenities and best thing was the breakfast place. every morning i had nice meal with pretty canal view it helped my trip to be better :)

We arrived at this hotel after finishing a cruise at Venice port. We took a taxi a short distance from the port for 20 euro to the Piazzale Roma. The taxi delivered us, a group of four adults with 4 large suitcases, to this area where there are a number of men with very large trolleys for transporting cases up and down the bridges of Venice. Though our hotel was not...

Wonderfully surprised by this hotel. Starting with our arrival, everything was pleasant and comfortable at this hotel. We arrived straight at the door in our water taxi (hotel has a private dock). The staff and Enrico the bellboy went above and beyond to make our group of 6 feel welcomed and comfortable. All three of our rooms were beautiful, spotless and comfortable. ...

We didn’t regret a single bit on booking this hotel, mainly because of it’s location. It is just a few meters from the train station and we don’t need to take the boat or walk around Venice with our luggage. There are no buses or trains in Venice, and the only available options are the ferries/boats. We saw a lot of people struggling with their luggages on ferries or ...

We booked 2 triple rooms for a family of 6 for Oct 2016 at the Royal San Marco Hotel but upon check in Reception so graciously upgraded as to 2 one bedroom suites! Not only were the rooms luxuriously comfortable, complete with amenities and immaculately clean- we even had a stunning view of Venezia's canals as the rooms had balconies to savour the picturesque skyline o...

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. Choose a Lagoon view junior suite (the views are spectacular). Our room on the third floor had a double balcony with chairs and table overlooking the lagoon, where we could sit sipping our complimentary prosecco and watch the world go by. Our enormous bed was so comfortable, and the room had coffee table and seating, along wit...
Cheap places to stay in Veneto Region

around 8 minutes walk from Mestre Station , stay for 2 nights . The receptionist and hotel staff are very friendly and in the lobby we can bring our own food to eat or drink , it become very live , we love it. Buy some noodle in big supermarket around 5 minutes walk and can cook in the kitchen. After we visit Venice island we find that we have made the correct decis...

I can absolutely recommend this wonderful area - you even can not call it a camping place - it is far mor than that - there are different wonderful mobile homes in different sizes, a really nice pool for guests (free entrance), cheap shuttle bus directly to Venice, free nice working WiFi, a really delicoius restaurant and bar. In the evening there are some parties insi...

The room was quite big and clean. The host was very helpful. It was close to the train/bus station and supermarket. Agoda messed up the booking by just booking a double bed for 2 adults and 2 kids but the host offered us a triple room. He also let us keep our luggage for the whole day after check out. There were two bathrooms among 4 rooms but it was always available ...

The location is the best, just 2 ferry stops to St Marco. Great view. The bed is comfy and clean with individual socket and lamp (though a bit dim). Storage space is nice if u prepare a lock like every other traveler. The common area is of friendly design and setting. Staff is all friendly and extremely helpful. The only weakness is no kitchen and there is one sink in ...

The location is about 10-15mins walk away from Venice Mestre Train Station (going thru an underpass nearby). The place is ideal if you want good and affordable accommodations just outside of the Venice Santa Lucia tourist trap. The toilet and shower rooms are kept generally clean and with ample hot water. The beds are pretty comfortable with clean sheets, although th...

The reception received at Hotel Atlantide started our two days in Venice on the right foot. She provided us with a great room and was very pleasant. Room met our needs and enabled us to get most out of our two days in Venice through staying at two different locations after booking mishaps..

We're staying within the triple room that was announced to have bathroom inside. What was a surprise, when we came and an administrator has give us the room #101 with the external bathroom saying that all other 2 rooms were occupied! They claimed to have in-room safe - don't believe they don't and administrator told us that he's no responsibility for the facility list...

This place is one of my favorites during my trip. Very friendly and helpful staffs, the room is clean, the place in general is clean. In my room I had two bathroom so it’s was easy for me and my roommates to use in early morning. I definitely recommend this place!!!

Then while I was away, took all my belongings in the room into a pile in the hallway to make place for the new guests after 1 night. Tried to put me in a dorm as an alternative. Hang up on me on the phone because I was upset at the situation and talked a bit loud. I didn't swear or insulted him. Finally put me in a less nicer room in another place but at this point, I...

Staying outside of Venice was the best idea we had. Bus #2 was at the doorstep of Hotel Garibaldi and took us easily back & forth to Venice. Our 48 hour bus pass bought at the hotel desk covered all trips with Bus #2 and all the water bus (Vapotettos) trips we made on the Grand Canal and out to the outer islands (paid $30 E which paid for itself afte 1 day). We came ba...

The hotel was easy to find. The breakfast was above my expectations. For that price I was expecting just a croissant and a cup of coffee. WiFi worked well, but maybe because my room was just above the reception area where the router was. The beach and shopping streets were close.

A clean room in an Air Bnb style house cheapish and about 20 minutes from P.Roma (Bus and train station) We got to do our laundry for free :) Cons: I was expecting a B&B but it wasn't... The heating didn't work so it was cold...We found it hard to sleep on the first day but slept well on the second... no hot water on day 1 but got fixed on day 2... Since it was a ro...

When you have a car, I recommand this hotel. In the morning, we found several wild aninmals at outside of window and air was very fresh. Also scenes were fantastic. Receptionist recommended dinner restaurant nearby that hotel, distance 2 km, that was very quiet and could not find ourselves. Even though we waited 1 hour, my family can not forget that dinner. Steaks we...

We were upgraded from double room in hotel to an apartment down the road from the main hotel which was amazing big place with lovely gardens - sleeps 4 as double bed and sofa bed which my son used - said it was comfortable and I can say the Kingsize bed was very comfortable. Had a little kitchenette there with fridge, dish washer - my only criticism was there was no ba...

We chose this hotel because we were travelling with our car and wanted to see Venice (only for one day). The room was clean, quiet, the staff very friendly. Parking is free. The bus station ist appr. 10 min. walk. A ticket to Venice costs € 7, the ride takes appr. 20 min. Breakfast was "italian" - but ok. Perfect cost-benefit-relation!

We have reserved a Double room with an extra bed and shared bath. The towels offers are similar to the kitchen sets. We ordered extra ones as we are 3 persons. They wanted to charge us 1 Euro for each towel. The owner is rude. The breakfast is almost a snack: a drink - one mini croissant and one small jam jar for each person.

The hotel is located right on the Grand Canal. We were able to take the Alilaguna boat directly from Marco Polo Airport to St. Stai Vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, which is about a five-minute walk from the hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk to St. Mark's Plaza and anywhere else you'd like to get to in Venice. Our room was on the third floor, and though not dir...

The issue we have with the property is that we searched for and had confirmed an apartment, which means flat in other words, which must be fully self-contained. What we actually got was a bedroom sleeping three people, with a bathroom. Just a hotel room in other words. The kitchen was shared with the other B&B guests. The kitchen came with no knives and forks or spoons...
4-star hotels in Veneto Region

It was so great! the location was perfect, it took less than 5 mins from the station by walking. and every staffs were so kind and friendly. clean room, satisfactory amenities and best thing was the breakfast place. every morning i had nice meal with pretty canal view it helped my trip to be better :)

the location is at the north of the island so it take some walking to reach there. however if you don't like walking why come to venezia? if on a 2 day trip make sure you use a backpack then. once we enter the hotel we absolutely love the hotel interior style. the front desk was very helpful efficient too. the room condition is sparkling clean with a nice big bath tub ...

Wonderfully surprised by this hotel. Starting with our arrival, everything was pleasant and comfortable at this hotel. We arrived straight at the door in our water taxi (hotel has a private dock). This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently and could not fault it for anything. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was large and contained everything you could want from a hotel room. The buffet breakfast was expansive and full of great food. They even had a barista to make coffee if you didnt fancy the percolated type...

We stayed here for 8 days in Aug 15. The rooms were huge, the bed was big and comfortable. The style of the hotel reminds me of an old 5 star hotel which unfortunately had to cut back a little in more recent times. Despite this, the hotel still seemed well-maintained. The Jacuzzi was no longer functional but I had no issue with that as I wasn't planning on using it. Th...

Staff are nice & very helpfull. Buffet breakfast is plenty and good value for money at €4 per person. Hotel is close to the airport and very near a bus stop, where you can get a metro going to Venice city center. Room is spacious and clean. Got the amenities we needed for our few days stay including daily complimentary bottled water. They offer airport shutt...

I had a very private room in the building across the canal from the main hotel. It was very nice, almost like having an apartment. The bathroom was one of the largest I have had in Europe. Very nice large shower. The interior was very modern but comfortable. Although it was not connected to the main hotel, it was very secure. I had three doors! The second open...

The majority of hotels in Venice are 'old'! Therefore, it is impossible to expect modern 3-5-star hotels. We chose the All'Angelo as it was close to St Mark's Square -- not a cheap hotel area! The Reception staff were excellent: helpful and friendly. Breakfast (buffet) was adequate for us: scrambled eggs and bacon (don't like scrambled eggs so didn't try this), choic...

Very well situated, Lido center, 2 min. from vaporetto station, 15 min. walk to the beach, lots of restaurants, coffee shops and stores all around. Staff very helpful, room cleaned and towels changed daily, bed linens changed every 2 days. Good breakfast, wide choice of food and fruit, excellent coffee which was to be expected (they are Italians after all... ;) Public ...

We were worried because when we arrived, we were told there was an error with the booking and they sent us to their sister hotel. However, they made up for the mistake by putting us in a suite at hotel principe which was one of the best hotels we stayed at. It even had a balcony overlooking the canal and 2 bathrooms. Great customer service!

The AD Place Hotel is In a great location, within walking distance from most tourist attractions and close to some nice little eateries. However, the most outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff. Every staff member my husband and I interacted with we're friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The night prior to our arrival, we realised that our booking ...

This is the best hotel I ever had ! If you like to stay in a beautiful luxury hotel I'm highly recommend this hotel. The interior deco and room was very unique and feels like you are in the royal place. Breakfast, environment, services are perfect !

Look no further and book here in the executive level. The amenities at this level surpass any costs which you would incur for drinks and food in Venice. The shuttle boat is the way to go it takes you directly to San Marco square. This is our 3rd trip to Venice and we will return to this hotel. Note that many hotels in Venice require massive walking and the standards ...

My father insisted we stay here having had done so himself when his father took him to Venice. He assured me that I would be remissed if I didn't. The Danieli is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. My jaw dropped walking into the lobby. The ceiling and the sky light instantly made me a snap happy tourist. I had to take in all the details and...

Hotel Nani Moncenigo exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, I knew we would be taken care of very well. We were greeted by friendly staff, then shown to our wonderful room, a good size and plenty of space, usual for Venice. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job during our stay, with turndown service every evening. Breakfast was ...

Location is delicious, across the water from St Mark's Square, with both an ajacent Vaporetto stop and a free shuttle boat connecting to the city centre, but peaceful and quiet away from the bustle and with a wide labyrinth of a garden... Excellent 5 star service, and a good restaurant open till late. We were extremely well looked after and greatly enjoyed spending ...

I spent 2 nights at this hotel, and I feel could be extend for more nights if I had more free time. I had very nice stay , with the huge room, good amenities, clean room ,very helpful staff. For sure, will recommend this hotel, and will comeback one day.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, a few minutes walk from the water bus stops, good local restaurants and bars, and the beach. Very helpful and attentive staff, a beautiful bedroom and an exceptional breakfast which we ate outdoors under the pretty balcony at the front of the hotel..

We had probably not one of the best rooms within the price category we paid for. It came with a huge bathroom but compared to the size of the room a tiny little shower cubicle only. As it was expected the room had no view. The hotel is undergoing some construction/renovation process. The noise of it particularly in the morning hours is disturbing. Apart from the above ...

Feel like a star in a movie.... Great hotel with good location for shopping and sightseeing. Wonderful view too. Got a room on the high floor with partial sea view of Venice. Superb and helpful services on the desk. Will be better if they put us at the Europa building.

we arrived ca sagredo very late at night. the hotel staff was very helpful to pick up our baggages from the water taxi, reception staff also helpful and speak very good english. breakfast was very good although only very limited choices. we like the breakfast place so much and you feel like you are living in a palace.

Boscolo Venezia has a wonderful location and very attentive staff; each encounter with them was genuine and made you feel like family. Comfortable bed; gem of a garden, which was the best surprise. The very traditional decor was not my preference, but it is well maintained. Watch out for the mosquitos, but they are all over Venice. Really appreciated the free shuttl...

Location quite far from the centre of venice, but can be reach by bus about 20 minutes.. This place is exceptional for beauty, services etc..we did miss Paulo this time around...but the remainder of staff from five years ago were as wonderful as ever..our daughter choose to have her wedding there four years ago and brought about r0 Canadians along..every single one said that Paulo and his staff put on an exceptional reception...same wonderful place...just ...

Just loved it. It's in the middle of a small town, close to the trainstation, easy to reach venice or padova. Affordable with a fantastic Italian style restaurant. Good value for money. The rooms are just marvelous. Clean, modern design in a historic building.

This was our first time in cortina and we wanted to stay in a new hotel with access to the Spa (sauna, steam room, etc), so this was the perfect choice. Pros - new, clean & modern boutique hotel. Free Access to Spa for hotel guests (sauna, steam room, heated small pool, etc),which makes a huge difference after a long winter day. Breakfast was also included, which wa...
