This place was great! We had the bundled package including room & 5 course degustation dinner which was superb! The room was spacious, very well equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely attentive and courteous; we felt like this was a true 5-star experience. The bed wasn't as comfortable as hoped, but everything else was fantastic!
We booked a studio room for 3 people and it was clean and beautifully furnished. Had the basics we needed for an overnight stay. Conveniently located across from Franz Joseph Glaciers guide center and hot pools. 4 Square was only a short 5 mins drive away. Had beautiful scenery. Friendly staff and easy communication. We stayed here to visit the glaciers & explore a little of the west coast. Great hotel, big rooms and especially loved the heated floors in the bathroom! There’s a supermarket across the road, bottle shop and restaurants next door.

We have stayed here few times, always spend nice quiet time surrounded beautiful bush. Only one disappointed thing in this time was hot shower was too weak ( first time to use shared bath ) . Hopefully It will be fixed till next time.

I booked at Te Hui House but when I arrived, they told me I would be staying in the Punakaiki Beach Hostel instead. This was one of the best hostels I've been to in NZ - lovely small dorms, cozy and clean kitchen-lounge, good atmosphere, beautiful location. Not to mention you could buy freshly baked bread from the reception. I can easily recommend it to anyone.

Perfect B&B. Al and Rosie are very hospitable and friendly. Felt like home. I got a piece of homemade carrot pie when I arrived. Room is very clean and cosy. Flowers in de room. Breakfast is the best I have had in NZ. Homemade bread, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit etc. It was a pity I could only stay one night.

We would rate this a 3 star not 4 star hotel. While the guesthouse was very nice it was a bit shabby. Room was clean & very comfortable. It was very spacious and had access by a back door to the garden.

The hosts made us feel at home. Made us a nice cup of tea with biscuits and chocolates after a long drive. We were also treated with fresh eggs from their barn. We'll definitely recommend this place if you're planning a trip to Greymouth.

Google for a night, you only receive 50 megs of Internet but just ask and they keep giving you more. Comfortable bed.
The unit was excellent for what we needed. The only thing we would comment on was the possible need of a non-slip mat in the shower recess ...especially for older folk . This is an observation not a criticism in any way .

Lovely property and beautiful miners cottage rooms. The rooms have been very tastefully done and are massive with a nice balcony. Unfortunately, the only challenge with the hotel is the location as it is very small town and everything shuts down by 6-6:30 in town. Nearest town is greymouth 30 min away for grocery and basic items. Overall, still a memorable stay!

Was a welcome suprise to stay at such a spotlessly clean and new premises. Little thoughtful touches everywhere - we had a very comfortable night here. Superbly located and spacious, excellent TV options in each room and wifi, we couldn't have asked for anything more.
