Western Cape Province hotels & accommodations

This my 2nd time at this location. I will always book with them when I go to Cape town. It's great for the price. What I will say is it is great, and staff extra helpful and mannered. One thing to put you up on is the 1st floor has a big balcony and the 2nd one is a smaller one. The perks of the smaller balcony is the room furniture is a bit more decked out. Not that t...

The staff was absolutely wonderful!! They made our stay in Cape Town the most memorable vacation we have ever had, ( we travel) alot. Hlonela and the new girl with the short blond hair went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the BEST, we are forever greatful. From the location, room size and staff we give Icon 5 stars!! We will definitely recommend Icon Luxury ...

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon and I’m so glad we did. If you are after all out luxury this is the place to come. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. The food and wine is amazing, the setting is incredible and there is enough to do to keep you busy (guided walks, bike rides, the spa, pool). Splash out and get one of the rooms with the ...

Stayed here 6 nights and could not have been happier. Room was modern and well appointed with a great kitchen area. Fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning and the fridge was stocked daily with food, soda, and snacks. It was so great making a little breakfast every morning in the morning! Staff and front desk was amazing! Wifi was fast without any issues. Fa...

i've been to cape town to attend the conference at cticc. at first the reason i choose this hotel is due to full book of other hotels near cticc. but it was the best choice. it took just 15min on walk to cticc. furthermore they just upgraded my room to 2 bedroom studio. it was fantastic. i really recommend this hotel to anybody going to cape town for business.

It was just 5 days trip with our friends, and we were afraid of the safety of the area but Lawhill was situated in a very safe area, with security gates and you can only come in and come out with your key. The location at the waterfront, you can take a walk around or run in the morning, it is completely safe area. The apartments were very luxurious, everything was equ...

although my tenth or so visit to beautiful cape town, this was my stay at the v&a hotel. we chose the v&a this time, because it is perfectly located directly in the waterfront, allowing easy access to cape town's top shopping location and amusement venues. everyone at the hotel was very relaxed and friendly, we felt very much at home. our room, located on the 3rd floor...

I stayed at Black Heath Lodge with a friend in October for a touch of luxury after a camping tour. We couldn't have been more impressed with the quality of accommodation and customer service that we received from Antony and his team. The rooms were fantastic - beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, large attached bathroom with great water pressure in the shower...

Verde cape hotel is just 5 min drives to cape town International airport. We have an early morning flight to catch so this is a good location. Room and front desk was good and helpful. Car parking is conveniently located at the basement link via lift to our room using access card for safety reason. Except for the many houseflies at the breakfast table otherwise, break...

It luckily happened that we spontaniously made the best hotel choice in Cape Town, as nobody among my friends was to the city before. Everything was beyond expectations - location, staff, rooms, garden, wow breakfast and the ocean views and unforgattable sunsets with whales in the horizon! Thank you all the hotel staff for the exquisite stay! I will definitely be back!...

My husband and I stayed at Akademie for 3 nights for our mini moon after a busy wedding week and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place, we fell in love with it! On arrival, we were welcomed by Declan who delivered the best arrival we have ever received. He showed us around the beautiful property, explained everything we needed to know in detail and took us t...

As South-Africans, let me rather say, people from the Western Cape we don`t explore our own world class venues. I definitely recommend this venue for a second honeymoon or just a breakaway from the kidz, but if you want to take your dear ones with, there is plenty room for them... I had a spacious studio apartment looking over the mall...what a view.

We stayed three nights and did not leave the hotel, despite it is a great location for a day drive to cape point. The genuinely warm and welcoming team made for a most pleasant and relaxing stay. They were happy to accommodate special requests and were noticeably attuned to the details.

Very impressed with this hotel and can happily recommend to fellow travellers in search of a very nice hotel within decent distance of the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are very spacious, nicely set up and well-stocked with beverages and goodie. This would be an ideal place for multiple night stays, even though we only stayed for one night. There is also a really excellen...

We stayed here for 4 nights in December 2018. We were with my in-laws and all of us were very satisfied. My in laws arrived a few days earlier than we did, and they felt that the hotel staff were very helpful in getting them situated in CapeTown. I will say though, that the hotel did not respond to my emails about booking a car to pick us up from the airport, but once...

Just a Wonderful Place with lovely People, Great Food, nice Rooms, nice Pool, amazing sunsets, at s Wonderful Beach! Thank you so much, Future and everybody else! We were so happy there with you. Cape Town Watefront is a 20 Minuten Drive away. With Uber very affordable.

The hotel is located a few blocks from Bo-Kaap, near a hop on/off bus stop going to Table mountain and the other direction takes you to the waterfront. The staff and facilities were absolutely wonderful. The biggest surprise (we booked the suite) was the 3-level loft with full kitchen/ living room/ dining (level 1), the master bedroom (level 2) with larger closet area ...

Excellent service. Elegant rural style serring. Second floor room with the lake view is breathtaking. Restaurant La mise en place is first rate. Food is delicious. Try one of the wine from the estate, Cape Fusion or Bell Tower for instance. Make a stop at the Gin bar and try the gin tasting, an absolute must!

Centrally sited to enable walks around the busy town centre with places of interest and good dining facilities. My room was spacious with a well appointed bathroom. Wi Fi worked better than anywhere else I have stayed in Western Cape, excellent. Public areas clean and tidy. Nice bar area and outside seating. Breakfast was excellent with large choice of both buffet or c...

Location is very practical and felt safe. (You can tell is a nice neighborhood because of the nice cars parked in the street). Very cool restaurants walking distance (Kloof Street House was the coolest for dinner). We booked a back room since I saw some people complained about the noise and it was perfect. An absolute steal for the price. Room was bigger than the avera...

Really nice little apartment in a great part of cape town. Comfy bed, has everything you need and feels secure. I can't comment on the Paragon facilities as it turned out Madison is another building (you still check in at Paragon first) without all of these which Agoda might have made clearer before the stay. The only issue we encountered was there was only one lift a...

Best situated hotel, the parking on premises was safe and secure. We stayed on the terrace of the building, the room was cosy and clean. This is going to be the only place we r going to stay in Cape Town. There is a market where you can get food and something to drink the atmosphere was awesome, we enjoyed it a lot. See Hotel Mojo really soon again

From the moment of arrival, you are aware that this is a very special place. Above all, the management and staff. They go beyond any level of service we have experienced in any 5star hotel in the world. Charming, thoughtful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The position, high above Camps Bay, provides breath taking views, as well as quiet seclusion. The rooms...

We stayed at Simons Town Quayside Hotel for the one night whilst visiting Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. The hotel was well situated in the centre of town and the staff and cleanliness were also good. Breakfast (buffet) was very nice although a little chaotic as I felt that they were one member of staff short with a large trip also staying there. We would hav...
Cheap places to stay in Western Cape Province

Great location, supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants next door and many others within easy walking distance, from 1minute to 5minutes. The Blue Shed Coffee is a must. Great staff, very helpful and friendly, 5 stars all the way. Great hostel. Short & long walks/hikes close by. Fantastic coastal views. Safe town in SA terms. Totally recommend and would stay again and a...

The people at Amakaya were super friendly and helpful - particularly Caylan, who goes out of the way to help the guests out. Room was very comfortable and cosy. They also have a very cosy bar within their premises. I would stay here again if I do come through Plett in future.

Yohann was very kind and welcoming and even upgraded my room which was such a pleasant surprise since I had been on the road for a long time and it was so nice to have my own room and bathroom for once. He provided great detail about local eats and attractions and very kindly drove me to the bus port even though the bus was at 3am in the morning. His kindness and gener...

We were really satisfied here! The people at the front desk was really helpful. You get what you pay for but it's clean enough, you get a good enough breakfast and the bed was totally fine! Minus for share bathrooms and plus for being able to park the car inside the gates! Definitely recommend if you want to save some cash on accomodation!

Backpackers was in a great location, very close to waterfront. Safe enough to walk along street at night to restaurants and shops nearby. Stayed in an en-suite double room, was clean and a good size. Only issue was we couldn’t close bathroom window completely. Staff were all amazing, super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return here on my next trip to Cape Town...

From the airport, the best way to go is by taxi as it is nearly the same price as shared transport to this location. It is from 240 to 260 Rand. You can get it prebooked online via bookings @ sport24hrs.co.za which is the service I used back to the airport. I used the service at the arrivals hall counter on the way in, but I think just to the taxi stand might be the...

Awesome location. Easy by an hour at most to get to surf spots north and south of JacobsBaai Backpackers. Staff friendly and accommodation comfy. Remebr it's a backpackers, so kitchen cleaniless depends on those using it. Maybe clean the tables and chairs more often of the berries and birdie poop :-). All in all a lekker time - Thnx

This place is perfect stay for solo traveler. There's a guy who is very friendly also tell information about Cape Town. Also the manager from this stay seems to have strict regulation about robbery. so i can stay without worrying about missing my things for 4days.

Very clean hostel, with friendly & helpful staff. Situated within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront where there are lots of shops & restaurants. Comfy beds, decent sized ensuite & complimentary towels in the female only dorms. Didn't eat at the Randy Warthog restaurant but it was always busy so that's a good sign of the place! Would definitely stay here again if b...

Once again, Urban Hive wow!! After allowing myself and a colleague to book for a few days at this well known establishment we met with hostility from the infamous Ronny!! Are staff members entitled to have personal attitudes, vendettas or allowed to discriminate? Ronny seems to have all of the aforementioned qualities and seems to have absolute power to enforce as and ...

Good location, about half an hour from cango caves. The owner gave us a discount for the caves. (Adventure tour is worth it). There was hot water but no pressure in the shower. Fully equipped kitchen. Our room was en suite and near the communal tv room and kitchen.

The room was not ensuite like i thought. The beddings seemed a bit too worn out. And the towels provided didnt look very tidy. I did not use the hotel eventually. After seeing the place i moved out and made other arrangements. I was very disappointed.

Clean rooms, linen. Good bathrooms. Communication not good. Expensive to get to and from the bazbus stop. Hasn't got that "vibe" that many 100's of hostels I've stayed in has when you know youve picked the right one. Maybe its a combination of new owners and winter months. But not for me.

Beautiful beach house. Very clean and comfortable - across from a secluded beach. Owners Lyle and Linnea and little Khaya were wonderful. We arrived very late at night and someone was there to welcome us. Super super place to visit. Will certainly be back.

Definitely not for the refined traveler. No towels provided for thos staying in the accommodation. Very basic indeed, The ablutions need a massive upgrade. Communal Kitchen heaving with cups and overloaded fridge. Only for students and backpackers I feel.. Staff friendly enough but although the surroundings are very lush and pretty. there is a constant stream of people...

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to so far. And if you're looking for a place to stay that's cheap and convenient then Homebase backpackers is the perfect place. I booked the single room which was very cozy, I loved it. I did a very stupid thing during my stay and I'm so fortunate that this hostel has the best staff ever. I'd like to thank...

We spent a week here in the tent which is VERY roomy. The only negative is the lack of electricity which we thought wouldn't be a problem. It isn't, but does get very dark in there and you can't leave anything to be charged. It was very comfortable though. The breakfast is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful and there are plenty of places to chill and hang out....

the location of the hostel is excellent, right at hout bay almost opposite to the marina. all in all good place except 1: the toilet is in the room, and i mean literally in it, just seperated with aluminum door and glass. parts of the glass are transparent, so people in the room can hear AND see inside the toilet, not sure whos idea was that or how it never changed 2 i...

On my first-ever trip to South Africa, I wanted to visit Cape Town based on its beauty in pictures and botany (I have a degree in horticulture and most of the plant species in my home locale are identical to those in Cape Town's Kirstenbosch Gardens). I debated about what part of town to stay in and ultimately decided on Sea Point for the ocean view and to be out of t...

De Oude Werf property impresses on every level and we cannot say enough things about this wonderful venue. Nestled and tucked away on a trendy Stellenbosch street, we were warmly welcomed by the manager John and his concierge staff. We even got a tour of the hotel and the hospitality simply amazing. The rooms are out of this world and I leave that for you to find out....

Small apartment style accomodation on residential street. We chose this for location- it's about 2 blocks away from checkers or spar- one of the big supermarkets. But we also chose this for its 24 hr front desk as advertised- however it is false advertising since the front desk was only open about 12 hours a day- from about 8 am to 8 PM. After hours supposedly there's...

We booked a Luxury Premier King Room for the Celebration of our First Year together, carefully budgeted on this little splurge on our very first ‘African Safari’... The experience left a bitter taste... Problems with the Room - Doors that couldn’t lock, lack of water (drought in the Western Cape). All forgiveable... However, being charged extra for An EXTRA Guest, upon...

Simply the best value I have encountered in my 16 trips to Cape Town. Hotels at 3 times the price have about the same amenities but do not have the diligent staff assembled at The Premier Cape Manor. Good breakfast, good bar, nice patio, the sound of the sea pounding at night, excellent beds, perfect location.

I would recommend any person anytime to stay in the apartments . i really loved the setup . i only had one small problem . i would have loved that when booking being advised that i have to collect the key from a different place . than get to a place then you have to go collect the key . that's the only small problem i encountered but i loved the way my situation was ha...

We did not expect the Apartments to be run like a hotel with receptionists, travel advisor, concierge, hotel bar and restaurant. The staff were all very helpful and would give guidance as to the best things to see in and around Cape Town. The hotel would provide taxis to and from the airport. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean with a full kitchen. This was gr...

Attention to detail at this fabulous hotel is second to none. The staff were all particularly friendly and extremely helpful with tips and information for making the most of Cape Town. It was a little difficult to find the car park. Its entrance is on the street above the hotel, not the street that the actual hotel is on, but we found it after a phone call to the re...

We stayed for 2 nights visiting wine country in Cape region. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, it has 4 suits that the owners let out.
