The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and nice. It's not easy to find the hotel, but can't blame to the taxi driver cause there are bunch of similar hotel in the city. This is one of the best of the similar rate hotel in Dali. Call them to arrange transport (reasonable charges) for pick up a day before check in.

The hotel was excellent in lots of ways, being centrally placed with easy access to the main coach and train station, a bus service to the airport, friendly and attentive staff and comfortable rooms.

Great. We were in transit from USA to India and had a 24 hour lay over in Kunming. Got the short stay visa at the Kunming customs and took a taxi into the hotel to get a good nights sleep, walk around the city the next day and taxi back to airport the following evening. It was a nice break and very easy process. We got the cheapest room which was a little small. Fine for our purposes but if you were staying longer you might want to spend more for a larger room. Front desk people don't speak English but were very helpful despite communication barriers. The let us delay our check out to 8Pm at minimal cost. 129 yuan.

We stayed at the New Era hotel while on transit, changing between two flights at Kunming airport. It is perfectly located, in the middle of a bustling, busy city, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Our young teenagers and little one loved it - wifi, TV channels in English, great breakfast buffet. Totally recommend it.

This hotel make us feels like home. The facilities and service is very good, also there is a kids-zone, when we came back, my son went there playing with building blocks with other kids, and I can stay in the downstairs tea area to drink tea and chat with other guests. Recommended for family with children to stay, because it provides good breakfast,free afternoon tea and night snack, very comfortable!

The two young owners are very helpful and Hotel self really decorated w heart and it is only few minutes away from the lijiang old town and so very convenient.

Had a great room ... could see the mountains as well as the East Gate. Room design very nice. Bed comfortable. Lots of hot water ... great after a day of touring. Service excellent and flexible. Responsive with giving tourist guidance, ordering car service, assisting with errands, learning about China, Dali, etc. Whatever we asked about and needed, we received excellent help. Would highly recommend! Would visit Dali again and stay at this property. Thank you Bella for a wonderful experience.

This is a good, comfortable hotel, easy access to airport (which is 25 km from city centre) by cab. Helpful staff, only a little English is spoken. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

The hotel is very clean, the staff are quite friendly and willing to help. I chose non-smoking floor, high-level floor and 2 beds room on Agoda, but they didn't receive any request. However, they tried their best to arrange a 2 beds room for us. Hope the coorperation between the hotel and Agoda can be better.

Weilong hotel's location is excellent at any time. It's particularly good if you don't have much time to spend in the city. Everything's within walking distance - shopping, restaurants, night market, banks, museum. Staff are helpful. Early morning taxis are hard to come by, but hotel staff helped us out.

Give them a call and they will arrange airport pick up. The staff is friendly and helpful. As a transit hotel with its location, nothing to complain with this low rate. If the heater is working well, I would give perfect 10.

This is a great place to stay if you prefer Shuhe - a quieter and more laid back town than Lijiang adn within 5-8 minute by car from Lijiang. Beatifully restored old farmhouse with careful attention to detail on design and aesthetics. The General Manager Hwee Leng andher styaff try hard to delight guests and they do. Cooked complimentary breakfast is hearty and great choice of teas, coffee, cereals, fruit etc. The dining room with a neat library and the lounge ares are fun to hang out. One thing is the bathroom was a tad dark (it is meant to be romantic!) and the room (beautiful and clean) can benefit from more table top space to put things on - both of which the hotel took feedback readily. They give nice toiletries. Very good value and if you have the budget book the villa - it is fantastic.

Highly recommended. Certainly one of the best hotel experience I've had. This boutique hotel in the Lijiang Ancient Town (Gu Cheng) has everything u would need, Air-con with functioning heater, Good audio system, DVD, Wi-fi, and computer in the rooms! This hotel was formally an Art House! While keeping the historical design and feel, they renovated the bathroom with luxurious modern fittings! The hotel staffs were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They assisted us in all the things that we need, providing maps, recommending the places the go, things to take note of, and arranging for all our tours and transports! They could even arrange home cook dinner for you at the hotel. The only thing is to book your room/s early as there are only 9 rooms in this hotels and try to get those rooms in the 2nd level as there are less privacy and may be quite noisy for those rooms on the ground level.

Nothing to say, everything was perfect. Staffs were so helpful and friendly. Feeling at home.

Opened only in March this year, this homely boutique hotel impresses in every way. The local staff are friendly, humble, helpful and service-oriented. Room is very comfortable, the attention to details is admirable. Great location and easy access to many places of attraction. Can't find any fault at all. Highly recommended. I'm sure it'll be the top hotel in Shangri-La.

Songtsam Meili is one of the beet hotels we've ever stayed in Aisa. It's located in a valley surrounded by clouds, 4-5 Tibetan families and farmland. We coiled see the grand Meili snow mountain from the rooftop and our room. We haven't seen so many stars at night for a very long time. The services were fantastic: the staff were genuine and caring. They even cleaned our shoes after our trekking trip. The food was ample and delicious. We can't say enough good things about this hotel. If given a chance, we will stay in other hotels under Songtsam group in Yunnan province.

Located within a stone's throw from Songtsam temple. The hotel staff welcomed us with warm smile which beats the evening cold weather. The decor reminds you of the very reason why you are in Shangrila. Room is of reasonable size though the bathroom would be ideal had it been bigger. Food in the hotel's own restaurant is clean and tasty as well as value for money.

I have stayed at The One Resort in Dali six times over the past four years and every time is a great experience. Excellent location - just a few blocks from the busiest part of the ancient town but the rooms are set back into secluded areas and no noise. A very nice campus style layout with individual buildings each housing just a few rooms. Security is very good and there is parking on property (Underground). A bit more expensive than most Dali properties but very classy and very clean. The road t the hotel is closed to traffic until 8:00 PM so you need to park in the parking lot near south gate and take about a five - ten minte walk to the hotel

I am a very frequent traveller and visit hotels all over the world, but rarely write a review - however after my stay at the hotel in Lijiang I felt compelled to urge anyone thinking of staying here to do so.  Quite simply they were amonst the best I have ever met and i will always remember them.

This is a separate wing from the main hotel building. It is located off the hustle and bustle of the Ancient City, thus you can enjoy quiet and peaceful nights. Yet it is within wlaking distance to all the restaurants, tea houses, night spots, shops, etc. The building and set up is line with the heritage character of the entire Ancient City, ie old China lifestyle but you still enjoy basic necessities such as air-conditioners, private bath and toilets, hot water showers, televisions etc. The dinning area is in the main building which is about 50 meters away. The breakfast buffet line is rather good and quite plentiful, with both local and western food. The staff are rather friendly even though there may be some language problems for non-Chinese speaking tourists.

very near to railway and bus terminal.Good place for shopping as many shopping plazas are just around the corner. you can find all kind of food stores and restaurants. very convenient to get around as public transport stations are just opposite the hotel.Besides all these. Hotel room is clean and food is awsome

Fantastic, It was peaceful, located in old city of lijiang, near to local food stalls, souvenir shops & pubs.The staffs were very very helpful, the room is clean and very confortable. Feel like home and so relaxing. Will come and stay again.

e were really looking forward to our stay at the elephant home and I so wish I could say it lived up to expectations..Positives first.Its in a great location for xishuangbanna gaozhuang and they have a free taxi to Airport Pickup, Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is loca lfood. Good house keeping with clean towels every morning.. reasonable price per night.
