Where to stay in Zhejiang Province
Zhejiang Province hotels & accommodations

We stayed there a couple years ago and never had a second thought about paying another visit. You almost can’t beat this hotel’s location, just a 10-minute walk to West Lake and the busiest shopping district in Hangzhou. There’s a metro station there as well. As for the hotel, large, spacious and very clean rooms with a fresh fruit plate every day. Most basic ameni...

I was born and raised in Shanghai, and going to Hangzhou used to be my weekly thing. After I moved to the states, I still manage to go to Hangzhou each time I visit Shanghai. I’ve stayed in so many hotels near Westlake. The State Guest house is by far the overall the best! There are guards to check each car that goes into the site. The entire property is a giant park. ...

booked last minute via agoda. this is the place where client recommended. travelling in china near zhejiang, hangzhou is a very lovely place to stay and travel. this hotel is conveniencing for business and leisure travellers. sizable bed and perfect location enhanced people to book again. if hotel offer breakfast for booking will be another good point to visit aga...

Great new hotel, location perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Staff simply wonderful. Stayed on club floor where you can eat a very hearty breakfast overlooking the lake. We ate and drank in their Mid-Town Brewery, where the hotel brew their own craft ales and offer some wonderful food, and cockt'ales made from their ales. My husband was in heaven! A wonderful hotel....

When we got into the room, it gave us a "wow", such a big beautiful room with trendy decoration. The view was good but maybe the other side directly facing the lake would be even more beautiful. The hotel seems to have two parts, hotel rooms for vacationers and private houses for residents facing even more beautiful scene of the lake. Breakfast was good and the s...

Clean room and surrounding public areas, the facility looks a bit old but looks are not what an hotel is about, this facility has lasted a great impresión compared to other better rated hotels I have stayed worldwide, this hotel deserves a 5 star rating. Excellent breakfast and staff ready to help at any moment. Definitely I would return to Yiwu and stay at the Best ...

Took my parents to visit Hangzhou. Glad that I booked Xizi hotel. The ground is one of most beautiful garden in China with pleasant smell of fragrant tea olive in October. It has very long shoreline of West Lake and great views of most sightseeing points of the lake. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They transported us to and from different gates since any tim...

The Shangri la is a sprawling grand hotel, almost two hotels in one, in luxurious Chinese governmental style in a delightful setting. It was the first big international hotel to work with the state in Hangzhou ( or so I believe). It is away across the water on the other side of the broken bridge, with the city out of sight. It is near the causeway across the lake and h...

Even though i had booked and paid for the stay via Agoda, most hotels in china request a holding deposit on a credit card. Which upon checkout that holding is released. Landison actually charged my card after checking out, even though all room charges had been paid for in advance. When querying why they had charged my card 2 weeks later, stated it was an accounts mist...

Room was very big with big tub and 2 sides sea view ! (Booked normal room - might be some free upgrade) Very good breakfast Very good and big pool Best location in zhoushan - just sea side -outlets and plenty restaurants nearby- -it’s new area Hotel send to Putuoshan ferry and took us back for free! Best hotel in zhoushan for sure.

I'm traveling on business at Hangzhou China frequently, and I am staying a the Grand Metropark Hotel Hangzhou at most time. At the recent staying at this hotel (2018. 09. 10 ~ 2018. 09. 13, Room 1605), Cheng Li and Xiao Xing the receptionists give me good service as changing my room into twin beds, arranging my courier package and explaining hotel complimentary service...

We stayed for a romantic getaway away from the city, and as the location is a bit random, there's nothing of import in the entire area. The subway however is very close. The hotel is very big and the restaurants are pricey. We got a 70% discount t on our room and didn't feel like spending almost the same amount on a single meal. The pool is nice. And the breakfast was ...

Pros: 1. Close to Futian International Trade Center 2. Connecting to Big and Great Mall 3. Food Choice and shopping at Mall is great (many popular brand stores) 4. Both room and toilet is clean with great design and facilities 5. Bed is very comfortable, aircon is good as well Cons: 1. Hard to find Taxi especially during fair. you can try to book with Didi (like Ube...

The service and the staff were great. There is a big window to look out at the beautiful Xihu lake. There is also a mirror by the window to reflect the view into the room. Beauty beyond description. The swimming pool is great. The dinner buffet at the hotel is definitely one of the best: great selections and high quality. The hotel is right by the lake. There are boats...

If they can maintain pricing at or below the nearby Best Western Yiwu, then they would be the better choice. Bigger rooms, newer building and the Xin Guang Hui Mall is right behind it. Breakfast is good with ample choices. Lighting in the room was bright enough for me to read small prints with the help of a table lamp. Air-conditioning was responsive. Mattress was c...

I was warmly welcomed by Captian Candy, the sweetest hotel staff I have met in all my China trips. She help us feel at ease as this is our first visit to Hangzhou. It is a simple, clean, very pleasant budget hotel located in the middle of all the best sights and shopping area. Cannot ask for more for such a great price. You can walk to the beautiful West Lake. T...

Definitely value for money. For the same price at a hotel room we can get a grand serviced apartment stay here. Best thing is it comes with a washer & dryer (good for us to wash our clothes especially on long trips here in Hangzhou i.e 14 days). We love the living room size and dining table too! And the u-shape kitchen that comes with it! We just love the overall fee...

The free shuttle service is great. Since there are not many guests taking advantage of this service from Shanghai, we had a leisurely ride on a 7-seater van, and time spent on the road was just slightly over 3 hours. The hotel is located near major sightseeing spots, which means you can take a leisurely walk from hotel. There is a travel agent inside the Busines...

This place was perfect for us, clean and quiet with windows that open! The office where you get the rental bikes is about a 10 minute walk and there is a bike stall just outside the hotel. There is also an AMAZING restaurant on the block. Just take a right out the door and it's the fancy ish looking one about 3 buildings down on the same side of the street as the ho...

we stayed for one night. we used the indoor pool and gym. all the facilities are what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. the design of the hotel is very modern with art around. you can look over the lake in restaurant (one in hotel and not the seafood one in resort part- we didn't go there). grounds really peaceful and there is a really nicely designed teahouse. o...

i had a brief ttip to Hangzhou, and if i'd had any idea, i would have stayed 5+ days. Considering i only use a hotel for safe sleeping, the Sofitel fit the bill. It is a little bit dated and could use some freshening up. But i am not there to chill in a hotel room. The room is comfortably sized and the beds are large and comfy too. A nice bathroom as well. Only "comp...

Everything was good, spacious clean room, comfortable bed, decent breakfast and buffet dinner, plenty of facilities to let the kid play around. Downside was indoor pool had a strong smell of pool/chlorine, the reason didn’t go there. Hotel’s playground charges daily for an access was bit strange. Due to hotel was fully booked check-in process took ages, but the long wa...

This Hotel is really very nice and worth every cent I paid for staying there, the staff are very much welcoming and they try thier best to help even though some time thier English get a little in the way, but any way the over all is very pleasing , I advice all vistors to try the spa in this Hotel its made in very high standerd, and the they really know how to relax yo...

Hotel is located at the west side of west lake, at a less crowded location. 5 only walk from the hotel access to part of the lake is even more beautiful than those famous attraction on the lake. Hotel Front desk are very friendly and helpful. Help us to arrange a taxi using her private phone when the booking hot line can't get a taxi. Opposite hotel in a local resident...

From check in to the room is great. It was my second stay there. However I need to commend on the cafe that serves breakfast. The hot food section does not taste good and the selection is mediocre. Spring roll is dry bacon is not crispy to name a few. Fruit selection is few and the cold cuts tasted horrible. Apart from that staffs are not even attentive and a distinct...

Pro: everything was walking distance. The laowai Ave, the best seafood restaurant, the cheap good market etc. The train station was only 2.8km. Most amazing breakfast I have ever had in any Chinese hotel. And I have been in china for a while Con: the restaurants on the premises of the hotel were kinda pricey. I can understand being expensive as it’s a very niceish hot...
Cheap places to stay in Zhejiang Province

In a great location to sites and food. The room was on the smaller side though the bathroom was large. The laundry had only a washing machine though no dryer. Its cheap accommodation so thin walls - bring your ear plugs. The younger guy spoke excellent English, is very helpful and visiting Australia hopefully.

A great hostel experience! The best of hangzhou right here This hostel is one of the best that I have stayed in anywhere, not just in China. Location, location location. simply could not find a better spot in Hangzhou. A quiet and charming old alley tucked against a mountain side at the edge of the bustling city. venture into mountain area behind via old stone stair...

The place is far from the metro station, >20min on foot because you need to cross several roads as well. But alongside some farm fields, the walks have been pleasant. I didn't try the buses but I heard from the others they don't come that frequent. The real problem is people left things like a bag with wet towel on the bathroom basin for days and they were never remo...

They just recently opened in October 1st, so everything is still brand new. The room is spacious; I took the whole dorm for me and my friends. Each bed comes with its own charging plug and individual light, and the sheets and beds are clean. Location wise, very, very strategic. It is located in the middle of Hefang Street, where all the souvenir shops are. Shopping ar...

I came in for a quick nap and wash in between caregiving my wife in the hospital. It’s great value for the promotion price. Hotel is clean and not too noisy, staff is very friendly and gave me complimentary bottle of water and a pack of milk. WiFi require local phone number though. The only complain I had was It’s hard to find food at walking distance but lots of o...

good place to stay for muslim, 1. many halal restaurant is just beside hotel lobby. Helpful receptionist, have laundry near hotel, many taxi. 2. hotel staff help us to find cheap transport to bring our goods to the Hangzhou Airport. 3. Wholesale mall for stationaries / gift / office equipment just walk 15 minutes.

We booked two standard rooms and were informed by the receptionist that the rooms located at ground floor. We concerned about the noise and cleanliness as hotel locate right beside a main road. However, suprisingly they given us upgrate to rooms at higher floor. The hotel looks a bit old from main road. But the room is confortable and cut off most of the noise after c...

I stayed here for 5 days and had a very good experience.. have right expectations, it's a business hotel where if your purpose is to visit district 2 or 3 .. this is hardly walking distance.. staff is also very good only drawback is breakfast which is same everyday... maybe that's Chinese culture... and since I am vegetarian, staff was unable to understand it .. and ...

Worst stay ever. The first room checked in is so dirty , full of dust ! I understand what you pay what you get, but at least the cleanliness should be always maintain. We ended up top up to stay a better room because they have few type of room - for agoda booking and for walk in. Both of the room so much different !

Best hotel for the budget.. lives up to its name The staff were super friendly and helpful. i would give 6 stars for the staff Very clean room and bathroom They even offer washing my clothes for free since i stayed there for 5 days Breakfast is good The only downside is the toilet doesnt have water pump or shower to wash your as* after doing big business and the room...

Very close to Yiwu International Market District 3. Good hotel with only 1 receptionist can speak English. They have nice buffet breakfast. Got a smoking room even when I asked for non smoking room, when I asked to move to another room, I was told that they are all smoking rooms even though there are no smoking signs in the corridor. Finally I managed to get a non...

100RMB deposit. located near Shaoxing's high speed train station at Shaoxing World trade centre, itcan be reached by bus no. 803. hotel has everything you need but with minimum costs. nearby there are some muslim halal restaurants and good local fast food cafeteria. highly recommended.

Really like this hotel! Clean and spacious with affordable price for a standard room, good location although you need to get a taxi to trade centers but surrounding areas pretty nice, some convinience stores, restaurants and traffic is light which not noisy. Both LAN and wifi are available for you to use, good room service, friendly staffs. Furnished with minimalist de...

Shaoxing is a great place to spend at least one day. It's easy to get around. Walk to the area with Bazi Bridge and enjoy the peaceful canals. The hotel is an old house with a beautiful court yard and a nice garden restaurant. Staff is friendly but they don't speak English. To get to the place from Shaoxing North take bus 1 or 3 to downtown (the stop is across from the...

I was on a short business trip and put up 2 nights here. The rooms are beautiful and very clean as the hotel is new. It takes about 5 minutes walk to Commodity Market District 3. Simple Chinese breakfast. I will definitely stay here again for my next trip to Yiwu.

bed is really hard. very limited cable channels. air outside is cooler than the air-conditioning. the bathroom has a smell. its really cheap so what do you expect? At the end of three days we checked out healthy alive and kicking. Its a safe place to take a rest after doing business.

Returned to this hotel after spending a couple of days elsewhere. Checked-in, picked up the luggage we had left three days earlier and was escorted upstairs to our room. The room was similar to the one we had stayed in earlier, on a non-smoking floor. The room was in the similar condition to our previous room, clean, spacious, and comfortable. As this was our last ...

Hotel is great. Location is great too. What’s not great is when i arrived the front desk didn’t have my bookings even when ive shown him mine. Mind you it was 1am in the morning and ive already mentioned during my booking that will be arriving late due to late departure from my country. Not sure whose fault it is but both Agoda and The Hotel need to improve their means...

One of the most memorable hotel stays I've had in a long time! The Good: 1. Warm welcome - This was extended to us by Ms. Rachelle of the front desk. She assisted us with a very smooth check in. Everything was done swiftly. She also paid close attention to small details, and offered to sign me up to their membership program right away, after seeing my travel document ...

the hotel is JUST there, in front of airport. Have shuttle bus but is hard to find. recommend to go to exit 5 in departure area, have information desk and ask them to call to hotel for shuttle bus. Is the best way. The hotel is very new, clean, big rooms, fast internet, good batroom, all perfect. Is not sound proof so unit 9 - 10pm you can hear the airplaines if you ha...

The room was awesome! We stayed in several 4-5 stars hotels in China and this one was by far the best room. Clean, luxurious, extra soft beds, spoiling bath tub.. It definitely made our stay in Hangzhou enjoyable. Room-wise this hotel seriously deserves 5 stars. The location isn't amazing though, unless you want to do some fashion shopping (in Western- not Chinese- pri...

Me & a colleague visited Hangzhou on 23 April 2019 for a Business meeting with a Machine Supplier. I booked this Hotel online. The Hotel itself is pretty nice, spacious rooms, good amenities, I really liked the soothing blue night light in the bathroom & rooms. However, it was a bit far from Hangzhou East Railway Station & the place of our meeting. Except for the dista...

My stay at HZIH was fantastic, I even ended up adding an extra night. Although it's not close to the city, it was right around the corner from my office, so suited me perfectly. Staff was very attentive, and really took the time to help me out. This was despite a basic grasp of English, but hey, i was in China and I didn't speak Chinese, so I wasn't helping the situati...

The hotel is located a stone drop from the central Hangzhou rail way station. You just about be able to reach to all cities of Zhejiang and many other provinces by the new fast train. Also there is a bus station with regular buses to Shanghai if you cannot catch the fast train. The hotel staffs are very helpful and polite. They would give your assistance and help whene...

Next to perfect. New hotel . Staff were attentive, Breakfast and Dinner Buffet boast a wide variety. They have a nice gym and swimming pool. Rooms is well decorated, big in size. Restroom is clean, huge, water running high. The only error was the housekeeping for to replace complimentary water on 1 of the 5 nights I stayed. Otherwise, i would say my stay ...

The hotel is nice but i was very impressed with some staff members. A special mention to Ms Queenie in the restaurant who helped me with breakfast when i didn't want to eat a buffet. Ms Queenie was very helpful and the hotel should be proud of such good people. All staff in the restaurant were very friendly.

My stay there was extremely enjoyable.I was served well as the bellboy helped us to deal with our bulky and heavy luaguaes. Services at the counter were also commendable as they were polite and have had very good manners. The room which we were given was gorgeous with a variety of movies and shows provided.Washroom attached was well-designed.It is obvious that the hot...

We absolutely loved our stay at Rock and Wood Cozy House! The place is immaculately clean, beautifully designed and thanks to our incredibly welcoming, kind and friendly host Ivan, we always felt like we were at home. Our room had everything we needed. Also loved how the space was so well maximized. Our stay was super comfortable, peaceful and the location was fantasti...

Vienna International hotel is conveniently located near the Hangzhou East Train Station, where the city metro (mrt) is located. When we reached the train station, it took us about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the hotel after asking for direction from the info counter. Can't help comparing the direction given by the info counter given here and that at Japan, here the d...

this is a decent to good hotel for business-travellers. you have all your essential needs covered there (internet-access, room-service, parking if you come with your own car) as of march 2011 the hotel is still pretty new - and of course a newly opened hotel is always a better hotel. staff can speak - however well english - so international travellers will have no big ...

Very pleasant stay in the hotel overall. The main counter staff can be helpful when not busy but they tend to be engrossed in their own world in the computers and paperwork. An assistant counter staff, however, gave me a lot of help where to go to the important tourist’s spots and well known restaurants and eateries specialising local Shoaxing flavour. The location is...

Very beautiful, class of its own, no words can describe the superiority, the only Inconvenient is, the location is about 2.3km away from the water village and its difficult to get transportation to main attraction... nevertheless, the hotel itself is an attraction itself...

we stayed in the hotel for a period of 3 nights and instantly felt welcomed by the staff. The hotel certainly lives up to its 4 star rating (unlike some others in China) with the quality of rooms and amenities well worth the price. This hotel complimented our stay in Hangzhou very well and would recommend this to anyone (business or leisure travel) considering a trip t...

The hotel has great facilities, and the service at the restaurant is very good. The only problem is that they charged CNY 196 for breakfast which is too high. So generally they discourage most people from having breakfast at the hotel. Aside from this, the room and service at the hotel was great 5 stars !

Best hotel that I've stayed over in Hangzhou. Staff over at Reception is nice and friendly. Very approachable and professional! Had a pleasant stay. Staff Lucy is the staff that I would like to complement of her professionalism and going over the extra miles in helping my check in and other request.

Read great reviews online. Booked 2 rooms (Business and Luxury Suite). I think the reviews are more than accurate in the best way. Special mention and thanks to Xavier whom had helped us even before we arrived at the hotel till departure. The rooms was nice presented, modern and large. Bed and bathroom was 5 star quality with options of pillows. The hotel staff from...

My room was upgraded to Villa. Large room with excellent amenities from Alila. I love the large bed. Great service from all the staff and special thanks to Mr Alvin Yeoh (Sales manager) that took us to nearby bamboo forest and warm interaction from Mr Marco (GM). In a word, Excellent. I was there with my wife for sightseeing and time off from busy city life. Both goals were achieved. The hotel was a nice relaxing pad, with very helpful staff, guiding and assisting us from getting a taxi to advicing us on which sites to visit. I would definitly stay at this hotel again whenever I visit Hangzhou again.

This was the second time we were at Wuzhen staying at waterside hotel. The first time was during spring. We booked 2 rooms one for my Boss. Very good services and very good attitude all the Hotel staffs at all the various sections from housekeeping to welcoming us which I had encountered during my 3 nights stayed in this very excellent hotel. I was immediately impressed right from the start. The staff spoke confidently in English and the doorman assisted me through a minor booking mix-up at the reception desk. Usually I find that Chinese staff are...

I spent 2 nights at the Chefle hotel. For the money, it is maybe the best value that I have gotten at a hotel. The rooms were clean and well designed. Nothing to write home about, but everything was well done. The hotel architecture is both beautiful and unique. In terms of location, it is in a quiet neighborhood along a river canal. It is not close to the best a...

Good view of nature surrounding. Good for family with kids for weekend stay. But location is far from Hangzhou town area. Breakfast was fairly good with lots variety to choose.
