Very spacious room”
Location was not far from gare du nord, safe and quiet area of Paris. Love the spacious room and heater during cold winter days.

Good hotel but very noisy”
Everything inside the hotel is great - staff on reception at check in were helpful, room was clean and enough space for me, with great amenities (toiletries, safe, large bed, tv with some channels in English). However I was on the first floor, overlooking the road, which although not a main road, is still very busy and is cobbled so the noise is amplified. There were delivery trucks and rubbish trucks outside between 2230 and 0030 so couldn't sleep. Lots of noisy trucks and motorbikes use the road throughout the night, I ended up having to sleep with my noise-cancelling headphones on. If you're a light sleeper like I am, make sure you take earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones to get some rest. The lift was also out of service so be prepared to climb stairs.

FANTASTIC location”
I stayed at Hotel Relais Du Pre for 4 nights and it was easy to get around to shopping centres even by foot. Subway station (Poissonniere) is just 3 minutes walk away. Gare du Nord train station is also nearby 10 minutes walk. Supermarkets are everywhere down the streets on main road. Staffs are very helpful and friendly! This hotel is a chain of 4 hotels and they are all on the same street just a few doors away :). Nice place. The elevator is the most amazing piece of antique i have ever seen (im from Asia). Its a mini 3-person (maximum) elevator. Its so cute. Great experience!

A quiet oasis in the heart of Paris”
This hotel is close to subway station Cadet on line 7, which connects with major attractions such as the Opera and the Louvre. It is on a quiet street and is close to restaurants and a grocery store. It is also only a short distance by taxi or on foot from the Gare du Nord. I had booked a single room with breakfast included. My room was large enough, with a comfortable double bed. Being tall and a senior, I found the bathtub very small and hard to climb into due to its tall sides. Frederic at the reception desk very kindly moved me into another room with more space and a larger tub with shower. As I had paid in advance, there were no extra charges for me when I moved into the new room. Staff at the desk were very helpful and Frederic gave me very good instructions on how to get from Paris to Versailles. I was very pleased with both the service and amenities of this hotel, and would certainly recommend it to travellers seeking a quiet and modestly priced hotel in Paris.

Excellent service!”
I should be sleeping right now, but I couldn't go to bed without writing this review. It's my first time in Paris, and my first time to stay at a three-star hotel. (In the past, I've favored more "premium hotels." But, because I told myself that I should spend more time exploring Paris, I made sure that I picked a hotel that wouldn't feel like a cocoon that I'd never want to leave.) I braced myself, and set very low expectations. When I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the genuine warmth of the service of the lady (Eve) at the reception. Unlike the trained/practiced courteousness of other receptionists at, say, 5-star hotels (that, sometimes, seem excessive and impersonal), it was good to be welcomed by a human being. But the real highlight of my stay (so far) was how the gentleman on night duty helped to get me sorted out. Almost as soon as I checked in, I noticed that the room had a rather strong smell of paint. And so, before my friend and I went out to explore the city, I left the balcony door open, in the hope that it would get rid of the fumes. When I got back to the hotel, the smell of paint was still there. I tried to see if I could endure it, but I could feel that my head was starting to ache and I was starting to feel congested. I called up the reception, and the gentleman (named, "Mohammed") immediately inspected the room. He told me that he would search for another room, and that he would call me in a matter of minutes. Less than two minutes later, he called me to tell me that he would be moving me to another room. He helped me get my things out of that room, and he passed me the key to my new room (which turned out to be an unexpected, but very welcome upgrade). Mohammed was the only person at the reception, and I can only guess what a tough job it must be to be managing a hotel (with limited night staff). Hats off to him for helping me, and making sure that I'll get a good night's sleep--thanks to his very prompt attention and re

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Very clean and good value.”
The room was a decent size for the price and the bed was very comfortable. It was easy to sleep as it was in a quiet location in terms of street traffic. The hotel is very close to the Gare Du Nord train station and is a quick subway ride to the downtown core. I extended my stay and the staff were very helpful with a couple requests I had. They also gave me some tips with regards to navigating Paris and dealing with touristy areas. If I were to stay in Paris again, I would stay at this hotel.

Reasonable price. Convenient location”
We have enjoyed the stay at Relais du Pre. Staff were polite and helpful (when we asked for information and also requested for taxi booking). Room was clean. Little bit of traffi. and rubbish collection noise at night but acceptable. Near to post office, restaurants and little supermarket.

Great stay in Paris”
It was pleasant stay where we were in Paris although is small but it's clean and comfort! The front desk staffs are friendly and helpful to provide tourist spot information per requested. Nevertheless, it is walking distance from hotel to the nearest metro station and Gear du Nord.

Nicely situated, simple, clean hotel”
If you are on a budget, the hotel is ideal. Well situated in the Opera district. Clean, but quite small room, but that's the norm in Paris. Walking distance to many places, as the grand magazines. Close to metro also.

Nice tidy hotel”
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The room was small but comfortable. It was extremely clean and we'll kept. The shower is a little odd, and ends up soaking the bathroom, but not a huge deal. Restaurants and the metro are very close. We'd definitely stay there again

Very good”
A small hotel that is very close to the Metro (best way to get around Paris) and is walking distance to most of the Paris landmarks. Multiple choice of restaurants and other food outlets very close buy. Room had no shower but a bath, no fridge (which is common in a lot of hotels in France) street noise is very audible from our room. Bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

worth for money with spacious room and a balcony”
travelled alone, and the hotel surprised me with a small balcony, bigger room in paris standard, and location is just 15mins walk from Lafayette shopping area, quiet at night, quite satisfied with such a cheap price.

will stay here again”
the area is quiet since it is located 3 min walking from the main road. it has another 2 sister hotels nearby. the staff is friendly and they helped us to find a room at the sister hotels since they are fully booked that time. the elevator is small and can only accommodate 2 people with 3 medium baggage. other than that the hotel is good for travelers on a budget.

Small room, but an enjoyable stay”
Great stay overall. The room felt very small, but maybe this is common in Paris. The staff were helpful, but very laid back. The continental breakfast was nice to fill up on, but nothing to write home about. An enjoyable stay overall, would stay here again.
