Great no-frills hotel for tourists that want to stay in Roppongi”
If you are looking for a practical no-frills hotel in Roppongi the REMM Roppongi is a great one. The hotel is ideally located diagonally across from the fabulous Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Train Station. All the “bad” stuff (eg. people at night trying to “hustle” you into visiting clubs etc) that you hear about Roppongi start about 150 yards to the right, and that’s not so bad. The area is excellent for people-watching. There are beautiful gardens, museums etc within walking distance. Tokyo Midtown (a huge slick shopping complex) has awesome shops, restaurants etc. There’s a Starbucks, wine bars etc right next to Midtown. I wish the rooms were larger. To get a larger room I chose a twin-beds (ie 2 twin beds) room and that room was barely adequate. The location and hotel are perfect for someone on a budget and that wants to stay in the Roppongi area. The train station makes it easy to get to anywhere. Tokyo’s subway makes it a very べんり (benri = convenient) city.
Remm Roppongi is an EXCELLENT Hotel”
I am very satisfied with Remm Roppongi in terms of its location. It is very close to the Roppongi station and makes travelling to and fro hotel a breeze. The room is very clean and new. The massage chair in the room is such a value add as after a day of shopping and walking, it helps to relieve body and muscle ache. The staff is very friendly, knowledge and helpful. They can provide very help tips on how to travel with Tokyo and to/fro airport in the most economical way. Both thumbs up for Remm Roppongi hotel. We would definitely return to stay in this hotel in Tokyo
Great experiences in roppongi remm.”
First, this hotel is great positions in Tokyo and this place is providing comfortable public transportation to go famous stations like shibuya or shinjuku, akihabara. Nevertheless, you have to be careful if you will use rental cars or personal cars because remm roppongi is not providing parking service and further, nearby parking places' prices are so much. Secondly, you could use this hotel with very nice prices and conditions of room are hella great. However, in standard on single room, you might feel that room is so small to active. 4.5/5
Great massage chair and lovely/friendly staff”
Yes, the room might be a bit small but it was definitely one of the best hotel room in Tokyo. The location was the best selling point as it was only a stone threw away from the Roppongi station. There are myriads of convenient stores, restaurants and we were told it was right in the centre of Tokyo night life. I will book to stay in Remm Roppongi again.
Excellent location”
We had a short weekend getaway last weekend and decided to stay 2 nights in Roppongi and 1 night in Ginza. remm Roppongi is just a few mins walk from station and many restaurants and bars nearby. It's also at walking distance to Omotesandō for shopping and dining. The room is small as expected. It's clean and the bed is comfy. The Tokyo Tower view and the massage chair are nice too.
5 days stay at Remm Roppongi”
Had stayed in Remm Akihabara and decided to try the Roppongi Remm. Excellent location to Roppongi station (note different from Roppongi Sanchome station). Within walking distance to Ritz Carlton where the airport limo buses drop and pick up passengers. Food choices are great. Especially like the massage chair (small though) but it was a relief after a day of walking around. Only downside is the hotel is near to the road so noise level can get a bit loud at times. Otherwise love the hotel and would certainly choose Remm again!!
Modern, Clean, but Small ”
It was our first time in Japan and we didn't really understand or do any research prior about Japan and their hotel rooms. If i had known I would've looked into a bigger room within REMM. But with that said, it was not the hotel's fault, it was ours. Overall, it was a nice and clean hotel that provided all the necessities. Everything was well kept and the staff was incredibly nice. What I liked was that our floor had different pillow options! My fiance generally likes harder pillows and the fact that the hotel offered that without an additional cost was a nice add on. Very budget friendly and was centrally located and close by to all of the nightlife in roppongi.
One of the best options for short stay in downtown Tokyo”
Remm Roppongi really impresses me by its staff team, room arrangement and fabulous location. The breakfast place in the cozy and wood furbishing offers nice and fresh fruits and salads, which helps the typical business travelers the most for boosting them for the day. Sadly it does not have any gym facility (e.g. treadmill) on site. But I would be back here next time once I am heading back to Tokyo for business.
Exceptional”
Great location and within minutes of Roppongi Station and many good restaurants. Since it was my first trip to Tokyo, I would highly recommend this location since the train station was much easier to navigate and not as crowded on the streets. Train ride to Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku was only a 15 minute train ride so you can still visit these popular destinations without the noise, crowds and stress of navigating Shibuya and other larger train stations. Family Mart and several 7-Elevens within 5 minute walking distances too for morning or late nigh snacks. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel for first time travelers t Tokyo.
Great hotel”
The interior design of the room was great! Enjoyed the massage chair and the fantastic Tokyo Tower view. Bathroom was the right size and bed was comfortable too. Nothing I would complain about the room. Breakfast was just ok. Wish it would have more Japanese food choice. Location was convenient. Close to the subway station and lots of famous Ramen and yakiniku restaurants around. Walking distance to roppongi hill & museums. The only cons was there was it's not a great place to shop (only a smaller drug store nearby and the other shops around were all high-end shops like Tokyo midtown.) Overall very satisfied with the stay!
Good location”
This hotel is located in the center of Roppongi, no matter you want to take Hibiya Line or Oedo Line, you can walk to different entrance to take the metro easily. If you want to go to Roppongi Hill, it just takes you less than 10 mins walk to there and you can enjoy the best city view!! And the hotel room is relatively bigger than other rooms in Tokyo, at least there is a short corridor from entrance to the bed so that you can have space to open your luggage box!
Great value and location”
The Remm is well priced and in a great location near the Roppongi Hills junction. Room is small but modern. Comfy bed and great shower. No real storage space and I think a squeeze for 2 persons. Ok for a shower and sleep.
Best hotel in roppongi & nogizaka”
The hotel is new so we definitely enjoy the cleanliness and the facilities, especially the massage chair. Only 2 minutes from roppongi metro station and about 8 minutes from nogizaka. 5 minutes from tokyo midtown and roppongi hills. Tons of food, like gindaco, ramen restaurant like ippudo etc. We really enjoy our stay and definetely will comeback.
Great location Perfert service ”
Great location. Got 3 train stops near by, convenient stores are just downstairs. Tons of good restaurants in the hood. Walking distance to Roppongi hills, midtown and Don Quixote. Perfect service. Staffs are very helpful. Multi language spoken. Thanks very much for keeping my tickets, making reservations and lending umbrella and iron. Nice view. Enjoyed waking up to see Tokyo tower every morning. Small but functional room. WiFi, international adapter provided in the room. However the room was tiny as you would expect from Japan.
Excellent”
Remm Roppongi is within a 2 minute walk from Roppongi station that serves the Hibiya and Oedo lines. Its very convenient to go to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tsukiji and Akihabara. I enjoyed the sleeping gowns provided and rainfall shower. Very clean facility.
Marvel of efficiency”
We loved the Remm. The room was tiny but very comfortable and impeccably clean, which felt like a real Tokyo experience. Somehow they squeezed in all the amenities we want. Great view from our room on the 20th floor. The who,e place feels very modern, and minimalist. We checked in a little early and they waived the extra charge for that. Not sure about facilities, as we didn't look for them.
A great location for Roppongi, Omotesando, Ginza, etc.”
I could see the Tokyo Tower from my room, and it's quite great. I can reach the Roppongi station (two lines passing) by walk within 2 mins, Starbucks and Seven Eleven in 2 mins, Blue bottle in 3 mins, and the National Art Center Tokyo in 5 mins. Even though the room is small, it has everything I need. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good with low fat yogurt, Japanese dishes and other western dishes. Highly recommended.
Exceptional”
We stayed here for 11 nights and had 3 incidents: 1. housekeeping was not done for 1 day. when we checked with the reception, the housekeeper was adamant that it was because we had pasted the ‘no cleaning required’ sign. we did not. the housekeeper could have mixed up the sign pasted on other rooms but instead of accepting that possibility, the front reception kept insisting it was definitely not an oversight of the housekeeper but our mistake. appalling service. 2. the hotel provides for 2 small bottles of water which are topped up daily. we requested for an additional bottle of water on a particular as we have ran out of it and my boyfriend needed some water to take his medication. the hotel refused, stating that maximum number of bottles for each room is 2 daily regardless of circumstances and situations. they said they will provide for 2 bottles daily without fail, and nothing beyond that. a strange and inflexible rule comparing to hotels in our home country but we accepted it and went out in the cold to get a bottle from a nearby convenience store. 3. The hotel forgot to top up 2 water bottles. for 1 of the days. we would have let this oversight slide if this didnt happen right after their refusal to provide an additional bottle in incident #2. aside from lapses in service, the hotel is in a very convenient location, 2 mins walk from the subway exit. it is also located at the less seedy side of Roppongi. the room was small but expected.
Modern hotel in the heart of Roppongi. Good breakfast buffet for gluten free”
We stayed here for 2 nights. It's right in the heart of Roppongi and very convenient for the station, Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills shopping malls. The rooms are very small but have everything you need for a few nights. We had the buffet breakfast at Cedar the Chop House & Bar restaurant on the 2nd floor. There was a range of western and Japanese dishes in the buffet and I was super impressed that each dish had a sign in front of it with the english name and symbols clearly showing which allergens were in the dish (eg wheat, dairy etc). One of our party required a gluten free diet and it made it very easy for him to select which dishes he could eat. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Clean and convenient location”
Much less crowded as compared to main areas such as shibuya and shinjuku. Brought my 1 year old toddler along, convenient as there's meidiya supermarket at a walking distance from the hotel. There's also a drug store with babies supplies available beside hoshino coffee which is along remm roponggi and Precce (24 hrs supermarket) at Midpoint . Parents would appreciate the massage chair in the room esp after long hrs of walking. The only downside is that there isn't a direct airport transfer to the hotel. Requires u to change trains to reach the hotel.
